PORTRAIT
Tumblr media
synopsis. a sketchpad, pencils, and your boyfriend Keiji on a Friday.
genre. fluff
pairing. Akaashi Keiji x gn!reader
notes and warnings. grammar and lowercase intended, finally wrote something,,,
Tumblr media
akaashi always asks you if you want to come over to his house every Friday. you agree so you can use this opportunity to catch up and spend time with him. so here you are in his room, with your back against the wall sitting on his bed. just watching akaashi read infront of you. occasionally he would make comments about what he's reading or you ask about it.
you feel happy whenever you get to see him, as simple as that. but today something is bothering you.
he felt your eyes on his figure and asked you. "why are you staring at me love?" you squinted your eyes and pouted. your chin resting on your hand, "hmm... don't mind me bub I just feel like I'm forgetting something." "what is it? maybe I could lend some help." "its alright its pretty trivial for sure." "okay, just tell me if you need my help." you hummed, your eyes landed at the sight of your bag.
you suddenly stood up from the bed, startling akaashi in the process. you opened up the bag and found your sketchpad. then it clicks, you immediately grabbed the sketchpad and your pencil case then plopped down on the bed.
you went through your old sketches until you find a fresh white page to draw on. you slowly went into a comfortable position to not bother the black haired boy.
"have you figured it out?" he speaks first. "yep, I just remembered I have to sketch something." you respond, thinking of making him a portrait. "bub if you don't mind..." he stops reading, his blue orbs stare at you, quirking an eyebrow.
"can you can be my model for this drawing?"
his eyes soften and so does a smile appear on his face. "of course, I don't mind go ahead." "thanks bub! just relax and continue reading I'll start now." you beamed at him and began to move your pencil across the paper.
akaashi spent his time reading with the faint scratching sounds of your pencil against the paper. you both love how effortless things are when spending time with each other.
the time flew by quickly and akaashi has finished his book. he looked at his wall clock, he notices how its time for you two to take dinner. your boyfriend placed his book on his nightstand.
"we should eat dinner love." "what time is it- oh.." upon seeing the clock, your stomach began to grumble. which made you close your eyes from embarrassment, turning your head away and earned you a chuckle from your lover.
you're almost finished with your work. "you can go ahead first keiji." "but your stomach is already grumbling." "please don't mention that- its fine go ahead I'm almost done." he hums, "I should just bring your food back here you seem busy after all." "okay thank you."
he leans over to you to give you a kiss before standing up to leave. you continue to add more lines, shadings and erase mistakes until you finally had your finished product. satisfied, you stretched your arms and limbs.
akaashi came back with your plate, placing it down on his table with a light thud while you move to sit on his chair. "oh, you're done that's great here's your food. don't starve yourself." he tells you but you don't miss the tinge of concern in his voice. "I will don't worry" you responded with a smile.
you started to fill your stomach with food. keiji began fixing his bed and found your sketchpad. he didn't mean to open it but his curiosity got the best of him. your works amaze him, his amazement growing slowly as he flip each page. until he spots your latest work, it's him reading, body relaxed against his bed. the way you captured him made his heart swell.
he has caught glimpses of your works before but this one touched him. the blue eyed boy is aware that you chose him as your model, with each line you drew mesmerized him, its beautiful. akaashi can't believe to find someone as lovely and talented as you.
you finally finished eating and drank the glass of water before turning to face him. you notice your sketchpad on his hand. realizing that he had already saw the portrait you made and so does your other works. you can't help but feel your face flare up a little bit.
"your works are incredible love, they're beautiful just like the artist." he says pleasantly and with ease. your face flares up even more and felt the need to hide it from him. he prefers to show his affections through actions rather than words, but when he does use words it always leave you swooning.
"you're beautiful to me too you know, that's why you're my model." you approach to wrap your arms around him and give him a kiss on his lips. "I'm glad to hear that bub." he says while you continue to kiss him and nuzzle your face against his. he lets out giggles, the sound are like music to your ears and will always be.
"I love you keiji." "I love you too [y/n]."
maybe he should also show you the poems he created about you soon.

I'm confused about the scoring system. It was said on the website that people were scored (numerically) and yet someone with much higher scores than I got didn't get accepted nor was offered the mentoring/beta/get to know discord.
I can't help but feel there is an error here. Is there a way to explain this?
Hi anon!
So there are a few things going on here, and I’ll try to explain them all.
Thing the First:
The scores on the rubrics are raw scores. Once we really got down-and-dirty with rating things, and I did some data analysis, I discovered that some of our raters were being a bit more generous than others. By the time we were done with all the scoring, there was nearly a 2 point split between the most generous and least generous scorer, on average. This was clearly a fairness issue - if one writer got our three most generous raters, and a second writer got our three least generous raters, even if they submitted identical stories, the second writer would get a lower rating. Rather than leave things like that, I did some research on statistical models that would standardize our ratings.
Basically, with the help of an excel algorithm (the “STANDARDIZE” function), we calculated the average that each rater gave, and that rater’s deviation from the mean (standard deviation), and plugged that in to convert their ratings from the 0 to 20 scale to a different, standard scale - which ran roughly from -2.5 to positive 2.5. What the standardization really did was - for each rater, whatever score they personally gave on average was 0 (so, if rater one’s average score was a 15...that was standardized to zero. And if rater two’s average score was 10...that was also standardized to zero. So now instead of comparing apples to oranges, we were comparing apples to apples). Then, if they rated a fic 1 standard deviation above or below their average, that became a 1 or a -1. If they rated it 2 standard deviations above or below their average, that became a 2 or a -2. And so on. This ensured that all of the stories were rated on the same scale and everyone was treated equally - standardization of test scores erased the differences caused by some people rating more strictly.
So, if you and your friends are comparing rubrics (which you’re welcome to do!) and you noticed that some of you did better, numerically, but had different outcomes, that’s likely a factor - one of you may have had more generous or more strict readers.
(Here’s some more information on how Standardization, here’s the very basics...there are other forms of standardizing, such as fitting folks to a bell curve, or curving the entire score, but those were not suited to our needs)
Thing the Second:
The top 20 authors, statistically adjusted for fairness, were invited to contribute to Add Magic to Taste. As it turned out, these top 20 DID roughly correlate to our top 20 by raw scores; comparing the two rankings, there are only two people out of the top 20 who wouldn’t have made it based on raw scores but did when their scores were adjusted to be standardized against the same scale.
The next 20 authors (ranked 21 to 40, when statistically adjusted for fairness) were also invited to Discord, and we’ve also invited them to potentially be involved in a second anthology. Depending on how many of them say yes, we may be able to open that opportunity up a bit more, but we’re not sure yet. Two of these people, by raw score, would have made the top 20, and three of these people, by raw score, would not have made the top 40. However, again, when we standardized the data to reflect the differences in rater strictness, these were the results.
That leaves another 62 people, who had various ratings all below those top 40. Some of them had a raw score fairly similar to their standardized score...and some of them didn’t. For example - my wife was an applicant to this, and she gave me permission to use her numbers for this example. By raw average? My wife came in 49th. However, one of her raters was someone who USUALLY rated very high, and gave hers a (relatively, compared to that person’s usual hig haverage) low score - when that was adjusted statistically, it caused my wife’s fic to plummet to 64th, because even though the raw number itself wasn’t bad, it was statistically well outside the norm for that rater. So, believe me when I say - these standardizations can make a big difference. If you, or anyone reading this, would like, I’m willing to send you what your standardized scores were (while still maintaining reviewer anonymity). I was originally thinking of adding them to the rubrics but doing so would have been a lot of work, and so I passed - next time we do this, they’ll probably be on there.
Thing the Third:
Often, what separated a fic that succeeded from a fic that didn’t was the range of raters scores. For example, the fic that ended up with the highest rating (by both calculations) wasn’t anyone’s favorite fic - but all three readers thought it was solid, and that was enough. My personal favorite fic? Didn’t even hit the Top 20. What often happened was -
Top fics: either all three people liked it pretty well, or one to two people adored it and the other person or people liked it well enough.
Second tier fics: either all three people thought it was okay, or one person loved it and two people were fairly meh about it.
Middle-range fics: either all three people thought it was average, or one person loved it and two people didn’t like it, or two people thought it was pretty good but one person hated it.
Lower quartile fics: either all three people didn’t think the fic was “up to snuff,” or one or two readers really hated it while a third thought it was average.
This isn’t universal, of course - but a fic that had one really high rating could easily do worse than a fic that had three so-so ratings, because...that’s how averages work. And that’s also why we had three readers for each - to try to even out some of the differences that would arise if someone had an extreme reaction to a fic that others didn’t. Obviously, it’s not a flawless system - no system was flawless - but with the resources and manpower we had, we thought this was a fair way to handle things, and we truly did our best. As soon as we broke 20 applications, we were never going to be able to accept everyone, and so we strived to create a transparent system that treated all of our applicants equally.
Thing the Fourth:
Now, in addition to the “why might scores be higher/lower” aspect of your question, there’s the aspect of “getting the Discord invite.” Now, the top 40 folks got Discord invites automatically, and those offers were based solely on the rating they received.
The other Discord invites that we sent out were not based on ratings alone! Just like we had a “reader subjective feelings” category on the rubric, when we’d finished rating all the stories, we were left with a conundrum - all of us had fics we liked that didn’t make the top 40. Maybe it was that “one person love it and two people didn’t like it” permutations. Maybe it was that all of us thought it was “good” but not “great.” Maybe some aspect of the story caught our eye. Based on our reactions, and the fics we saw that we wished had made it, we selected people to get invites. Those Discord invites were sent out based solely on subjective criteria.
Yes, we worried about doing this. Yes, we went back and forth about doing it at all. But in the end, what we decided was - we didn’t want to give Discord invites to everyone, because there were plenty of people we didn’t think their writing was quite ready yet - mentoring is an intensive prospect, and one for which we won’t get paid up front and might possibly never get paid, and while this all looks wonderful from the outside please do remember that we’re running a business - one that I’ve been working my ass off on for more than four months and have yet to earn enough to draw a single paycheck. So inviting everyone was never in the cards. And on the other hand, if we chose to give invites to no one, that would mean potentially having some people that caught our eye “slip through the cracks.” What if they got too discouraged to reapply? What if we missed the chance to work with them, after they’d impressed us?
To use an analogy - we saw something in everyone who applied, but in some it was “this is an uncut diamond, and we aren’t in the position to take it from raw to finished,” and in others it was, “this is a diamond with a crack, or a flaw, or a rough spot...and we think if we put in the work, we can get it to perfection.” And our verdict on the uncut diamonds isn’t, “this is uncut and it will never be cut,” it’s, “all of these diamonds have spent years honing themselves and working hard to strive for flawlessness, and but some are clearly farther along that journey than others. Once these uncut diamonds have shaped more of their rough edges themselves, we hope they’ll come back when they are ALSO only one flaw from perfection, and work with us then!”
There was no way for us to win, and there was also no fair way to distribute invites based solely on the raw scores, or even based solely on standardized scores, because some of the scores were sometimes not reflective our actual opinions of the writing. For example - if someone wrote a grammatically perfect story, with a compelling use of language, but the plot and characters were inaccessible to us because it required fandom knowledge we didn’t have, that might have scored very poorly, but we have every reason to think that if they’d chosen a different work that was more accessible they’d have done much better. Or, as another example - if someone’s writing was really sloppy, because of a lack of editing or possibly because English isn’t their native language - but they have a skill for creating characters, or setting a scene, or had excellent pacing - then again, they could have ended up with a score that didn’t reflect the actual potential that we saw in their work - using our judgement and expertise.
So, flat out - yes, there are inequalities in how the Discord invites were distributed to the 62 people who didn’t make the cut for either anthology. And yes, we agonized over whether to give them out at all. And no, I won’t swear that we always made the right choices - we were going by the one story submitted to us, and we had to use our best judgement based on what we were presented - what each applicant chose to submit. In the end, we invited the people who - regardless of their score - we personally thought were the closest to being sellable - in the sense of, “probably only missing one piece that would help with to get them from ‘didn’t make it’ to ‘now we’re talking.” And I truly, truly wish that we could have everyone. But if we spend all our time mentoring people, then we won’t have time for doing any of the other aspects of this business. We are not a writing school. We are a book publisher. This ISN’T just fandom, and I DO have to think about what is sellable and what isn’t, because in the end...I’m trying to make money, and pay my staff, and give our authors the highest royalties possible, and, and, and.
As a further note on this topic? We are still issuing new Discord invites, based on e-mail conversations we’re having with people. Several people who didn’t initially get those invites? Have now gotten them. It just depends on how people are responding to us, and the conversations we’re having, and lots of other factors.
And, as I tried to say in the post I put up earlier today about notifications: even the people who didn’t get invites have potential. Every single writer who applied has potential. All of you, even if you struggled with multiple areas, had some aspect in which you shined. In a perfect world, we would help you all. But this isn’t a perfect world, and I don’t have the hours in the day to bring up the people who aren’t already close, and I’m sorry about that. So, please, please - if you didn’t make it, don’t be discouraged, and don’t give up. You’re the only one who can tell your stories - if you don’t do it, no one else will. Find fandom friends who will give you honest critique. Learn to read your own writing with a critical eye. Track down stories that really speak to you, and read them like a writer - to see how the original writer put them together, and deliberately emulate what you thought worked. There are many, many ways to improve writing craft, and if ya’ll want to be published, either with us or with anyone, we strongly encourage you to examine whichever ones appeal to you and work for you.
There’s isn’t a single person who applied who couldn’t, one day, be published by Duck Prints Press.
We were never going to make everyone happy, however much we hate making people sad.
We did our best to make as many people as possible happy, while also doing what we feel to be best for Duck Prints Press.
If we hurt you - we’re sorry. We said in the application process that we’d be giving honest feedback, and we’ve never made a secret of the fact that this is a business and our goal is to publish books that sell - nor did we pretend that we’d be able to take more than 20, but we were so impressed by the quality of what we received that we did everything we could think of to open the doors to more folks, while still maintaining the core integrity of our business model. That means we have to narrow the pool; we can’t just take everyone, especially now, when we’re so small and new. Our desire to take as many people as possible is why anyone who wasn’t in the top 20 got an invite, and why we planned an entire second anthology on the fly, instead of no one below the top 20 getting anything except a rejection letter.
Now, as a final thing - it IS possible we made a mistake. We’ve spotted one big one already, and we’re working with that author to rectify the situation. If you truly believe we made a mistake, please e-mail us, and we can look into it. Our email is info @ duckprintspress dot com.
Sorry this got long - but I figured, if one person wondered this, others too, and as we have since day one - our goal is to be transparent, and so I thought it better to answer more thoroughly rather than less.

I've recently really gotten into your blog and I love how you write Barley, I'm very interested by the NSFW because I didn't expect this much love for him from the community! I wanted to request something NSFW if it's okay :)! I like the concept between fem reader and Barley ending up doing the deed in his van ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (Could I add that during this deed, Barley is very passionate and thorough as well as -not safe sex- 👀?) Thank you for your time, I look forward to your stories, take care! ❤️
Hey guess who totally didn’t forget about this sitting in my drafts 75% finished for a looooong time?!! Sorry
Okay… the nsfw things really take longer for me to come up with… it’s like… difficult for me to come up with something that doesn’t sound like bullet points or has bad pacing…
Aand I could not come up with an opener for this… all I kept thinking of was the premise for the other time there was sexy times in Barley’s van… and I couldn’t do that twice… And i’m not sure what you mean by ‘very passionate’ so hopefully this works…
 Fandom: Onward
Pairing: Barley Lightfoot x Fem reader
Warnings: NSFW! Badly written Smut, Fingering, unsafe sex, some cum talk I guess... kinda upsetting language in the beginning...
❀✦ Master List✦❀
The day was warm and bright, your parents were having their annual summer party,
You were grateful Barley was there to help balance you, as the people invited tended to be a little… much...
Everything was okay for a while… you were able to avoid any uncomfortable discussions by spending a good amount of time in the kitchen ‘helping’ until your parents insisted you ‘join the fun’.
It only took a few minutes before the conversation outside shifted to you...
A great aunt commented that, “you’d be pretty if you dropped the weight…”
A cousin asked when you’re going to get married, and someone responded with something that sounded like “when she gets ‘in trouble’”
Your mother’s friend told you she thought you should date her son instead of that “troublemaker you were dating”.
And then politics…
It was very quickly becoming too much… and you needed out.
-
Barley had been helping your parents and was mostly kept away from the toxicity, until you texted him.
<Hiding in Guinevere :( >
It didn’t take long for the back of the van to open revealing a concerned and slightly amused Barley.
“What happened?” He climbs in, shutting the door behind him.
You’re lying on the floor in the center of Guinevere. Barley joins you, on his side, facing you. His hand brushes some hair from your face.
You huff but give him a quick recap of what happened.
Barley frowns, “Want me to go talk to them? They shouldn’t be saying things like that...”
“No,” you sigh knowing that won't help…
But then a thought wormed its way into your head. You try to hide the smile that flashes across your face as you reach up and pull Barley down to you.
He smiles into the kiss, always happy to kiss you… and he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t missed being affectionate with you throughout the day. You had both decided earlier to keep the ‘lovey stuff’ to a minimum around your family in order to avoid… well… basically what ended up happening anyway…
When he was distracted you shifted your position so you were now on top of him. Barley’s hands instinctively move to your hips, “What are you doing?” he smiles up at you.
You return his smile with a smirk, before rocking your hips against his.
“You know I’m always up for this but your family…” Barley blushes as you tug off your shirt.
It was if you didn’t care if you got caught… or maybe you wanted to… to show those people… something… your feelings were all jumbled at the moment and you’d decided to just go with them. Barley made you feel safe to share those kinds of feelings with. And you wanted him right now! In his van, on the curb, in front of your house.
You lean down to nibble on his neck, whispering breathlessly to him that you don’t care, and “let them be miserable while we’re having fun”
You reach back and quickly remove your bra, tossing it somewhere in the van.
Barley chuckles, “as long as I get to say ‘told you so’ if we get caught.”
“Deal” you lean back into a kiss, yelping when Barley retakes control.
He knows you’re still a little upset by their words, even if you won’t admit it, and Barley was more than happy to take the opportunity to take care of you.
He spends some time worshiping your body with his hands and mouth, sometimes nuzzling you playfully. He breathes soft words into your rapidly heating skin. Telling you how much he loves you, he wants to let you know how much he adores you, and your body.
Eventually he makes his way down to your waistline. Barley winks up at you playfully before pulling off your pants. He leans down and nips at your hip.
You giggle and nudge him with your foot.
He winks again before he works your panties down and off of you. Now you're fully nude in Barley's van… and he's not… You're about to bring it up when he brushes his hand along your slit.
You glare at him, at his cheeky smile, 'cause he knows just what he’s doing. He knows you want him now, and his teasing is not helping satiate that need.
The glare works, and Barley quickly continues, moving up your body to kiss you again. His hand continues to teasingly stroke along your folds, now moving with purpose and not just teasing.
Once he felt you were distracted by the kiss he slips a finger into you, smiling when you moan into his mouth. Before long he adds a second finger,  stretching you, working you the way he knows you like. .
Pulling away slightly, Barley leaves some pecking kisses on your face, "You know I think you're beautiful, right?" He tells you, cheeks flushed.
You bite your lip looking up at him, a little distracted by his fingers inside you. "You're wonderful," you tell him.
"No you," Barley smiles, a little heart eyed. Before you could protest or add anything Barley hooks his fingers inside you unexpectedly, drawing out a surprised moan from you.
He continues his fingering while he leans forward, and begins marking your neck. He wants you to be able to look in the mirror later and know he loves you. You might have said those words didn’t bother you… but Barley wanted to make sure…
Your hands find their way into his hair, knocking his hat off in your haste, and gripping his hair.
Brushing his thumb firmly over your clit he quickly brings you to your first orgasm. Your insides twitching around his thick fingers, eyes shut tight. Barley withdraws and allows you as much time as you need to recover. He just enjoys watching you in bliss, a little proud to be the one responsible for it.
While you’re in your blissful post orgasmic state you find yourself keenly aware of the scents surrounding you. The cinnamon dragon shaped air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror. The obvious musk of sex, and then Barley, above all else you can smell him.
He’d made sure to dress up a little nicer, shave which made you a little sad, and wore the cologne you’d bought him for his birthday last year. The effort he’d put in to make a good impression filled your heart.
How’d I get so lucky? you muse to yourself, hooking a leg around Barley's hip, drawing him closer to you.
With a soft chuckle at your eagerness Barley leans forward, his forehead pressed against yours. “Someone’s eager” he teases, while already undoing his pants.
“If you don't hurry up” you threaten with a hiss, but are unable to keep the smile from your voice while you do it.
With your legs already wrapped around his waist Barley doesn’t have much room to move as he frees his cock from its fabric confins. He was plenty eager, himself, at this point, earlier reservations forgotten. Cock, standing tall, practically pulsing with anticipation. Barley didn’t know what he’d do If they were to be interrupted at this point, but as your hips buck against him all thoughts vanish the young elf’s mind.
He slips inside you with ease, your warmth already soaked from the earlier orgasm. Barley teases a little at first, starting with shallow thrusts, leaving you to chase after him. Your hips lift and tilt, trying to find the right angle to get him deeper, all the while Barley makes sure to keep just far enough away. The game doesn’t last long, however, as Barley soon finds the teasing too tough to take himself.
With a hand on your hip he gives a sudden thrust, pulling you to him at the same time, bottoming out inside you with a whine. His face buried in your neck as he tries to keep his noises to a minimum, grinding against you lazily.
Barley finds himself wondering how this can always feel like the best time… every time… always… but as you clench around him he’s pulled back into the moment.
Drawing back Barley crashes his lips against yours in a brief heated kiss, before beginning a bruising pace.
Your hands grip his arms as your head falls back, overwhelmed in pleasure. You’re rapidly approaching your second orgasm as Barley quickly finds and assaults a spot deep within you. A spot he’d long since learned, will cause you to see stars.
Barley grips your thigh, and wraps an arm around your back, and with little warning he pulls you up and into his lap. From this angle he’s able to thrust up into you while you writhe, and clench above him. He keeps you against him for a bit, staying deep within your warm walls as he focuses on those places inside you again.
It doesn’t take much more before you clench down on him, both on his cock and his neck, as your orgasm crashes upon you.
This time Barley doesn’t allow you to come down from it as he takes your hips in a more solid grip, and begins lifting you again. Dragging your spasming cunt along his cock, he’s barely able to keep a rhythm, overwhelmed by chasing his own pleasure at this point.
Barley repeatedly lets out your name in breathy whimpers. Not that he was really aware he was doing it. All the while you stroke his back, and moan encouragingly in his ear.
Biting down on your shoulder, Barley holds you tightly to him as his own orgasm finally hits. His whole body shudders, as he cums deep within you.
It only takes a moment for you and Barley to realize the mistake you’d made.
“Oops” you look up at him, biting your lip. You can already feel some of his cum leaking out of you around his now softening member.
Once he realizes, however, Barley’s eyes go wide, he quickly begins to apologize.
With a sympathetic smile you nuzzle into him, assuring him that it was okay, mistakes happen, and you’ll just need to stop at the drug store after the party.
“Besides, it’s kinda hot” you tell him with a mischievous smirk, “being around those judgmental people, only you and I knowing why my underwear is all wet”
It seems Barley didn’t know how to react, his ears flushing, a cum drunk smile stretching across his face. He wasn’t sure if he should be embarrassed or turned on, but a tone coming from your pants pulled him back to reality once again.
He watches you pull away from him and scramble to get your phone. His nerves return once he sees your face. You looked like you’d been caught sneaking a cookie.
“What?”
“We should go to the store now” you bite your lip holding out the phone so Barley could see the text from your mother.
<Hope you’re using protection LOL>
“Your mom uses ‘lol’? Barley teases.
You glare at him over your shoulder, already in the process of redressing.
“Okay, okay” Barley chuckles, readjusting his pants, and starting the van “but don’t say I didn’t tell you so.”
Okay that’s all I got…  see you all in another 3 months... Sorry

You came to the set with a bright smile on your face, walking in with a box of sushi in hand and a pair of chopsticks in the other. Greeting the staff members with a bow as you walk towards the makeup room.
Life was starting to look up again.
At least, that's what you thought.
"Alright, the awaited kiss scene is about to happen!" the director announced happily. Jisung choked on his caffeine as you dropped your chopsticks to the floor, frozen in place as you stared at your director with eyes wide with disbelief.
"What?" you and Jisung exclaimed in unison, glancing at the excited director to your managers who were giving you encouraging thumbs up. "Manager-nim, he can't be serious right?" Jisung laughed nervously.
"We haven't even done two episodes!" he continued. "This must be some late April Fools prank, right? I mean, you guys trick us with this too many times! It's not funny!" you gulped, shivering at the thought.
"What? You guys finally haulted your ridiculous arguments so we decided to add more chemistry with the first kissing scene!" the producer laughed as he adjusted his headphones. "Pd-nim!" you and Jisung whined.
"Just because he apologized doesn't mean he stopped being annoying!" you reasoned, pointing at the boy who nodded in agreement. You could hear Jeongin's sinister laughter in the distance, holding his stomach as you both tried to stall time.
"Come on, kids. It's just a kiss, what are you afraid of? Catching feelings?" the script writer laughed, coming over to give you instructions over what to do next. You and Jisung shook your heads aggressively, repeatedly denying.
"You gotta stop dreaming, Sunbae!" you laughed, waving it off nervously. "It's impossible! I would never like a girl who's ego is bigger than their mouth!" Jisung joked, receiving a hard hit on his shoulder by you.
"Ow!" he squeaked, rubbing the side spot as you gave him a death glare. "Then there's nothing to worry bout. It's only gonna last 30 seconds." the script writer huffed at your dramatization. "30 seconds?!" you and Jisung exclaimed in shock.
"Im guessing you two didn't read the stage directions?" your director chuckled. "You always tell us what to do, we stopped reading stage directions on the first day of the shoot back in Busan!" you stammered, your cheeks growing red at the thought of kissing the boy beside you.
"Oh suck it up and get into character. You two knew this was gonna happen sooner or later, don't you?" the stage director rolled her eyes, tapping her fingernail against the table filled with props and scripts impatiently.
You and Jisung nodded after giving out a defeated sigh, walking into the group of students who were giggling and giving the two of your smirks. "Okay, some of you also have to kiss each other okay! Don't go smirking on us!" Jisung exclaimed as he sat down next to Jeongin who was snickering away.
"Whatever, Han. You know you don't need to hide the fact that you actually want to do it." Youngheum smirked. "Yeah, you two are just being dramatic. We all know you're just dying to make out on camera!" Yeji laughed, pushing your flustered self to the girl beside you who laughed along.
"Oh fuck off, would you?" you spat from a distance, giving them a middle finger. "You know you love us, L/N!" Sayori laughed beside you before giving you a dark glare. "Be greatful you're not the one acting as if you swallowed a shot glass of vinegar." she mumbled, making you stiffle a laugh as you pat her back with sympathy.
You knew that the teasing would get even worse once the scene starts. And you don't think you're mentally ready for it. You gulped as the staff adjusting the mics above you and the camera moved their positions so that they would get a better shot.

"Hey what are y'all playing?" you smiled as you sat beside Chaeryong and Yeoreum. "OH, y/n! You're just in time!" Jinhyuck exclaimed with a bright smirk on his face. "We're playing truth or dare!" Chaeryong grinned, leaning an arm on your shoulder.
"Truth or dare? What are we? 13?" you laughed incredulously. "You're just saying that cause you're scared of getting a bad dare," Jisung taunted, his eyes never leaving yours. "Oh hush, you're also a wuss yourself, jackass." you stuck your tongue out teasingly.
"So, you in or not?" Jeongin asked as he layed a hand on his hyung before he could say another word. "Sure. It can't be that bad, right?" you shrugged, leaning back on your arms as you watch the bottle spin in the middle of your big group.
You watch as it went to your Japanese friend, who gulped as the boy who spun gave her a big smirk. He let out a loud "AHA!" before releasing a clap with his hands, rubbing them together sinisterly.
"Hey, don't be so loud, the teachers are gonna wake up at the sound of your obnoxious clapping." your friend snarled, making the boys roll his eyes before looking around as your japanese friend internally prayed to God for mercy.
"Go to the kitchen and gulp down a shot glass of vinegar." he grinned causing your friends to laugh and wave at the poor girl who gave him a look of disbelief. "Fine." she sighed, standing up in defeat to head to the kitchen. "She's gonna be there for a while, moving on!" Youngheum waved it off as we all watch her walk out of the room with her mumbling something along the lines of 'do they even have a shot glass here?'
"Nayeon, your turn!" you exclaimed, attracting your friend's attention from the door. She reluctantly spun the bottle and watched as it stopped on Jinhyuck, who gave out a muffle groan through his palms. "Have mercy." he laughed, putting his hands together to plead.
"Fine, go to Jinyoung sleeping over there and draw over his face with a marker." she smirked mischievously. "I don't have a marker though," Jinhyuck sighed in relief. "I do!" you exclaimed, fishing out a marker from your pocket which made Jinhyuck frown.
"I just finished my banner, thank me later." you smiled innocently as Jinhyuck snatched the marker from your palm with eyes boring into your skull. You and Nayeon shared a subtle high-five as your group snickered at the poor boy who tiptoed over to the sleeping class president who was snuggled up to his pillow.
A few minutes later he came back with a face filled with fear, "he's gonna kill me tomorrow." he shivered. "Don't worry, bro." Jisung giggled, patting the boy's back and rubbing it comfortingly. "I'll make sure we have cake there at your funeral." he laughed.
"I don't like cake and you know it!" he barked back. "Exactly." Jisung winked as we all shared a good laugh.
"Next up is.."

After a few turns, involving you having to drink some concoction consisting a mixture of hot sauce, mustard, tteokbokki sauce (?), wassabi and all mysterious ingredients that aren't suppose to be mixed with, your friends decided to spice up the game a little.
There's a new rule when you pick dare, you're required to choose a partner or have the person who spun the bottle choose the partner for you. Of course, whoever chose truth will be teased for being a pussy therefore everyone was choosing dare.
"Alright, my turn." Youngheum coughed after nonchalantly putting on Lee's boxers around his head like a swimming headcap, spinning the bottle eagerly. The bottle slowly coming to a stop on Jisung who gave a toothy grin.
"Bro, don't do anything harsh." Jisung raised his hands in defeat as Youngheum gave him the look that screams 'I'm gonna ruin this whole man's career'. Youngheum let out an abstract laugh, putting a hand on his chest dramatically.
"You think I'm not gonna use this opportunity to get back on you for ruining my chance with that exchange student?!" he snarled with an evil grin. "Okay, it wasn't my fault that you got in the way of me tripping over a banana peel that caused you to pour that protein shake on the new kid! You were in my way, it's your fault!" Jisung laughed nervously.
"Very funny, Sung." Youngheum rolled his eyes before looking around until his eyes laid on you. "Since I know you won't pick truth to prove that you're not a pussycat, I dare you-" he spoke before Yejin laughed at his choice of words. "Pussycat? What are you? A fucking toddler?!"
"I dare you," he rolled his eyes as he pointed to Jisung then to you. "to go kabedon with Y/n and make out for 30 seconds." Youngheum snickered. "Ooh"s went around the whole group as they smirked at the two of you who stared in disbelief at the boy who was staring with halflidded eyes.
"Youngheum." you spoke nervously, "I never did anything wrong to you right? We're friends aren't we?" you tried to reason as Youngheum gave you an innocent smile along with a peace sign. "Chop, chop you two!" Yejin clapped her hands eagerly.
"Finally something interesting is going down." Marcos sighed as he watched eagerly between the two of you. You stood up to punch the grinning evil demon across the room before you were suddenly pushed gently to the wall by your shoulder by the one and only Jisung.
His face was red as his eyes were on your collarbone as your back met with the wall. You heard squeals from your female friends and cheers from your male friends. "Get some, bro!" you heard Jeongin cheering from the group.
Jisung took a deep breath before leaning his face closer towards you as his forearms came to lean against the wall, trapping your head in between his arms. You could his minty breath coming in contact with your skin.
His face leaning to the side slightly as you felt his nose graze yours softly, his eyes staring into your lips. "You don't have to do this, you know?" Jisung whispered almost inaudibly, his voice going an octave lower as his breath fans against your skin with each word.
His words weren't in the script. But you were too entranced by his eyes staring into yours for permission as you felt an odd feeling in your gut as you tried to stay in character. He looked so serious it's hard to tell if he's actually acting or serious.
"It's alright." you manage to breathe out, you felt your heart increasing with each passing second as your eyes went to Jisung's lips, you could feel your face gradually getting redder as Jisung's half lidded eyes bore into your nervous ones.
"I-" you whispered before you felt something soft meeting your lips, Jisung's lips gently pressed against yours. You felt your heart rate increase in your chest as you pressed your lips back on to his gently.
You heard cheers behind you as your friends rooted for you two to continue, "get some, Sung!" someone said in the midst of the groups whistling and squealing. You were too entranced by the feeling of his body pressing up closer to yours as he leaned his head to the side slightly to get a better angle.
His lips breaking part with yours for half a second before pressing again. Your hands unconciously went up, one hand clutching his baggy shirt and the other going up to run your fingers over his messy locks.
The kiss stayed innocent, staying as small longing pecks but never deepening. Your hand that was in his hair moved to his cheek, slowly moving down the side of his neck. Just when you were about to deepen the kiss you felt Jisung being tugged away from you.
Jinhyuck laughing at the both of you, his hand clutching onto the shirt on Jisung's shoulder as he pulled away from you. "Stay pg 13 guys, 30 seconds are up. You can get back to sucking each others faces off later, we're still here!" he laughed.
You were panting for breath as Jisung didn't gave you a time to breathe during his kisses, you were sure your face was as red as his as he was staring into your flustered form as he tried to regain himself.
You watched as Jisung subtly licked his lips as you both have eachother a small smile, blush still adorning on your cheeks. "Alright love birds, you can fuck when we're not around. In a meantime, pick your next victim, Sung." Nayeon joked, eliciting a complain from you.
As you scolded Nayeon, you didn't notice Jisung running a hand through his hair which was now messy from you running your fingers through it as he licked his lips once again. His heart beating erratically against his chest as Jinhyuck walked over to the group.
He wasn't in the shot but he still couldn't help admit to himself that he wouldn't mind kissing you again for the next few shoots.

I have a loaded question for you, and I know you might have an answer and you might not. I just wanted your opinion, please. Is it possible that someone can be 'turned off,' that is, unable to contact spirits/ancestors/etc? Is it possible that a path like this just isnt meant for everyone? I've been trying to hone my craft for a couple years now, but I'm 27 and I fear I'm losing time. I'm scattered and inconsistent, but not enough to be blatantly denied by the spirits. Is it my fear? Thank you
This is an incredibly hard question, you were right. There’s a lot to say here, I think so there’s a “read more.”
Firstly, there’s no doubt that some people have an easier time feeling/hearing/contacting spirits and ancestors. Some seem to have an innate talent for it while others may have to work a bit harder to get that bit of contact. However, I do not believe that there are people who simply cannot accomplish it or are blocked or ‘turned off’ as you say. There’s nothing wrong with you and you aren’t closed off or not suited for your path (your talents may lie in other areas but that doesn’t mean that you should give up on what you’re attempting).
Secondly, while 27 can feel too close to 30 for comfort, your craft is a life long project that will change and grow (and perhaps even seem absent at times) throughout your life. You’ve time and time to try and fail and research and change approaches and try again and succeed and fail again - the point here is that I’d hate for you to feel like this momentary slump is the death knell for your practice especially because, from your ask alone, I can tell that there’s a genuine desire to try and an honest love of your craft - never lose those.
Thirdly, there are all sorts of things that can get in the way of our connections with our beloved dead. You mention fear and I do think that doubt and fear can block you in some ways - if you have laid out your offerings and called your dead to you and are going to practice automatic writing, but you are doubtful and fearful and you can’t get out of your own head and you refuse to allow any spirits to write through you then the whole experiment might seem like a failure. Similarly, I think that being too much in your head about it can mess you up just because you can be too busy interpreting and looking that you maybe aren’t being receptive. Another potential obstacle that doesn’t get talked about a lot is that if you’re determined to reach out to your ancestors for help with your craft, but your ancestors were all strictly religious and opposed to witchcraft then hearing no response should come as no surprise. We honor ancestors and dead relatives with offerings and places of importance in our homes and we ask them to aid us in our life, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll want to interact with our practice or that they will or can help with it - if you feel ignored by the spirits that you’re reaching out to then it might be a good idea to try a different set. If your blood relatives have turned up nothing then perhaps call on the spirits of past witches or friends or others that might be more willing to come through.
Finally, here is my advice: take a break, work some other magic, clear your head, and try again. When you try again there are some options and I think any of these should get you something.
For calling on ancestors: put out pictures and items of those you hope to contact (or things that remind you of them) and set out offerings of food and drink that they might like - the dead also tend to like tobacco and the smoke of incense or cigars but that’s perhaps not universal. If you know where their graves are then go to the grave and sit with it, clean it up, leave something, ask permission, and take a bit of dirt from near their head and take it home with you to set out with their picture and offerings (add just a spot of your blood to the grave and to the offerings at home to add some strength). Honor them and feed them for a week or two and talk with them about wanting to hear from them, to make contact, to connect, to get help, etc. Don’t bother with looking for signs during this time or doing anything more than being open to your family members and respectful and loving. You should start to see signs of them in small ways - pictures falling off of walls, items missing or returned, etc. then you can try divination to speak with them (pendulum is easiest, scrying is useful but can take time and the ability to enter a trance state, tarot and automatic writing can be difficult to interpret). If you’re having trouble with one type of divination then try another, work on meditation, work on going into trance and channeling thoughts freely without interpreting or interrupting yourself (drink, use flying ointment, or smoke weed if you need to at first but don’t be reliant on substances to induce trance). You might also try to host a supper for the dead or a dumb supper to invite them fully into your home - make sure to open the doors and windows and take down any spirit traps or salt barriers you might have up if you want the dead in your house.
For any spirits that are not relatives you can go to the cemetery and pick up some dirt like I explained above and call the person to you. You can walk the perimeter of a graveyard at night no less than nine and nine times while winding black thread or counting a rosary backwards and ask for spirits to make themselves known to you. You can go into the woods and ring a bell or clap three times and call out for a spirit to come to you in order to help with something specific, bury some pieces of your hair, and clap or ring again when finished and say that you’ll be waiting (be sure to remember where you buried your hair to dig up later if needed). You can go into the woods at night and draw a circle around yourself and lie or sit on the ground. Call spirits to you and ask them what you want to ask of them. Wait and let any fear help to guide you into a kind of meditation. This one takes time but you should see and hear signs of spirits as you wait within your circle. And if you’re in desperate need of help with something, you can go into the woods or to a crossroads or to a cemetery and bury a knot of your hair and place three drops of your blood on the spot where you’ve buried it and proclaim the terms of your deal.
Lastly (for real this time), your practice does not need to involve spirits right now if that’s something that is proving difficult for you. You can still cast spells, draw in money and opportunities and friends and happiness all without calling on or involving spirits. You can still honor the passing seasons and work magic and do all of those things without drawing on the dead or on deities or entities - it’s okay for your practice to exist for a while without any spirit work and you can have a successful craft just focusing on things that you need at the moment and things that are still fulfilling for you without spirits right now.

Reposting this to announce that I’m now writing and drawing these family shenanigans for A03: Here!
-
“Look!” was the loud exclamation the detectives of the Nine Nine just before they saw the enthusiastic youthful (and radiating rainbows from her favorite light-up sneakers) blur, also known as Dolly, rush into the bullpen. She was carrying a laminated list and had a smile reminiscent of Jake as her eyes found Gina and Rosa and she raced up to them, holding it up for them to see. “Auntie Amy let me use her laminating machine for my Shark Watchlist!”
‘Auntie’ Amy and Uncle Jake came up behind her and watched their niece present her project to her favorite detective and assistant administrator.
It was a list of all the shark related movies that Dolly has watched, which had increased since the pair had taken her into their lives. Jake enjoyed helping her finish her homework as quickly as possible so the two could bundle on the couch, eat a bunch of sour gummy fish and watch the likes of Jaws, The Shallows and definitely Sharknado. Amy always came home and suggested a documentary to balance things out, which luckily Dolly enjoyed just as much and Amy found her love for learning about sharks fascinating and adorable.
Also adorable, the way Dolly held up her finger and explained to Rosa, “I’ve made a list of my favorite shark movies arranged by educational value and how cool the sharks are!"
Jake and Amy both watched the corners of Rosa's lips twitch up as she looked at her, "Nice work kid," and then those eyes turned to the pair behind her, "I bet I can guess where she got each of those categories from."
Each of them spoke, which blended together into an excited pile, "I helped her draw the freshest sharks from each movie we spent two hours on them!"+"She's so smart and she insisted on using different ocean colored highlighters!"
Gina groaned, "Oh my god Jake, you've got to let me save Dolly from a life of binders and caring about highlighters. Next thing she'll be wearing pantsuits and then she'll be beyond even my skills. And that says a lot since it's me we're talking about." Amy pouted a bit though Jake knew her well enough to see that Gina also had a kind smile for Dolly behind her comment and he laughed, wrapping his arm around Amy and a hand on the child's shoulder.
"If she ends up wearing pantsuits I'm sure she'll look dope," Jake reassured, planting a kiss on Amy's head before petting the top of Dolly's, "Why don't you go show Grandpa Ray your list Doll," then he added, more for the adults than her, "He'd like to see that Amy's having some kind of effect on her upbringing."
Dolly knocked on the door to his office and was let in and they could hear her excited tone as she spoke to the Captain, though the words were obscured by the barrier.
"So, what exactly are you two doing with her?" asked Rosa suddenly, not one to beat around the bush and Gina cut in, never one to miss an opportunity to tease Amy, "So what's it like to be a mom when you've never even done it before?"
Jake cut in with an impulsive, "We do it plenty! Horizontal romantic stylez!"
Amy would have let out an embarrassed "Jake!" and given him a swat and warning glare to stop talking about their private horizontal fun in front of their friends, if her brain wasn't fixed on the 'm' word... was that what they were becoming - parents?
Was she mothering the weird, adorable girl with a smile so much like Jake's and was learning to hug like him too, who loved sharks, sneakers and sour gummy fish and also making lists, highlighters that looked like the ocean and waving laminated documents around so they could make a loud 'clik-clack' sound... was she ready to do that?
It was one thing to watch her, to take her to school and let her stay with them, it was another thing entirely to be a mother - then her brain was brought back from her train of thought by echoing what Jake said a moment earlier and she did what she should have done then - placing thoughts of motherhood in the back of her mind, filing it for later.
He was both amused and apologetic as he exaggeratedly rubbed the spot on his arm where she swatted him, saying with a laugh, "Sorry Ames, at least Dolly didn't hear me though!"
"Pft. Or Charles." Gina made sure to add with a smirk before going back to her important filing task (her nails).
Jake and Amy exchanged a glance. If Charles heard any ideas of parenthood and adoption they would never get anything done ever again.

As a psychic medium, I’m accustomed to dealing with entities and although there are a lot of people out there professing you can clear spirits and entities with sage and/or intent, the trust his that some things are more difficult to get rid of. Removing difficult dark entities or energy can be done by following steps I've discovered over the years based on how energy reacts and interacts. Please note that some "hauntings" are actually manifestations of psychic abilities that have not been acknowledged and controlled. If your own psychic energy is causing the activity then you’ll need to get that under control to stop the issues. For those situations please see my upcoming posts on psychic abilities. For those dealing with an actual haunting or entity attachment, these steps will clear it out of your house. Before you begin going through the steps, I recommend a mini-fasting exercise prior to the final clearing phase. It's a way to be mindful of the upcoming exercise. You may choose to give up chocolate for a day. You might opt to skip a meal. Maybe you avoid caffeine or alcohol for some time period leading up to your clearing. Remember that you need your energy for the decluttering and cleaning part, so don't do a full day fast before a big cleaning day. Use good judgement.
Read through all of the steps before beginning. A supply list is at the bottom of the instructions.
Step 1: Clear your home of clutter. When negative energy is stuck in our homes, that "stuck" feeling that's vibrating throughout may emerge as some tendencies toward hoarding. Clear out the clutter. You have more than you think you do. As you let go of things, pick them up with a feeling of gratitude. In your heart you can be thankful for what that item contributed and release it from your life. Send it away with a joyful heart in hopes that it might inspire joy elsewhere. If it's an item that has a very negative feeling attached to it, it's a good idea to dispose of it instead of donating.
Step 2: Joyfully clean your house. You have just done a great job clearing out clutter and now it's time to get dust, dirt, and grime out of your life. While cleaning with a smile on your face may not be your modus operandi, in this case it's important. Take a moment to appreciate the things you are cleaning. You're cleaning them because they are important to you. They either serve a function and purpose in your life, of they bring you joy. Treat them as such. You are clearing away negativing, and part of the process is learning to express positivity.
Step 3: Clean your body. Take time after decluttering, cleaning, and hopefully mini-fasting to take a shower or a nice bath. There's a visualization practice I recommend during your bath. If you're from a religious affiliation that practices baptism, you can visualize it as a baptism. I generally visualize the water washing over my body's energy field (biofield or aura), washing away any residual negativity that may be sticking around.
Step 4: Prepare your supplies. You can opt to use only white sage in your clearing (directions for use below), but I'm providing you details for an expanded tool kit for clearing. There are four commonly recognized spiritual elements (Earth, Air, Water, and Fire) that are most frequently recognized today within the new age spiritual movement. In reality, these elements were acknowledged in early Christianity as well and were notably mentioned by St. Francis of Assisi, and by earlier religions all over the world. Sage and Palo Santo Wood represent two of those components (fire and air- smoke). For a bundle of sage, you light the end, let it burn for 10-12 seconds, and then blow it out. It will smoke for quite a while after you blow it out. Palo Santo is a piece of wood. It's commonly referred to as holy wood. That you light at one end (like with the sage) but you let it burn for one minute before blowing it out. In either case, there is a cleansing smoke that is released from the embers of the dried leaf or wood. I use a feather to fan the smoke into corners and tight spaces and feathers also represent air. I also use either holy water or fresh water (rain, river, stream) and I use natural sea salt (no iodine added) for earth. I gather the materials and pray for help and guidance in clearing away the negativity and any spirits or non-corporeal entities that may be present. If prayer isn't something you're comfortable with, you can simply visualize filling each of the instruments in front of you with loving white light. If you don't know what to say for the prayer, I recommend something along these lines. "God, you know the torment we each face in our lives. Today I humbly ask for your help to purify my home. I wish for only love and light to linger in these rooms. Please send your guardian angels to protect me as I work to cast out anything unholy. Please bless this sage and this Palo Santo wood as it burns. Please allow the smoke to purify our home. Please bless this water sent from heaven and use it to wash away the stains of darkness. Please bless this salt from our blessed planet Earth and use it to ground and purify me, my family, and all that pass through these doors in our faith and belief in your power. Please bless my feet, that they will know where to go. Bless my heart, that it will know what is true. Bless my hands that they be used to do your will. Bless my throat that I know what to say. Bless my eyes that they may appreciate all that you have created. Bless my mind that I may trust in you. Thank you for you love and guidance. Amen."
Step 5: Plan your path. Start by opening your windows. If you have an older home with windows painted shut, you can open the doors instead. We're going to go room by room smoking out the dark energy, so take your time and be thorough. You want to always allow the energy or entity a way out. I'll address what to do if you accidentally smoke it into a corner later. If your home is one single story, start just to the left of your front door and work counterclockwise through your home. If it is multi-story do below ground (basement) first, then work from the highest floor down toward the front door. For each room you will move counterclockwise through the room and you will use the feather to fan smoke into every single corner and crevice. Open every closet, every drawer, every cabinet. Dark energy and entities are repulsed by the smell and the smoke. You've put a lot of work into this so far, so don't cut corners. The next few steps will be completed in each room as you move through your home.
Step 6: Sage your rooms. As you move through your home, use the feather or your breath to move smoke from the white sage into each corner. If you have particularly difficult to clear out stuck energy you can use sound to help you. Play inspiring music as you sage or ring a bell or clap in areas where energy gets stuck. Energy gets stuck in closets, corners, and under beds. Anyplace with very little movement is going to tend to get stuck energy. So, sage (counterclockwise starting to the left of the door) throughout the room finishing at the door. This will move any entity or negative energy out of the room. You have just cleared the room with fire and air.
Step 7: Bless or anoint your room with holy water. Add your sea salt to the rainwater (both of which have been blessed by your prayer or your intent). Dip your fingers into the now salty rainwater and flick it into each corner of the room. If you would like, you can also draw a cross on your door or over your doorway. You have just blessed the room with water and earth.
Step 8: Fill your room with love. You've just removed clutter, cleaned, cleared, and blessed your room. Now as you walk out of the room, turn back to it, smile, and imagine refilling that room with love. Imagine the joy that will take place there. You are mentally establishing and evoking something very special. Either out loud or in your mind, give thanks for all the help you received in making that room safe.
Step 9: Repeat steps 6-8 in each room of the house (including closets), as well as the garage and the attic if feasible. In the event you feel you have missed a spot and now you've saged all the rooms that's ok. Use your hands to draw an imaginary window in the air. In your mind, open that window and allow any remaining energy an opportunity to leave. Chances are, this is completely unnecessary, but I've found that some people prefer to cover it just in case.
Step 10: Use Palo Santo to put an added shield around your home. Now you've cleared out the negative energy and entities. Your home is a clean slate. Using Palo Santo raises the vibration to a light happy place. Palo Santo also acts as a shield or cloak. Once the entities are out of the house, the Sage makes it where they will not want to come back in. Palo Santo makes it so that it's hard for them to even FIND you.
Now that you've cleared out the negative energy, it's important to keep it out and to address any personal trauma that may attract dark entities and to put a protective shield around your home. You can design, program, and activate your own crystal grid or I will be glad to design one for you. Visit www.YourSilverPsychic.com for more advice or to order a protection grid or clearing supplies for your home (coming soon), to schedule a reading, or get free tips (see my website blog).
Supplies: Large bundle of white sage, 1 stick of palo santo wood, about 1 cup of rainwater or creek/river water, about 1 teaspoon of sea salt (natural/not iodized), and 1 large feather (optional)
