I dunno if there's a community consensus on the topic of why Azami made the Snake of Opening Eyes when Ene can seemingly only use it to jump around the internet and electronics and back into her own body, since there's no tech in Azami's time that could do that. I had heard it posited that maybe she could astral project, but after reading the light novel I think Opening Eyes might have been like her first ever power beyond Clearing Eyes. Cause, like, she could travel around and see the world, but she didn't have a physical form or any presence, since everything just ignored her. She only gained a body with Awakening Eyes when she looked into the river and thought about it, growing her own eyes and, I guess, turning off Opening for the rest of her life. Kinda funny, actually.

listen to me. if youre an adult you have the ability to be an unfathomably kind influence on a child. i had a good teacher who let me break down in the hallway for the whole period because he noticed me crying in class, and before that he complimented my writing skills and encouraged me to persue writing. and man ill never forget that teacher as long as i live for even the miniscule acts of kindness. be kind to kids. you never know whats going on that you cant see.

learned something about myself lately

#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just #really like tails and wish i had one myself #and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails #my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly #something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me.. #maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent #so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design #head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later #if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl #when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount #yapping

do you understand what it means to be in a position where you’ve been displaced time and time again, just to get to the only supposed safe area that you have been ordered to go to by a force that’s so much stronger than you as an unarmed civilian, just to be told that you can’t be there anymore ? and that is after you have lost everything, like your home, your memories, your friends, family members and loved ones, your job, and everything that you’ve worked so hard in order to achieve…

The more than 1 million civilians that are now displaced in Rafah have NOWHERE TO GO.

And if you’re thinking “Why don’t they just go across the border to Egypt ?” …

well first of all, these people are indigenous to Gaza and to Palestine and if you think it’s that easy to leave your homeland then you’re wrong, and especially at such a time where the occupation’s forces would be delighted to see all of these Gazans move to Egypt, that only makes the Gazans want to stay even more, even if that means they’d lose their life inside this homeland.

and second of all, Egypt doesn’t allow Gazans to cross the border that easily, first they’d need to provide the evacuation costs which could get up to 10,000 $ per person, and then they’d have to sign a shit ton of papers and get on a waiting list, which is a situation that they could be stuck in, and unfortunately lose their lives in Gaza due to bombing while their turn to evacuate is still so far away on that waiting list.

So protest, boycott, call for a ceasefire, donate, share news, call your reps, scream and shout for the liberation of the Palestinians and do anything in your ability to stop this atrocity… so that tomorrow when the future generations ask you about what you did to stop a live and ongoing genocide, you’d at least have one good thing to say.

Don’t look away when a genocide is happening.
