PAC-MAN ghost redesigns I did as part of writing a reboot concept for the series… right before Namco announced a remake of the first PAC-MAN World! Like literally within the week! That was wild.

Anyways, I had fun. I based the main four off of a scrapped redesign Namco did but with my own extra cartoonish spin. And I created this version of Orson (the antagonist from World 1/3) by fusing him with “Kinky” from Arrangement. The idea was that the main four were each commanders of their own ghost armies, which all looked like their arcade counterparts. Meanwhile Orson is the pushover wimp that does all the behind the scenes work, but is secretly plotting to usurp them as King of the Ghosts.

PMATGA: Orson

His personality is a stark contrast to canon- he's like Dr Flug from Villainous in the sense that he's cowardly and nervous, but at the same time cruel and sinister. He's also Buttocks' lab assistant/apprentice.

His greatest feat was constructing a Mecha known as "Toc Man" to unalive poor Pac. Of course he failed.

He and Buttocks certainly don't always get along, but they do have some degree of mutual respect for each other.

Eventually I wanna tackle a comic on Pac-Man world with my take on Pac-Man and friends- right now there here's a comic with one of a few ideas for the catalyst.

(Too many pages so read the rest of the comic under the break!)

I have a couple more different ways to go about it, but I'll save those for another time. Something that was fun with this was showing bits of worldbuilding in the castle (portraits of Spooky), I have to do a proper lore post at some point.
