Oh! It's the anniversary of the time I met Panic! At the Disco when we were all teenagers and they opened for The Academy Is... at a local venue in my hometown.

I invited them to get pancakes with me and my friends after the show. Because the sad theatre kid in me recognized the sad theatre kid in Ryan and I guess I thought maybe they would like something normal?

Brendan was like, "We have to go to a party after the show, but thanks," and then Ryan signed absolutely everything I had with me and was like "I really wish we could get pancakes with you. That sounds like a lot more fun than another party."

Also: I have never, in my entire life, smelled anyone who smells as good as Spencer Smith, even when he is sweaty from playing a show. I asked him for a hug and he was like "are you sure?" and I was like "bring it in, dude!" and then I was like I'm pretty sure this is heaven.
