There are cameras everywhere, a resounding click of the shutter one after another. Oh, and there's a lot of the color red present in the studio.

People are scattered all over the spacious room that you almost feel small as if every single thing and person in sight is intimidating you. And you're not going to lie, they surely do.

Frankly, if it weren't for your manager who's standing beside you, you might've immediately turned on your heel and walked your way back to the glass doors that you entered earlier, a minute just after arriving at the studio and finding how large of a scale this project actually is. Oh, to be back outside where you didn't feel suffocated and where you couldn't feel anybody's eyes on you.

"What would you do if I backed out…?" You tentatively asked your manager in a low voice, making sure that you were the only ones who could hear it.

You know that she heard you, but still, her eyes remained at the center of the room, where all the cameras are pointed at, and where all of the people's attention are currently drawn to.

"Where'd your previous confidence go? I don't remember seeing this hesitance of yours when I first suggested this project." Your manager replies, eyes still not leaving the subject of everyone's attention.

Because standing and posing effortlessly in the middle of everything is Choi San.

The renowned model, Choi San, whose face and body is probably the cover of every magazine you can think of, and who's dominated all the fashion shows you could only dream of attending, this year alone.

He's the king of the fashion and modeling industry, someone who is highly sought-after by every famous designer that you could possibly name at the top of your head. Choi San is a crowd favorite, he practically owns the runway, and he's a total icon to many—the young and the old, the rookies and the veterans.

And not to mention, he's your role model. Someone who you really look up to and perhaps, someone who you wanted to work with.

Right now, you're about minutes into turning that dream into reality, thanks to your manager and your incredibly impulsive self.

"Your thoughts are so loud, I could practically hear it." Your manager suddenly speaks, cutting through your abysmal thoughts. And then she turns to you, jabbing a finger right at your chest and saying, "But there's no way in hell that I'm letting you back out because, first of all, you'll be working with a supermodel, and second, hello?!" She exclaims the last part in a hushed voice with matching wide gestures, that you visibly flinch. However, it seemed like she couldn't care less because she cups your face and turns your head towards the side of the room where a stunning man dressed in an expensive sparkly black suit with a diamond logo on the tie, stood.

"You'll be wearing his creation! The Damian Luxe!" She squeals near your ear, and you grimace, because she is loud, alright.

Damian Luxe is the owner of one of the biggest and leading fashion brands ever known all over the world—Luxe Looks. And right now, you still can't quite believe how he's just a few steps away from you, seemingly engrossed in a conversation with one of the photographers.

You're not sure how he ended up picking you out of all the models out there. Somehow picking you alongside one of the top iconic faces of the fashion industry, to serve as his muses for his newest fashion collection, which is set to be released and made known to the public in less than a month. The pressure that is placed on you is quite heavy since it's just your second year into this modeling career.

And it is a sudden twist and turn from your usual looks and gigs. From being known as a model who has summer vibes, cute, and freshness up their alley, to starring in an intimate and quite sensual photoshoot in honor of Luxe's brand new and bold fashion collection entitled, Pleasures of the Heart.

"Believe me, I was overjoyed when you first told me about it. But really? You didn't even bother telling me that I'll be partnered up with Choi San? The Choi San?" You put quite an emphasis on the word 'the' in order to get your point across and make your manager realize your current dilemma at hand.

Because knowing you? There's a ninety-five percent of you messing this up because of your clumsy ass, the remaining five percent will be you fainting, by the way.

Oh god, you can't possibly do this right?

What if you embarrass yourself in front of him? Would you be able to live with that memory for the rest of your life?

You think not.

However, you weren't even given that much choice when one of the stylists arrives and steals you away from the comfort of your manager's side in order for you to get dolled up and ready for your photoshoot with Choi San.

Here's to fucking it up, I guess, you think, heaving a sigh as you followed the stylist in one of the rooms.

You don't think that Choi San is actually real.

Heck, you didn't even think that someone could possibly make blowing bubble gum as something sexy.

Shivers ran down your spine and goosebumps littered your skin as you watched Choi San angle his face and send sultry looks to every camera pointing at him. If you were confident enough, you might've jumped him already, popping that bubble gum in his mouth and licking it off his lips right after.

Wait what-

You frantically shook your head. Is this what Choi San's alluring effect feels like? Because if it is, then you're so fucked.

Your manager and the stylist earlier, told you that there'll be some duo shots so that means, yes, touching will be involved.

When they first told you that, you weren't sure if you'll be able to pull it off because one, Choi San, is incredibly gorgeous. And two, he's only donned in a coat and pants, and no undershirt in sight! Which leaves a portion of his abs in display for anyone's eyes to feast on—not like you're feasting on them or anything.

You gulp.

Is it really too late to back out?

Moments later, you begin internally thanking the heavens, when Choi San's individual shoot has come to an end and he's called back by one of the stylists for a wardrobe change. Which you think will be in match with the pitch black bodysuit you're currently wearing underneath your robe. The robe isn't part of the look at all, you simply have it on for now because you aren't that confident yet. You honestly think you'll never be but maybe you'll be fine since the stylist said you'll still have one piece to wear later.

A red overcoat to match the red stilettos your feet is currently clad in.

One of the staff tapped you on the shoulder and led you closer to the center, saying that you'll be starting the duo shots in a few minutes.

The staff said it with a sweet smile that you have no choice but to smile back as well even if your insides were already churning and you're starting to break into a cold sweat.

You were in the middle of doing a breathe in and breathe out exercise in order to relax your nerves for a little bit, when you suddenly felt another tap on your shoulder. Thinking that it was probably one of the staff or stylists again, you turned around, only to be met with a pair of deep black cat-like eyes and a dimpled smile.

It was freaking Choi San.

"Nervous?" His voice was a clear rasp. Your knees growing weak at the sight of him in a sheer black tank top, which showed how buff he really was, and the same pants as earlier. His hair is still slick-backed with a few gelled-strands hanging against his forehead. A black biker glasses snugly sitting on top of his head served as his only accessory.

God, he's breathtakingly gorgeous being so close to you like this.

"U-Uh, yes, very, Mr. Choi."

Well done! You just stuttered in front of Choi San. But who wouldn't?

To your surprise, loud laughter comes out from his lips. His pink plump lip—oh would you please snap out of it?!

"Mr. Choi? Oh my, just call me San!" He chuckles. "You're Y/N, right?" He asks, a few moments after, and it prompts you to nod your head.

"You're a pretty little thing aren't you?" San says this so casually that it catches you so off guard, you choke on nothing.

While you're busy trying to re-organize yourself and your breathing, San makes it a mission to further turn you into a flustered mess as he gently pulls you by the waist. Then he leans in, mouth dangerously close to your ear and whispers the words that will certainly haunt your insides for the rest of the time that you'll be stuck in his presence.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of you, pretty."

You and San have been receiving praises from left and right ever since the shoot started. You even heard from the head photographer that you two surprisingly share quite a chemistry in front of the cameras even though it's only your first time pairing up together.

Although, you do admit that you've had your awkward moments prior because, first, it is your first intimate photoshoot, second, your outfit is so far the most revealing you've ever worn despite the overcoat you're wearing, and third, San was very close. Too close.

But it's not like you're complaining anyway. In fact, you think you might be enjoying it a little too much than what you've anticipated. And, you just hope it's not noticeable to him or you'd die of embarrassment as soon as you step out of the studio.

Anyway, you felt every exhale that San had made in the past half hour, and it's very ticklish. But you also felt quite feverish with the way his rough hands seemed scalding hot against your skin, despite his touches and hold on you being gentle.

San was nothing but sweet and kind as he gently coaxed you out of your shell, always guiding you with every pose and expression. Because of him, you're starting to get more comfortable with the theme of the set and the overwhelming attention being poured on you two.

But of course, another challenge was bound to appear and send your mind into a haywire.

"Perfect! Now, let's have you sit on top of San." The head photographer suddenly instructs. "But first, I want you to sit on the floor, San." He adds.

All the while San's following the photographer's direction, you're left frozen, standing on the side, not quite sure if you heard the photographer right.

By the time you've snapped out of your thoughts and you're back to your senses, San's already sitting on the floor with his legs slightly spread out, his arms are kind of spread out as well with his palms completely flat on the floor, and he's slightly leaning back with his toned arms supporting his upper body's weight.

And he's looking at you. Looking at you with an expression you can't exactly figure out.

Before the photographer could even call your name and give you instructions as well, San's already beckoning you over with his index finger.

As if entranced, you walk towards him without any word. And when San told you that you should take off your overcoat, you followed him, dropping the piece of clothing to the floor. Then, when San told you to straddle his lap, you did it without any fuss despite your visible shaking which you're certain that he noticed because he's leaning towards you again.

"I got you, pretty. Didn't I say I'll take care of you, hmm?" San whispers against the shell of your ear. "You'll let me take care of you, right?" He asks when he still gets no response from you.

Inhaling deeply, albeit shakily, you nod your head.

Still not shying away from the close proximity, your breath hitches when San's hands come to wrap around your waist, one of them caresses your side, slightly making you jolt at the suddenness of the action.

"Words, pretty. I need words." San hums.

"Y-Yes. I'll let you take care of me."

"Good girl," He purrs and playfully bites your ear lobe, which, again, sent you lightly trembling as you felt the heat which started to creep its way from your lower abdomen and up to your face.

"Now, I want you to only look at me, alright? Can you do that for me?" San asks, thankfully, now with enough gap between the two of you, enabling you to breathe more easily.

"Yeah, I can do that." You reply and this makes San smile, dimples adorning his face once again.

San shifts underneath you for a bit, his palms at the small of your back. He adjusts your position on top of him and then his hands leave you as he goes back to leaning, but this time, with his hands much further back than before. This subtle change enables him to look up at your face more comfortably.

San instructs you to put your hands on his chest instead of being on top of his shoulders as what the photographer has instructed for you to do. And then, he retracts his right hand from the floor and puts it back on your waist instead.

And just like that it has the photographer screaming delightedly the word, "Excellent!"

"Excellent," San mimics in a soft voice, tongue darting out to lick his own lips, all the while his eyes never left yours. And you reckon, yours didn't leave him as well throughout the entirety of the photoshoot.

Well, after having him this close and looking so out-of-this-world while under you, where you can basically see every twitch of his eyebrows, every contraction of his arm muscles, and every bob of his adam's apple, with his attention all on you and you alone the whole time…you're quite not sure if you'll be able to take your eyes off of him ever again.

If this is how it feels to be under Choi San's alluring gaze, then, oh, you're so fucked, because there seems to be no possible escape, at all.

Hi anon! The deluge of Suspect R asks startled the shit out of me but it's okay because I love her. I decided to combine these two requests because otherwise the one about Chief reacting to Suspect R's fashion would've been reaaaaally short. I hope that we see more of Suspect R in act two of the story, I'm begging for crumbs... It's been over an in-game year since we saw her! And I'm pretty sure it's also been around that much time irl too. Aisno is edging us. I need to know what she knows about us! She acts way too much like our ex-wife! Clearly she knows us and she speaks of us fondly, who were we to her?!

Suspect R and F!Chief reacting to each other's fashion

The Bureau uniform is what Suspect R is used to, of course. She doesn't think much of it, beyond what she thinks of Chief herself: that she's absolutely stunning no matter what she wears. R longs to run her fingers through Chief's hair… and of course, she would've gotten Chief some clothes more to her taste if she'd managed to scoop her up and whisk her away. She also finds the jacket cute – and she has no room to talk about wearing your jacket properly. She thinks it's a way in which they match, which she likes.

The Stalker attire just adds a hood and cloak, but R thinks Chief wears it extremely well. If she could, she'd love to tease about how she looks like a “true Syndican” now.

R is more enamored by the story behind the Passage of Time attire than the outfit itself. She thinks the colors and patterns look nice on the Chief, but what truly makes it shine to her is Chief's interactions with OwO. She also thinks the braid looks very nice. Overall, it's a bit of a different look to what she's used to from the Chief, but she likes it anyway.

She thinks the Traveler attire is adorable. She honestly can't pick a favorite part about it because her eyes are too busy roaming everywhere, though she definitely appreciates the good view of Chief's legs. This is a strong competitor for her favorite outfit, because she thinks it brings out Chief's heroic spirit and kind heart by the vibes of it, which is by far her favorite aspect of the Chief.

Her reaction to Nightfall Soiree can be summarized as “lol cute.” She prefers seeing Chief in blue – not that she's biased or anything – but she admits the red is a good look on Chief. It's bolder than what is standard for the Chief, and she thinks her fluffy curls look adorable. It's an easy contender for her top three.

Her thoughts on the upcoming attire is that she wants to pull on Chief's ponyta– ahem. She's a big fan of the subtle touches of red against the black and white. While her bias is definitely Chief in dresses, she's a big fan of looks like these as well – she prefers it to Passage of Time, as far as celebrating the Chinese New Year goes. Once again, she feels like this outfit brings out her beloved Chief's heroic spirit.

As for Chief…

When you awaken with amnesia, you don't expect your first sight to be… anything at all, really. But if Chief did have expectations, Suspect R and her appearance would've been low on the list.

It actually took a moment for Chief to take note of R's fashion, held spellbound by the striking glow of her eyes – but when she did tear her gaze away, her heart did a flip in her chest and she had to swallow as her mouth suddenly felt drier than a desert.

R was stunning, simply stunning. Her blonde hair cascading over perfect shoulders, slender fingers tracing over Chief's cheek, breath hot on her face…

Oh, and it didn't help that her top, uh… left little to the imagination. A physical one was not the only awakening Chief went through in that moment; if Nightingale hadn't showed up, Suspect R would've probably succeeded in whisking her away.

When Chief finally gets to see R's alternate outfit, she'll be stunned as always. It's not something she'd ever imagine R wearing, but she can't deny that R looks amazing – and white has always been a good color on her.

Still, Chief prefers Rebecca's more casual outfit – if you can call it that. Her fancier outfit feels like it loses some of R's spirit, the spark that draws Chief to her in the first place – making her look like any other rich Eastside (or Paradeisos…?) lady.

I het you and I think artists can feel a little ungrateful sometimes because of how one hate comment can do more than one good one. sometimes it is like that but, at least for me, the support is positively overwhelming and keeps me going on here. for me this is not something that could be thrown over by hate quickly but it won't be the case for everyone. The next part should be out this week! My laptop was out for repairs basically since I posted the last part, so my writing process has been slowed. I've literally been writing with pen and paper.

(That's actually been very conducive to writing the Aemond diary pieces tbh)

But now, my laptop is returned and fully functional again! So I just have to type up everything in my journal and add some of the in-between bits and viola!

Studious III Sneak Peak

The 16th day in the third moon of the year.

The betrothal has been settled. Finally.

I doubt I could have endured another miserable day of sitting in Grandsire’s study, listening to him read each of the letters sent by lords from throughout the realm, desperate to pawn their daughters off to a Prince of the Realm. Though I suppose I should be grateful he had already whittled the list down to only the two-score ladies he found the most politically advantageous.

Aegon told me that more than a hundred letters arrived. So, it could have been much worse.

Every letter was nearly the same, listing the family’s wealth and assets along with their daughters ‘accomplishments.’ In truth, calling them such seems far too generous. What does a scrap of embroidery or a reasonably well-played song truly accomplish, other than a few fleeting moments of mediocre beauty? It always fades.

Besides, every highborn lady is trained in the same skills, so they are hardly exceptional.

You frowned, looking up from the journal and at the dozens of examples of your own embroidery scattered throughout the room – including on the blanket you laid under. True, they were not always perfect, but you were proud of each and every one of them.

Then there was your little lyre, sitting by the sun. You hadn’t had the chance to play since coming to the capital, and you realized in that moment that you truly missed it. Once, it had been second nature to pick it up immediately upon waking and pluck nonsensically at the strings as your maids readied you for the day.

Those songs – if they could be called songs at all –were always your favourites. Wholly unique creations of your mind, never transposed, never to be played the same again. For a moment, you almost stood and retrieved the lyre, just to see what your hands would create in this moment.

But that would require setting down Aemond’s diary.

You looked back down at his words and frowned again. It took no small amount of time and effort to develop your skills. In fact, you were quite proud of what you had accomplished. No one was born knowing how to embroider or play music.

Neither was anyone born knowing how to wield a sword or ride a dragon.

Your frown faded at that thought, as you imagined how Aemond would look if you said that to him. The memory of him in the library when you snapped back at him, looking like a befuddled fish, returned to you. It was so enticing that you called for one of your maids to bring your diary, a pen, and ink.

Turning to the first blank page, you noted the date of Aemond’s offending entry and wrote out exactly how you would rebuff him if he had said such a thing to you.

Perhaps, when you were done reading, you would tell him. That is, if you wanted to talk to him at all.

The Stormlight Archive Volume 1: The Way of Kings’ Review: Chapters 5-8

Right, well, you know how I said in my previous post that my COVID test was negative? Yeah so I was swiftly clowned and I am now SICK right on essay season. I have dug out crusty dusty old HP Pavilion to do work but I’m essentially only using it for Tumblr so. My partner is officially in another country now (I know you’re going to read this so pls come back I am dying) so I cant even be babied 24/7 due to the time difference. On season 4 of Criminal Minds already tho so ....

In terms of reading, I am officially back and LOVING it. I am limiting myself to 4 chapters in one setting because that’s how much I want my review sections to cover and writing this takes longer than I thought it would tbh. Lets get to it! 

Spoiler Free Zone:

The split narrative is like definitely managing my problems with maintaining my attention. I will say that since Kaladin’s story line, although definitely interesting don’t get me wrong, would probably get boring if it was all I was reading. I’m more a magic and lore and pretty women fantasy enjoyer than a grr fight fantasy enjoyer since my like gritty lit enjoyment comes from different genres.

Loving the direction that Shallan’s plot line is going in, I’m glad Brandon doesn’t just give the characters what they want straight away and there is at least the illusion that they’re working for something even though its obvious they’ll achieve it eventually.

Mostly, I’m just loving the characters they’re introducing in Shallan’s story, maybe not so much SOME people (a certain person specifically I dislike is beginning, BEGINNING to grow on me) as they’re just so lovely and cute and nice and ugh we love to see it.

I’m saying it now, I did initially think Jasnah was just a bitch tbh like I get she’s all important and up her own ass or whatever but she doesn’t appreciate art??? I get Shallan like couldnt just get what she wanted but like .... come on. I was so mad when she just started shouting n shit when Shallan was waiting in the alcove like get a grip pls. However.... turning a boulder to smoke? I had to tab that as cool, like that was just a smart idea to clear it and a cool fckn power to have 

Shallan wanting to steal tho? I love her, a true icon as she should steal from the bitch. I literally just tabbed it love this bc ? Slay like what else could I do. I’d steal it too 

aaaaaaaaand then were back to Kaladin actually just getting fucking shit on at every turn yet again. mf has to carry a bridge?? and then get shot at with arrows?? my goodness give this man a break 

The spren getting a name tho like Syl is acc like carrying Kaladin’s arc for me I want to know what is going on there I am trying so hard not to spoil it for myself

From an arts and humanities student standpoint, I did tab Shallan describing how she views her art and the process of creation as like fleshy and human. Like in both studying and writing poetry I relate to capturing a person or a place or a moment on paper

A Potion Mishap

“Sev! I’ve told you repeatedly that I detest being your guinea pig for your new potions! Remember that time in the third year when I had to walk around with blue and green hair for a week until the potion wore off!” you huff, crossing your arms over your chest and tapping your foot impatiently.

“That was one time, (Y/N)! I think you can admit that I am much more skilled in my creations now than I was during our school years,” he states, his deep brown eyes pleading his innocence as he gives the liquid in his cauldron a few stirs.

“It was more than one time! Every other week I was walking around with some sort of ailment caused by your ambitious desire to create something new,” you chuckle, reliving the memories in your mind. “Do you remember when Professor Dumbledore caught us in an empty classroom after hours? You were hunched over your cauldron, books opened all over the desk, as you tried to convince me to test yet another one of your potions. Dumbledore wasn’t too happy when he walked in and you were trying to force feed me a vial of god knows what!” 

You both fall into a fit of laughter as you reminisce about your days as students at Hogwarts, clutching your sides as the pain from all the laughter sets in, tears stream from your eyes and you both wipe them away with the backs of your hands.

“In all seriousness,” Snape says, raising an eyebrow at you in return, “I would really appreciate it if you would please -- volunteer as my test subject.”

“What’s in it for me?” you ask, widening your eyes and taking a few steps closer to him.

“I suppose, I will owe you a… favor,” he drawls in a low voice, pausing for a moment before adding, “As long as that favor is reasonable, of course.”

Without a second thought, “Deal!” you shout. It could come in handy knowing you can call upon Snape for a reasonable favor. Though you know your definitions of what is reasonable vary you are sure you can talk him into completing any sort of task for you.

“Excellent,” Snape says as he dips the ladle into the cauldron and pulls up a small bit of the orange, red, and yellow color-shifting shimmering liquid and places it into a vial that he holds out to you. 

Taking the vial and holding it up to your lips you pause before downing it, “Just what is this potion supposed to do, exactly?” you question.

Smiling Snape goes on a long rant about the potion ingredients and how he brewed it in specific and excruciatingly painful details. You do your best to listen but get lost in all the technical language so you smile, nod along, and try to ask easy questions where you can; potions were never your best subject. Finally, Snape gets around to telling you what the potion is supposed to do.

“Anyways,” Snape says, his hands moving along with his words as he talks, displaying how proud he is of his work, “this potion is designed to give you an energy boost that is equal to that of a glass of coffee in just a small dose! If done correctly it will be perfect for people, who like me, dread waking up in the morning because they have insomnia and don’t sleep much! It also should reduce the appearance of under-eye bags!”

Smiling with enthusiasm you tell Snape how proud of him you are and how great it is to see him so excited about something as you give his shoulder a squeeze. Snape simply blushes and nervously attempts to apologize for his rambling, which you quickly shoot down saying you rather enjoyed hearing him speak about his potion and there is no need to apologize.

Placing the vial to your lips you swallow a sip of its contents. Though it is only a few drops, it burns going down causing you to cough a bit. Its effects take place immediately and you feel amazing.

“Snapey, you gotta try ‘tis,” you say, your words slurring together a bit.

“Shit- I must have done something wrong,” Snape mutters, his fingers grasping his chin as he stares into the cauldron. “How do you feel, (Y/N)?” he asks as he glances back up at you with concern showing on his face.

“I feel ahmazing, ‘tis stuff werks. Heer -ave sum too,” you mummer placing your hands on Snape’s face as you try to pry his mouth open to get him to swallow the potion.

“Have you lost your mind, (Y/N)?” he jeers, barely holding you back.

The potion gives you a sudden strength increase from adrenaline and you easily overpower him. Forcing his lips open and pouring the liquid into his mouth. He tries to spit it out but you hold your hand over his mouth so that he has no choice but to swallow it, coughing as it goes down. His eyes glaze over as the potion takes its hold almost immediately.

The two of you burst out into another fit of laughter as you both lean into each other in a sloppy embrace and fall down to the floor where you lay for a while, still giggling. Your bodies are intertwined as you both look out of the window and watch the clouds float by for what feels like an eternity. When suddenly, you both turn your heads and look at each other.

A warm flush of pink is settled across both of your cheeks and both of your eyes are dilated; his deep brown ones staring right into (your eye color) ones. His hand caresses your cheek gently and you close your eyes at the nice and warm sensation that brings you. Feeling a hot breath on your face you open your eyes to see Snape’s face centimeters from yours, the tips of your noses brushing against each other. 

“Mhmm, Sevy,” you breathe just as his lips come crashing down onto yours sloppily. His body rolls over on top of yours as he pulls back from the kiss, his head tilted quizzingly as he looks at you.

“I’m hungry, are you?”

“Starving!” you exclaim, playfully pushing him off of you as you both stand up.

Hand-in-hand you set off for the Great Hall, however, the world is spinning a bit around you causing both of you to walk at a bit of a stumble and lean on each other for support. 

Turning around to tease Snape, you trip over your own feet, and catch yourself on the door of the Great Hall, your back pressing into the wood, unbeknownst to you, the door shifts open a bit under the weight of your body. Snape chuckles as he approaches you and places his hands beside your head, holding you there as he leans down to kiss you, the combined weight of your bodies causes the door to swing open resulting in you and Snape falling down to the ground in the Great Hall, mid-kiss, in front of the whole school as all the students whip their heads around to see who is entering dinner late, their mouths opened wide in shock at the sight.

Snape lays on top of you on the ground for a few moments before you both realize what has occurred and clumsily get back on your feet. Hushed whispering picks up around the room as you and Snape make your way to the Professor's table.

“It is so marvelous to see Professor (Y/N) and Professor Snape for dinner tonight however, it seems as if you are both a little out of character. What say you to a trip to Madam Pomphrey’s with your own private feast while you recuperate?” says Dumbledore, desparate to get you both out of the Great Hall as soon as possible.

Snape looks at you and you both give a quick nod of agreement at the idea and are quickly escorted out of the Great Hall by Dumbledore himself to Madam Pomphrey’s hospital wing where you are given various potions to counteract the effects of Snape’s creation. Sitting cross-legged on one of the beds together, you both refused to be split up despite Madam Pomphrey’s demands, you share your feast together before the potions take their hold and you both pass out.

Stirring from your slumber the next morning you wake up to a pounding headache, causing you to wince. For a moment you are confused as to why you are in the hospital wing sharing a bed with Snape, who is still sleeping, but then you remember the events that took place yesterday. Lightly prodding him, Snape’s eyes dart all around the room as he wakes up. As his eyes find you, he lets out a deep sigh and snuggles closer to you.

“Do we have to get up? That was such an embarrassing day yesterday. First, my potion was a complete failure and then we had to go and kiss in front of the whole school!” Snape whispers, his fingers lightly tracing over your body sending shivers down your spine.

“It wasn’t a complete failure, Sev. If anything you’ve discovered a quick and efficient way to get drunk. I’m sure you could easily market such an item if that’s something you are interested in,” you smile, running a hand through his messy hair.

After a few more moments of bliss, Snape kisses your forehead and rolls out of the bed, extending his hand to help you get up too. You bid your farewells for the time being and both go to your separate chambers to shower and get changed.

Head pounding and heart racing from the previous night's events, you enter your classroom finding yourself unable to meet the eyes of your students. You take attendance and assign them a chapter to read and an assignment to go along with it and then you place your head down on your desk, your headache unbearable.

“Professor (Y/N), how’s that headache today?” a student teases.

You ignore them and threaten to take house points if anyone else says anything else not pertaining to your class.

Another student raises their hand and you call on them. “Professor, what did you drink last night? I want to get my hands on some of that!” they taunt.

Screaming at them about their stupid remarks today you take fifteen points from the student's house and tell them that if anyone else speaks in your class today they will get detention for a month. That seems to do the trick as the students are silent for the rest of the class. Massaging your forehead in an effort to soothe the pain, you can’t help but wonder if Snape is having a similar morning and it just so happens that he is.

Snape saunters into his first class of the day precisely on time as usual but with a look of judgment upon his face that is worse than the norm. With a flick of his wand, his instructions for the day appear on the board.

“You will not utter a word, you will not make useless noise, and you will bottle up a sample of your potion, place it on my desk, and leave my sight once you are done today. Do. You. Understand?” he snarls.

For over half of the class his students seem to have understood his instructions, allowing him to chug a headache potion which doesn’t really do much to alieve his pain. Sighing he decided to cross his arms and rest his head on them for a while.

“Professor, I have a question,” a brave student asks.

Snape’s head snaps off his desk, his eyes ablaze with anger. “What is it? Why are you disobeying my orders?” he growls.

“We are all just wondering… Have you ever used an ice pack for a headache? You should try it. It's a mind-numbing experience!”

The class erupts into a fit of giggles and Snape narrows his eyes at the student. “Twenty points from Hufflepuff, Mr. Greene. Anyone else who speaks a single word, or even breathes too heavily, will lose fifty points for their house and receive three months of detention!”

As the end of the day comes to a close both your and Snape’s headaches have yet to cease, resulting in Snape brewing up two extra strong doses of headache potion of his own invention.

“Here we are again, Sev! Trying to get me to try another one of your potions!” you say rolling your eyes.

“(Y/N), I am so sorry about yesterday. I had no idea of the side effects, I thought it would work but this potion I know will work perfectly. Just trust me once more, please.”

“Fine,” you say letting out a sigh as you take the potion from him.

“Together on the count of three then,” Snape says, “One. Two. Three.”

The potion feels like warm hot chocolate running down your throat and a soothing feeling takes over immediately. As the throbbing pain from your headaches fades to nothingness a smile forms on your lips and Snape smiles warmly back at you.

“I told you it would work,” he teases, poking you in your side as you try to move away from him both of you laughing.

“Please, don’t ever make me test another one of your potions again,” you giggle.

“Oh, we both know I will,” he says with a smile as he wraps you in a warm embrace and gives you a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Thinking so much about the Vans thing is so valid bc literally same. Ever since I read you talking about them being in an alternate universe, in college and etc just made me think how they'd be in some Australian town and the tension would be just as strong as it is now. I once read something (i think it was a fanfic??) And it was about mc and love interest meeting in every single lifetime and falling in love more intensely every single time. Eternal soulmates but a bit twisted kind of beat🤭 and this reminds me of it so much!! Like them disliking each other at first but then then something happens and suddenly they're sneaking around bc they just NEED each other. Or a life where they have always been best friends (hear me out, long blond haired SURFER FELIX?!??!) , the kind that never separates — no matter how big of a damage they suffer from, they push through effortlessly bc that's just how long they've been so close to each other. The kind where all they've ever known has been each other (this is basically our fav trope, just in a different font🤭) and when they get older they realise that all they've ever needed and are going to need is each other, going through each other's firsts ans everything. Then another lifetime where Felix is a streetracer (thiking about 2019 world tour Felix specifically) and it's just full of unexplainable tension. She doesn't like how reckless he is and he dislikes how she judges too quick.. and yeah I could go on FOREVER. The cute twist is that mc always wears the red Vans and Felix always ends up with a tattoo that reminds him of her😭 I'M SO GLAD YOU AGREE THO?? i've been brainrot by this thought for so long now and i just KNOW that it fits otde Felix a little too much🤭 AND THE FLOWER BEING SOMETHING SHE DREW IS SO TRUE TBH I AM ALSO VERY WEAK RN. Exiled States the Obvious Pt. 1

Some canon notes I've noticed and analyzed, this will be placed here not just for safekeeping but for other writers to be known of them too :DD

From Venti's story I; it is said that as a loophole to being refused to be served alcohol because of his appearance, he 'drinks on the job', performing while drinking alcohol the audience gives him instead of Mora (his own suggestion)

Story IV offers some interesting details from Venti's story quest: First, Decarabian truly loved his people and believed that he had done good for them. Second is that Venti was supposed to gift his friend an eagle's feather but wasn't able to do so because he died.

Venti knows how to forge Rex Lapis' signature. Venti knows how to FORGE REX LAPIS' SIGNATURE.

It confuses me how Venti and Diluc doesn't have some kind of estranged relationship knowing how aristocracy/monarchy damaged freedom in Mondstadt.

Venti has been to Celestia and it apparently fucking sucks. That or Venessa told him about it, but it still SUCKS.

The Anemo Archon can and will strip you just to protect his identity/secrets/past. Ask Mona.

Albedo and Klee in his trailer, we can consider this canon: Babysitting Klee includes fucking battles. Best big brother.

The way Venti talks about Albedo speaks of [How Earth is a thing in Space] [Creation of Human Life through Earth] which are direct points to God's (biblical) creation of the universe and humans. With the dialogue, Venti recognizes Albedo has Godly powers that can create such miracles, take this line with a pinch of salt tho.

A connection: The real reason Zhongli does not carry nor care about prices is because of his trailer, THE FUNERAL PARLOR LITERALLY CARRIES ALL HIS EXPENSES

Hu Tao's existence proves that Xiao has a sense of humor and it is MORE THAN LIKELY that the adepti knows and can casually smile or laugh.

This piece of work exists: "Sigils of Permission were once created by Rex Lapis and infused with adeptal power. During the Archon War, such talismans were used by mortals to channel divine power. Now, most of its power has worn off, but adepti will still refrain from harming its holder."

Xiao is actually less hostile/asshole-y in the Chinese version than the English one and should be taken as canon since, well, Mihoyo is a Chinese company. Lots of dialogues or voiceline connotations are lost in translation.

Zhongli's retirement scenario does NOT mean that the adepti will not be needed or will also retire (looking at you Keqing) because as proven by the fight, the adepti are still in need of protecting mankind.

The Qixing and Adepti all know he is not dead, stating he gave hints that he hasn't really died to them.

A huge possibility that Zhongli recites this line whenever he finishes or fulfills a contract: "The contract is fulfilled. That which thou seeketh is now bestowed unto thee, for my promise is solid as stone."

If his words from the cool trailer is to be taken into heart, then Zhongli had long since cared for and protected humans, during the archon war.

Zhongli is not a MORTAL FUNERAL man, he is an ADEPTI FUNERAL man.

This broke God has the AUDACITY to go to operas, and not just any operas no no, "operas by the most celebrated performers."

He does not know shit about poverty because he doesn't know what it's like to be poor. He doesn't need to eat.

Besides the usual, he has more titles, some which are pretty funny: God of History, God of Stove. Liyueans(?) call him Rex Lapis, outside of his nation everyone calls him Morax. And in operas and children, he's more known as the War God.

Zhongli is very likely to cause divine intervention or sightings because a lot of stories and tales in Liyue about him are actually first-hand experience of accounts seeing the God himself.

Wrath of the Rock does not only mean Zhongli smacking asses with a laddle: Qixing of Liyue are officially responsible of punishing contract breakers.

Ningguang's role holds the big bad book of laws, with a whooping page count of 279.

This infomation is mostly for me to clarify Rex Lapis standing in the Seven: He is the first to ascend into Archon-hood, the one out of two remaining of the original Seven (Barbatos is second longest) and that besides him and Venti, the original Seven would also gather for wine in Liyue until they all left Archon-hood.

Zhongli really fuckin did a pest termination arc.

It is not normal for the Harbingers to be like Childe.

While battles and sparring is one of Childe's most usual traits, a lot of his character lines point to the fact that he's not outright looking for beating people up 24/7 and that his thirst can also be quenched by thrill or excitement.

The other five archons do not uphold/focus on the duty of leading humanity, which was the prior responsibility of the original Seven.

I just realized the Archon War was literally about fighting to get a seat on the Seven. The way Archons are chosen are a mystery, just look at how Venti got his Archon-hood smh.

With Morax being unable to make Mora, economy is gonna be wack in Teyvat. In essence, every piece of Mora is valuable and will need to be circulated. Nations may fight to hold the most Mora and the one leading and already found a work around on this is actually the Tsaritsa, who has long since focused on economic power. This may not be coincidence.

Characters who are CANONICALLY good with children, to an extent: Ningguang, Beidou, Xiangling, Baizhu, Albedo, Jean, Childe, Ganyu, Xiao, Lisa. Italicized ones are the to an extent ones.

The Fatui has connections with Mondstadt, mainly the Ordo Favonius.

200 years ago sure is an oddly specific duration in Lisa's story and this might be expanded in the Sumeru chapter.

A clarification to a subtly known fact : It is the combined power of all the adepti that revived Qiqi, not just Xiao.
