WiPs update

I'm hoping to update my four Kid-centric wips in time for his birthday on 1/10

Passing Fascination (yandere) is set, Honeysuckle Red's (vampire AU) almost there( ah... hahaha have I not posted any of those chapters to tumblr or Ao3? ... apparently not. Ahem.), and Elevated (Extension of Elevator Music one-shot) had half a chapter done already. Soul'd Out (Demon AU ) might give me some grief, but if I can wrangle it between today and tomorrow I'll try to get Hat Trick (Kid/Reader/Law) in there too.

the good news is, that I had a stroke of inspiration and now I have a full idea of how I want Honeysuckle to go, some backstory for it, and ideas for the next dozen or so chapters, which is huge cause while I knew what Vibe I wanted it to have I was getting stalled by the details.

I'm still doing some Host Club drabbles too, and once 1/11 hits I'm going to shift focus onto the Forget Me Not event (Requests for that are still open, stories will start dropping 1/15)

Update - no longer sick \o/

Hey it's been a hot minute since I've made a post - lets do an update.

This is mostly about my open multi-chapters. I do my work pretty raw on Wattpad before it ends up on Tumblr or Ao3 (check out my pinned post for links, and for the sideblogs where I post to here.)

I have a LOT of open wips - my apologies to people who aren't fans of that, but it works for me. Don't worry, all wips will be completed. (Most are at least mapped out to completion.)

Heart of Gold - Priority one - Once I complete Heart of Gold Book 1 I'll be setting up to release Quicksand: Warlords, Thrice Prophesized Book 2, A Light Touch: Emperors and Heart of Gold book 2. (Family Ties book 2 is somewhere in there too)

Secondary to Heart of Gold, I want to complete Just Like Fire (book 1 >.> ahem) because it's probably only got another 4-5 chapters.

EVERYTHING ELSE will be worked on as I have musing/time/focus for them. Meaning, there's no real schedule (those of you who have been dealing with me for the last year know schedules don't really work for me anyway).

I'll try not to let them go for more than 90 days between updates, but I also don't want to force a chapter and have it be less than what I want.

Hat Trick, Mafia Ink, Family Practice, Famous Last Words, Elevated, Royal Pains and Booked are fairly well planned out.

Honeysuckle Red, Souled Out, Unseen (ah crap I haven't posted Unseen to tumblr yet, I forgot! it's a Killer x Reader fic), and two as yet released titles are more Fly By the Seat of my Pants, and thus will get what they get when they get it.

But I'll do my best to be more consistent with the planned out titles at the least. Expect to see 24-26 titles by the end of the year just for multi-chapter stories . (I'm hoping my NaNoWriMo goal of 100k words will help complete Hat Trick and Family Practice at the minimum.)

Lastly - next week I will not be updating as much as usual - there's some personal stuff going on and beyond just work I'll be unusually busy. So don't panic if I go dark for a few days ♥

Ah, LAST LASTLY - I haven't forgotten or abandoned the Birthday Requests xD - getting sick knocked me off working on them, but they'll still be getting love this month =3

yourusername welcome to my penalty box post game update: quinny huggy hughesy edition! due to saturday’s game being a blackout, i was unable to acquire photos. onto the current update!

quinn is now at 3 games without a penalty! NOT ONLY THIS, but saturday he beat the nhl record to have the fewest number of games to reach 200 assists in defenseman history! will not hesitate to say i cried of pure pride at this

ps. congrats @_eliaspettersson on the 300 points milestone last night and getting both the game opening and game winning goals in last night’s shootout! (so best friends of them to get milestones in back to back games!) so proud of you both💙💚

Chapter 1 / Chapter 2 / Chapter 4 / Chapter 5\ Chapter 6

Both Chevalier and MC had decided to keep the matter of her pregnancy a secret. Many nobles were against her being queen and wanted to make their own daughters queen instead.

But MC was the queen of the people. The citizens loved her and even the bureaucrats and the minister came to love her. Many nobles, including the faction of Marquis Michel were supporting her. She did an impeccable job and her manners and etiquette was befitting of a queen.

The only thing that could still be used as leverage against her was the fact that she did not give birth to a child.

MC having an heir to the throne would make her position too strong. The minority of nobles who were still against her would not want that. So they have decided to delay the announcement as much as possible, to protect both her and the baby.

Only two other people knew: Cecilia and the palace doctor.

The first one to find out after that was Clavis.

It was a sunny afternoon and Chevalier was away on an inspection. MC had decided to take a walk in the rose garden. 

She was admiring the beautiful flowers when suddenly she felt the floor beneath her feet crumble and she fell into a pit.

Loud laughter echoed above her. Clavis.

“Haha! I can’t believe you fell for it. I originally dug this trap for Yves but this is even better!!”

Clavis peeked on MC who was sitting inside the hole, in shock. She fell right on her arse and Clavis was awaiting for her to get angry like she always did.

But her lack of reaction made him worry. Was the pit too deep? No, he always made sure it was not deep enough for anyone to get hurt.

He jumped into the hole and kneeled in front of MC, he peeked at her face and what he saw there was dread, fear, panic.

“MC! What’s wrong? Did you get hurt?” Clavis was starting to regret his trap. She never reacted this way before.

MC finally came back to her senses.

“Omg! Clavis! What have you done!?”

“What!? What’s wrong?!” The prince answered, panicked.

“Clavis, I'm pregnant and I fell on my butt! My baby! What if it’s hurts!?”

Wait….she’s WHAT!?

Clavis immediately picked her up and climbed out of the pit and started running toward the palace doctor.

By the time they arrived at the infirmary, MC was crying and Clavis was so panicked he could not form proper sentences.

Thankfully, The doctor who was well acquainted with Clavis’s antics quickly understood what was happening and proceeded to shoo the prince out and examine MC.

Thankfully, it seemed the baby was fine. But when Clavis was allowed to enter the infirmary again, he was looking down in shame.

He kneeled by MC’s bedside and took her hand in his.

“I’m sorry, MC. I did not know you were pregnant.”

“It’s fine. But please do not do that ever again.”

They smiled at each other. The pair had managed to form quite a formidable friendship over the years. MC did feel guilty for not telling Clavis of her pregnancy and Clavis felt sorry for hurting her. They apologized to each other and the first thing Clavis did after that was disarm all his traps.

Of course, the second Chevalier returned to the palace and learned of this incident from MC, he decided killing his fool of a brother was his next quest.

Only MC’s tears were able to dissuade him to do so. But he still kicked the crap out of him.

The next person to find out was Licht.

Chevalier has assigned him to be MC’s bodyguard when she leaves the palace, and the young prince didn't mind. He loved MC a lot.

That day, MC was visiting another shelter, with Licht and Cecilia following behind her.

A comfortable silence settled between the prince and the lady in waiting, when Licht noticed MC was looking a bit pale.

When he told Cecilia of his worries she answered without much thinking “Well, she should be resting while pregnant, yet she insists on continuing her duties.”

Licht stops in his tracks and looks at Cecilia in astonishment. 

“MC is pregnant?” he whispers, careful not to be heard.

Cecilia finally registered what she had done. She got flustered but recognized that the only thing she could do was admit the truth.

“Well….I….Yes she is. But! It's a secret! No one can know!”

“But you just told me so easily.” Licht smiles teasingly.

Cecilia couldn’t believe her eyes. Prince Licht was smiling and he was….teasing her. 

‘His smile is so beautiful. Too bad he doesn't smile often.’ she thinks to herself.

“W-Well I’m usually more careful! That’s because it’s you, Prince Licht! I get too comfortable when I’m with you and I-” She stops mid sentence. 

What had she just told him? She couldn’t stop herself from blushing as she felt his eyes on her. She turned her head away, trying to salvage whatever was left of her pride.

After few seconds she heard him mutter more to himself than to her “You shouldn’t feel too comfortable around me. I’ll only bring you misfortune.”

She had heard him very well, yet she could not bring herself to ask him what he meant and the conversation between them ended there. 

After that, weeks has passed and both Clavis and Licht had kept the secret. MC was still able to get her small baby bump under larger dresses and darker colors.

But soon enough they would have to announce it. Especially now that the Rose wine festival of Rhodolite was coming.

It happened every year right at the beginning of Fall. It was to hope for a good harvest that year. Chevalier did not see the point in such superstitions but nonetheless it was a tradition that was started by the very first King of Rhodolite so he had to honor it.

The ceremony was quite simple. The royal couple greeted the people on the palace's terrace, gave a speech and had the first taste of last year’s Rose wine, which was a speciality of Rhodolite. Then it was followed by festivities both inside and outside the palace that would last up to 2 days.

The problem was that MC was pregnant and she could not drink the wine. Instances happened in the past where the queens were pregnant during the festival. Then the tradition required for the King to drink their cup instead. 

Both MC and Chevalier decided that there was no more running away and decided the festival was the right time and place to announce to the whole kingdom that a new royal heir would be born.

And so on that day, when Chevalier took the chalice from MC’s hand and drank it in her stead, silence followed before loud cheers erupted from the crowd of people . 

The prince and most nobles were smiling and applauding while some of them looked displeased. Especially a certain Duke who was specially adamant on making his daughter queen. 

‘I’ll have to do something about this.’ He thought to himself as he stared at the Royal couple who were holding hands and smiling sweetly at each other.
