so i've seen some fanarts of Chellyx and even some Miss Pauling x Chell (no clue what their ship name is) here and there.... but... y'all....... what...... what if.....

YES. Listen. Rarepairs are my fandom happy space. I know you know The Terror, so let me tell you- Hodgson/Pilkington came to me in a dream and now there are multiple fics by multiple authors and bits of art out there? Delicious.

I'm currently several thousands of words deep into a years-spanning Don Malarkey/Paddy Mayne series. And I recently counted up pairings on Ao3 where I was the only one in the tag... its a lot.

Not just for ww2 fandoms. Years ago, I wrote a Diana Allers/Kaidan Alenko fic I love beyond reason.

I am ALWAYS down for talking about this. Fandom is a playground. Let's have fun in it! Reject the notion a ship has to have Canon evidence to be good.

Just curious do you think Yanfei x Heizou could work as couple?

heizou is a little shit (affectionate) and i think yanfei would be great at putting up with that. she would go along with his shenanigans most of the time—she doesn’t mind bending the rules, but if he straight up breaks the law during investigations she’ll probably keep him in line. kujou sara would love her LMAO

and even though she can be level-headed and knows how to rein him in, heizou’s flirting would most definitely get to her sometimes :) like if it catches her off guard her cheeks will turn the color of her hair and she shuts down JSBDJFHD

but i think she’d also flirt back with him when she has her wits about her since she is also a menace. and when they are both being menaces it’s terrifying for whatever criminal they’re after or investigating because they share one brain cell and it’s bouncing back and forth between them, but like it works because they’re in sync and know what the other is thinking. interrogations with these two would be incredible to watch

So like..

Ishigami (TogaIshi???). Kiyotaka and Byakuya. It has weird potential.

It'd definitely fall under the Enemies to Lovers category, but I feel like that's just all of their ship dynamics in a nutshell. Byakuya definitely would fall under the Genius category that Kiyotaka despises. In Takas eyes, Byakuya didn't work for anything. He grew up privileged and rich and had everything handed to him, and then he gets into a prestigious school purely because he's rich. However, Byakuya did have to WORK for it. If I remember right, Byakuya had to fight and win against dozens of half-siblings in order to become the heir. Him being an heir wasn't something handed to him on a platter, it was something he did genuinely have to fight for. And I feel like if Taka knew that it'd certainly change his opinion regarding him.

Byakuya on the other hand.. I could see him being annoyed by Taka. He's loud, overbearing, emotional.. but he definitely doesn't take Byakuyas shit, either. He has a level of audacity that I feel Byakuya would be impressed by.

It's one of those pairings I wish people talked about more!! It has so much potential, especially with the HCS I've seen of them being childhood friends before toranosuke pulled his bullshit (which, does make sense!! The Togami family definitely would be able to have ties with a PRIME MINISTER).

~ Three Ships

ZackSeph: My current otp, absolutely love their dynamic as the most serious guy you've ever met and a ball of endless sunshine. I love the fics where these two just have a huge fluff session and nothing terrible happens (it's what they deserve smh). How this is a rareship I will never know. Ask @altocat, they know how much I love these two.

EdelClaude: Can you tell I'm into rareships where one of them is very aloof but the other is seriousness personified? I genuinely don't know how I got into it, but two royals teaming up to tear down the church is definitely a vibe.

HaurchEmeric: Keeping up the rarepair trend, we got these two catholic Elezen. Of all three ships this one has the least content and you're all missing out tbh. These two definitely smooched while the WoL is out there doing quests for them. Heavensward hits a little harder if you ship these two imo.

Destiel. Yes, I was a superwholocker back in the day, huge timewaster but at least I enjoyed it at the time.
