Crossover Idea 3
Batman (or DC in general but mostly focusing on batfam) and AtLA crossover, but probably not the usual way.
For one, there's no benders, not out everywhere. The creatures that taught the first are long dead, and the small communities of what people saw as mystical beings far gone.
So how would one learn bending?
Well while the people may be gone, their writings are not.
Enter Alfred- not a bender himself as far as the rest of the family knows- but the last of a long line who have kept each scroll and meticulously guarded them. Carefully taking care of lost knowledge and making sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Now Alfred has been holding these scrolls for years, decades even, when a young Bruce Wayne enters his care, his parents' death shaking both of them.
Alfred doesn't exactly mean to start teaching Bruce, but the child is so lost, and angry, and so close to shattering from the scattered cracks across him...
At first it's merely meditation techniques, done after nightmares, then before bed. Then it grows, his the child wishing to learn how to fight, to defend himself, to defend others, and Alfred cannot find himself to say no.
So Bruce learns.
For just a bit, he can let go of worries, of his fear and panic and everything else and simply live. He still leaves on his training trip, a decade gone as Alfred watches over the manor. He trains and learns and adapts, never using the wind among others even as it calls to him.
The wind is free-flowing, slippery, fast, but he learns, different styles, aggressive ones, defensive ones. Some he adds to his own bending style, adapting them to that free flowing graceful style, now accented with near rock-shattering hits, blades of wind carefully coating hands.
Others he leaves for non-bending, at least for his own, writing and drawing and putting down ideas. When he returns to Alfred, it is with a lighter weight on his back, and arms laden with both notes and drawings.
Gotham starts to whisper about a flying shadow soon after, gliding between buildings and darting between crime scene to crime scene. Gotham doesn't believe in Gods, but a ghost? A spirit?
That they can believe in, even if they're unsure as to if it's a guardian, or sign of something worse to come.
And then the children spirits start to appear.

ANOTHER AU?
Couldnt be me
The Red Glove AU follows Y/N
A young adult who works as a server at a local restaurant with a strained relationship with their mother. They hardly got a chance to be close to their dad growing up (because of their mother) but knew him to be a legendary boxer.
One day Y/N recieved a package with their father's old boxing equipment and a letter from him after his death. This oushed Y/N to follow in their father's foot steps like they've always dreamed.
Leading Y/N to seek out Monty, their father's old boxing student who retired after an underground fight ring bust years ago. He's remained in the shadows ever since, and it only takes a lot a little begging to get him to be their coach.
Y/N finds themselves as they navigate this new era of their life and helps reunite Monty's passion for boxing along the way. Of course this is one of MY AUs so they slowly fall in love along the way
The ever inspiring and lovely @paper-lilypie helped me figure out a pretty good chunk of plot for this AU so MUAH MUAH
Everyone thank her 💕

“That rhythm of town starts calling me down...
It's like a message from high above!”

Well now, who’s this dashing person? No way could this upstanding man ever be the type to ditch his comfortable position on the court of Spades and become a Joker -- right?
Hahaha, yeah, this is Jacob Cromwell, long before his Escape Artist days, back when he still happily worked for the infamous “Counselor,” the Jack of Spades, Duncan Ashe! Looks like he’s just about to head into work, getting off the trolley so he can walk the rest of the way through the capitol to see his OTL buddy, Ashe. Today he’s by himself and looking chipper, but trust me, on those days he could bring his little sister Carewyn with him into the capitol, you’d find Jacob in an even more cheerful mood. It was not uncommon back in those days for Jacob and Carewyn to end up entertaining the passengers of the trolley with their singing, since Jacob would be so thrilled to share his work with his sister and spend time with both her and Ashe, and Carewyn would just feed off of Jacob’s enthusiasm. ^.^
Music accompaniment while working on this piece included The Trolley Song from Meet Me in St. Louis, Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howl’s Moving Castle, We Built This City by Starship, Why Should I Worry? from Oliver and Company and Down in New Orleans from The Princess and the Frog. Jacob’s outfit, if colored, I see following Duncan’s color scheme quite a bit -- Jacob even has an ascot similar to his boss’s. You also may notice that if you count up all the spades in Jacob’s outfit -- including the fingerless Spade-themed gloves -- that he’s wearing exactly nine spades, which corresponds to the card I associate with him!
Much love, all! Hope you have a magical day! ♠️

Prompt: Red-Handed
Pairing: YasMoon
***
“Moon! Moon, get up, it’s snowing!”
The guest bedroom of Yasmine’s sister’s cabin blurs into view, as does Yasmine’s beam.
“Where’s Rosalie?”
“At a photoshoot. No one here to bother us.”
Outside, the world glistens. Yasmine cheers and spins around, snowflakes catching on her tongue and her long red winter gloves.
Smiling, Moon watches. Yasmine’s happier than she’s ever seen her.
Her friend turns, smirking. Before Moon knows it, she’s being tackled into the snow, pink lipstick pressing against her own. She memorizes snowflakes in blonde hair and the icy cold against her skin.
Right now, we can be ourselves.
***
And did the twin flame bruise paint you blue?
Just between us, did the love affair maim you, too?
'Cause in this city’s barren cold
I still remember the first fall of snow
And how it glistened as it fell
I remember it all too well
@robbykeeneslawyer the 10-minute All Too Well Yasmoon AU returns!!!
