For those interested (and uninterested!), chapter 2 of Blue & Silver has been posted: After offering a winter spirit (not a homeless man), a car ride, Hiccup and Jack hit it off. Considering that the strange lake Hiccup's been dreaming about nonstop is none other than Jack's, they figure have even more in common than they thought. (Sharing a mutual unlove for twilight is just a bonus, really). Now Hiccup is back home and has questions left to answer and perhaps a friend to meet again. Or another in the process. Fortunately, the lake is not that far away.

@imdeadtiredtm and I are co-writing this story, and it's very fun. Well, it also makes my brain hurt at times, but more than that, its fun.

If you're here for what you've actually come for, do enjoy it, but in the case you've never tried reading for this particular side of the internet, hurrowed in a corner, then I definitely recommend it. Think of it like trying Free Samples at the supermarket. We all know its a strategic marketing move to goad off our wallets, but hey! Free samples! At most, you'll lose a laugh or two as you consider what has led you to the point of reading a crack crossover fic of the years 2010, and maybe, you'll stay for the actual content, like that wasn't our plan all along. Case in point: How to train your dragon and rise of the guardians have so much lore and vitality, especially their books; The main characters happen to have an interesting dynamic together, and its nice to uncover it. So yeah! Have fun!

Jack was surprised when he realised you could see him

no one ever believed in him, you were the first one and then Jamie was the second one

but Jamie was a child it was natural for jim to believe in him and Santa and others, but you were a young woman

he usually watched you through your window because he thought you were beautiful

he thought you were the most beautiful woman he ever saw

but one night when he watched you again through you window, your eyes met

your eyes widen and his as well

,Jack Frost?' you whispered

you opened your window so he could get in, so he did

,You can see me?! Yah!' he said

,Yes, of course I can see you, what are you doing here?' you asked

,Well I.. I just wanted to meet you, get to know you.' he answered.

and that's how you two started dating

Jack is very protective, he doesn't want you to get hurt by anyone especially Pitch

he will be by your side 24/7

but he loved nights with you the most

that's the time when it's just you and him in your bed cuddling

oh yes he loves cuddles

he loves kissing your lips, like he loves kissing your whole face and body but your lips are the best

they'are soft and sweet, he just can't get enough of them

you sometimes steal Jack's hoodie, but he loves it

teaching Jack how to use a phone 'cause after all he's more then 300 years old and times change

his hands are very cold

sometimes he's insecure about if he's good enough for you

you are beautiful, strong, creative and he's just Jack Frost

snow fights all the time

hugs from the back while buried his face into your neck and kissing it

he sneaks up behind you when you don't pay attention to him and smack your butt

watching scary movies together while drinking hot chocolate

stroking his hair because it always calms him down

teaching him how to cook but it always ends up a huge mess

meeting the guardians

he's jealous of everyone but mostly Bunny

ice skating together

he tells you everything, he even tells you his past memories he remember 'cause of his teeth, that's how much he loves you

when you're sad he makes it snow in your room a bit to cheer you up

pulling you into his lap

flirting and cheesy pick up lines all the time, but he knows you love it

clingy! he just can't keep his hands for himself, HE LOVES TOUCHING YOU

he loves you very much and nothing will ever change that

rise of the guardians thoughts

Because we needed more of those from me right lol

Anyway-

The timing of Jack being selected to be a Guardian is really interesting.

Because in movie canon, the other Guardians came together during the dark ages, right? And they needed to protect things that were being lost to children of that era due to fear and despair: wonder, hope, dreams, important memories.

But Jack. Jack becomes a Guardian in the modern era.

The implication is that modern kids are losing their grip on fun. There's fear and despair inflicted on the young generations of today, by school, mental illness, and the constant barrage of information and guilt on the Internet putting the weight to save the world on them while they're still powerless to do anything about it. Even when people try to aim that guilt exclusively at adults (which a lot of media doesn't!), kids tend to try to feel in control of bad things happening around them by assuming they're their own fault. If they can blame themselves for divorce and abuse, why not world disasters?

And when hope isn't enough anymore, when good memories are formed less and less, when the wonder and magic are stripped from a child's world, where do they have left to escape fear and despair?

Fun.

And I think that's why Jack was chosen when he was.

And it could be so easy to make that connection and let your hope for the world slip, but that's not the point of Rise of the Guardians.

The point is that actually, taking fear and despair too seriously, even when you're the one/ones fighting it- letting it consume your thoughts and time... doesn't do anyone any good.

Sometimes you need to fight it by being lighthearted in spite of the world.

I think that's why it's remained such a comfort movie for the generation it was made in. We see ourselves in these more or less helpless kids, struggling against a constant storm of fear and darkness, and this movie finds a way to pull that innocence and lightheartedness out of us again. It's comforting to feel like there's defenses and barriers against despair that will never truly go away, even just for a moment.

In the past I have seen people cross ship Jack Frost with Alice Liddell, with American McGee's Alice being a horror fantasy "sequel" of Alice in Wonderland and the fact that I have already done a few Alice crossover collages, why not do one on them as well.

If you want to see animation flim but can’t afford it and you’re in a hard place

Or live in part of the world that flim will never air?

Ok I get it go pirate that movie 🍿

If it’s a Disney Disney animated movie

Yeah go pirate that flim they can afford a lost and they’re not always known for treating their creators and animators well (( find ways to go support their creators and animators and artists wherever you can please))

But if you can afford to pay to see your animated movies and you want them to do well and you know maybe keep on going you better NOT be the asshat who pirates that animated flim

You go watch it in theatres and buy the dvds for it

Do NOT be a cheap if you can afford it

Because unlike Disney

Animated companies like Sony; Studio Ghibli and Dreamworks had to work sooo long and soo hard

Against Disney just to get to where they are today

Heck once Pixar was against Disney but then being as 3d animation costs a hold lot more to make than 2d and requires a hold lot more people to make they nearly went bust but the Disney bought them and Disney had less competition

Also dreamworks started being as Disney didn’t want to invest money into 3D animation after how much it cost to pay 3d animation & animators for treasure planet movie and their piss off the animators so bad they got together a team of their own and started dreamworks animation team away from Disney to compete with them

Also if you’re saying oh but dreamworks a big animated movie company now

Let me remind you of the movie

Rise of the guardians

The one with the Jack Frost character so many of you like to ship with Disney’s frozen Elsa character

Do you know even though it was such great well received movie it couldn’t get it’s story continued

In fact it’s 2nd movie got canceled

As you see here it didn’t make it to getting more movies 🍿

Because not enough people went to go see it

It was the most pirated movie when it came out

It didn’t make the gross it needed to prove people would watch it’s story to continue so it got canceled

Shrek

Kun fu panda

How to train your dragon those movies got the funding it needed for their stories to continue but never rise of the guardians

Dreamworks isn’t Disney they cannot afford to keep doing stories that will not make profit

Disney can afford to lose to dreamworks

But Studio Ghibli and dreamworks can’t lose to Disney

So when studio ghibli and dreamworks make an animated film and you can afford to go see it and to get the dvds please don’t pirate it

There’s a hold team of animators / writers and artists working on their movies who you are stealing work from when you pirate animated films

Plus someone needs to go against Disney

Disney needs to be taken down a few pegs

Because Disney has taken awards it didn’t deserve to get when they should’ve gone to studio ghibli and dreamworks as well

Heck man I know Sofie from howl’s moving castle

And Branch & poppy from trolls

Would want you to be more supportive of animated films (( within reason))

I just don’t want what happened to rise of the guardians to happened to any other animated flim that isn’t Disney one

Don’t let Disney keep on winning it doesn’t deserve it

Look I get it if you cannot afford or movie not available where you are I’m not attacking you

I’m mad at those who can afford it that pirate

Animated films (( wish they did it more to Disney films to be honest; because Disney can afford it let’s be honest here; plus Disney has a lot of dark history on not treating their writers/ animators/ artists/ actors all that great that people seem to ignore because oh it’s *Disney* witch isn’t ok for Disney to keep getting away with))

Look if you can’t afford it or it’s not available to you or you don’t have the time or just waiting for the dvd

Of it to come out cool

But please if you can afford it please go see the movie and not pirate it (or get it when it’s on dvd)

I’d like to say something about “Rise Of The Guardians”.

It didn't exactly do well at the box office and that’s why it didn’t get a sequel and Dreamworks is throwing it under the bus. But since Peacock is doing a MegaMind tv series, there's probably a chance they'll give ROTG another opportunity as a tv series too.
