How do you think Saeyoung and SE Saeran handle it when their father, Saejoong is going to coming for them, like in Ray route? Who do you think could handle it better?

Well, it’s not going to be pretty. Saejoong is never handled in the Secret Ending. Jumin and Jaehee are aware of this secret now and are doing what they can do to hide it. The situation is rather different because by the time they're going to be dealing with their father, time later after the fall of the agency and something finds its way to the general public when it shouldn't have.

Their father is still very much a threat and there's no denying that it's going to happen sooner or later where he comes looking for them again. He never quits when it comes to wanting to destroy any possible loose end that could be a detriment to his personal image.

Saeyoung himself says that he intends to hold on to a lot of the information from the agency just as collateral even as it collapses.

That means potential information about his father.

We know that his father works closely with the agency because of what was revealed in the Saeran's After Ending.We also learned that it could be possible that he could have been doing assignments for his father but there's no way to confirm that. It leaves the sour taste in your mouth, that's for sure. It was just devastating for him to hear that information when you see it happen on the second day.

Saeyoung looked sick at the thought. I mean, imagine selling your soul to save your twin from your father and you wind up committing crime for the very damn man that put you in this position.

We are all well aware of how he feels about his father because that's never going to change. He is not the kind of person to forgive people. He is the kind of person who will hold the grudge for the rest of his life no matter what happens. He will hate you and he may even consider getting rid of you if he has the ability to do that when you have wronged him. If it wasn’t for Jumin and Jaehee, we’re all aware what would’ve happened to Rika in V’s AE.

There won't be anything left of you if you do something to his brother or his MC. So there really isn't much to say on that front because we know what he would do if given the chance. His opinion never changes about this. If his father came back and was ready to kill, there's a strong chance that he would want to kill him just as much. If there was an opportunity to do it and take him down? He would take it. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Where it changes is when it comes to SE Saeran.

We know that he's not compassionate in the sense that he's going to forgive other people to work on himself. He is in a different place then he would have been if he had been able to experience life like GE Saeran. In fact, he wants nothing to do with many people. It's not even because he hates them, it's because he just doesn't want to deal with the world anymore.

He is aware that his father is a threat. Saeyoung literally broke him out of the hospital to avoid Saejoong, so he knows what’s going to happen sometime in the future. He knows that Saejoong will never give up on them as long as he’s alive. That man is determined to remain the Prime Minister and nothing will ever get in his way or ruin his image as long as he’s around... but the fall of the Agency is likely going to bring Saejoong looking.

How that would play out isn’t clear, but unfortunately, I can promise you that the twins will have to face their father at some point post-SE. It’s only a matter of a date and a time. Saeyoung is right to be paranoid, even if it overwhelms him and takes control of him. He is right to be scared, and even if Saeran cannot handle being close to his twin... he shares a look with him and can’t blame him or hate him for Saejoong causing issues.

Despite what it seems like, it might be possible for him to keep a level head in that situation. He and his brother know very well what the threat is. They know what's coming for them and they know what will happen if they get caught. They also know what's going to get dragged into it so the people around them are going to be a factor as well. It's not great to have vulnerabilities or weaknesses when your father is Saejoong Choi, but that's just the way that it is.

When the threat comes, he and his brother are going to work together to save their asses. It might be the one thing that can always get them to talk and agree. When push comes to shove, they can interact when there is a threat.

He hates his father. There is no point of return or conversation that he's going to have with that man in this ending. He's already too far gone for himself and he could give no fucks about his father and what led him to do what he did. So, what does that mean in regards to what he will do? Well, let's just say that Saejoong isn’t getting away from the twins unscathed.

The only real issue here is Saeran’s phobia of guns. That’s just my feeling about that. Revenge was never going to help him and he’s learned the hard way that he can’t take back what happens once it’s too far gone.

Nobody really talks about this but he does suffer from guilt and shame about what happened to V. He is haunted by what he did and he constantly deals with night terrors because of the incident. A part of me assumes that he doesn't want to get near weapons ever again just because of what happened it was a power symbol once, but it turned into something that became all too real and the true consequences are far too much to stomach.

You have to factor in that he doesn't want to commit violence but there's no way that he and his brother can get out of this without doing something. We all know that Saeyoung would do the dirty work. He’s done it before. His hands are just as stained. So I feel like that's something to consider when you think about it.

Have you played june's route yet? It's confirmed that Jumin and June are related. June mentioned it on his private account.

I haven't open the app for so long that Harry is forever frozen in some boring sideline arc. I forgot whose life he was spectating on but it's probably Malong (it's always him).

But omg!! I hopped to the tag right after I saw your ask and wow. Regardless of people's varying reactions, I just wanna know how Jumin would feel about suddenly gaining a half-brother overnight, or if he'd always known beforehand. Every time there's an update that's even loosely related to Jumin, I always wonder how he'd feel and think (my heart breaks for him in Saeran's AE).

I need his POV I need to be there for him and if there's a direct interaction with Jumin in June's route? Idc that it's a cheap trick Cheritz is pulling. I'm here for the gossip. <<<says someone who has no interest in June's route after seeing a few of the spoilers. He's so far from my type but let's see. I want to try all the routes—I'm still determined to finish Teo's even though it bores me so much I only skim through the chat.

why i love Jumin + why he's one of the best characters imo

Even if we take away all the economic power he manages we could still find a good quality character. I usually see Jumin being highlighted for his wealth, but he by himself is a good-hearted, sweet and understanding person.

Jumin can take neutral standpoints to support others and give more logical or rational advice rather than emotional, as seen in some chats when problems arise. He shows a lot of concern (not so directly) with all RFA members and he even says that if they made mistakes, he would always forgive them.

Here are some examples:

SPOILER OF V'S AE: He was the first to try to give Saeyoung encouragement when he was about to give up after thinking Saeran was dead, who gave him a job in his company and accepted him for who he is.

SPOILER ZEN'S ROUTE: Despite all the conflicts he has with Zen, he never wanted to stop supporting him, offering him employment and took the time to go talk to him at his worst and clear things up between the two of them.

SPOILER ROUTE 707: This was hilarious in my opinion, but him caring about Yoosung missing his mother and him calling her was kind of cute, probably his intention was genuine.

The support he gives V is very touching, he is the one who remembers most of the things they did or happened to them, who trusts V even when his own intuition and RFA's trust fades, who always supported him and was there for him when his mother died.

Also, within the story he is an important character, as he is the one who handles the most connections and who can give the best financial support.

He tries to be informed about many topics, even if they are ridiculous and tends to be somewhat innocent for that very reason, he is very curious.

He is open to listen and understand, he is like that voice that reminds you of the reality but not only leaves you with the problem, but he always thinks of solutions, because he is very strategic.

HE IS AN ECOCAPITALIST AND LOVES ANIMALS, HELLO?

Supportive boyfriend so real.

He doesn't care about social status when it comes to the people he loves.

He always takes in consideration the opinion and consent of his loved ones, he always wants to be respectful and wants to be trusted by his partner.

Sorry I forgot to post about finishing Saeran's AE. ! !SPOILERS! !

-It was wonderful. I loved every bit of it. Except for the endings, I don't understand how the normal end wasn't the good end. I feel like they should've called the good ending "Happy Ending" considering it had the best outcome overall of them. Vanderwood joined the RFA, Jumin became president, Yoosung became a baker, Zen's career hit off, I feel bad for Jaehee because NGL I forgot what happened sorry, Rika decided to actually change herself, Both V and Rika went to prison. In the end the twins finally got their freedom. Saeyoung escaped both the agency and his father getting to finally reunite with his brother. Getting the happy ending they wanted. All of them stayed single but were happy. [I guess you could say, they lived, "Happily ever after" Ha Ha Ha... I'm a genius (⁠☆⁠▽⁠☆⁠)]

-Normal ending: sigh. . .

The normal end, Saeran proposed promising himself to MC and the twins still got their freedom. NEED I SAY MORE?!?! How is that not a good ending??? I DON'T KNOW HE LITERALLY SUGGESTED TO MC HE WANTED TO MAKE A HAPPY FAMILY HOW IS THAT NOT A GOOD END!? [Side note: I went on a rant after finishing the game and sobbed. (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)]

Mystic Messenger (Another Story)

The long awaited Another Story. I had no real ideas of what to expect going in, other than these two stories are in a different reality from the first five routes. But I really didn’t have too many ideas about it, and I’ve tried to avoid spoilers about it. I was super excited to finally play them!

V’s Route

I was low-key dreading this route. I’m not a huge fan of V. Especially given what happens after 707’s route, it made me really not want to play V’s route. I didn’t like V, I didn’t like Rika, I hated their relationship, so I figured V’s Route wouldn’t be for me.

The common Another Story route was really hard on me, because I’m more drawn to Ray than V, but I pushed through. But once I got to V’s Route it became actually painful having to reject Ray all the time. I cried so many times during V’s Route and 95% of the time it was because I felt bad about how I had to treat Ray and the things Ray had to go through.

V’s Route was emotionally exhausting, way worse than even 707’s route was for me. It’s just so heavy and not as many funny parts to break it up. The content is also pretty dark. It also deals with many complex themes that make you really have to evaluate your morals and such.

I honestly didn’t think I’d like this route at all, but I’m grateful I played it. I think I got to see a lot of growth and depth in the characters which was great. It made me actually like V. It gave me even more reasons to love Jumin (Jumin Han apologist all day every day). And the ending was really good. Full disclosure I did the forgiveness ending, and I don’t think I’ll do the judgement one, so I can only give thoughts on the one I did. And I’ll say it was really good and heartwarming. The ending definitely made all my tears and trauma worth it.

I will say if you are on the fence about playing I’d recommend it even if you don’t like V, but just be prepared to be emotionally rocked.

Ray’s Route

This is the route I had been waiting for and was so excited to finally play. I’ve been so interested in Ray/Saeran/Unknown since I first played the game. So I was so excited to get to play this route, especially since V’s route made me so depressed for having to betray and leave Ray.

I had so much fun playing this route, I’ll say it was hard because Another Story seems to just be more exhausting than other routes. There are more calls and more chats you can’t miss than the other routes, plus there are many late night and early morning chat rooms so my usual style of sometimes skipping the last chat of the day and waking up to play before the third chat of the day doesn’t work as well.

But other than the fact Another Story is hard, I really loved this route. It was so good and really just gave me everything I could’ve wanted. I like that Saeran is such a complex character, his route is very similar to his brother’s in that way. I don’t want to say too much as I like to avoid giving spoilers even if the game is older, but I’ll just say even when he’s struggling mentally and being not as nice, it was still super good. They knew what they were doing with the CGs in his route.

I also enjoyed that his route is technically longer than others since his after ending give an extra four days of content. Overall I just really really loved his route. It was so fun to play, even when it made me angry or sad, I still absolutely loved it! I think it really wraps things up and ends with all the characters getting to be happy if you get the AE Good ending, which I really enjoyed. Playing this was so satisfying especially since I did stop playing in 2017 and never got to experience this before. It was such an amazing experience, and I was so happy to see all my boys happy.

Final Thoughts

Another Story is so rough, the chat room times suck, there are calls after practically every chat. The content can be pretty heavy and dark. And it definitely made me really feel things both good and bad. I cried multiple times in both routes.

I really love this game and I’m so happy to have gotten to replay it this year and finally finish it. I know there’s a lot of mixed feelings about Cheritz in the community, but I’m so grateful for this game.

I genuinely love the characters and stories we get to see. If I had to pick a favorite I really don’t think I could. It’s probably a three way time between Jumin and the twins, I absolutely adore all three of them, next would be Yoosung, then Zen, then Jaehee, and V would be dead last. This game has such great characters I really do love them all and often just want them all to be happy. Even characters I hate or feel very angry towards I usually just want them to be happy by the end. I really enjoyed Ray’s Good AE as the true end to the game.

I’m going to miss this game, but I’ll probably play it more in the future. I haven’t done any bad ends because I’m general they make me too sad and I want everyone happy. But I might play Jumin’s BE 2, and the AE that goes with that, just because I’m very curious. I’ll also probably play the Christmas and April Fools DLC when those holidays come around. But I probably won’t make posts about them.

V's a hot topic that's coming into the picture only in the middle of his AE..

At first we all believe, the RFA just like Saeran, that he's also the victim of Rika's actions and needs rescuing. I'm pretty certain that's the reason why Saeran at first sees V the way he sees himself.

It wouldn't surprise me it changes once Mc gets dragged to his house, accompanying the couple and the older twin. Personally, the moment V takes the phone from Seven, that's the second I realized.. he's not a good guy anymore..

He's trying and doing what he thinks is the only way.. But it's obvious he's also trying to shield Rika and make her happy. Even if it means using the twins for that. On one hand he's trying to protect them, but on the other... Yeah.

V gets a lot of hate in Saeran's AE and honestly.. I understand that. All his decisions are based on her being his priority and treating her almost like a child that you need to touch with velvet gloves. And even Rika's suffocated by that at times, it's not just us.

Seven loses his fait in V as the first. But I think Saeran will quickly follow after finding out what he'd been doing to his brother.. 🎀

MYSME-FICTOBER 26 OCT ‘22

October 25th 2022

He sat in front of the tombstone, idly plucking at some errant weeds. With a sigh he pushed the blond hair falling over his eyes back. There were no tears in his amethyst eyes. The well had run dry long ago. Honestly, he didn’t know why he kept coming. After everything she’d done, he should walk away and never look back. But she was his cousin, and she was responsible for much of the way he lived his life. Even if the reality was that she didn’t have any of those qualities.

He still did. She had provided a path to being a better person and Yoosung had believed her. Now he was on that path, even if she truly never was herself. It was a contradiction for sure. He was thankful that he had someone to look up to and try to emulate. Her death was a mystery, and still he wondered if it was true this time.

After Zen had sent her away there was no way to get in touch with her. Letters from her sometimes arrived, but it was like a child had written them. Once the truth had come out, both he and Zen had been livid. It had taken weeks before Yoosung could look Saeran in the eye, it was still difficult. All the times he’d been praising his cousin to his face! It had been cruel, but Saeran didn’t blame him.

He sighed and shook his head, why was he even here? Why did he still come here?

“Why? Why would you do this?” he asked, knowing he would never get an answer. “How could you do it? Hurt so many people? Help me understand!” he clenched his fists but there was nothing he could focus his anger on. Anger at his cousin! At the world! At himself!

“Why?!” he screamed.

“Because I could.” The voice was in his ear startling him. He veered around and slammed his back into the tombstone. In front of him stood Rika. It was how he remembered her, long flowing blond hair, a beautiful smile…but. Her eyes, her green eyes, there was something missing in them. She floated above him, body transparent. The smile he had always admired turned from beautiful to terrifying in an instant. She bent, her face less than an inch from his.

“And do you know what else little Yoosung? I enjoyed it! The power! The worship! I could get them to do anything I wanted!” she laughed and floated back.

Yoosung swallowed, too scared to move.

“What’s the matter? Have you lost that little boy crush you had on me? I enjoyed that too you know. Having you follow me around like a little puppy. It was delicious!” she said. “That’s exactly where you should be, on your knees before me! And now that I have no earthly body to hold me back, that is exactly where you all will be!” her words escalated as she spoke, sounding crazier and crazier.

“Mine! It will be all mine once and for all. The power! I feel it inside of me. Mint Eye will rise again and nothing will be able to destroy it ever again!”

“You’re crazy!” Yoosung managed to squeak out. He rose slowly, using the cold stone at his back.

Blond hair swirled with anger as she turned to glare at the obstinate youth.

“How dare you! How dare you try and defy me! You could be part of something magnificent! Follow me Yoosung, you know you want to.” Her wrath turned to cajoling and sweet smiles. But the rose colored glasses had forever been torn off his face in regards to his cousin.

“Follow you? How could I? You are part of the reason the man I love will always suffer in some way. You are the reason his trauma has been increased a thousand-fold. Follow you?! Never!” he screamed, standing defiantly against the wraith.

“Love?” she whispered. “You know nothing about love. I loved Saeran. I gave him a purpose. I gave him power!”

“You gave me lies!” Saeran stepped out from behind a tree, glaring at the spirit as it whipped around and snarled at him, teeth growing into needles, mouth grotesquely large.

“Saeran! What…” Yoosung was surprised to see his lover in the graveyard. His red hair blew across his face in the wind, mint green eyes ablaze with resentment.

The eyes softened as he met Yoosung’s gaze.

“How dare you! How dare you! How dare you!” Rika wailed, wind stirring up debris and dirt from the ground in a funnel around her.

“Enough!” Saeran yelled above the cacophony, his left hand outstretched in front of him. The power in his voice was palpable. So pressing that Yoosung fell back down against the tombstone.

Rika’s wraith froze, eyes finally filling with fear.

“Not another word.” Saeran clipped out through clenched teeth. He neared the wraith slowly. “I’m glad you’re here Rika. I can finally expel you from my psyche. Always there, but no longer having any power over me. You are nothing! You were nothing but a child wanting to be worshiped. You don’t care about anyone but yourself. No MORE!” he squeezed his hand as if he strangled her.

“N…o…plea…se…” Rika’s wraith pleaded, but it was useless. Saeran’s power was too much for her. The small amount of energy that fueled her being began to dissipate, she was disappearing. Once she was gone Saeran fell to the ground expended.

Yoosung rushed to him and took him in his arms. “How…” he started to ask but decided it didn’t matter. “Do you always follow me here?” he asked instead. Softly, not accusingly.

“I just want you to be safe. She always brings you pain.” He whispered.

“I thought I hid it so well. I never wanted to remind you of…her. I’m sorry I worried you, but I guess there was good reason to. How did you do that?” Yoosung held him close, head on his lap.

Saeran smiled and reached a tired hand to caress the other man’s cheek. “I always worry about you. I love you. I love you so much.”

Yoosung returned the smile and bent over to give the man a kiss. “Let’s go home.”

Saeran nodded and let Yoosung help him up. They walked away, neither men looking back at the broken and cracked stone.

I finally got Ray's good ending! Gosh it was difficult for me, I played so many times and everytime got stuck on bad ending 1 or normal ending... finally!

But omg V is stupid or just too naive, wth??? He can do anything as long it is for Rika... he's my problematic fave

Kinda feels bad for seeying him going though that path but can do nothing because I'm happy with Saeran

Anyway, Seven still missing huh? He will show up in the AE, right? Ok don't tell me, I don't like spoilers lol

Now I need to collect 300 hourglasses :( this will take a while

I'm going to play the Jumin route now, I can't deal with all Mint Eye's bullshit in Another Story once again (Rika seriously gets on my nerves but deep down I still feel sorry for her). I want a fun route, and seeing Jumin "catching" feelings for MC is pretty funny to me saidjaisdihfhadf

Okay I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries about cults and it reminded me so much of plotlines in mystic messenger and i need to word vomit about it for a second

(assume any and all spoilers for post saeran AE)

I don’t remember at the end of which route where it is vaguely stated that Rika goes to jail and V maybe also is on trial of some sort? And also i’m like in the US and don’t know how the law system in korea would theoretically work but like it’s so much to consider when you think about the Mint Eye and how it operated.

Cults are just Absolutely Horrifying and I don’t think it’s easy to grasp it conceptually. Like how many people did Rika enlist? What happens to the “believers” at the end of any of the game plots? What kind of people became believers? Were there people who stayed Loyal to Rika even after she was taken down? What would a trial of this caliber (Rika…V….Saeran?…Prime minister…RFA…Hacker boss guy) like. What the hell

Something so heavy on my mind too is like. I’m thinking specifically of the NXIVM cult where the lines between who was harming others and simultaneously being harmed became blurred. And I see a lot of that in the case of V because again IDK anything about the law but the biggest issue with him is that he was in a situation where he was the adult and saeran and saeyoung were children and he and rika were responsible for their safety and like one ends up in an insane secret agency (which is never REALLY explained like why the fuck did V even know this thing existed???????) and the other ends up abused by rika. And like V was ALSO abused by Rika. Like completely and utterly. How would that fly in a criminal investigation?

I think Rika gets a Max Sentence and V does like Some Time and has to do community service? I really have no idea what the answer is. I would think that V having been abused by Rika did not leave him in a state of sound mind throughout but damn.

But yeah also just the fact that you’re deeply traumatized after the experience Saeran had. I think the government would just give the twins. a ton of like Sorry About That money and they can just live quietly but 😭 it’s so frustrating to think about the blasé way cheritz handled the whole thing where its like okay its over now time for the mc and saeran to kiss now like No! it’s time for therapy 😭😭😭

A Small Character Analysis of Saeran (Mostly) and Seven

MYSME SPOILERS (kinda) (GENERAL STORY + RAY ROUTE/AE)

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but I think it's kinda interesting how Saeran/"Unknown" of the original story is also flirtatious (albiet in a creepy & threatening way), just like how he is in his route. I personally believe he does have a romantic personality, but the years in Mint Eye seriously twisted this aspect of his, and then he does it just to scare or creep people out (or at least MC out), while in AS it hasn't gone to that point and he's just a sweetheart about it.

Now that I think about it, he also has some moments in AS (post days 7-9 of his route) where he does (playfully) tease MC. Unknown in original story also has a tendency to tease people (once again, in a more sadistic and threatening manner rather than light hearted), so I think that probably is another "personality trait that got twisted in a bad way."

On a slightly similar note, I saw someone on Tumblr say they think Unknown's sadism could be mirroring Saeyoung's own sadism, and how the former's could be seen as a contrast to if Saeyoung had no boundaries or care for others & his sadism is completely unleashed. Considering that in Ray's AE during a dream (Yeah I know it's a dream, but it's written in a way where I think the writers' were implying this is how they'd act), while teasing MC, Saeran makes a comment about it being "a thing between him and his brother," and all the other parallels made between them, I think that could actually have merit.

I think this is the opportunity to get separate title screens of GE Saeran and Saeyoung, don't you think? I mean, it's been a while since these brothers celebrated their birthday in their respective timelines, currently it has taken place in AS Saeran's story. Now I do want to see Saeyoung and his MC together happily maybe flying in a spaceship hahaha.

Don't get me wrong I loved these years seeing the twins together celebrating happily as they deserve but I think they can go back to being with their MCs in separate title screens. Since the title screens are likely to be based on AE's... What's stopping Cheritz from having SE Saeran appear together with Saeyoung and his MC? I miss that redhead and I think he could have appeared in several title screens with Saeyoung these years but Cheritz doesn't want to :'(

I love seeing the twins together, too. But, I also want to see them separately because as much as I want them to stand together as a family once again, they are also individuals. They have a life outside of each other. They'll always be family, but their MCs are family, too! Show me content for the After Endings specific to each brother so I get to smile at the different universes.

I want to see Saeran and his MC together post RAE and I want to see Saeyoung and his MC post SE! I want Saeran and his MC in a garden, sipping tea and sharing snacks. I want Saeyoung and his MC working together in his toy shop, tinkering and playing with the stock!

But, even if they were to do a single photo, I would give them a couple hundred dollars if they would just set it in the Secret Ending. There is only one photo of SE Saeran in existence. I would like another one, preferably in high quality, and I'm offering them all the money in my wallet to make it happen.

I honest to God don't know why they haven't done it because at this point, there is no need to hide it, no more fear of spoilers anymore. They used Suit Saeran and Vanderwood on the title screen. Those two are technically spoilers if you haven't gotten to them in the game, so there is nothing stopping them in my opinion.

Because, the only thing I could rationalize over the years as to why they didn't use it was because it was a spoiler. But, if you're willing to put content on the main screen that’s a “spoiler", then you can use SE Saeran. I'm right there with you, Anon, give us some content with the Secret Ending! I don't even mind if MC is not there. I would just love to see their new family dynamic displayed in more artwork!

Right lads, I’m gonna do a daily commentary on Saeran’s AE because damn I gotta vent lol

I think it goes without saying, SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT! Long post ahead. And lot’s of screenshots (did not know there was an image limit on tumblr post lol had to whack the collaging app). A lot happened guys, and I have a lot of feelings.

Day 1!

First, a few initial thoughts

I forgot about the pure anxiety of picking the right chat choices lmao. This is not a game for over thinkers lemme tell ya

Really REALLY appreciated the current lack of 3am chat rooms lol. It went from 12am to 9am and it was GLORIOUS

Saeran is an absolute cherub and I will be watching him like a hawk

Okay, some general thoughts about day 1:

This suspense with Saeyoung is genuinely killing me. Like I NEED him to be okay in the end. The panic from his visual novel was so real. I actually can’t think about it too much without getting upset lmao

Seriously concerned about V’s character. I'm praying that they don’t villainise him and he can have a happy ending. Saeran got a happy ending in V’s ae, and it’ll be so upsetting if V doesn’t get the same from Saeran’s.

Rika is straight up pissing me off. I’m sorry to say it, but she is. I don’t know if I’m just moody today bc usually I can either just brush her off or find a way to sympathise for her (not excuse her actions, just make an effort to understand her) but today I just couldn’t do it. It’s not even like...genuine anger she’s just annoying me hahah (pretty sure I’m just hormonal or something, but we’ll see lol)

And if she brings up Saeran’s mother and tries to push the idea that she herself is like a mother to him I will personally twat her round the head.

Oh, or if she talks about Jumin again. I will protect my bois if it’s the last thing I do.

The call from Driver Kim was the only saving grace of the day. What a wholesome man.

Seeing V and Rika be all domestic and ‘normal’ in some chats/on the spaceship thing was...unsettling. It makes me even more concerned for V...

Basically, I am afraid of what’s going to happen next.

Mystical Chess

It occurred to me while I was playing Saeran's AE. But this post doesn't really have spoilers. Perhaps some, but mildly. As always the choice it's yours.

MC - King (yes, it's the king, not the Queen. Sorry, but, without MC, there's no game. Also, if something happens to MC, GAME OVER ⬇️⬇️ ✨*proof*✨

So once we have that clear, we can focus on the rest of the characters. And I'm gonna talk about this as a whole and that of course includes Casual, Deep and Another story, not gonna say a lot of things but it can be a bit spoilerish.

Now you don't have to agree with me on this, but I'm using my whole M.M. Theory for this analysis, so yes, I AM aware that there are some parts missing (I haven't finished with this theory) and some other that I pulled them out of the hat like a rabbit. Please bear with me. And if you have any questions or notice something off, you can tell me. I can try to make some kind of explanation for it. I'm a writer crappy but writer after all lolol so here we go;;;

Jaehee: Due to her predictability, she would be straightforward as a tower

Saeran and Saeyoung:

It was Saeran's persona in the AE that made me think of this but at the same time if we take into account his whole persona, and not just his AE, he would be a Knight. He's unpredictable, and can take you by surprise, cofcofhackercofcof just like knights. Saeyoung too.

And I'm not talking about this lightly, if you guys see my post on the Choi's relationship and my post about Saeran's being the Final Ending, you would realize that even in the main prologue, especially the bad ending in the prologue of the Casual Route, Saeran's willing to do anything to make MC play her part in this game.

Plus considering how Saeyoung reacted in Saeran's AE with Jumin... I think it's clear that these two are MC knights. Even when she doesn't want to.

You guys have no idea how many times my younger brother kills me only with his knights. They're incredible, unpredictable, high skilled, can get themselves almost out of any situation and they're truly dangerous. Now, that to me sounds like the twins. And I'm trying!! I swear!! It's one of my biggest concerns when we talk about chess. If I were playing blacks I would try to kill the knights as soon as possible because otherwise they would be a pain in the ass. So yes, that proves my point.

Jumin & Rika: they'd both be Bishops. Both are sharp, but direct in their methods and can be dangerous, Jumin's powerful but so is Rika and definitely you don't want to mess with them.

Elizabeth the 3rd: (BUT SHE'S A CAT!!) Yeah I know... But she's the most important piece of this game. She's definitely a Queen. Without her, Jumin loses his power. And so does Jumin's dad and the C&R.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then read Saeran's AE. Not going to say anything else on the matter. But I do think she's important for Jumin as well.

Zen, Yoosung and Vanderwood: Yes, Vanderwood too. It seems to me that even though Vanderwood is part of the Agency, he still keeps the secret about MC. And not just on 707 route but in the others too, since he's almost always cleaning Saeyoung house. Now, he and Yoosung, even Zen, would be pawns. First things first, don't get offended by this please. I beg you. Pawns are actually quite dangerous pieces if used well. You can even check mate with pawns only. So I'm not belittling them. But to be honest, most of the time they are the ones that follow orders from someone else, help, defend or get into trouble. They're the frontline. Because another thing with pawns is, they can't go backwards. And to be honest once we think about it that's how Yoosung is, he only goes forward. So does Zen, perhaps because his role as an actor, but it's quite difficult to move when you're in the spotlight. And Vanderwood? Well, the Agency still has a lot of power over him, and in Saeran's AE, his only choice it's to go forward because otherwise they will kill him for disobeying orders.

V:

You can fight me on this but since he's always receiving orders from Rika I'm thorned between him being another pawn and him being a tower. So for now I'm leaving him as a tower because I'm still lacking of one plus he can be quite scheming, but he's mostly forward (in the sense that you understand whatever allegory he is talking about because you know the game. If you're trying to play V's route without playing Deep and Casual, go back. You're making a mistake.) whenever he talks. He's definitely good at hiding things, but pretty straightforward when it comes to attack... see Saeran's AE. But also his whole route and how much power he has. So unlike pawns, he moves several steps from time to time.

Why do I put him on the white side? Because the" bad ones" aren't the RFA members. They're only reacting to the baddies. The real baddies anyway.

We don't have enough power to make the board game of the black ones. We do know to some extent that Rika was trying to fight with some of these and got trapped in middle. It didn't helped her that she's mentally ill. And no, the Agency isn't after Saeran or Saeyoung. That would be the prime minister. To me, personally it didn't seem like the Agency was putting a lot of effort into this whole thing (Saeran's AE spoilers) so let's say, their plan is different. But there's not enough data to give a proper result. I'm sorry.
