Hello are you still doing the SAGAU for reader gets mad and blowing up at people for certain characters? If you are can you do traveler or Lumine if you don’t want to do a general head cannon and fischl still? I’m so angry about how many NPC world quests that now seem like a pattern of traveler helps and then gets backstabbed and left to die and just really think those NPC need to under stand the gravity and anger of the players.
Hello, @celestialsiren! Yes, supposedly, I am still doing this series lol—I don't see why I should end it, seeing as there's always new characters that people request for. Ofc I'll do the Traveler!
Click Me For Part 1!
Click Me For Part 2!
Click Me For Part 3!
Reader Defending the Traveler! (Also No Vice Versa)
(Disclaimers: This May be OOC, And This Post Will Mainly be Using Lumine as "The Traveler." However, This Post Still Can Be Read as GN!Traveler or Aether.)
Lumine
To be frankly honest, I think you (the Reader) would feel pretty connected to Lumine. She's understanding, she's calm, and most importantly, she gets what it's like not to be from Teyvat. She's passed the celestial atlas to venture the world that is Teyvat, only to be prevented by the Unknown God.
Safe to say, you both were like two peas in a pod. And you were willing to travel with her and find her brother. Lumine gets you a lot, and you refuse any harm coming her way.
That includes verbal complaints. Like, honestly—Lumine's done so much for Teyvat for an outlander, and this is how they treat her?! You weren't having it.
So you planted your foot down, and boy, was your glare menacing. Your words were harsher than the blizzards of Dragonspine, and your glare was as menacing as the Dead Skeleton of Orobashi in Watatsumi Island.
Anyone who you deemed as enemy—in this situation, these good-for-nothing, took-for-granted gossipers—was paling at the seems of the Almighty Creator stomping their egos down. And, not gonna lie, Lumine kinda likes watching some of them. Some of the insults you used were actually used in other worlds—something only Lumine would know, but others didn't. It was kind of hilarious.
Alas, she can't have you go around and go all out all the time. Someone needs to make sure that the Creator doesn't try to decimate random folks, even if they are pretty infuriating.
"Your Grace." Lumine puts her hand on your shoulder. "Let's hurry up and finish this commission. We still need to get those rewards." You huff, but you let the insulters go, without a threatening note.
Yeah...she was not expecting to be an occurrence with so many other characters, but hey! Lumine's not gonna stop you :)

How some characters would go about courting Paimons mama
VENTI:
-you would pick up on your daughter calling Barbatos,The god of freedom, the anemo archon,"tone deaf bard",made you hold in a laugh not be disrespectfull
-Venti will think that you agree with him being tone deaf and feel sadness wash over him,do you not like his songs? He'll be better at them he promises!
-god your daughter knew that she would get away with it,not just cause shes a child, but cause shes your child
-you reassure him dont worry and his happy
-but man dudes is love starved
-he clungs onto you like a new born (if you allow him to even be near you)
-Paimon isnt too thrilled about him acting like hes your kid,she is,you came down here to reunite with her
-Paimon wouldnt mind a second parent, that means more love, and you'll be happier (you did tell you wouldnt leave her again)
-but Venti? Yeah no,mans has to prove himself one way or another
-he will sing Paimon and you so many songs
-spoil you with everything he can (he admitted being Barbatos to be able to have VIP acess to you like all the other archons and important people)
-Paimon and him share a playfull tone and would absolutely mess with others,so this might actually work
-what do you say your grace? Venti is already worshiping you like never before
ZHONGLI:
-1# follower comin' throught
-hes so polite and devoted, being your slave would be such an honor to him,but being your husband? Your daughters father?
-he doesnt care who he has to go through
-Paimon doesnt know if she wants a dad whos so bad with the literal thing he made from his hands
-Zhongli will serve you and praise you theres no tomorow,Paimon aswell
-hes telling her the best tales he knows, spending way too much on food and toys (thats more like a point for childe but-)
-his shield is on him 24/7 with either of you with him in the wild
-but like you have power over all the elements and slay so like dont know why he does this but oh well
-he is and always will be your most devoted your grace, isnt that worth something?
CHILDE:
-spoils you and Paimon
-Zhongli isnt getting that much money from him cause now hes competiton
-Paimon and Teucer deffinetly are having playdates to get to know eachother and have fun
-they might end up being family if Childe succeds after all
-Paimon didnt like the idea of you marrying a fatui harbinger,so childe is on thin ice
-but Paimon is only so young, she could be convinced easily
-he is such a family man,hes perfect to be her father and your lover
-hes killed so many in your name, and he will leave the fatui if you wish, just consider it
TRAVELER:
-this is probably the easiest and we all know why
-they were with your daughter for so long,no one knows them like you both do,its only natural
-Paimon will however go "oh come on! Not you too! Why is everyone so intrested in Paimons mom!?"
-after all you both have control over all the elements in a way,so theyre perfect
-you took them as a vessel for a reason, right?
-but abyss twin?
-alot of drama
-Paimon is gonna tell them that if they even wish to be near you, theyd have to reconcile and apologize to the traveler!
-"say less" Paimon isnt even able to finish her sentence
-but yeah things will be difficult but oh well

Imagine getting Isekaid into genshin. Getting called a god and being worshiped.
But you didn't care, why should you? The only thing that you cared about was finally meeting your favorite character in person
It was a dream come true! Maybe if things went well between you two you could even date them!
Until it wasn't.
Finding out that they had an S/o truly made your heart break. Watching them be so lovey dovey infront of you made you sad and envious.
You wanted to hate their S/o but you just couldn't, they were so sweet and naive, acting as if you are their parent. Telling you about all of their problems and trusting you nonetheless.
You wanted to get rid of them but you couldn't, not when Your favorite was having so much fun with them, smiling and holding hands while they bowed down to you.
Always smiling when they see you, running towards you and hugging you.
It felt like being in a Drama, having the role of the evil bratty antagonist that wanted to get with the protagonist's lover.
And you knew what happened to the villains when they tried, so you stepped down. For now.

Okay but idea for SAGAU for something silly that just happened
so i was like playing with my sister right??? And she's like 4 and i thought genshin was like mostly PG so i decided to play with her because my mom always ask me to spend more time with her so we can bond and be more united, and i love my mom so i said yeah sure and i just finished the liyue Archon quest yesterday so i was doing that an involuntary sacrifice quest thing no? So we just go into the domain all happy go lucky when KABOOM the upside down venti statue and the dead treasure hoarder, i audibly gasp and my sibling runs away crying and now me and my mum are laughing while she combs my hair, so i thought it would be funny if this was a sagau scenario and you're the first sagau writing blog i scrolled by so i wanted to know ur take on it XOXO
Anon this is absolutely hilarious but I feel so bad for your sibling-
Hilarious happenstance aside, this kind of thing would be rather interesting for SAGAU! Depending on whether or not this is a regular SAGAU with an adult Creator, or if we take my Godling AU and use that, it could give some pretty interesting results.
With a fully grown - or even just a teenaged - Creator, the emotional impact would be jarring and disturbing, but they would have the maturity and knowledge necessary to help with the situation. BUT, if we want to go the heartbreaking route...
Imagine, if you will, a little Godling Creator, eagerly following along behind the Traveler and Paimon. Still very young, baby fat still rounding out their cheeks, but still so excited to finally adventure with one of their favorite people. They hold onto the Traveler's hand the whole time at their insistence. While the Traveler has a bad feeling about all of this, they can't exactly say "no" to the Creator Incarnate...
They regret bringing such a little kid with them. The terror in their wide eyes as they stare at the defiled statue is a look that will haunt the star-traveling being for the rest of their life. And, oh, how their sweet little voice shakes as they cling to their guardian, innocent eyes filling with tears as they mumble,
"What wrong with that 'batos...?"
The Traveler is quick to scoop the baby god into their arms, hurrying away from the statue and the corpse knelt before it. They duck and weave through the bubble traps, doing their best to console the godling all the while.
Things only go from bad to worse after that...

so this is for the abyss team comp thingy- my usuals are venti, ayaka, kokomi, and traveler,, im kinda interested in what kokomi and venti would do ngl HAHAH

STARS IN THE ABYSS sagau!genshin
Tumblr media
notes // hey hey hey anon!! thank you sm for requesting, i just love how this series is very well received with everyone :D i hope i can satisfy your curiosity <33 i used they/them for the traveler since you didn't specify which one you're using, i hope this is alright :)
navigation // stars in the abyss
Venti
He doesn't like the abyss, not only because the beings of the abyss hurt his friend, but being forced to fight in it cuts his time in the tavern short. And he doesn't like that at all.
He will do his best to assist his fellow adventurer in the abyss, and it's quite interesting to get to know the two inazuman girls. Both of them are powerful vision holders and he's glad he's not completely alone in this.
But, he has to say, he is also very glad the Traveler is with him. They are powerful and their talent to use three elements... is quite helpful. Yet he can't help to brag a little, his winds are always a bit harsher and more harmful in the abyss.
Ayaka
Ayaka would like to ask why she's here, and if this is some kind of punishment. For what, she doesn't know, but it has to be! Why else should she be fighting in the abyss?
Other than that, she can finally go out (and isn't this a bit of a relief, her fear of hurting others with her strength doesn't make much sense in the abyss). Over the several times visiting the abyss, or well, getting forced to fight there, she slowly became smarter in her use of her cryo vision.
But she also got closer to Kokomi, whom she hadn't actually known that well before that. Of course, rebelling against the Raiden Shogun somewhat connected them, but fighting side by side bonds them much closer.
Kokomi
Kokomi is very wary of the abyss. Too many strange things had happened to and around her lately and fighting in the abyss definitely counts as a strange thing.
Luckily, her combat skills haven't lost their edge, still sharpened from the front lines of the Rebellion she lead. And while she could do a fair amount of damage, she is takes her role as the healer of her group very seriously.
In private she muses about the strange group, Venti the drunken bard, Ayaka and the Traveler, all of them strong vision holders, yet many can't help to underestimate them. Maybe that's why they were brought together?
the Traveler
They hate the abyss with all their heart. Not only had it taken their sibling, but also deny the contact to them. It's unfair and they just want to scream. At the universe, at the unknown goddess, at the abyss. Anything responsible for them being here is fine.
Besides that, they're happy they're not alone in the abyss. Kokomi is a strong healer and both Ayaka and Venti are strong fighters- clearing the abyss is fast work and they make a good team.
And yet it leaves them bitter every time, leaving the abyss with no more information about their siblings, still knowing nothing.
Outside of the abyss, Venti would randomly visit Inazuma more, it gives him inspiration, or so he says. Ayaka and Kokomi on the other hand start sending letters to each other and form a close friendship. Ayato is happy his younger sister has more friends now, but does eye Venti with a bit of disdain.

Can I request SAGAU with reader coming into Teyvat but being very hush hush about it and they get a job at Wangshu inn or something but one day they end up cutting themselves and boom golden blood? Sorry if this is too specific
Don’t apologize, I love this idea!
I have so many ideas for this one ranging from crack to angst hskakdk
Let’s say that all the documents about the creator have vague descriptions so they aren’t too sure about your appearance. The only key signs of being the creator are golden blood and crystal like tears.
I hope you like it! I think this may be my first request ^.^
Yandere!SAGAU x Secret!Creator!Reader Part 1
Your arrival to Teyvat is sudden. One second you had fallen asleep at your desk after a long night. The next second you lift your head and you’re in a completely new environment.
Surrounded by greens and vegetables you note you’re on some sort of farm. You warily get off the ground, dusting off the dirt from your clothes. You look around hoping to figure out where and how you had ended up in this unfamiliar place.
However, what catches your eyes in the dimly lit farm, is a little glowing blue figure floating wispily.
A seelie?
Your heart drops and your eyes squint through the dark taking in more of your surroundings. Your eyes finally land on a large statue in the distance.
Your thoughts are confirmed as you drop to your knees, eyes locked on a Geo Statue of the Seven.
You’ve read the stories, you know what happens.
“Hello? Who is out there?” a shaky voice calls out. You want to get up and run but the shock kept you in place.
An old man makes his way over, holding a lantern over you. The light illuminates your worry-stricken face. Thoughts run wild in your head as the old man helps you into his home.
Not wanting to risk being chased by all these powerful characters thinking you’re an imposter, while also afraid of being confined by obsessive acolytes, you think it’s best that your arrival to Teyvat is kept a secret.
The farmer that found you, a widowed man with no offspring, decides to take you in. To avoid feeling like a burden, you help out the old man in anyway you can, starting with farming. As if the land is trying to show their love for you, the vegetables you plant grow absurdly quick. They grow larger than the farmer had ever seen before. Vegetables farmed by your hand come out with the perfect texture and consistency. To the farmer, you’re like an angel descended from the skies.
It isn’t long before the old farmer’s business booms with the best vegetables in the market. However, he’s become too old and it’s become too difficult for him to transport all of these vegetables from his isolated little home to the shops down in Liyue Harbor.
You volunteer to do it for him. It’s the least you could do in return for him letting you stay rent free. Despite your willingness, you still can’t fight the anxiousness that comes with traveling in Teyvat.
The first time you enter Liyue Harbor, your hands are so sweaty you nearly drop the boxes of vegetables you are holding. Staying the whole day to sell vegetables in Liyue Harbor means that you are exposed. But when you finally came across your favorite characters, you realize you worried for nothing.
You first meet the Traveler and Paimon. The exchange is simple. They buy a few of your vegetables then leave to Wanmin restaurant to use the stove to cook some meals.
Then you meet Xiao. One day, a group of Hilichurl’s almost attack you while you are transporting goods to Liyue Harbor. He quickly wipes them out while you hide behind the cart you are pushing. Xiao simply looks at you for no more than 5 seconds before disappearing.
After that, the worry of your face being recognized begins to fade. If it weren’t for your oddly golden blood, you would have forgotten that you’re the creator.
You become accustomed to living life in Teyvat. It is peaceful. No exams or deadlines. Such simple tasks done day by day. You spend one day farming and the next transporting vegetables. You sit at your little shop selling items before heading home and helping out the old man. It’s not super easy but it’s a lot less stressful than your life before.
Everyday you get to bask in the sunlight and enjoy fresh air while you admire the scenery you had only ever seen through a screen. You are content and happy.
Until one day you accidentally make the smallest mistake.
Xiangling is a regular of yours. Your vegetables are by far the best she’s ever had and you quickly become her source of ingredients for her dishes. She speaks so highly of you that Zhongli, one of the characters you fear most, decides to drop by your little shop.
His presence is intimidating with his golden eyes peering down at you and his tall stature towering over your little stall.
Despite his slightly domineering presence, his voice is as smooth and soothing as you remember it to be and you’re able to calm down enough to treat him like any of your other customers. You’ve already met many characters and none of them were able to recognize you. How could he be any different?
Except he’s not like the others.
He’s nearly 6000 years old. He’s seen things others haven’t and most importantly, he’s worshipped the existence of the creator far longer than any of the Liyue Citizens have been alive.
From the very beginning, he sensed that there was something different about you. Something familiar and oddly inviting. The former Geo Archon thought he knew everyone residing in Liyue but it’s his first time coming across you.
His eyes can’t help but follow your every move as you wrap up his box of vegetables. You finally finish tying up his box with some sturdy rope and grab a knife to cut off the long ends. Just as you’re cutting the rope, your hand slips.
The sharp knife slices shallowly into your opposite hand. Zhongli is only barely able to catch a glimpse of gold before you drop to the floor.
It isn’t the pain that’s brought you to your knees but the fear. You crouch over your hands, covering the wound as best as you can hoping with all your being that he hasn’t seen anything.
Both you and Zhongli can feel your hearts beating faster than ever before.
“Are you alright?”
The former Geo Archon attempts to walk over to the other side of the stall, when he hears the Traveler call his name. His attention wavers and it gives you just enough time to wipe your blood away and stuff the handkerchief into your pocket.
Zhongli glances at you amidst his conversation just to see you finish covering your wound with a bandage. Any trace of blood is gone and the wound is completely covered.
He walks away from the Traveler to speak with you. The geo archon’s eyes never once leave your hand as he stands in front of you.
“Is your wound alright?”
You nod waving your hand a little.
“Just a small wound,” you say, hoping he’d accept your answer and move on.
But he isn’t satisfied.
“Are you sure? It look like it hurt. It’s important to put some cream on it so it doesn’t get infected.”
“Of course! I’m a lot stronger than you think.” You smile before repeating his total. The Traveler ends up paying for the vegetables and the two leave, but not without Zhongli glancing a few more times at you.
When his figure completely fades, your smile drops.
It seems you’ve stayed a bit too long in Liyue.
Shaky hands clumsily pack up your stall as you race to close up the shop early and quickly head home before the Geo Archon decides to return.
While you rush, you don’t notice the small white handkerchief falling out of your pocket nor do you realize that the small piece of cloth would be the sole cause of the upcoming chaos that erupts throughout the nations of Teyvat.

aether isn’t quite human. at least not entirely, not anymore.
it could be argued that even prior to coming to teyvat, he and his sister weren’t entirely human. they were nearly always stronger than the native life wherever they traveled, never lingering long enough for an accurate portrait to be drawn. between their glittering wings and the razor sharp swords at their hips, it could be easily argued that from the perspective of the people they visited they could be called angels.
a few wrote legends about them. the gilded warriors with shimmering swords that blinded as they slashed, so in step with each other that it was as if they were one being. the saviors, the adventurers, the peaceful giants, twin faces atop four wings apiece. lumine always managed to sneak away a copy of these legends, and they privately laughed over the artwork at their camp that night.
“we don’t look that intimidating, do we?”
“i’m fairly certain-… hang on, is that a tail?”
“that’s supposed to my hair, i think.”
“no no, look. it connects lower, here.”
“…by the stars-”
they didn’t see themselves that way, though. they were simply twins, defined by the other in every sense. never apart for long, always stood side by side, trading swords before a dangerous fight as a promise to return them.
‘draw me with courage.’
‘wield me with valor.’
lumine and aether and aether and lumine. they never fussed about the order, so long as they were together. call them whatever you’d like, insults or praise or a simple, tired request to leave, as long as it was both of them. they were all they had left. the other half of their life. to try and pry apart the seam would only result in bleeding hearts, limbs tangling together to at least die by the other’s side. even ‘twin’ was too simple a word to fit the entirety of their lives into. ‘twin’ implied a degree of separation, an impossible gap between them where wind would blow and the world would dig into, pushing them away like waves in a boat’s wake. ‘twin’ was too shallow a word, to bitter, too small to encompass everything they felt.
such fervent devotion could never be considered ‘human,’ for no human would ever live long enough to know the fear that came with knowing everything that swelled would eventually fall. no human would clutch so desperately to the twin pillars in their life—would ever consider basing their world upon two things. they’d call it foolish, even, for what would you do if one collapsed?
aether never liked that question. he didn’t like it when he and lumine first heard it, he didn’t like it when he and lumine heard it a second time, he didn’t like it anytime he and lumine heard it after that. he didn’t like it now, her sword slipping from his hands as he reached, his fingers barely brushing hers.
the unknown god laughed, and he barely had time to feel rage before the world closed in on him and his memory faded away.
aether and lumine. lumine and aether. she was always insistent upon his safety, but just this once he wished she wasn’t. living in whatever stasis she was in within that cube would certainly hurt less than this, bile rising in his throat at his failure.
somewhere in his mind, he knew that it logically wasn’t his fault. he remembered the layer of warmth that had surrounded him mid-battle, saw the reflection of understanding in lumine’s eyes. it wasn’t technically his fault, he didn’t ask to be saved, ignoring that it was his own actions that led to his god’s blessing. perhaps if he wasn’t so strict about the time of his prayer he wouldn’t have to be alone on this beach, though there was no way to find out. the sand stretched on either side, and though it wasn’t infinite, he had not left the immediate area around where he’d first woken up. to move was to move on, to leave, to accept that his world had shattered into a thousand little fragments and to give up on picking them off the floor. he couldn’t leave. to leave was to surrender to this new fate. to leave was to forget about his sister, to forget about his self, to forget about the half of his life he never imagined he could lose.
family and faith. to lose his gods favor was a threat he could live with, as there would only be himself to blame. but his sister?
if he hadn’t fished up paimon, he’s not certain he would have eaten the fish that came up instead.
she was bright, bubbly, at least after coughing up an impossible amount of seawater. she thanked him profusely while wringing out her hair, insisting on helping him in return because “it’s only fair!” as if he wasn’t three times her weight (save her magic) and and ten times as strong.
and he let her. he’s not sure why, but he did. he watched her fumble to catch crabs, ending up covered in sand, and managed a weak smile. it was for her, he told himself, spearing three with a sword that wasn’t his, helping her arrange driftwood into a measly campfire. he hardly felt hungry despite being on the beach for what had to be a few months in local time, but she was so insistent that he have some.. it was for her benefit. he just had to get her somewhere safe, then… then…
“so, where are you from?”
aether looked up from his barely-touched meal, meeting her eyes. they were so wide and earnest, too trusting for someone that just met him.
not that he had any ill intentions. no, lumine would always joke that the day he was willingly rude to another would be the day the sky turned red—something that had been the case on one of the planets they’d visited, much to her delight.
aether turned back to the fire, pushing aside the memory. “another planet.” his voice was hoarse and his throat scratched with salt from attempting to drink the seawater earlier, which was not as potable as he’d hoped. “i flew here with my sister.”
“you have a sister?” paimon looked around, though they both knew she wouldn’t find anything. “where is she?”
aether swallowed salt and bile, taking another bite of his crab just to stall. “how about we talk in the morning?”
she let the topic drop.
he didn’t sleep that night, lending her his scarf as a pillow and keeping watch. she didn’t wake when the moon erased the shadows in the sand, or when the sun first crested the sea, or when the sky fully lightened to a pale blue, birdsong filling the air. one of the remnants from the fire found its way into his hand, reaching out to gently shake her awake. her eyes were heavy and she covered her mouth as she yawned, aether looking away before his own could water.
he drew nothing in the sand as she asked her questions—who are you, where’d you come from, who are you missing, what happened to her, why didn’t you do anything?—sketching out mountains and seas he wiped away as soon as they took form. he spoke for much longer than he meant to, his words pulled out as if they were tied to some invisible string.
when was the last time he was alone for this long?
paimon listened intently, brows drawn and frowning deeply, watching as he carved twin—twin, separated by time and space—stars into the sand. “so… what you’re trying to say is that you fell here… from another world? but when you wanted to leave, to go on to the next world, your path was blocked by some unknown god?”
wow, he wanted to snark, i didn’t know there was an echo out here! but the chance never came. magic gripped him by the throat and his eyes went wide in panic, his mouth shaping words he didn’t choose to say by force. he didn’t want to say what someone else told him to. he didn’t know what was going on. he was being pulled at some ghost’s whims, walking stiffly across the sand. it did not skid from beneath his feet, nor pull his balance one way or another. it was solid as stone, leading him up the beach without warning, without knowledge of why or when it would stop.
when was the last time he was this helpless?
(lumine.)
he stumbled across the shore on uncoordinated limbs, fighting fruitlessly. ahead, slime bubbled up from where the sand met the sea, but the ghost did not stop. mist coagulated into a pale blue blob with hazy spots for eyes, and only then was he allowed to stop. paimon yelped and ducked behind him, a familiar weight sinking into his hand. the slime had barely the chance to turn and see him, jerking up as if surprised, when his arm slashed forward.
a sword. not his sword, not lumine’s sword, but a sword, pulled from nowhere, the dull blade hacking at the blob of its own will until the sludge dispersed and sunk back into the sand. a soft mist lingered above the sand, but he was pulled forward without care or remorse. he didn’t even know if it would have hurt him.
weight hit him between the shoulders, cold spreading over his skin and absorbing into his skin. energy buzzed beside his ear, his earring humming with neither outlet nor conduit. were he anyone else, he would have been afraid, but he recognized the buzz. all at once, he understood. all at once, the weak puppetry was vindicated, his muscles relaxing and letting it happen. your energy sank into him, and he let himself stop worrying.
if you were here, he’d be okay. if you were here, you could fix this.
if you were here, he could find his sister, and everything would be okay again.
Tumblr media
aether was not human. not entirely, not anymore, and he knew the people of mondstat could tell. you had stayed to guide his body for a week, alternating between helping the knights with dvalin and exploring the plains of mondstat. he was weak and your grip was frail, his attacks uncoordinated and clumsy, but you were there. you understood. the cavalry captain gave him a long stare as they exited his domain, a mix of curiosity and disbelief swirling in his one eye.
when you finally left, you did so in the middle of mondstat square. a physical weight lifted from his shoulders, the anemo he’d absorbed turning from calm and controlled to pushing at the edges of his form, trying to make him give. the anemo archon approached, soothing the wind with a wave of his hand, pulling him along for a drink and a chat. his knees did not want to bend without your command, his mind fraying a bit from continued exposure.
“how interesting, that you’re still standing after a week without rest,” the bartender remarked, the glass in his hands obviously an excuse to keep them above the bar. “what’s your name, outlander?”
he did not think of his own name. no, when he went to answer, he thought of the name you had given him, the one you whispered as you sheltered him from the unknown god’s wrath. it was not his, but it was yours, and wasn’t that what he was asking for?
it took too long for him to answer. red eyes narrowed but eventually chalked it up to exhaustion, giving him directions he couldn’t hear. the captain led him to a room in the back, but he didn’t sleep that night, sitting at the window and searching for the thin sliver of stars.
he didn’t need to eat anymore. he could, certainly, and it tasted fine enough, but he didn’t exactly need to. he’d thought it odd, at first, that barbatos was healed strictly by the wind, but he understood now. he spent his free time sitting under vanessa’s tree, half-asleep as he waited for your return.
you were his source of energy, of will. you knew answers to problems he’d have given up on, and if you didn’t then you tried and tried and tried again until you got it right. you were the power that purified dvalin’s tears, you swept the wind to fix the holy lyre, you cleared the seals around decarabian’s tower. he was a medium, and he was happy with that. your presence waxed and waned, the lapses without you seeming to pass by in a blink.
a few of the knights worried for him, but he knew your vessels understood. none held as much of your power as him, none were as reliant on you, but they understood. they excused his oddities with a kind smile, paimon always at his side to make sure he didn’t waste away the day simply sitting in one spot. prior to coming to teyvat, the concept of elemental sight was something he was only vaguely familiar with. a few planets had some talented witches that could feel the flow of energy through the ground and grass, who could watch the mist in the air and predict the weather. he’d never experienced it himself before. now, the world lit up as his eyes took on a teal sheen, your power mixing with the anemo within him to grant him insight. the world was so vibrant, even the most mundane sights capturing his attention. how could he not stare? if he had it his way he’d always view your creations like this.. but whenever paimon snapped him out of it he’d come out of it with a headache, not to mention his staring tended to be off-putting to those around.
a lot of his new behaviors were. when within your control, he moved stiffly, with repetitive motions forecast well in advance. you chose what he said, when and how he moved, you controlled the very flow of elements through his body. it was harder and harder to think for himself without you there and though paimon handled most of the conversation, there was only so much she could say.
“who are you looking for?” lumine. his sister. himself. the knowledge was there but his throat was closed, unwilling to move without your order.
“thank you for your help.” you’re welcome. don’t worry about it. it was nothing. all he could manage was a stiff nod, eyes flicking to the sky, counting the days until your return. he’d gotten a good grasp of your routine by now.
“who are you?” yours. a traveller. lumine’s. he could not blame those they ran across for their suspicion, even though he wanted to. could they not feel the remains of your presence lingering around him?
they had to go to the rite of decension soon. liyue was holding off, though, waiting for your arrival. they’d never dare to make you miss it, so aether felt no hurry to leave. he laid in the middle of windrise, staring up at the stars. he used to sit atop the knights’ headquarters, but it took too long for the lights of the city to turn out and he liked picking out the various constellations.
his was up there, somewhere. he didn’t have a vision like your other vessels, but he could feel it. it was written right beside your decision to save him and not lumine, alongside your actions in mondstat and everything you’d do in liyue. fate, you’d called it, well-acquainted and intertwined.
aether fell asleep on wet grass among cold wind. he did not get sick, nor was he attacked or otherwise hurt. why would he have been, anyway? your blood was in his veins; he had nothing at all to fear.

Part 2/3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"—Argh...! Stop it, Aether!" you scream in frustration, putting down your phone on the bed with an annoyed face.
it's been a few weeks since you started to play Genshin Impact after being tempted by your schoolmate to download the game. They already told you the gist of what you should know before starting the game itself.
But, they never mention about this game has the main character a self-aware implement into their character.
At first you notice the way Aether's face scrunched up in discomfort after the prologue. It makes you creep out but then you remember that your schoolmate has told you about a few of their self-aware elements, though they just told you about their reaction when you cancel their movements by jumping.
You assumed that your schoolmate probably wants you to experience it by yourself which is nice but a head up would be great too.
"Gacha game? more like a horror game." you snicker as you continue to play on your phone.
As time goes on, Aether's 'behavior' becomes worse. From making a lot of negative responses to you controlling him, now he even tries to defy your control over him by doing the opposite of what you want from him from time to time.
"Aether, you little shit! Stop swimming in a circle and go back to the shore repeatedly!" you shook your phone like crazy, and there was a small smile curled on Aether's face making your anger flame harder.
"T-this game is shit!"
While anger consumes you, you log out from the game.
You sigh leaning back to your gaming chair as you spin around on it before standing up, moving to your door, and walking down the stairs to grab some water.
because of this problem is the reason why you are slowly about to snap and quit this game.
You arrive at the kitchen, open the fridge, grab a small bottle of water, and quickly drink it up.
While doing so, you heard a rapid clicking on a keyboard coming from your sibling's room. A curious look on your face before you slowly walk to their and casually open the door by the knob.
There you see, your sibling screams while her finger moves steadily on the keyboard before slapping her hand on her table in frustration once she loses.
"GODDAMN IT!" Your sibling shouted, it looked like she had died fighting in the Spiral Abyss, no wonder.
"Calm down," you shook your head, walking inside to stand by your sibling. "You will wake Mom up from her sleep at this rate."
They turns to you, "Oh, you, sorry," she slowly calms herself down and sighs.
"This level just gets my shit up to a hundred, who told Hoyoverse that this is fine, all I wanted was the Primogem." They grumbles.
You softly rub her back with a small smile, "It's still many days left until the limited banner is gone, I am sure you will get em."
They put down their headphones, "Talk about it, what AR are you now?"
"Well, it's, I think...AR 23 or more..." You thought absentmindedly.
"That's quick," your sibling mused, "How is your experience so far as a beginner?"
"Well it's fun, I love the world-building, the colour, the gameplay, and the Ui..." You trailed, listing what you liked about the game until an irritated look appeared on your face that made your sibling perk at it. "Except for Aether!"
Your sibling flinched at your outburst before she raised a confused eyebrow at you, "Aether? The traveler?"
"Yes!" You grip your hand into a fist while seething in anger. "I don't know why they implanted such a feature, Like every time I try to play, he gotta need to defy my game control, it's creepy! He used to follow me but now he keeps making ugly faces at me like excuse me!"
"I really, really hate him!"
You keep rambling about your frustration with the traveler which leaves your sibling gaping.
"I don't think they have that..." Your sibling uttered out.
"Well, I did! And it needs to stop!"
"Do you contact Hoyo Customer Service? Is it probably a bug?" Your sibling suggested.
"I did but they never replied." You said crossing your arms.
"They probably will get back to you, one of these days since I am sure they have many people to attend to." Your sibling reassured.
"I hope so,"
Your sibling then chuckles, "But I don't think you would hate him for so long."
You frown with an eyebrow raised, "Why so?"
"They're gonna be a certain quest when you reach AR 28 or above which gives more lore about him." She elaborates.
"I don't think I would." You squint your eyes.
"Well the fact you still using the Traveler despite the bug he has, say so." She snickers, "Just give him a chance, hate the bug instead of him."
You scratch your cheeks and sigh, "We will see."
You decided to give the game, a second chance.
Tumblr media
"Aether, don't you think...you being too mean to the Creator?" She whispered scratching her cheeks floating, looking down on Aether crouching down inside the bushes.
They currently watching over a couple of boars walking with Aether having his sword in his grip.
Aether glances at Paimon before smiling, "Well, it's not that bad, it's a small price for them to control my body." He turns his attention back to the boars.
Paimon deadpanned, "What a lie! You just did that so they left early!"
He doesn't respond and just quickly dashes out from the bushes and thrusts his sword onto one of the boar, quickly he pulls back the other sword and slashes the boar sprinting toward him.
Quickly he used his Anemo ability to pull back the almost-escaping boars and slashed them in one go.
Blood splatter on his face, outfit, hair and his swords.
"Ah," he wiped the blood on his cheeks with his thumbs, "I need to get better at dodging the blood-splattered," He said out loud.
Aether suddenly flinched and turned his body to see another boar is running up to him.
"Hi-ya!" Paimon shouted, hitting the boars with a rock on the forehead. "Don't you dare to attack Aether!"
Aether blinked and smiled, "Thanks for the help, Paimon."
Paimon perks up and throws away the rock somewhere else, "Hehe, you're welcome~ praise me more~" she giggles happily.
"Now calm down," Aether chuckled.
Aether then gets to work after cleaning himself with a towel to cut the boar meat, one by one.
After that was done, Aether decided to sit down to open his notebook, and start writing some alphabet and spelling again.
Paimon sits down beside the Traveler, watching the letter he wrote with knowing looks.
"Is that the Creator's language?" She asked, quietly after watching her surrounding.
Aether nodded, "Yeah, I managed to decipher some of it."
"Oh! What is it? Let me see!" Paikon excitedly asked and leaned over to look at it.
Paimon curiosity slowly turned into a horrified look, "Did the Creator say that?"
"Yeah," Aether said amused at Paimon's reaction, "surprising huh?"
"There is a lot of cursing! Outrageous mean word!" She blinks rapidly, "The Creator has very interesting wording..."
"Most of the curse directed at me, I am not surprised." He smirked.
Paimon looks at Aether's face still has a smile and a fond look on his face. "You like them?"
Aether stops writing, "Huh?" He turns to Paimon.
"The Creator! Do you finally like them?" She excitedly asked.
"No!" Aether quickly stood up and took a step back, "Ain't no way! I just tolerate the Creator better than before!"
Aether is very obviously in denial with his cheeks adorned with pink blush, averting his eyes.
It's very true that Aether slowly but surely started to understand the creator, whether their language and their intention choosing him as a vessel.
The first word he managed to decipher is 'love' from the Creator's language, it's when Aether has fallen from the Statue Of Seven that the Creator for some reason controlled him to do so.
He had a fatal injury caused by that, and while he was whimpering in pain, he heard the Creator change of tone.
Aether's eyes widened, and he looked up at the sky, the creator rambled a lot but he could hear the concern and care for him which gave him goosebumps
"...Aether!$%-#&#!"
Aether perks up again when he hears his name between the rambling and his eyes widen more.
"...Aether&%$%...love#%#&#-!"
His lips parted when he understood the word, Aether's cheeks burned red and his eyes turned hazy.
He doesn't realize what happening to him but Aether for sure has stopped functioning at this time.
Aether shook his head from his flashback and continued to scribble some more. His ear is red as his scribbling becomes faster but much to his chagrin, the scene keeps playing in his head.
Paimon, who watching at his side had a small smile adorning her face. 'Aether surely has grown to like the Creator and that's good.
Both of them will stuck together until they reach their intended goal, they are both important to me, so please help each other."
Paimon hands intertwined. together to prayer, eyes closed with her forehead leaning to her clasped hands.
Until it's snapped open, Paimon turned her head with a frown. 'Who?'
She scanned the surroundings when she sensed something wrong again. 'Behind that tree." Paimon narrows her eyes.
She was about to move and check it out but suddenly Aether stood up which gained Paimon attention back to him.
"Aether? Why are you standing?" She called moving to him, "Where are we going?"
She tilted her head when Aether didn't answer her which was odd until she moved in front of him.
There she sees Aether standing still with his eye twitching in irritation. 'Ah, the Creator is back.'
Paimon smiles sympathetically at Aether.
Aether's body then quickly moved in a sprint which made Aether's eyes wide with Paimon followed in tow.
As they move away, neither Aether nor Paimon didn't realizes that someone is watching them from afar behind a tree, the arrow they grip in their hands is put away.
The unknown eye glints with mysterious light, "The Creator..." They breathe.
Tumblr media
You are lying down on the bed, empty and in pain.
There are tears stained under your eyes, your eyes are red from crying so hard for a long time. Akin to a person on the brink of death gate and barely gripping onto life.
"i can't believe it." you hiccup, "Lumine, why are you doing this?! Reunite with your brother, come on!" you shout in frustration, kicking your feet into the air.
You just recently finish the 'We will be reunited' quest and it broke you down from the inside hard. You are mad at Lumine but at the same you try to understand her but what actually fueled to your anger against her is Aether.
After the quest, Aether's face have trail of tears and hurt plastered that you didn't have a heart to do anything that often making you in verge of crying. Often you have started to not using Aether, in hope his expression will be better but it just become worse and you even begun to miss his smirk from before.
Everytime you try your best to help the boy even though it's probably a waste of time. After using him back again for daily mission, his face become focus like he try to pull his mind away from the events. It's like he try to move on, his expression look so real which should not be possible since Aether is a character game.
"I can't seem to leave him alone," You rub your eyes and slowly calming yourself down. Getting up from the bed you reach for your phone and open your messaging app.
After a back and forth messaging with your sibling and friend, you finally come to conclusion of what to do now.
You get back with soda and snack by your side as you open up Genshin Impact in your phone with a determined face.
"I can't believe that I am doing this for a game character that I hate..." you mutter as you sigh before focusing to the screen again.
Tumblr media
"My money..."
"OUR MONEY!" Paimon scream, "Why are the Creator even use it to but a freaking expensive firework!!" she whined into her hand.
"We could use it to buy more Sticky Honey Roast!" She cried out, step onto the ground pr air repeatly.
Aether just sigh, "Well we can't do anything about it," he keep jogging forward to somewhere that even he doesn't know with the Creator controlling him. "We will gain it back in no time, so don't worry so much Paimon."
"Okay... but where are we even going?"
Aether narrow his eye as he climb up the boulder, "Hm...I don't know but this place seem familiar."
The more they walk and climb, the more familiar the surrounding area looks, Aether is now crouching down to set down the firework under a cliff before his body starts to sprint up up to the cliff where from there, he could see Mondstadt.
"Are the creators trying to light fireworks in the morning?" Paimon wonders out loud, "What the point? It's not even night!"
But then a miracle happened, the day quickly went back to nighttime time and both Aether and Paimon's eyes widened at the sight.
The sky that once had a sun on its landscape now has a moon and star decorating It.
At the right time, the fireworks shoot up into the air and burst into many colour.
"Wow...." Aether breathed out in awe.
"Aether..."
Aether suddenly glances at the sky when he hears the Creator speak his name. Each word the Creator utters makes his heart skip a beat, flushing red and his eye sparkling.
"....With this, I hope you will cheer up a little bit."
A trail of tears goes down his cheeks as the Creator's words end. He can't understand some of it but the way his heart thumping, he just knows for sure that.
Aether has fallen in forbidden love with the...
Creator.

Who is the real Creator?
-TW: cult, yandere, impostor au, mentions of hunt
-Gn reader and darling (please tell me if I mess this up message me and I will fix it)
plot idea (This was inspired by another post but i can't find it ToT):
Reader is friends with Darling. Sometimes Reader helps Darling with dailies, grinding and building the characters.
Somehow reader ends up in Genshin Impact but it's in Darlings world.
Reader is mistaken as an entity that is trying to take over and harm Darling as they have been controlled by Reader before and do not like it.
The Reader is hunted down and shunned it all comes to a stop once Darling descends and stops the hunt. Misunderstandings are cleared and Reader is finally safe from the crazy Acolytes.
All should be fine now except it was the Reader who created Darling's account and gave it to them.
This is part 1, Part 2, part 3, part 4
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reader wiped the sweat on their forehead with the sleeve of their robe. The Sumeru weather was rather hot this midday as the sun was at its peak. With nothing better to do Reader decided to dust off the front of their house.
It was more akin to the size of a cabin and rather isolated yet Reader loved it as it gave them the privacy and security of four sturdy walls. A place entirely of their own *they could control* and it was far enough they did not have to suffer the company of people.
Reader was rather thankful for the Dendro archon to gift them this place.
After what they have been through it was more than deserved, no?
They did not really know what to think of Nahida. On one hand, she had not tried to kill them or hurt them, she was one of the few people who did listen to their side. On the other hand, she was an archon and Reader's experience with the other was not. . . They had no words to describe it. It was plainly a negative horrible experience that still haunted Reader as they slept at night. Their only solace was that the mess of the events that happened months ago was over and that they were a Free person once again.
It does not help that occasionally the archon would give them an intense blank stare that did not suit her young face. Whenever she stared at them like that Reader wanted to bolt through the nearest exit but the stare was gone as quickly as it came.
Reader continued to dust off the porch collecting the dust and dead leaves on a pile they had left the dustpan inside of the house. Just when they were about to head inside to grab it they saw two familiar figures. There was no doubt that the floating figure and golden hair belonged to the Traveler and Paimon, the latter already giving a wave.
Reader gave a small smile and returned the wave.
"Reader! Long time no see how have you been?" said Paimon.
"Hi Traveller, Hi Paimon sorry you had to come and see this mess, I have been fine hopefully you guys kept out of trouble?"
Paimon answered with a sheepish smile.
The Traveler greeted them and Reader ushered both of them inside the house towards the kitchen and made them sit while they prepared some tea.
"It looks like you settled in nicely Paimon is happy for you Reader."
"Thank you Paimon, yeah it's been really nice here."
Reader put the kettle on the stove and almost forgot how to be a proper host.
"Oh right, I have some leftover cookies! Let me grab that."
"You don't have to overexert yourself Reader," said the Traveler with a gentle smile.
"No- no it's fine I was trying a recipe the other day and I made too much, you guys have to eat it all by the way or else it's rude"
"Well, then we would be bad guests if we don't eat right traveler?"
The traveler did not reply and gave his floating companion a deadpan expression. It was rather amusing to see how to see in real life rather than the game - this is not a game anymore stop that.
Eventually they bought over the cookies and poured the tea. Reader was rather proud of themselves for once. Paimon did not hesitate to dig in and they were rather delighted that their cookies were being enjoyed. The Traveler sipped his tea calmly. Reader smiled and blew on the hot tea before also drinking it.
"I see you have been reading about the history of this world?"
"Yeah it gets rather boring just cleaning here, the Dendro Archon dropped by and gave me some books, she's smart since I don't really know much about this world."
"Yeah! Despite looking so young Nahida is really perceptive and wise, Paimon is kind of jealous."
Aether looked at his companion with a playful look and Reader knew he was about to tease his companion. They tried to hide a smile behind the teacup as they took a sip.
"Ohh! Paimon almost forgot! Darling asked us to deliver a letter!"
Reader's smile tensed a little. Aether's previous playful look was gone and he looked at them with concern. Reader held the teacup more harshly than necessary. It was fine they did not need to be babied. They gave Aether what they hoped was a reassuring smile.
Reader was still confused about how to behave around Darling. That person was their best friend, they had been friends since before Reader could remember and all the way to adulthood sharing an apartment. Yet knowing that the person you trusted the most was behind your suffering, even indirectly? It hurt like shit. Reader could not even meet Darling properly since one of their cursed "acolyte" or whatever the hell they called themselves always trailed behind Darling and Reader refused to be near any of those acolytes who actively tried to kill them before. So both were at an awkward standstill.
Isn't it supposed to be bros before hoes? What the hell Darling.
Paimon gave them the letter and Reader tried to thank them without sounding off.
Looking at the letter Reader wanted to scoff, what were they a 1800s paramour?
They looked at Aether they did not want to be rude and read the letter while they were in a conversation. Reader thought it would be the equivalent of reading chat messages while in front of friends, which was impolite. Aether gave them a smile and a nod, and Reader felt a bit at ease.
They opened the letter.
Huh.
They were a little taken aback by how normal this letter was. Reader looked up and Paimon was looking at them rather curiously but tried to hide it by staring at her tea.
"Darling says they are a bit overwhelmed being the creator and all otherwise they are fine it seems."
"Ohh Paimon would bet it would be super stressful taking the position of the creator like that, Alhaitham was so busy as acting grand sage," she brings a hand to her head mimicking it as if it was heavy, "Paimon imagines there is a lot of paperwork."
Reader laughs, it was nice to hear Paimon light-hearted take.
"Yeah Darling mentions that."
Reader does not mention the worries of their friend(?) in the letter or their stress that is something private between them. Things change yet Darling still confides in them Reader is not sure how to feel about that as they sip their tea.
The rest of the day goes smoothly as they all converse about Paimon and the Traveller's adventures in the newest nation, soon it was time to say goodbye and Reader did it with a smile.
.
.
.
"Come on where did I put it?"
Reader said in a frustrated tone as they barrage through the books on their shelves. They know they had the book somewhere for the class. The professor on that topic was someone who always made snide comments on the failure of students and whatnot and Reader did not want to have to deal with that.
"I hope I did not come at the wrong time?"
"Lord Kusanali! I did not see you there, sorry for the mess."
It felt like deja vu when the Reader said that, remembering the time the Traveler came to visit them.
Nahida smiled and shook her head. From the open door they could see Wanderer standing outside. He looked a bit grumpy then again he usually always looked grumpy, a shame for someone with such a beautiful face.
"Please call me Nahida Reader I like to think we know each other well enough now."
Reader gave Nahida a sheepish smile and wrung their hands together it was a nervous tic.
"Sorry everyone calls you that or well Dendro Archon I did not want to disrespect you I sort of owe you a lot"
"No it is we who owe you a debt -," She looked rather sad, and seeing Reader's expression she changed topic rather quickly, "I came to talk about your recent activities I am very happy to see you being more active and joining classes."
"Ohh, Thank you," Reader paused a bit before answering, "I used to be a student. . . before I came here so it's nice having something familiar."
Nahida looked at Reader with a beam and they continued to talk about the classes Reader took and whatever they taught about officially joining a darshan. As Reader turned around briefly they missed the glossy and contemplative look the Archon gave them.
They finally found their book and with the Archon (and Wanderer) in tow headed towards the Akademiya. Turns out they did not need to find the book the moment the professor saw the tiny Archon he went pale faced and Reader had to hide a smile. Wanderer was not so subtle as he loudly snickered.
.
.
.
It's been so long I hope you are doing okay I do miss you. . .
Reader folded the letter and looked out the window. The night skies here were clear no city lights and pollution that distorted the view. The stars shined without care, Reader felt a sudden chill and headed towards bed covering themselves in the blankets. They still looked out towards the sky.
"Miss. . . I guess I do miss you."
.
.
.
After everything was said and done Reader laid in the bed alone in the infirmary. There was a nurse and a doctor and whenever they came Reader would shake like a flame about to be put out easily by a gust of wind. They could not handle human interaction anymore. Once Darling came they were alone. Darling had cried and Reader had cried before an acolyte Came over and Reader looked at Darling horrified.
Why was Darling with those psychopaths did they not know what they were capable of? They might hurt Darling she needed to get away-
Reader must have gone into hysterics because soon the nurse came and injected them with something.
It was later told to them by the Dendro Archon herself in person that Darling was the creator. The cause of the hunt was because of Darling their childhood best friend.
Reader hugged themself.
Reader asked if they could speak to Darling but the Dendro Archon said the acolytes would have to follow them, they did not trust Reader in this condition.
As if they were not the psychopath who tried to kill an innocent person Reader thought.
Reader did not want to meet Darling if it meant having to meet the acolytes.
Reader was so so tired and just wanted to sleep.
.
.
.
Sumeru's climate was rather weird to Reader who never lived in a tropical climate before. It seemed to rain and while hot at the same time. Reader who grew up in the north much like Snezhnaya's climate was confused as it only rained in the cold autumns rarely do you get rain in summer but they adapted quickly.
Yet something felt off this particular day, they tried to distract themselves by doing dishes. Outside the rain was still going on but Reader noticed how eerily quiet there was no rustling of the winds or a single bird finding shelter in the trees. They quickly wiped their hands and strode towards their desk.
Reading was always a good distraction nothing beat reading while it rained, they remembered how they would sometimes turn on a raining asmr video as they read fanfics. The silly memory brought a smile to their face. But just as they saw down they heard a loud knock. Reader jumped up from their seat.
Their chest felt heavy. Unless it was Nahida, the Traveller or the Wanderer who in the early days delivered groceries to them, no one came to visit them they doubted it was a robber why bother knocking then? Maybe it was someone lost or seeking shelter from the rain both options sucked they did not want to entertain people yet, they wrung their hands together. When someone was in need they could not look away anymore.
They ran towards one of the dressers and bought a spare towel and scurried for the entrance door. With hurried and clumsy motions they opened the door and there-
Was Darling.
Darling looked. . . distraught, they were a mess from the last time they saw each other. Gone was the intricately styled hair and neat robes instead their hair was a mess and their clothes wrinkled. Even their face looked pale and it looked like Darling had not slept in days. Most notable was the lack of acolyte trailing after them, Reader almost expected to hear Zhongli's "I will have order!" followed by a meteorite striking Reader down and their cabin.
"You- Wait are you alright what is going on? Why are you alone? Did something happen?"
Darling still looked distraught and everything seemed really wrong, perhaps they should have been calmer when they asked their questions they did not need two people who were on the verge of panic.
"R-reader I-I," they paused before breathing in, "I bleed red," they said as if that single revelation could destroy them.
"Huh?" Reader replied dumbfounded

Constantly Coughing Creator
Furina felt the familiar feeling of the creator taking control of her as they used her to run around Mondstadt. She hasn’t been a vessel for the creator for long but in that short time she’s felt the creator’s care and love for her. Things were quiet when the creator took over. Only the sounds of the world and the idle chatter of her party members fill the silence. That was until a new sound filled the air causing the whole party to go quiet. Coughing. Not just normal coughing but deep rough ones with gasps for air in between. Furina felt her body frozen in that moment not by her own will but because she was still being used by The Creator but clearly they can’t use her at the moment. Furina was stuck internally panicking. The Creator, the one that truly gave her purpose back after the prophecy, might be dying and she can’t do anything but stand here frozen. She could hear snickering from one of the other party members as the other two were continuing casually chatting as though their Creator wasn’t sounding like they were coughing out their lungs. Things went quiet and Furina feared for the worst but then the Creator started moving her again and going about their day. Wanderer, the one who was snickering at her panic earlier simply said. “Get used to it. It’s not rare.” Furina didn’t know how to feel about the fact that this happened to the Creator so often that everyone else in the party is used to it.

This isn't a request: I'm just having a brainrot, so bear with me here
So you know the theory that Paimon is Asmoday (unknown god) reincarnated? WHAT IF, Asmoday was Paimon's mother instead. And the creator was Paimon's other parent. Now Asmoday and the creator had broken off their relationship just before Asmoday found out she was pregnant. And because she was so bitter about the whole ordeal, she never told the creator. Present time: we have Paimon, the creator has descended, everythings guac great.
Now Paimon looks like an exact mix of the creator and Asmoday. So it doesn't take long for those two to connect the dots. So they reconnect and everything, its all wholesome and shit, and then they get a mischievously diabolical plan. They're going to hide it from everyone, and see how long it takes everyone to figure it out...
EVENTUALLY rumors start going around suggesting this.
And then all of teyvat has a fucking epiphany like 'holy shit, Paimon is the creator's kid'.
Imagine the look on the traveler's face when they learn they called the creator's child 'emergency food' 😂
(Paimon would be so smug istg)
I had had ZERO chance of having the time to respond to this, but Paimon would 100% be so smug abt it LOL.
Traveler fr gonna go like "Ayo, since when did my emergency food actually turn out to be God's Child—" and Paimon's still gonna go on a rampage abt it bc they both know for a fact that this is their little inside joke that they'll never be able to get rid of LOL
Meanwhile the Creator just chilling in the corner, just watching this over and is both amused and exasperated abt the entire transaction bc this is the 1000000+ time this joke has ran.
Absolute gold, this brainrot. @royalrose2011, where do u get these from I want them sobbing.

So sorry about it 🙏🙏.
____________________________________
You stood, motionless, your eyes fixed in disbelief upon the distant scene before you. As the wind cut through the air, a shiver ran down your spine, leaving goosebumps in its wake. The purity of the air surrounded you, carrying with it an intoxicating scent that smelled pure. The warm touch of the sun's rays caressing your skin affirmed that this experience couldn't possibly be a figment of your imagination. A fleeting thought of doubt crept in, but you quickly dismissed it; after all, you had never dabbled in any kind of drugs. This moment, as unbelievable as it seems, had to be undeniably real.
With careful fingers, you gently retrieved your fallen shoe/heel/slipper from the bed of plush, emerald-green grass. As you slipped it back onto your foot, your eyes instinctively wandered upward, transfixed by the expansive stretch of blue sky above you. It was quite unlike the very bright pixelated one you see on your screen. Everything that you see within the door was real and not a nightmare.
____________________________________
After composing yourself, you went inside your cafe, close the door, drag a chair nearest to the door, took a seat on the chair you placed infront of the door, and contemplated life. A deep heavy sigh got out your mouth as you continue looking the the strange thing infront of you. "What now? What do I do? Should I just lock it?" you asked yourself and looked at the door. Welp, well, there goes your master plan. Suprise suprise there's no keyhole and having a key would not make any difference. "Ugh."
You sat up and opened the door again, only to be baffled to see a different scenery other than the distant City of Mondstadt. The door was now currently in the Liyue Harbor. You closed the door and opened it again, you were now in Inazuma. Close, open, and now in Sumeru. Once again, you are now in Fontaine.
"Yeah bye." you closed the door again and returned the chair from where it once was. Contemplating what you should do next, your feet carried you around the whole café. You went to the counter and decided to make yourself something to help with calming yourself first in order to think clearly. It was a good thing that you had brought all of the materials and ingredients you needed in the café because you had thought of opening the café tomorrow. But with how things are now, you don't know what to do.
Teyvat is filled with many dangerous beings such as hilichurls, slimes, etc. You are but a normal human being with no experience in fighting and fighting your baby cousins was not enough of an experience to be able to fight toe to toe with monsters you have only seen through a screen. Yes, a gun would probably best to use but you don't have a permit for that and you don't want to be in jail when you have just barely open your dream café. But nobody had to know, right? What if-
A deep sigh fell from your lips once again. The stress is really getting in to you, huh? The bitter/sweet aroma of (coffee/tea/juice) filled your sense of smell. You were making your favorite, (your choice of coffee/tea/juice). After some time of finishing your drink, you took it along with a (pastry of your choice) that you had in your car, in which you had thought of eating to celebrate the opening, and sat in a chair facing the door. Taking your time in eating/drinking, many thoughts come and go in your head to solve the predicament you are in now. You had even thought of postponing the opening of the café until you had thought of a way on what to do with the door.
Of course you read the fanfics circulating all around the genshin fandom and one of the those that you have read was SAGAU where you might be the imposter or the creator of teyvat or you become a villain or anything in between. The most common of them was being an imposter. What if you were to become the said imposter if one day a person will open the door to your café? What if they kill you? What if-
*creak......*
Your rambling came to a stop as you looked at the door horrified. Oh no no no no no no NO NO NO! YOU JINXED YOURSELF DIDN'T YOU?! THIS DAMNED FATE-
'Oh dear God, Buddha, Allah, Deities, whoever higher being there is, pls help me...' you thought as you clasp your hands, praying to higher beings. Before you could even feel it, tears cascaded down you face to the table. "I'm nOt ReAdy tO dIE yeT... Ughhhhhhhh" you sobbed into your hands loudly like a child lost in a mall.
"Hello?" a person peaked from behind the door.
Fuck.

The Traveler, along with Paimon, was doing their daily quests until they saw something shining in the far distance. Their curiousity made them want to investigate it.
"Hm. Why is a door in the middle of the forest with no support or whatsoever?" Paimon mumbled as the door came into their view. The Traveler also had the same thought.
"Is it perhaps a magic door of some kind? I think w-"
*creak*
The Traveler stopped speaking as the door opened but from where they are right now, they couldn't see who opened the door and couldn't get to ask since the door closed with a loud bang when they were going to get closer.
"Well... that was something..." Paimon looked at the Traveler. "Traveler? What's wrong? BREATHE! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE AT THIS RATE!" Paimon brought tons of fried egg out of the Traveler's bag and smacked it into the Traveler's mouth and forced them to chew the egg.
After confirming the Traveler is back into top condition, Paimon asked them what the hell happened to them.
"I-I don't know. I suddenly felt something when whoever opened that door and the air around me became heavy that it became hard to breathe..." The Traveler shooked their head gently and sighed. "I also felt something strange. The energy of whoever is beyond that door, excluded an aura that is very familiar to me, but I don't know who or what it is."
"Hm. Paimon thinks that we should open that door and see whoever that and see if they truly are familiar to you or maybe perhaps this connection that you feel is related to your sibling!" Paimon twirled around the air, exaggerating her words with her actions.
For once, Traveler thought it was a good idea at first but there is also a flaw in that idea. A flaw that might cause their life if whoever is beyond that door is hostile and will kill them. It is better to be cautious then to be 6ft underground before finding their sibling.

Sorry if you aren’t taking requests, I couldn’t tell 😔
but I have been having brain rot for this idea- what if the creator spoke to the traveler? Like how in game we ‘control’ them, but instead we are a guiding hand, even appearing to them in dreams.
like the traveler isn’t from teyvat originally, so at first they have NO CLUE who the creator is, so they never tell anyone. And one day they mention it in passing to like a archon. “Oh yeah, I hear a voice in my head helping me through my travels! They are super weird and know wayyy to much, but they are nice to me!” Mean while the archon in question slowly pieces things together.
bonus points if the creator gives commentary like the players do, like “girl- you can deliver that letter yourself” or “paimon dear me, I love you but shuttt up”
No worries! I'm always taking requests, although I may not always be able to answer them quickly.
A/N: This idea is utterly fantastic, and I hope you enjoy reading my take on it!
Ever since the traveler woke up in teyvat, they've been hearing this odd voice in the back of their head. The voice always seems to understand how they're feeling and see everything they see.
Every time they've tried to tell paimon, she's just brushed it off as them being crazy. Hence why they haven't really told anyone. They just assumed that anyone they told would react the same as Paimon.
But today, while they were having tea with Zhongli, the voice just wouldn't stop talking about how pretty his voice is and complaining whenever paimon interrupted him. So, they decided to tell Zhongli about the odd occurrences.
Zhongli, having always been a rather knowledgeable person he listened intently to the traveler's tales. Although still holding his composed exterior, Zhongli was rather confused, attempting to piece together his knowledge and come up with a reasonable explanation.
The traveler may be the creator's first vessel, but what are the chances of their grace residing within the traveler's mind. Zhongli kept asking questions about the traveler's experiences. Stuff like "Do they ever appear in your dreams?" And "Can you see them?"
The more the traveler explained, the more confused the archon that stood before him got. "The holy creator has been with you all throughout your journey, and this is the first that I'm hearing of it?" Zhongli interrupts the traveler beginning to get mildly fed up. Why didn't the traveler tell him sooner, do they not trust him.
'Blah, blah, blah!' The voice inside his head blabs, and the traveler swears that for a moment they saw a person standing in the corner of their vision.
"Traveler, you seem distracted... Is the voice back?" Zhongli asks, swirling his glass of tea.

How'd This Happen?! Pt.2
Holy- I wasn't expecting everyone to like this; But thanks for the support! Please enjoy this part two of the story!
Tumblr media
You stared at the now knocked out Razor. You maybe shouldn't have used a mix of Geo and Electro to knock him out... Now you felt bad, Razor wasn't one of your mains, but you did max out friendship with him. Wait a damn minute... What if this is like that one idea you read on Tumbler?! Where the higher Friendship the character had a better chance of recognizing you! That would give you at least one or two safe people per Nation!!
You're getting off track.. You shake your head and walk over to Razor, and sniff him, you couldn't rely on your human form since, one you didn't have clothes, and two you didn't want to mess up anything; After all... You liked being free and chaotic.
You huff and headbutted Razor, as hard as you could do. It didn't wake him up, but it left a bruise on him. You nudged him, to no avail.
Now how were you gonna fix this... Razor most likely had someone with him, and if they find Razor they'll find you; A black cat with a moon marking on your head, braided fur, blue, silver, and gold paint on you, and a Hilichurl mask on your side...
(The mask wouldn't work on your face, you couldn't see through it, and it was still too big even after the Hilichurls made it so small.)
Yea, this could risk you, but. What's gonna happen? You were starting to get bored now... So a chase would be fun... But you rather not, what if they realized you were the real deal? You didn't want to stay still. But you were starting to dislike the False on the throne.
Actually, you kinda wanted to punch her in the face now... But you'll let them rule for longer. You needed to wake up Razor or move him somewhere. Maybe Cyro would wake him up...
You take a deep breath and gently nuzzle Razor's neck, the boy in question still doesn't wake up. Now, you felt pretty bad about that... Maybe you shouldn't use two elements to knock someone out- A noise behind you, sounding like a person made you panic.
Without thinking, you swirl around and bite someone's leg, Electro bursts once you make contact and the person hits the ground... You let go and freeze... You knocked out Bennett...
Damn it..
Tumblr media
You felt bad now... You dragged them into the forest mainly because you didn't want anyone to see them passed out, nor did you like the idea of leaving the to the Hilichurls... So, they were tied to a tree(with a lot of vines), but they're awake, and not every happy... Bennett's eyes fell onto you, "Erm.. H- hey there... Can you help us?"
Holy shit!! He talked to a cat?
You snorted, turning and walking off. "Hey!" "S- Stupid Weird Smelling Cat!"
After a few minutes, you found where you wanted to go.. But you hoped this wouldn't be a game of Dog and Cat... You found a clearing which hopefully was- HOLY SHIT HE'S A TITAN!!
You stared at the huge Blizzard God- Wait, can you still call Andrius a Blizzard god?
You tilt your head and look at him as he speaks, "What's a tiny cat doing here, where you could be hurt?" He had a teasing tone to it... You were confused, but shapeshifted into a wolf to properly speak to him.
"Sup?" You basically greet him, like he wasn't the literal Wolf of the North, the man who embodied wolves. He seemed amused with your antics.
"Soo... Why aren't you shocked?" You asked him, both confused and happy to speak to someone.
Andrius hums, "As a creature of Teyvat, I am connected to the land... I can realize when the Creator stands before me." You tried processing that but gave up. "So... Can you just help me with something real quick...? I can't turn into my human form right now and I need a bit of help..." You ask, somewhat nervously.
Thirty minutes later, you had brought the giant wolf to where Bennett and Razor are. Both looked horrified at the fact that you a tiny cat, summoned one of the Four Winds... You loved it.
Andrius helped you with getting the vines off of the two explorers. Though while they were shocked, you took the chance to leave after thanking Andrius.
You had no regrets... But now you wanted to meet the other Four Winds...

notes // hi hi anon ^^ i absolutely loved writing this, thank you for sending this ask :D since you didn’t write what exactly you would like, i thought hcs would fit best. i hope this is alright <3
when you landed in teyvat… yeah well you couldn’t quite believe it and started hyperventilating
you almost ran around like a headless chicken, but then you came across the traveler and paimon and almost sobbed in relief
the traveler immediately took you after their wing, taking you with them so you won’t get loss or have another panic attack
they made their way to liyue, thinking it would be the best to start slow
the traveler started seeing you as a close friend, closer than all the others they met here and showed you this too
be it simply cooking for you, hugging you when you felt down or even chasing your nightmares away (soft traveler 🥺)
paimon loved you too, always babbling your ears off about everything and nothing
you just fit seamlessly into their group and it was refreshing to have someone new with them!!
on your travels to liyue, the traveler came across chongyun and immediately took the young vision holder with them, wanting to introduce you to one of their friends
chongyun was nervous, listening to the traveler how they praised and gushed over you and hating to disappoint the traveler and you
but then you saw him and couldn’t help but squeal a bit, very happy to meet one of your absolute favorites!!
chongyun blushed and mumbles shyly, but was very happy to see how glad you seemed to meet him. this never happened to him before…
chongyun decided to join your little group, traveling to liyue harbor and see the world
the traveler wanted to show you inazuma, already thinking of all the beautiful spots and places to take you
naturally you had to take the ship, which is how you landed on the crux. beidou welcomed you with a big and hearty laugh, while kazuha calmy greeted you
you were happy, oh so happy to meet another one of your number ones and asked him about his travels, his vision, his family history, his sword, about everything!!
kazuha was quite surprised about the attention you gave him, yet he though it was just your bubbly personality
(jokes on him, he was just one of your loved ones and you would never let him go 🌚)
once in inazuma, kazuha and the traveler took you all around the islands, while chongyun even exorcised his very first evil spirit. you cooed over him, gave him hugs and compliment and yes- he decided to never leave you if it’s like that traveling with you
(kidnapping your very own vision holders and hoarding them, we love 😌)
and then you came across itto- your heart almost couldn’t take it anymore
all your favorites with you, here in inazuma!!
(you bet you had another hyperventilating moment, the group very concerned about you)
itto immediately loved you, you could match his energy and how you praised him!! oh almighty shogun, it was the best feeling ever!
he and his gang joined your little group, traveling all over inazuma, until you decided to go to your next adventure

The Unawakened Creator
Yandere!SAGAU x Creator!Reader
Imposter AU
Short summary: You’re isekai’d but without anything to prove you’re the creator (you are referred to as reader/creator/imposter)
warning(s): ANGSTTT, abuse, torture, blood, gore, self-harm, mentions of suicide, masochism, sadism, plague, divine punishment, revenge
word count: 1403
Imagine reader isekai’s and like usual they’re mistaken for an imposter and hunted. However, this time there’s no proof to show that they’re the creator. Their blood isn’t gold, their tears don’t crystallize. It really is like they’re just a regular person with the face of the creator.
With no powers and no one to believe them, reader is imprisoned almost immediately. The acolytes, so disgusted with the “imposter” do everything they can to make reader suffer before the date of their execution.
Reader’s cell is deep in the basement. Cold and damp with no light. The floor is dirt and their only companions are the rats and bugs that crawl around. The acolytes starve them for days before giving them nothing but dirty water to drink and moldy bread.
Acolytes visit them to throw countless piercing words and to have their turn at abusing them. By the time it reaches their execution date, reader is already covered in bruises with a few minor fractures.
The execution is exclusive, with only the most loyal acolytes having the pleasure to witness the downfall of this despicable “imposter.”
The acolytes gather around the reader’s pitiful form and the abuse they suffered in the cell wasn’t enough. Reader is sliced over and over again, allowing everyone to see their “dirty, imposter blood” spill.
Reader’s throat grows hoarse from begging and screaming for just a bit of mercy. Yet all that surround them were looks of disdain and some of satisfaction. Slowly, the hope diminished from their eyes.
Going insane from the pain, starvation, and humiliation, the “imposter” begins to laugh. Even as their throat is so sore from crying, the laugh is so loud that it startles the acolytes.
Disgusted by them, one acolyte decides to deliver the killing blow. A sharp spear straight to their heart. However, just as the weapon hits reader’s vital organ, there is a flash of light.
When the light fades and the acolytes regain their sight, they are shocked by the glowing golden eyes of the so-called imposter. They freeze in disbelief as they watch the previously red blood turn into a glittering golden right before their eyes.
The acolyte that delivered the killing blow has their body wracked with sobs, hands trembling.
The creator suddenly looks up at them, smiling. But it isn’t the warm and welcoming smile that they all dreamed of seeing. It is cold and filled with pure, pure rage.
The creator shuffles towards them.
In the completely silent field, the creator’s voice is carried by the wind, reaching each of the acolytes.
“Why did you stop?” the creator asks.
The bruised and cut up hands of the creator wrap around the acolytes hand that was holding the weapon.
In the front of all the acolytes, the creator uses their hand to stab themself multiple times. Pints and pints of golden blood spill out of their wounds, splashing on the ground.
Frozen with shock, the acolytes can do nothing but watch.
Despite stabbing themself multiple times, reader doesn’t flinch. However, at every squelch of the weapon entering their creator’s body, the acolytes cringe and shake.
“How is it? Is it enough? Do you need more?”
Seeing the horrified looks on their faces, reader decides it isn’t enough. They send the weapon straight into their eye, hearing the acolytes gasp and cry. The acolyte holding the weapon finally snaps back into reality and drops the weapon immediately.
All around them, the creator hears countless thuds as the acolytes drop to their knees. A chorus of cries, begging for forgiveness and for mercy.
Reader laughs at the irony.
“What’s wrong…Why do you guys look like that? Just a minute ago you seemed to enjoy watching me get sliced and stabbed.”
Apologizes stream out so fast that it hurts reader’s head.
“Oh…you’re apologizing? For which part? For torturing me? For smiling as I begged and screamed for help?”
“I will never forget a single thing you have said to me. Every action I have experienced will be forever engrained in my heart and mind. Your apologizes mean nothing.”
Reader forces the acolytes to stare at them, all of the wounds with golden blood dripping from their body and soaking the ground beneath them.
“If this is how you treat me as a weak mortal with no power, then you do not deserve my mercy.”
The creator was never seen again after that. But the acolytes know that they haven’t left, that reader hasn’t forgotten and certainly hasn’t forgiven them.
Everything that was done to the creator is returned.
Just as reader was trapped in the darkness, there is no more sun. The clouds are always shrouding the lands in gloomy darkness. Not even the stars could be seen.
Just as reader was starved, crops everywhere refuse to grow. Food from animals are spoiled almost instantly, causing the majority of Teyvat to go into famine.
Just as they suffered from the pain of their torture, the nations are filled with a horrible, excruciating plague.
The acolytes pray and beg but it only makes the creator angrier.
Where was the mercy when they were the one on their knees begging?
Years go by and the population of Teyvat begins to dwindle. The acolytes decide they finally had enough, and that even though it’s their divine creator causing this disaster and that it’s the acolyte’s own fault, the archons cannot allow their people to suffer any longer. They track down the creator with the intent to put a stop to their terror.
Reader hears that they are hunting them down and decides to let the acolytes find them.
The acolytes do not want to kill them but they hope to defeat reader so as to stop the pain inflicted on the people of Teyvat. The acolytes prepare long and hard for the battle fully aware that they’ll be going against the God of Gods, the reason for their existence.
Only, reader has no intention of winning from the start. In fact, their creator doesn’t even put up a fight. Reader wants the acolytes to succeed in killing them.
During their time alone, reader has tried to off themselves several times just to return back to their original world…but each time they tried, they failed and were forced to live in the godforsaken land that is Teyvat.
“You tortured me as a mortal, now you want to kill me as your god?…Well, then go ahead. Do it.”
The acolytes are hesitant until their creator says,
“If you fail to kill me now, Teyvat will suffer even more disaster than before.”
With no other choice, the acolytes attempt to kill their beloved creator. But no matter how many fatal blows they give the creator, no matter how many times their creator is struck down, they never die.
The creator lets out a piercing scream that makes the acolyte’s heart clench in despair. The acolytes unconsciously pull back their blows thinking that it’s a scream of pain… but it’s a scream full of anguish.
“Why?!” reader screams. “Why can’t I die?!” glittering tears mixed with golden blood stream down their face.
That’s when the acolytes realize that this was the creator’s plan all along… to leave them.
It’s not fair, reader thinks. Reader is able to feel all this pain and suffering but they are unable to die. All anger, revenge and bitterness leave the creator’s eyes as the emptiness sinks in. The creator sits there, completely silent.
Suddenly, the skies begin to clear, and green plants start regrowing all around what used to be barren land.
The creator doesn’t move an inch. They don’t respond as the acolytes speak to them. Even as the acolytes tend to their wounds, reader stays completely still like a lifeless doll. The acolytes would have thought that they had succeeded killing them if it weren’t for the endless stream of tears rolling down their frozen face.
The acolytes should be overjoyed that the creator is finally done with their revenge… but they are unable to feel anything but sadness.
The acolytes thought that the wrath and the hatred of their beloved creator was the worst pain that they could feel…but as they stare at the current state of the creator, they realize that nothing hurts worse than seeing reader, an empty shell of what they once were… and knowing that the acolytes themselves are the cause of it.
(now that I’m back im posting all of my drafts)
