it has been a hot minute since i updated this blog huh

anyway! i have started working on a 049/OC called The Dance of Decay & Dreams! It’s more or less me playing around in the sandbox and being way too indulgent with my own headcanons/ocs.

oh, and if you recognize the oc, i changed their number from 167 to 048 for story reasons! <3

i am probably going to post the rest of the cast as i finally start drawing them but don’t get too excited because i’m going to be writing plus participating in art fight

Last week on my character a day thread was more "Magical Girl SCP" characters and I'm realizing I didn't share the pictures from the last time I brought out the psudo scp universe characters so here they are. I'll make the whole story someday. Lore/flavor text is as follows: 1: Fairbanks would often have to insist Isabelle stop skipping her small arms training. She rarely said it, but she was very fond of the junior researcher. And she knew just how unsafe the SAFE Research Department could be.

2: Fairbanks' Notes on the Vampire, "Drymouth."

After 21 days without feeding, she will enter a state of altered consciousness and will speak true prophecies. The Board believes it is worth the ethical costs of starving her. I believe she uses her prophecies to guide us to our destruction.

3: Partial Transcript: Tattoo Parlor, 3:25 PM

Subject X66: "I'm still kinda nervous about the pain, ya know. I'm sure you get that a lot."

Witness: "I... what is... Is that a body mod?"

Subject X66: "What are you talking about?"

Witness: "Holy fuck it moved!"

4: Codename Sunshine is the first entity to take a role in DIR Fairbank's "Special Taskforce." Though the Director believes she is wholly reliable and a potential asset for our field agents, many are skeptical. Her ability to "transmute light into burning liquid" is quote: "Scary AF."

5: Agent Nathan Collier returned to work with REDACTED three months after the incident with Valeria's escape. His personal heroism in subduing the entity aside, it was decided he was unfit for field work. Instead he was reassigned to the SAFE Department on so called "babysitting duty."

6: Ben died a few years ago in an unrelated accident, but ever since then what appears to be his "ghost" continues to check the halls for anomalous readings. Once we calibrated his scanner to account for his own emanations, he returned to being a valued member of *redacted*

7: What limited things we do know is REDACTED's body is made of particles which "absorb" em waves of all kinds, from light to radio. Though REDACTED manages to bypass nearly every security measure we have, they have no connections or intentions that qualify as a threat.

8: Contrary to popular belief, Franklin is NOT an anomalous entity. He is merely a holdover from REDACTED before it became REDACTED. His "good humor and fatherly advice" has often made agents question his true nature. And security monitors him as agents often confide secrets with him.

(ooc note, it was about an hour after drawing this that I realized I basically just drew Clint McElroy)

9: Frm: Dir Fairbanks The girl in our care is not to be referred to as "anomaly" or "spider thing" or by her case number. She has come to us willingly. Her name is Penelope, and but for her anomalous mutations is a normal child. We will provide her normalcy. That is an order.

Entry Interview and Assessment, SCP-141-d:

(Intake researcher ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ sits in a metal chair at a metal table. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ is staring at the chair opposite them) ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: Would you please state your name. (Several minutes pass in silence. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ grows progressively more agitated. The empty chair across from them scrapes back, and their eyes follow in invisible path to the bolted door. The door is shaken once, then a second time. Silence. The chair scrapes back in to the table.) ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: Your name. (Tape records silence and lack of movement for another ten minutes before ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ requests an end to intake interview.)

Observation Note 1-1:

This one seems fairly standard. No presence on film and a bad attitude. SCP-141-d non-hostile.

⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ "Ghost" ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ is hard to pin down as he has yet to speak a word to me or anyone else. The other members of SCP-141 speak to him during their brief activation periods, but he will not respond to them either except in short grunts or shakes of his head. I would like to say he appears to be even-tempered and non-hostile, but given the nature of the other anomalous individuals in SCP-141 I am hesitant to give such a review. If I were to hazard a guess I would say he is waiting on something, or perhaps I just haven't found the right trigger yet.

Dr. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️: ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ you don't want to do this, please take your seat. SCP-141-d: Beg.

Reverend ██████ Segreti - Priest of Site 19

Reverend ██████ Segreti is the head priest to the recently installed church of Site 19. Due to the increased requirement for religious (primarily Christian) needs for the SCPs and staff, the church has become a permanent addition to the foundation.

Reverend Segreti went to catholic school all his life. The influence eventually led him to a seminary in the Vatican City where he got an Associate's in Philosophy and Bachelor's in Theology. After his bachelor's, he served a few years as a military chaplain before returning to the seminary to continue his studies. While acquiring his PhD in Theology and Biblical Studies, he served as a priest in the Vatican City. A few years later, he wished to travel, so he went to several churches in Europe and the Americas. He was traveling around Illinois when he was approached with a job offer from the SCP Foundation upon their installation of a permanent on-site church. He accepted with a curiosity about the foundation and the services they have to offer.

Reverend, only being on-site for a few months, spends most of his days meeting SCPs (e.g. SCP-166) and holding prayers and confessions for available staff members. Not until later did many employees show interest in attending Sunday services. The Reverend's duties extended to performing mass and bible studies.

Several tend to question the Reverend's willingness to continue to serve within the foundation due to his exposure to the inner workings of the foundation and how they may test his faith. Any religious preservation may be due to his relationships with several doctors and their advice in maintaining sanity (what little it may be).

I love the SCP au. Could you go more into detail about Laswell/SCP141-e?

Is he actually in their heads or is it that he can permeate technology in some way when it's near them? Is that how he gets his information?

Would it be possible for him to be heard by people outside of SCP141? Say, if he decided to see what the fuss is about a certain researcher/personnel?

Is he only able to be heard by the others when they're close enough to activate their anomalous properties? What happens when they're apart? What anomalous properties would he lose?

Special Containment Procedures Activated:

Given SCP-141-a's anomalous abilities it is recommended that personnel interviewing and interacting with him either: pass level 5 anti-memetic training, utilize psychic shielding either chemical or mechanical, or maintain a natural inclination against cognitohazardous anomalies. At present all interviews are to be conducted by senior research staff member of the psychic anomalies division on site ⬛️⬛️, ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️.

No information is to be given to SCP-141-a, no matter the relevance, truthfulness, or perceived impact. SCP-141-a will be treated as a hostile in this respect, and it must be assumed any information provided to SCP-141-a will be used against the provider.

Interview terminated, site ⬛️⬛️ placed on immediate lock down. Site swept for invisible anomalous entities. Nothing found. SCP-141-a returned to cell. ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ tested for cognitohazards. Clean.
