He eyes it now, still, as she stands victorious in the heart of the Arène. He has watched her fights and seen, in real time, as her ego inflated larger and larger. Time to knock it down a peg.

He steps forward, towering over her at nearly seven feet. "'Evening, darling. Now — D'you figure you could take someone your own size?"

He opens his arms, pariah like, blood-soaked palms turned heavenward. The whole of him, ready for a jab or two. Faux vulnerability. A trap. "Bloody head start, babes."

is this a few days late? doesn't matter

2023 was the year that i got back into making art and contributing to fandom and i do not regret. i think it's really cool that you can see improvement over the year as i experimented, explored, and got comfortable drawing again after many years. fandoms, as always, were all over the place but honestly that's such a vibe. got into watcher entertainment, got into starkid, and even got back into dnd (sevyn is my silly little guy and i love them so much, duck game is literally the best yall ily).

how do you feel now that sevyn has a definite connection to vaellus through their parent?

honestly i feel bad for sevyn and their parent. because kyrie (am i spelling it right???) got hired by vaellus to be a guard and he was paying them REALLY WELL. but then mugwort showed up and ruined it. i'm starting to think he's the REAL villain of duck game in a way. like there's so much bullshit that goes on around that guy and he's ruining everything. i hope sevyn and their parent can make up with vaellus and everything will be okay. maybe sevyn used to work for vaellus too. we know sevyn has a gambling addiction and if vaellus pays WELL (what a king 🥰) and sevyn was in debt she might've taken a job from him. i think it's totally possible but also something sevyn will have to figure out for himself.
