So you know how I said the previous post was my last build. Well I decided Since I did Zero, I might as well do the rest of the cast of my comic. So here’s Lunaria, she is a shadowlight phoenix. Much like with Zero, the build does have some design inaccuracies but I was able to build her. Also fun fact, Lunaria is canonically pansexual. One the many perks of making characters in the present day.

It's on an indefinite hiatus for now, mainly due to my current interest, Lego Monkie Kid, still taking over and rotting my brain. I always end up circling back to Sonic (especially Boom Crew) when I cycle through my interests so the comic is definitely still happening! It's just gonna be a LOOOOOOONG time before then... probably

Honestly for all the WORST times to get a new interest, it had to be just when I was STARTING the comic lmaoooo whyyyyyy 😭😭😭

I'll probably doodle something in the upcoming weeks for shadowlight au at the least (assuming I do not forget or dont become possesed by a new interest oh gooooood oh fuuuuuuck hhhhhh) bc I do actively think about it a lot still and the actual premise of what the AU is about is usually what my brain always comes back to, even if the actual au name is different.

I'll make an announcement when I'm back with a new pages for the comic. I'm glad to see that people are still interested in this AU, even like... a year (fuck me) later.

hey! just curious, is the shadowlight au cancelled? totally ok if it is, I just wanna know if i should keep my eye out for it! (sorry if you posted about this and i just missed it!)

SHFJSAJFS YOURE GOOD! NO WORRIES!

The AU is still on-going though it's closer to say that it went on an unexpected hiatus due to me making the mistake of watching a Lego Monkie Kid compilation of Macaque (and from there lmk has sunken its claws into me and has refused to let go dhshsj)

I mean look at this goofy ass creature

He is very scrimbly bimbly shaped fhsjsjajs

Speaking of LMK, I have Anathema AU art to upload after I answer this ask ghsjajsjdba

I had planned for the next page to be out before the end of January...you can see how that went given that it's now the middle of March lmao

I have the next two pages sketched and planned out, I just haven't gotten to finishing it due to my own silliness lol

But now that Season 4 of LMK is out, I can get back to working on the comic, hopefully sooner rather than later. I just gotta re-teach myself how to draw sonic characters again first.

Also, for those who don't know, reason I chose to make a comic for my Sonic Boom AU specifically, rather than any other AU, is because it's one of those interests I ALWAYS come circling back to. I tried to do a comic with Mao Mao, but I ended up losing interest in the show eventually.

The au comic is also meant to be practice for myself for storytelling through comics since one of my series, The Gift from Paradise, might become a web comic series down the line in the distant future. Also, I have a full time job on top of everything (and planning to start college in a couple months lol)

So yeah, the ShadowLight AU is still happening, just VERY VEEEERRRY slowly because I am an absolute fool. I wouldn't keep too close of an eye on it for now.

BUT when I am closer to finishing the pages, I'll make a post announcing a rough estimate of when they'll be posted.

HIYA I just stumbled across your shadowlight au and even though there's only two pages (plus the issue cover) out, I'm already super hooked. Though I was wondering if Silver by any chance would be in it?

First, thank you so much! I'm glad you are enjoying the comic so far! Page 3 is close to completion, I am aiming for it to be finished and posted by Sunday at the latest.

As for Silver, he is in the AU, but not an active character. He doesn't play a role in the future or present, but is instead a character from the past who had visions of the future (and the downfall of the Ancients civilization)

My next non-comic related post on this AU, which will be REAL SOON (like... today soon lol), reveals more on both Silver and Blaze, so keep an eye out for that ;)
