For the no dl6 AU:
What about Dalhia and Iris? Do they play a role or did feenie just never meet them?
while i'm not sure about iris just yet, dahlia still plays a role in the story. because phoenix never studies law, he doesn't run into dahlia at the courthouse, so they never meet.
in the fourth case, turnabout ashes, we go back a few years to phoenix and miles' first "case". i put it in quotes because really the whole thing is from gregory's perspective while miles and phoenix are just his assistants.
anyways, the case they're helping with has dahlia as the suspect. still not quite sure who the defendant will be in this case, but i do plan for phoenix and miles to be witnesses of the crime as well.
after dahlia gets her guilty sentence, she has a secondary breakdown where she vows her revenge on phoenix and miles.
and that's where she returns in the fifth case, thorns of the turnabout >:) i can't reveal too much yet but she does get a new identity (that's more than just changing her name like she does in turnabout beginnings)
here's dahlia's disguised identity, eris oleander, which is based on dahlia's official concept designs!

Headcanon: the first night at least Casita's fall, the Madrigals spent the night in the church. Isabela, being used to sleeping at great heights, somehow climbed into the rafters when no one was looking and slept there, miraculously not falling. That didn't stop her parents from chewing her out the next morning, not did *that* stop Isabela from continuing to sleep in arguably perilous positions.
This is so canon, I love it💖 I can definitely see that making Julieta and Agustín (maybe even Luisa) nervous as all hell 😂

i’m reading codename: sailor v for the first time and minako literally says acab:
image id: Artemis complains to Mina, “All you do is play and do the work of the police should be doing like capturing robbers.” The following panel is cut, but the responses Minako gives to Artemis’ complaints are: “But I really don’t like the police! They’re always putting on airs!” and “I wanted to outwit them for once!” Minako is cheeky and giggles over this statement. This interaction comes from page 99 of Volume 1 of the manga //end id

I’m actually LOVING how Rick Riordan, and the other writers of the show, took his initial concept of a Percabeth rivalry fueled by that of their parents and kind of turned it on its head?
Now, instead of Annabeth being wary of Percy because he’s a son of Poseidon, he’s wary of her because she made a callous impression on him. They get off to a rocky start even before finding out who Percy’s father is, and when they finally do, Annabeth doesn’t care. Instead of them fighting because of who their parents are, they’re fighting over their own opposed worldviews.
Then, instead of them arguing over which of the gods is cooler and who was right in the story of Medusa, they realize that, just like Medusa, Annabeth is a victim of her mother and that, unlike Medusa, she is a far kinder and stronger person, unwilling to repeat the cycle of hurt. They realize that, like his father, Percy often acts without considering potential consequences and that, unlike his father, he is a far kinder and stronger person, willing to step up for someone he wronged and whom he cares about.
Instead of Percy and Annabeth’s rivalry being focused on that of their parents, it’s focused on who they are, themselves. But the path to friendship is still the same: a realization that they have each other’s backs, no matter what, because they’re not their parents after all.
