My focus: intergenerational trauma and its effect on those who don't know how to swim and the communities most likely to drown in America. It has been a hell of a journey to make this IGP, and I will be sharing pieces of the process as part of the performance on social media in the next 23 days leading up to it because I think the conversations about drowning, floating, and the act of learning to swim as an act of social change (issues that weave in the performance) are important to have globally. I am only creating 3 Swimming Pool Parties (1 in LA, 1 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, and 1 in a special location) from 2019-2021. You don't need to know how to swim to be a part of this journey!
