The bit about Volo not knowing about Social Media made me realize that Spare doesn't know either.
Plumeria: What do you mean she doesn't know? Aren't you her girlfriend and a giant tech need?
Penny: I am not introducing someone who just recently decided that human beings have value to influencers and irony poisoned meme performances.
*in background*
Spare, talking to Skulls Grunts: Well, I suppose the walrein would be more surprising, but what does that have to do with vanilla extract?
the only memes the Skull Kids are allowed to tell her are a couple of the day-of-the-week ones (Tuesday again no problem, Sparkle on It's Wednesday, and Out of Touch Thursday) since those are pretty uplifting ones, and maybe some old classics like Rick Rolling and All Star that have been around for everrrrrrrr. and even then they're on thin ice.

Been thinking a lot about how there's just a pokemon academy in Unova and I'm thinking about how Deimos and Phobos pulling up as new students would be super super funny.
Because like Gris may not seem like it, but they would push the twins to do go ad learn as much as they can. Ingo as well but he also would want the twins to feel adequately challenged enough, so the both of them would send Deimos and Phobos to that school
But imagine, like, let's say Kieran in his 'I have to be the best, train the best, do the best arc, and two new kids show up that are:
The sons of the infamous subway boss tha may or may not have been missing for +3 years.
AND also related to the infamous big bad boss of team skull.
AND are the sons of an almost-alolan champion who may or may not have fought arceus (debatable depending on what made up story volo's been telling).
The second Deimos and Phobos make it past the elite 4, Kieran is cooked.

The Bhaalist tribunal hall is cold and damp. Braziers line the walls and hang from the ceiling, glowing with pale fire that throws weird shadows along the floor.
Tumblr media
A long red carpet leads Hector and his companions towards a small stone dais which faces a set of three thrones with a larger one behind.
The three smaller thrones each hold a figure bathed in blood, shimmering faintly in the torchlight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And on the larger throne sits a broad-shouldered figure in silver armor, seated beneath an effigy of skull and bone.
Tumblr media
...You've got to be fucking kidding me.
--------
OK, the narrative shit is going to have to wait till the next post because as;pdlkjfapsoidjfpaosidjfpoasjidfpoijs
FUCKING SAREVOK?
FUCKING SAREVOK IS HERE??JE:LPrjiapowijfpoaisjdfpoajisdpofaji
OK. Calm. Breathe.
We know the three in front of him as well, all from the Throne of Bhaal expansion of BG2. Illasera and Sendai were two of the Five - the Bhaalspawn generals that were attempting a plot to resurrect Bhaal which Amelyssan was the mastermind of (except it turned out that Amelyssan wanted Bhaal's power to herself instead).
And then Sarevok...
[sigh]
OK, like, we did know he was alive as of the end of ToB, because the game forced Caden to give Sarevok some of his life essence so he could leave hell, in order to progress the plot. So on some level this isn't surprising I GUESS. But aughhh.
HE'S HUMAN. HOW IS HE STILL HERE CAUSING MISCHIEF? AND BY MISCHIEF I MEAN MASS MURDER!
Between Volo, Minsc, and now Sarevok, the human lifespan is really starting to seem more like a suggestion than a fact.
Caden, in the back of my mind, is FURIOUS that Sarevok is back in play. And oh, man. Jaheira and Minsc are going to flip a shit.
I'M flipping a shit.

okokkok soo Scout’s Honour!! The main plot at the moment is that a bunch of campers come to a camp in the middle of nowhere (which doesn’t have a name yet ajdhkddh) and the start of the campaign is them learning about socialising with other campers and the camp leaders. All the players have to do all the regular character sheet stuff except they’re all human, and they choose a goal and a fear which they can choose to either make it publicly know or keep it a secret!
Then, depending on the way the plot’s going, the five characters somehow stumble across The Five Spectres, which are a bunch of masked figures. They consist of:
Alaric (Bear skull spirit and bringer of patience)
Tyche (Fish skull spirit and bringer of new life)
Phobes (Rabbit skull spirit and bringer of love)
Volos (Fox skull spirit and master of trickery)
Saoirse (Goat skull spirit and bringer of freedom)
They all have an item blessed by them to give to their ‘Champion’. Their Champion is a chosen human to complete the spirit’s goals and fight for them. Volos stole all the spirits masks at one point and now all of them have turned on eachother and basically are having a decades long family feud lmao
Also once I learn more about all the characters from the party, I’ll add more to the spirits so they can reflect their Champion (and for bonus character development points!!) For example my friend who’s playing the Champion of Alaric, all he’s told me is that his character’s goal is to be loved by everyone/be cool and his character arc will be him learning about self love. And I’ve added in my notes that Alaric is also the bringer of self worth and that he’ll offer that to my friends character for evil reasons :]]
The spirits also mark their Champions with a small red mark of their animal but simplified (like kid’s book animals in a way?). The way they do this is by hurting their champion/drawing blood! An example, Tyche (fish spirit) gives their Champion a fishing hook and to mark them (sorry this is a bit gory i guess i said it was gory but yeah yeah) rips through their eyelid and then the character wake up in bed, with a simplified red fish mark on their eyelid.
This mark is a blood pact that the Champions will fight eachother for the spirits since the spirits can’t harm eachother. And the players would have to find out how to break the curse!! Yeah yeah! Thats all i have at the moment :D (i also have the camp leaders they’re chill)
(I can send the descriptions of each spirit as well if you’re interested! sorry for all the new loreee)

“hey mister do you want any skull scout cookies. Ten bucks for a box.” They’re filled with takis hot sauce.
Tumblr media
Volo squinted at the cookies, then the kid holding the box. "Ten bucks, are you-- that's a lot. Those things made of gold or something?" He asked with a light laugh and a strained smile.
Kid was definitely scamming him. But he had to respect the attempt at least.
"How many cookies even come in a box? Like, six?"

Im in my pokemon era heres a pokemon majoras mask au
Tumblr media
Its kinda like sv where hms is the “professor” and your mission is to get an ancient artifact for him (majoras mask) and you spend the whole game chasing skull kid, but skull kid sends after boss pokemon (like usual where theres totems instead of gyms) and when you actually retrieve the mask and give it back to hms he goes volo and actually kinda betrays you and summons the main evil legendary of the game being majora AND THERES A TIME LIMIT TO DEFEATING IT BECAUSE OF THE MOON UGGHHHHHHHHHUN

My friend, I love you, but you’re bringing me down
In which Val encounters a weird skull in the coastlands and gets a touch unwell over it. Meanwhile, Volo tries to have a heart-to-heart with his buddy, and it turns about as foreboding as expected.
been wanting to write little scenes of val and volo for a bit!! may write more, albeit very out of order. may put them all together in a lil fic one day. who knows....
(for a lil context, val has a shiny hypno for a partner and volo uses they/he pronouns)
---
The sun-soaked sands of Hideaway Bay have never felt more inviting than they do now. Any roving Ambipom or Sealeo having seemingly retired for the evening early, leaving Val in his torn coat and sweaty chest wrap, alone. And that was just fine with him at the moment. He barely had the mind to notice just how hot it was getting under his Unovan leather. He was warned it was going to be a balmy evening for the coastlands, but the only thing Val could bring himself to care about, sat cross-legged on the loamy beachside, was the large, loose pokemon skull sunk into the seafoam.
And it was in pristine condition.
It’s head is like clay. A light and faded lavender clay. It can be molded, changed. But Val doesn’t dare alter it. An unknown reverence for the thing in his heart. He traces the pads of his fingers over small, squared horns and on the underside of the skull, feeling the debris and sand stuck in the corners of flat teeth, and feeling the holes where nostrils would have been just a few layers of hide and sinew above, a bit further down the length of the snout than where he expected they’d be placed. This thing looked like any other Aerodactyl skull he’d seen on school trips as a kid, but the sparks that shot just under his fingertips, as he ran moist palms over the soft, malleable head, carried with them such an unparalleled appeal.
The only other thing Val can muster to think of in this moment is Volo. Volo knows so much of Hisui’s legends and fauna. Val can’t help but wonder if they would know something about this too. If they’d feel the same unfounded sense of care for this thing as Val did.
Surely. Surely.
Volo found a certain care and nostalgia for even the gloomiest of tales they could muster, when they were in the mood to even recount a tragedy. Surely they would understand how Val felt now. How everything in this moment felt so. Beyond him. So new. So enthralling.
Then, a hot spark shoots through the back of his head. The tips of Val’s fingers leave perfect indents in the skull’s forehead. His jaw goes slack for a moment, before his breathing stills and steadies once more. The spark turns to a comforting buzz before quickly fading.
No.
No.
Val oh so carefully places the skull back into the seafoam, so Lugia’s waters may lap at the thing’s teeth once more. And Val gets to his feet and his spine ices in place for a moment and leaves him lovingly stunned, observing white ripples worm and seep their ways between crooked molars, and for once he understands Volo’s intrigue; their raw and running desire to know the unknown.
And yet.
No.
Volo does not need to know about this.
Volo doesn’t need to know everything. Not at all.
This moment is just a gift for Val to have.
Val stumbles from out the wood just as the blue dark of night begins to settle beneath the trees and under cliffsides. In a moment, a nearby Hypno’s ears twitch, and the pokemon rushes to her partner’s side to assist him through scratching bramble that clambers along the hill. Vim curls the tip of her snout and mutters steady ‘hyp. hyp. hyp.’s as Val assures her he’s just fine. She does not let go of his arm, but at least eases up on her death grip. Her scaly pink skin glimmers lightly in the last few rays of the sun and she flags down the sunflower merchant just off in the distance with an easy, slow wave.
Volo comes bearing down the grassy hills with his trademark grin, jangling the entire way. Togetic follows in eager pursuit, and happily chirps and flutters around her psychic-type friend upon catching up.
“Ah, my friend! You had your dear Hypno worried sick!” Volo teases and shakes a finger just at Val’s nose. “And well. You had worried me a bit as well. But I stayed strong for dear Vim! Who knows where she’d be without me?”
Vim waggles her nose in the merchant’s direction with a furrowed brow and a roll of the eyes. Volo just chuckles into the back of his hand. But his typical mirth doesn't last long, upon taking in Val’s appearance. The time-walker was red in the face from the heat, no surprise, but he looked. Off. Out of it. Volo adjusts the brim of his hat out of habit and cocks a brow.
“Just what were you doing out in the bay, anyhow? Can’t imagine us finding much of interest with the Remoraid.” He dots his sentence with an involuntary snicker. Also out of habit.
Val purses his lips for a moment, dry and cracked. He can’t exactly say he remembers. Val’s thoughts come slow and his words a bit of a slurry. “There weren’t any pokemon out there, you know.” He pauses, glancing back at the trees, at the faint hint of sea just beyond the woods. “There’s just. Nothing was there.”
In the time it takes for Val to return to his senses, Volo presses the back of his hand to the smaller man’s forehead and frowns like a disappointed parent. “Valentine, you’re feeling feverish. You truly can’t remember what you were doing?”
Val couldn’t respond. He hated that he couldn’t. Arceus, why couldn’t he remember? Why did his brain feel like a vat of sludge? Nothing happened. Nothing happened.
…And Volo only called him by his full name when he was worried. Or trying to soften him up. He didn’t want Volo to worry about him. He still couldn’t help the notion making his blood sizzle a bit. And moreover, now, twisting his stomach. All these months later, and he still wanted an absolutely no-strings-attached relationship with the merchant.
Don’t feel bad for him. Like his dopey ass could compare to Volo’s own burning scars. Don’t feel Bad for him. It makes him sick. It makes the shame burn in his face redder than the 90 degree heatwave melting the evening beaches.
And clearly, Val wasn’t keeping watch of his own expressions, as he never did. Because Volo’s piercing gaze eased from one of concern to one of a gentle warmth, only ever reserved for him. Volo places a firm hand on the other’s back and eases him forward. “...How about we just turn in for the night?”
And Volo only ever talked like this when they wanted to coax Val into doing something. Even if it was just out of worry.
…Val couldn’t say he necessarily minded it, in all honesty. Good intentions or bad.
But Val had spent enough time with the merchant by this point. They weren’t completely unreadable anymore, and Val could tell when they weren’t being genuine. They were never Not genuine around him anymore. Not in a while, anyway.
There was a slight waver in Volo’s steady foundation as he kept an eye on the terrain ahead. But everytime he noticed the time-walker studying him, he’d turn back into the soft, chipper-toned salesman from before. And he’d try to keep Val’s mind busy with light-hearted bits of gossip he’d heard around Jubilife that week. Whether it was to distract Val from his own problems or from Volo himself, Val couldn’t be sure. Then again, Val wouldn’t put it past Volo to be a very skilled multitasker.
Val huffed to himself. Volo wanted to say something else. Val knew that. Volo knew that Val knew that. And eventually, Volo relented, trailing off from a story about Cyllene and a Dustox with an awkward silence and near audible swallow.
“...I do apologize if I’ve been pushy these past few weeks. I know the prospect of finishing our collection has made me a bit. Eager.” Volo tightens their jaw a moment, a slight dusting of red on their cheeks. “If you’d like, I can look for the rest of the plates on my own. Just have you accompany me. Like before.”
The crunch of gravel under Volo’s boots is suddenly more present than ever. They do not look Val in the eyes anymore. “The last thing I’d want is to make your time here weigh any heavier on your mind.”
Val glances at Volo, perplexed. He was used to Volo being a bit out there. Val couldn’t say he wasn't either, especially not around this region, but the rare moments Volo spoke out of tune, spoke so very morbidly genuine, it always struck Val. Those were lines he always locked away in his mind for safekeeping, just in case.
Volo notices Val’s raised brows and lips parted in an uneasy contemplation. He huffs from his nose, grin threatening to appear again. “That is to say, I don’t want you getting sick on my behalf! Not for my silly little indulgences, you know?”
Val turns away and fiddles with the torn insides of his coat pockets, rolling ripped fabric between fingers. He beats back the guilt swimming in his guts again. “It’s not your fault.” He pauses. “It’s not you. I think I’m just-”
“-Overwhelmed?” Volo tries to finish.
Val shakes his head. “I don’t about that. I just. Don’t feel like we’re any closer to figuring out what’s wrong with me. I just want to know what I did so I can fix it, you know. I don’t know what Arceus thinks I’m supposed to gain from being kept in the dark.”
Volo frowns, grim again, and again avoiding Val’s gaze like his life depended on it. He tilts the brim of his hat, and the dark of the evening obscures his eyes.
“...I can’t say I understand It’s ways either, my friend. Arceus’ decisions continue to remain… enigmatic. Perhaps that knowledge is simply not meant for us.” Their voice is so very at peace for someone always so very hungry for information, for understanding. “And yet, something tells me that I can still be proven false.”
Their lips curve up into a smile again. Their eyes are still hidden, but their smile. It’s another gentle one. For some reason, the fact that it’s so sweet and familiar chills Val’s heart just a hair.
Val mutters his friend’s name as a question, and receives a warm hand ruffling up his hair in response. Volo’s sweet smile turns into a wide grin, and they shake another finger. “We’ll get our answers soon, Valentine.”

for the half-Pokémon au I imagine mimikyus have (or can create) long, ribbon-ish shadowy tendrils so guzma probably ended up being born with some
how’s his relationship with his mimikyu bio dad?
also: volo accidently losing joltik-illusioned emmet because he’s so tiny, sending him into a panic while Emmet dozes until he wakes up and wanders back to find volo, whom he gives a hug
Guzma is trying he isn't really used to having a good father he still flinches whenever his bio dad tries to give him a hug
His bio Dad's name is Mitchell granted nobody calls him that because everyone is pretty scared of him
He is a big softy and Guzma quickly realizes that he tries but all he can think of is the abusive parents who raised him
Mitchell is trying his best to not kill them, what woukd they fo arrest a pokemon, but he has been a pacifist for the past 20 years which isn't a lot but he has streak. He would gladly break it if Guzma asked though.
Guzma uses the shadow arms and ribbons to help fix up Po town with everyone because Po town basically became a place for team skull aka teens and kids and young adults who were cast out for being different have a place there
Guzma is really doing a good thing but nobody believes that after ather
Volo would be panicked looking everywhere and even roping Emmet's pokemon into it it ends with Emmet waking up and pulling Volo into a tight hug because Volo is suppose to be his nap buddy

Reminder! Pls talk about Mars’ and Pluto’s relationships with canon characters, I wish to know the ✨Dynamics✨
YO THANK YOU!!! OK SO ill just split this between Mars n Pluto respectively- also this is going to be a long one so strap in SLDKFJ
Mars:
In Alola: So heres the thing with Mars. She was a former team skull grunt before it disbanded. So she knows a lot of the folks from there. Besides being close with Guzma and Plumeria she didn't really interact with any of the main cast from Alola. She got her starter from Hala and has talked to Kukui before but thats about it.
She knows Pluto of course and tagged along with him when he wasn't busy with trials. She didn't succeed in the island challenge but it didnt bother her too much, she just likes hanging out with Pluto cause its fun! And it was cool to battle him every now and then to test their strength. Pluto was always the better battler, mainly cause he actually thought stuff out and didnt act on impulse like Mars.
In Hisui: So out of everyone shes probably the closest to Volo and Ingo. Volo because she thinks hes fun and he appreciates her interest in the mythology of the land. I imagine that the plot of this timeline probably carries out through several months cause PLA moves pretty quick- Anyways she probably grows to consider Volo an almost brother figure which. WOO BOY. Poor thing.
She originally bonded with Ingo over the fact they can't remember jack shit. But Mars saw he looked kinda lonely and went "lol not on my watch" and hung around him in her freetime. Mars is still a kid so having an adult she can trust really helped her a lot. And I think Mars's presence would help Ingo a lot since he mainly just stares into space at the training ground until he has to do Warden Stuff. Anyways congrats to Mars for having the talent of gathering guardian figures like cool rocks.
As for the Galaxy Team I think shes on good terms with Kamado and Cyllene. Shes a hard worker and really does not like to disappoint so that certainly aided their view on her. She isn't close to any of them, mainly just views them as her bosses. Still hurt really bad when she and Pluto were banished from Jubilife.
As for Rei and Akari she is definitely friends with them!! She enjoys their company on research expeditions and they're really fun to battle and talk with. Pluto is still her best friend, of course, but shes grown pretty friendly with the two.
And as for everyone else, I think she has a super positive outlook on both clans, especially their leaders. The wardens are all nice too! Again she isnt particularly close to any of them but she still considers them friends.
Pluto:
In Alola: So his relationships with other characters are pretty similar to the MC in USUM's relationships as he fills that role. Despite being pretty quiet and antisocial he still managed to befriend Hau, Lillie, and Gladion. He liked talking pokemon with Kukui but due to how loud and excitable Kukui is he can't really handle him for too long. No fault of the professor, Pluto just has a social battery to look out for.
He probably maintains a more respectful outlook on the Kahunas and the trial leaders, but not much more than that. Not that he doesn't like them, but all of them have their duties and their lives. He was just another challenger who got lucky.
Regarding team skull, he probably doesn't think much of them. A very neutral outlook. He is more concerned about Mars' safety than anything. He doesn't trust Guzma or Plumeria, any of the grunts either, but as long as Mars isnt in danger, he can tolerate them.
In Hisui: So Pluto is VASTLY more closed off in Hisui. He barely trusts anyone. He especially doesn't trust Kamado or the clan leaders. Pluto is just very concerned and while he doesn't want to think about it, slightly scared. So having these strangers all so suddenly in his life is putting him very high on alert.
The only people he trusts are Mars of course, Cyllene, and Ingo. Mars because he's been friends with her forever and would trust her with everything. Cyllene is an odd one but he managed to befriend her. Somehow. Even he doesn't know. But he knows she isn't like Kamado and that was confirmed after she offered her help post-banishment. He appreciates how seriously she takes the research and talks about technical things with her when he isnt working.
He didn't trust Ingo at first but through Mars he began to trust him more. He slowly began to hang around him when Mars wasn't there, listening to Ingo talk. Pluto knew he probably needed someone to just talk to and he was more than willing to listen. Besides he had some interesting things to say. Eventually he trusted him enough to actually talk in front of him without Mars. It was a nice moment :]
As for Rei and Akari, he sees them as coworkers. He isn't friends with them but its not like he actively dislikes their presence. Hes a tad wary but they're kids. Kids wrapped around Kamado's finger, but still kids. Good kids. He does, however, appreciate how seriously Rei takes his job as a researcher and how much hes managed to learn. He also appreciates Akari's tenacity and how passionate she is.
He doesnt trust Irida and Adaman. Appreciates their help, but hes just wary of them. He doesnt like how Kamado and the two have basically put the weight of the world on his and Mars' shoulders.
OK SO thats it!! i covered a lot but if theres any questions please ask !!! sorry for the text dump i just really had a lot to say LSKDJF

Campaign setting: Primordia
This setting is meant to capture a pre-historic/skull island type of atmosphere. The people are primitive and have yet to develope past their stone age, making due with simple supplies such as bone and hide. Obviously, it is much more than just a prehistoric earth - otherwise there would be no reason for me to write about it. Primordia’s swamps, jungles, and plains are home to an assortment of monstrous beasts, giant insects, and what we would recignise as dinisaurs.
Intended audience:
This setting is quite versatile in the kind of players it can be preseted to. For younger players, it can easily take on a lighthearted, flinstone-esque theme. Dinosaurs are something that a lot of little kids are interested in (although if you’re an adult who likes dinosaurs, I’m not judging you), and it can be refreshing for a GM who doesn’t feel like running yet another midevil fairy tail. However, it doesn’t have to be limited to children. Think of Jurassic Park and King Kong. Only scarier. The setting could be used to create some pretty memorable horror themed adventures. The relative lack of magic means it could also easily fit a sword and sorcery theme. Naturally, you are free to use any or all of these themes in any combination you prefer, based on your party’s preferences and your experience with the themes.
Races:
Humans are, as usual, a young race by comparison to the others, but their ingenuity and resilience have made them one of the most numerous. They manage to get by in almost all environments, usually in semi-perminent huts or sometimes natural caves. The tribes they group themselves into are based loosely on blood as well as territorial alliences, but their cultural beliefs and practices are surprisingly varied from group to group.
Halflings often live alongside humans, sharing their traditions and attitudes, but have been known to build settlements of their own in secluded and hard to reach places. They value privacy and family units, and tend towards good more than humans do.
Elves are as ancient as dragons, and their oral histories are more extensive and detailed than any other race. They are currently the only race actively and collectively trying to understand and make use of the arcane arts. Their lifestyle is mostly nomadic, and they are constantly moving to follow the migrations of animals and visit holy sites. Elves believe that when the world was created, it’s natural terrain was devided among the variations of their own race, and so regard all others as at best harmless guests to be ignored, and at worst tresspassers. The dark elves were jealous of their bretheren, and so were banished to the deep underground where their hate has festered for millenia.
Dwarves are nearly as old as the elves (older, according to some), and most see themselves as the rightful rulers of the world. This self-rightious attitude is the result of a society built around religion, loyalty, and valor. Although metal working has yet to be widely used or even fully understood, the dwarves of this setting make up for it with their mastery of stone carving (meaning that their in game abilities regarding armor and weapons do not need to be modified). They are also one of the only races to regularly makr use of written language, and the halls of their vast underground cities are covered with hyroglyphs depicting their gods, along with the heroes and rulers of their past.
Other races are also found on primordia. Lizardfolk (as per volo’s guide to monsters) are almost as common as elves and dwarves, and show the same coldly logical attitude as they do in other settings. Dragonborn do not exist as an independent race, but people who worship dragons may be awarded similar apperence and abilities. The reason for this is that they are essentially replaced by lizardfolk, as dragons are seen as something more like powerful and highly evolved dinosaurs than unique magical creatures. Aasimar and tieflings are extremely rare, due to the general lack of non-shamanistic religions, and those that do exist are almost always dwarves (as opposed to humans). Genesai exist in small numbers within elven communities, due to the race’s deep connection with nature. Rock gnomes do not exist, but forest gnomes are fairly common, being to elves what halflings are to humans. There is no reason for half-elves and half-orcs not to exist, but they rarely form their own communities because their parent races are a little less judgmental towards them than in other races (after all, a baby is a baby, and a member of the tribe should always be protected and sheltered).
Magic:
Magic, for the most part, is regarded with fear and suspicion. The only spellcasters that exist in significant numbers are druids and rangers, and even they tend to inspire fear in most. Due to the extreme lack of knowledge regarding the arcane -not to mention the general lack of written language- wizards are practically unheard of. There is also a lack of clerics and paladins among all races except the dwarves, as they are the only ones who widely practice religion of the appropriat type. Warlocks are more common then wizards by far, but are still a little rarer than druids. Sorcerers are a little more common than warlocks, as becoming one requires no special effort (one is either born a sorcerer, or isn’t), but both are still rare enough that they genarally are found ruling over their brethren through a mix of fear and reverence. Knowledge of the other planes is limited outside of a few vague legends about the afterlife, and spells that allow travel to them are extremely diffucult to find. Due to this lack of understanding, the cosmology of this world is not likely to come into play and so I leave it to the GM running the campaign. The only note worth adding on the subject is that any other planes the players visit should be mysterious and strange, to help convay the confusion and forbearance felt by the player characters.
