Noticed this snowy egret stepping on her chicks a bit due to having a pretty wobbly palm frond nest (wouldn’t have been my first choice for a nest but yknow). Check out that retaliatory PECK from baby who got stomped on a bit
Saw this Snowy Egret at City Park when I was taking photos of the nesting Cormorants. A very beautiful bird, I got a photo of one last year (maybe the same one) and have used it a the wallpaper on my phone sense. I love their plumage, how it looks like long hair. Bet their all metal heads.

You'll need to look carefully, there are three egrets on top of this tree, one is hidden behind another. The egrets on the right are great egrets (Ardea alba) and I think the one on the left with the black beak is a snowy egret (Egretta thula). These birds are waiting for me to leave a small hidden pond in Albany, Georgia. I was intruding.
