going shopping for wedding clothes with my mother in uhhh approximately 2 hours. please send prayers out to every deity you know for me

I didn’t do hourly comics day this year because I’m already doing my daily temperatures and that’s already too much but here is a run down all the same:

01.02.2024

12-3:30am: general tomfoolery

3:30-6:30: sleep

6:30-7:20: disbelief at alarms actually going off and making me be awake.

8:00: arrive at work, see email from boss that makes me consider resigning before 9am.

9:00-11:59: work in misery

12:00: leave early drive to the airport.

12:40-2:10: wait at arrivals with oldest friends mum.

2:10: friend finally appears, did in fact bring ‘new’ husband with her. (They’ve been married 2 years but I’ve never met him so no final sign off)

3:00: eat still cold in the middle pie at butterfly creek. Eat all of pie because friend’s mum bought it. Listen to stories of recent travels.

3:30: say goodbye to friend, her husband, and her mum. They go home to Rotorua.

3:30-4:30: drive home from airport

5:00: lie down, have to leave again at 5:30

6:15-8:00 at summer hockey. We lose but we have fun and seeing my friends.

8:00-9:00: try to find creme egg at a shop. Any shop. Eventually fulfilled endeavour.

10:00: shower.

11:00: fall asleep on sofa

12:00 get cross at video for buffering too much.

Hopefully that paints a picture of the day.

Very nice to get friend back. She was too far away.
