When you'd first met Springtrap, it was safe to say this wasn't how you'd expected him to be.

But here you were, laying next to him as he took in all the affection you gave that he hadn't been given in decades. Touch starved was an understatement.

He still didn't talk much, that hadn't changed, he really couldn't due to, y'know, not having vocal cords anymore. All his talking came from his damaged voice box that wasn't all that functional now. It was still easy to tell how he felt though, as he was pretty much melting in your arms by now. He laid his head against you, tail wagging, his arms around you, too. You'd spent most of the day together trying to do some repairs to the suit. Not much had been done, but with enough work, you'd gotten some of the fur to at least somewhat of a less matted and awful texture. You were happy you'd gotten it done, but nothing could compare to how excited Springtrap obviously was. He'd spent most of the time after that just talking about how the suit used to look back when it was in use. He'd wanted to keep talking, but his voicebox was worn out for the day and speaking was getting too tiring, so he had settled for just being able to be this close to you.

There was a slight mechanic click as you lifted his head slightly to look at him, his eyes glowing with his happiness. Despite not being able to talk, he still gave you a soft noise that sounded like if a broken car tried to breathe. His ears flopped over your head as he closed his eyes and presses his nose up to your face, wanting to signal his feelings without words.

So, yeah, when you'd first found a nearly seven foot tall animatronic with a corpse in it, you hadn't expected to cuddle with him at 2 in the morning while you fell asleep, but here you were.

You wouldn't give it up for anything, though.
