Could you do some headcanons of hop with a reader (who is an electric type specialist) who acts like an older sibling to him.

Like one day (before the events of swsh) he challenged them to a battle without knowing they basically have a full team (have you’ve seen that meme of the bug catcher trying to fight the mc who had a zecrom? Because it’s basically that)

And since then on they took him under their wing, Like giving him advice on pokemon battles, help him in his lowest,maybe even gifted him his pincurchin.

I LOVE that meme. And just because of that, imma include Zekrom in this

Determined as ever to surpass Leon and become Galar's newest champion, Hop was ready to begin training before he took on the gym challenges...

So he gets somewhat "battle hungry", wanting to fight all trainers he crosses paths with.

Eventually fate leads to him meeting you, an experienced electric-type specialist who managed to tame the mighty Zekrom, on one of the routes you loved sightseeing on.

The second he notices the pokeballs on your belt, he demands a battle, sending out Wooloo before you could say either yes or no.

You lead with Zekrom...who pretty much OHKOs the poor little sheep (much to Hop's shock, amazement, and devastation).

He's quickly humbled by his defeat, realizing he messed with the wrong trainer....but he grows to admire you and wants to know how to become stronger.

You're impressed by his perseverance, thus you decide to help him on his journey to the Galar Championship.

You've always wanted to mentor somebody, but a lot of young trainers were intimidated by your sheer strength despite you only ever using electric types.

Hop was different, though, as he didn't back down from your offer for even a moment.

So you guided him through the world of pokemon battling as he slowly builds up his team, suggesting ways he can beat Victor/Gloria despite his starter's type disadvantage.

This kid sure burned bright, like a G-Max Fireball.

Yet you soon noticed how that fire kept getting snuffed out....over and over again, in fact, as his rival kept beating him at every turn.

Some days, Hop could brush it off, but others you noticed his focus was slipping during practice battles (ie he accidentally calls out an ineffective attack)

After Bede said some rather insulting things to him one day, he showed up at your court looking absolutely depressed.

He eventually confides in you about changing up his whole team, feeling like he's "embarrassing" his older brother by always falling short, etc. and you're there to listen and support him.

You joked about sic'ing Zekrom on Bede's team and he's like "please don't"-

The championships never really mattered much to you, but to Hop they meant everything, especially as he's trying to live up to Leon's legacy.

You gifted him a Pincurchin you caught not too long ago, explaining how its Lightning Rod ability made it an absolute powerhouse if hit by an electric-type attack....and he just tears up and hugs you, promising to cherish this little Pokémon.

It seems you've finally brought that spark (pun intended) back into his eyes, as he has kept Pincurchin on his team ever since, growing stronger and stronger everyday and remember everything you've taught him.

But even after losing the semifinals (and ultimately deciding to become a pokemon professor), Hop owes it all to you for helping him believe in himself.

Poképlushies:Pt.3!

You really enjoy creating pokemon plushies so you decide to surprise your partner with them!

Characters: Hop, Bede & Marnie!

Hop

For Hop, you decided to gift him a decently sized Wooloo plushie!

You made it using actual Wooloo fur and made it extra soft on the inside!

So when you give it to him, he looks at you in surprise.

He looks at you, the plushie, and then you again.

Physical embodiment of the :o emoji

He’s so happy when he realises it really is for him!

From then on he swears to take perfect care of the wooloo plushie. He treats it as if it’s his own living breathing Pokémon!

He tells Leon as soon as he can, and the moment he comes back home he shows it to him in person!

He might be busy quite a lot of the time, training up his pokemon, making sure they’re strong and in tip-top shape, or spending time at the Pokémon research lab, but he makes sure that plushie wooloo is still squeaky clean!

When you visit his house you’re surprised that it was as still as clean as when you first gave it to him

This was because in his free time, he’d made sure to wash it really nicely!

He doesn’t bring it with him though. It’s too big to fit with him, it takes up too much room in his bag :((

But whenever he’s at home in Wedgehurst, he does sleep with it! It’s the perfect size for cuddling, and he loves that Wooloo so much <33

Bede

For Bede, you wanted to get him something small.

Even though he specialised in fairy types, you wanted to get him something that was memorable and nostalgic!

So you made him a tiny Hatenna, big enough to cuddle with but small enough that it could fit in his bag!

He wouldn’t carry it everywhere with him, but if he was staying in a certain area for longer than 5 days, he’d bring it with him.

Bede really adores it. It reminds him of when he was a little boy, his Hatenna was the first Pokémon he’d ever received. It brought him a lot of happiness, and even now, he enjoys looking at the sweet little Poképlush.

He also loves the fact that it’s from you!

I think this ties in with the fact that one of Bede’s love languages is gift giving, from both ends!

He’s sometimes unable to show how he feels about you to the extent he wants to, so he thinks of gifts to be a surefire way to show his love for you.

I feel like a conversation held between the two of you several days later would play out like this:

“Bede, what did you think of the Hatenna I made for you?”

And he’d look at you and say “it’s nice, thank you for making it for me,” with his small signature smirk.

On the inside though???

This dude would have so much to say about it, but he just can’t find the words for it!

Marnie

You made Marnie a Morpeko, a similar size to the one she owns!

Initially, her Morpeko was confused. It didn’t register the fact that it was just a plushie, so it spent a few moments trying to talk it.

It was funny for a bit, however Morpeko realised what was up, and left it alone after.

Marnie takes it home with her later, simply sitting in silence, gazing at it in awe. She loves how detailed it was, and she loved how much effort you’d put into making it look like her own.

She’s also 100% the type of girl to have a room filled to the brim with stuffed animals and hug them at night.

Now she’s found a new cuddle buddy with her Morpeko plushie!

She sleeps with it every night now, it reminds her of you <3

Although Marnie is out a lot, she likes coming back home because she gets to hug the Morpeko plushie a lot!

That said, Marnie would never forgive herself it she accidentally got it torn or dirtied in any way, she’d be very upset about it

Even when you tell her you can just wash the stain out or sew it back up she’s still really mad at herself for letting it happen :((

But that’s just a hypothetical, it’s still squeaky clean and she intends to keep it that way!

Your plushie Morpeko has successfully made its way onto a permanent spot on Marnie’s bed, as well as her heart. Be proud!

I know a lot of people already created an alternate evolution/fakemon for Wooloo based on the concept of “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”, but the other day I thought of “Awoo” (spelling out how a howl sounds), and it made “Awooloo” click in my head, so I had to draw something for it!

Occasionally, Wooloo and Dubwool will share their coats with young orphaned Pokemon, who slowly take to living with them as part of the flock. Some of these Pokemon would have otherwise been predators, but become protective of their adoptive family.

Awooloo are believed to be distant cousins of Rockruff, but have spent so many generations living with Wooloo, they now grow their own wool and have more in common with the sheep Pokemon, though they tend to be more nocturnal and still adept at hunting/tracking. They communicate with different howls, letting parental Pokemon know where lost infants are, or to warn the group of danger.

Werewool is the evolved form of Awooloo, made possible with a Moon Stone. Easier to distinguish from the sheep Pokemon it tends to live with, Werewool are fiercely protective of anybody they consider family, and are willing to adopt any young Pokemon in need, regardless of what it looks like. Occasionally, they will even rescue lost humans in the woods. Werewool see perfectly in the dark, when they defend their territory and hunt, but are generally docile during the day.

Aged Up Hop x Non-Binary Reader

Prompt - " I'll always protect you"

You are traveling though the Wild Area to get to Hammerlock when you hear something.

It sounded like a Pokémon battle and someone just lost. You wanted to know if everyone was okay. It was fine, you were procrastinating going to Hammerlock anyway. So you pulled out your bike and started to ride to the area where you heard it.

It took you a while to find it but when you did your heart dropped. Hop was leaning over his Wooloo.

His Wooloo looked beat, and it needed to get help. When you heard laughing, you looked over to see two members of Team Yell.

You gritted your teeth.

You could piece together what happened. Neither of them seemed to notice you. You were about to go help Hop when one of the grunts started to speak. “That was one of the worst battles I’ve had!” They yelled and their friend yelled too.

“You’re the worst”, “So weak”, “You should get rid of that Wooloo”.

It went on and the more they spoke the more angry you got. The truth was that you were Hop’s partner.

You two started dating about halfway through your journey. You cared about Hop so hearing these losers talk bad about him made your blood boil.

Your hands were clenching your bike's handles and your breathing started to increase. Though you didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Hop because of the journey you still cared about him. He was your best friend.

When one of the grunts started to walk closer to Hop that's when you lost it. “Hey!” You yelled, scaring some Pokémon.

You dropped your bike and walked in front of Hop. You hovered your hand over your Pokeballs, ready to grab one if the Grunts wanted to fight.

Both the grunts and Hop were surprised when you revealed yourself. “Leave”, you said through gritted teeth.

The grunts were surprised by your anger but they didn’t move. “No”, one of them said. “You can’t tell us to leave”, the other said. You glanced back at Hop.

Wooloo needed help, you needed to finish this fast.

“No I can’t tell you”, you grabbed one of your Pokeballs, “But I can make you”. The grunts realized that they should leave and they did.

The smart choice. Once you made sure that they were gone, you placed your Pokeball back and turned around.

You immediately crouched down and dropped your bag. You got out a Full Revive and sprayed Wooloo. After a bit Wooloo looked to be better.

“Thank you Y/n”, Hop got Wooloo back in its Pokeball. You stood up and offered your hand to Hop.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen you”, you said. Already calmer than before. Hop smiled but you could tell that it was forced.

“Why don’t we catch up?” Hop said with a fake smile. You nodded and grabbed Hop’s hand. You looked around for a clearing before finding one and walking there with Hop.

You and Hop exchanged stories about what’s been happening. You were happy to see Hop again and you could tell Hop was happy to see you too.

But you could also tell that Hop was saddened. You knew that it was probably about what Team Yell said and that made you mad all over again.

You wanted to ask Hop what was wrong.

Once you got to the clearing Hop started to set up but you placed your hand on his shoulder. Hop looked at you before you spoke.

“Are you okay?” You asked, and Hop looked back down. Hop sat, and you sat with him. “No. What they said hurt man”, you knew what and who Hop was talking about.

“They were right”, that made you mad. No. They were wrong. Hop was really strong and great and battles.

Hop had self-esteem issues because of being the little brother of the Champion. You had helped him, but Hop still needed reassurance.

“Stop talking about yourself like that”, You grabbed Hop’s hands and moved him so you two were facing each other. You were holding Hop’s hands in your and looking in his eyes. You noticed tears brimming his eyes.

“You are great. Do you know how many gym badges you have?” Hop smiled slightly. Last time you saw him, Hop had half of the badges he needed.

By that smile you assumed he had gotten more. “You are a great battler. Even though you lose sometimes you still win”, Hop looked confused at that.

So you explained. “When you lose you can learn from your mistakes and win the next fight”, Hop smiled. “Next time you meet Team Yell you’ll win and rub it in their faces”, you smiled and Hop had to remove his hands and wipe the tears that were falling out. You pulled Hop into a hug.

He was sitting on your lap as he slowly cried onto your jacket. You didn’t mind. “Just let it out. You’ll feel better”, you said while rubbing a hand up and down his back.

Once Hop calmed down he pulled away and you placed a kiss on his forehead. Hop blushed a bit and smiled at you. “Thank you for that Y/n. And thank you for protecting me”. You smiled and looked at Hop in the eyes. 

“I’ll always protect you”

Let's talk about my Pokémon partners! My clinic "mascot" is Chiru, an Altaria who I've known since I studied in Paldea. Those who have known me for a while knew my half-brother, Wolfgang, as well. Though he passed away a hero, protecting our home, I still talk about him a lot, and will continue to do so. Love you always, Wolfy.

My other partners include Ringogo (Appletun), Maamaa (Wooloo), and Momo (Fidough), all of whom provide immense support to my work as therapy Pokemon. I’ve also met Dolly, a deaf Darmanitan, Soda, a Wobbuffet, Wingman (an "ultra-domesticated" Carvanha), Shuu the Servine, Fruit By The Foot the Scolipede (new and improved name for her height!), Chibi the ✨ Vanilluxe, and Amadeus, my Zoroark mix niece (Dark/Ghost).

Steven Stone watched (Y/N) from a distance, his heart pounding in his chest with every move she made. She was a force of nature, commanding attention and admiration wherever she went. Her confidence and strength were intoxicating, and he couldn't tear his eyes away. He tips his head back and drains another full glass of Galarian whiskey. It’s like fire running down his throat. He savours the burn.

In the midst of the pulsating music and neon lights, He continued to watch (Y/N) as she danced with Raihan. The sight of her moving gracefully on the dance floor, her confidence and power on full display, made his heart ache with longing. He couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy as he saw the way the dragon type trainer looked at her, and he knew he was just one of many who admired her.

He had known (Y/N) for years, even before she became the worldwide champion and he became the emissary for the Stone Company. They had formed a close friendship over the years, and he cherished every moment they spent together. But deep down, he couldn't help but want more. He wanted to be the one dancing with her, holding her close, and making her heart race with his words.

Memories of their shared past played like a movie in his mind, taunting him with what could have been. They had been through so much together – battling fierce opponents, exploring new regions, and cheering each other on as they both rose to become champions in their respective regions. (She took his title not soon after, though.) He might have imagined it, but there had always been a spark between them, an unspoken connection that drew them together like magnets. He had never dared to cross that line.

Now, as (Y/N) laughed and flirted with the other partygoers, he couldn't help but wonder if he had missed his chance. He had always been the steady presence in her life, supporting her every step of the way, but he had never taken the risk to reveal his true feelings.

He knew that wasn't meant to be.

As he watched (Y/N) and Raihan dance, he noticed the way her laughter filled the air and how her eyes sparkled with joy. He couldn't help but smile at the sight, even though his heart ached with the knowledge that he would never be the one to make her laugh like that.

And then, as if by some cruel twist of fate, (Y/N) and Raihan made their way back to their table, where Steven was sitting alone. His heart skipped a beat as (Y/N) greeted him with a warm smile, her eyes bright with excitement.

"Hey, Steven!" she said, pulling out a chair and sitting down next to him. "You should have joined us on the dance floor! It's so much fun!" She grabs his newly-filled cup and drains it quickly.

Steven chuckled nervously, trying to hide the turmoil of emotions inside him. "I'm more of a wallflower when it comes to dancing," he replied, offering her a small smile.

(Y/N) grinned playfully. "Well, I'll have to drag you out there next time," she teased, giving his arm a playful nudge.

He felt a rush of warmth at her touch, but he quickly pushed the feeling aside, not wanting to betray the friendship they had.

As the night went on, the three of them laughed and joked, sharing stories and memories. Raihan was actually quite interesting for a gym leader with a buzzing fanbase. Steven couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and joy in (Y/N)'s presence, even though his heart still longed for more.

When it was time to leave the club, Steven fought with Raihan offered to walk (Y/N) back to her hotel. She smiled gratefully and linked her arm with his as they walked together through the neon-lit streets.

As they strolled along, (Y/N) talked excitedly about her journey as the worldwide champion and her plans to visit the Hoenn league to see if y’all are still training hard she said. He laughed and she punched his arm.

They reached the entrance of her hotel, and (Y/N) turned to face him with a warm smile. "Thank you for tonight, Steven," she said, her eyes shining. "I had so much fun."

Steven nodded, trying to keep his emotions in check. "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself," he replied. "You looked amazing out there on the dance floor."

(Y/N) blushed slightly but it’s from the alcohol, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink. "Thank you," she said, her voice soft and sincere.

In that moment, Steven felt a surge of courage, a desire to tell her how he felt. He almost smacked his own forehead. It wasn't the right time or place. He didn't want to burden her with his own feelings, not when she had so much on her plate already.

Instead, he smiled warmly at her and said, "I'll always be here for you, (Y/N). No matter what happens, you can count on me."

Her eyes softened, and she reached out to give his hand a gentle squeeze. "Thank you, Steven," she said, her voice filled with genuine appreciation. "You're such a good friend."

And with those words, Steven knew that he would continue to be there for (Y/N), even if it meant hiding his own feelings. He would cherish every moment they shared, every laugh, every smile, even if it was just as friends.

Because sometimes, love comes in unexpected ways, and sometimes, the most meaningful relationships are the ones that start as friendships. And Steven was willing to wait, to be patient, and to be the best friend he could be, knowing that (Y/N) was worth every moment of longing and every beat of his heart.

Milo x reader - Round up (SFW)

Walking out to the field, you can't help but to notice how spread out all of the Wooloo were. Things were a mess on the farm this week, which was why Milo had asked you to come by and help him out. Normally he didn't want to bother you with physical work like this even though you offered often.

You could see the buff male standing near a fence with his hand up on his head, stretching as he takes everyone in and considers how he was going to do this.

"Milo!" You call and he turns, smiling at the sight of you. In a cute pair of overalls and a hat to keep the sun off of your face, you were ready to go. He couldn't help but to find you absolutely precious like that. Something about seeing you ready to get your hands dirty made his heart beat faster in his chest.

"There you are, Y/N! Thanks for coming." He beams at you, excited you were there and willing to help with this. "Okay, so we need to get them out of this pasture and into the one over there." He points a ways off where it was easy to see the grass was untouched by the pokemon. They had to rotate them around to give the grass a chance to grow back between.

"Got it! Easy." You say in a teasing way, knowing it wasn't going to be that simple, though you were very excited to help. He motions you along toward the fence. "So basically you hold your arms out and sort of gently move around them to make them go. We need to keep them herded together so they don't end up in the wrong place, okay?" He looked so cute when he was being serious. Despite that, he was still smiling.

"Got it!" With that, he holds your hand as you clambor over the fence and into their pasture. The wooloo bleat and scurry away. They were all riled up because they could sense a change was coming, running around and bleating noisily. You giggle as you move around the edge of the fence to get to the other side while Milo took his side. He opened up the gate and started to make a clicking noise at them. "Go on, friends!" He calls gently and you start to move with your arms spread out, the pokemon scooting along as expected.

Moving along the other side of the herd, he also held his arms out, leading them along through the gate with you. It made you giggle the way you were both T-posing at these pokemon. You knew there was an important purpose but it still looked so silly.

It didn't take too long with your teamwork to get everyone moved and the gate closed. Once they were where they were supposed to be, they had calmed down significantly. Many of them now around your legs and bonking against you and Milo both, wanting attention from you.

"You guys are ridiculous." He laughs joyously, loving all of the wooloo dearly. As he moves over to put an arm around you and pull you into a hug, the jealous pokemon bleat at you both, also wanting attention.

With a laugh, you lean down with him so you can pet those soft babies. Their heads and soft noses that snuffle and nibble at your fingers. They press their woolly bodies up against you as you pet over them with Milo.

He couldn't help that he was admiring you. Your smile perfect in the sunlight. You were perfect to him. He couldn't stand it, pulling you against his body to hold you in a soft, firm hug before loosening his grip again. He would definitely be taking you up on the offer to help more often.

Seeing you out here like this had him feeling very deep in love. "What's that look for?" You ask him curiously, but he smiles and shakes his head, unable to explain the way he felt for you.

Also I adore wooloo’s!! It’s funny how strong their wool actually is, cause if they fall down a high cliff or something similar their wool would protect them, isn’t that fascinating plus it would make a great reader story idea.

You had lost your trainer when going to next city for the other part of your vacation and now walking around trying to find her but as you’ve seem to never really been anywhere.

You were a wooloo before entering it but now you’re a human with features of a wooloo. You had walked in front of Mary so as to not worry her if you were behind her, you marched in a tune you remembered hearing back at home on Mary’s tv and so you became distracted not noticing that Mary is no longer behind you anymore before walking into the city, transforming into a little girl.

And since you had never been human before, you had walked wobbling every second, though you remembered watching Mary walk all the time it was harder than you thought so it took you many tries as you would fall done every so often; it had taken until noon rolled around to at least stay up for a while without falling down.

Now it’s time to find Mary!

You let out a ‘baaa!’ While throwing your hands up in the air in excitement though that set you off balance and made you tip over with how fast you threw your hands in the air.

You prepared for the fall but it never came, when you opened you eyes you see a man with glasses along with clothes that a johto citizen would wear as you’ve in some magazines.

He checked for if you had any injuries before hand, smiling to reassure you; you had let out a small ‘baa?’ all the while tilting your head to the side.

Tang; the man who saved you from scrapes and pain silently ‘aww’ed and felt a nonexistent arrow hit is heart at the cuteness in front of him.

You thought he didn’t look like trouble but still wary and hesitant to do anything but at least you can use your bite if anything should happen.

He noticed the little nubs for horns and sheep ears on the sides along with two puffy braids going down from the sides of your face and in front of your ears, you also had big puffy (white/brown) hair being held by a single red ribbon.

He decided to bring you to his husband to show how adorable and cute you’re and that he had found you all alone so it’s not considered kidnapping, he also wanted to convince him of adopting you.

When tang brought you to the noodle shop his husband that he owns and had explained how he had found you all alone.

The pig demon known as pigsy scolded his husband and offered some of his famous noodles as compensation and fee of charge as he knew you wouldn’t have enough money on you for it unless your caretakers is with you.

They soon didn’t won’t to let you go to your caretaker and since neither them or anybody else understand you you just have to stay with them, forever…

But don’t worry you’ll have amazing friends who’ll protect, like mk, mei, sandy, and your new parents, all you have to do is stay with them!!

Shadowpeach:

You had appeared on a mountain after going into a cave that had crystals worrying Mary and having to scold you as you went further and further away.

You hadn’t noticed you had begun changing into a human as you started following a monkey Pokémon that you’ve never seen before.

As you chase after it not wanting to be alone anymore while calling out with the usual wooloo ‘baaa’s just in case Mary hears it and finds you.

You were picked up at some point in the chase after the companion you wanted as you didn’t want to be alone. You thrash around while letting out distress ‘baaa’s before deciding to use your only option that you could think of.

By biting the culprits as it was close to you to be in biting range.

Sadly since you’re a wooloo and they’re herbivores your teeth aren’t that sharp enough to break loose as it only made the culprit flinch.

Soon after you felt a weight lifting and going back down in a stroking pattern.

You can very well hear the cooing from the culprit making you start to naw on their arm though you came to soon realize that there’s hair on the arm so you let out a ‘baaa’ in disapproval.

The next thing you knew is that you’re in a house sitting on the lap of the one who kidnapped you.

You notice the culprit has a male voice to them as they started hugging you and saying how soft, cuddly and adorable you are and that this ‘macaque’ would love you as much as he does, whoever these two is.

When you finally met this macaque it was when you you used headbutt on the who captured you who soon told you his name but that you may also call him dad.

Macaque saw the weirdest sight ever but got over it quickly as he knows it’s just sun’s natural weirdness that mk as well.

What he saw was a child with nub like horns head first going to his mate in a attempt to headbutt sun, and he was accepting it!! Sun hugged you as soon as you got close and rocked you in his arms with you grumblingly went with it.

They decided to adopt you as they figured you’re abandoned; which you ‘baaa’ed in anger for not accepting it at all, and even if you weren’t you’re already theirs now, the caretaker shouldn’t have left you out of their sites but how fortunate for them that sun and macaque will be taking care of the child now and forever.

And with how little you’re and how caring they are to you, you start to love them as your parents like they wanted.

It was all part of the plan; macaque had stole a serum to make you start to forget about your caretaker and have to rely on them to parent you more.

But don’t worry macaque and his mate will cherish you forever no matter how many people they have to kill even mk is starting to pick up a few things from the to make sure you’re safe.

Sandy:

You had followed a cat Pokémon when you lost Mary, or at least you thought it was a cat Pokémon as it seems to have blue fur and orange Mohawk like hair on his head.

Your now surrounded by many cats with you trying to pet them all and them wanting a turn even if they had already went.

When sandy can back to ship/home he wasn’t expecting to see a little girl who had long fluffy hair tied in a red ribbon and noticing the nubs of horns along with the sheep ears to match; he worries that something tragic had happened.

He tried to see if you know what happened but all he gets is cute little ‘baaa’s but it can work with it as he explained that you could tell him by drawing.

When you were finished and help him understand the situation of what happened and now understand that you can’t get home as it’s not from here but a different world entirely.

So he decided to take care of you, you were of course hesitant about it as it would feel like you were replacing your trainer Mary.

And as a stress reliever, he had given you tea that he especially made for the stress of any kind and you can even pet the cats some more to help!

The tea is a special blend of herbs that would make you sleepy and groggy but relaxed as well so you soon never thought of your past trainer and started thinking sandy as your new caretaker.

When you spend time together it’s usually sandy brunch and styling your hair in styles that you had found in a magazine while you pet the cat relaxed as ever.

He makes sure to be as careful with you as he is with his cats even if you’re bigger than them you’re still fragile and precious to him, I mean look how small you are compared to him!!

As long as you’re with him you’ll be safe and sound plus have a healthy diet, so please stay with him….

(A/n: ok! So something happened when I posted this, I had thought I clicked saved then post but I didn’t which deleted a lot of the work I had already done, so I had lost dbk family, mei’s and some of Sandy’s last bit so I’m going to make a part two so I can make it as if I would edit this post and try to edit the missing thing that had been deleted plus new bits I would feel sad and unmotivated to do it, but thankfully @monkeyking-and-liuer-mate gave me the advise to make a part two so I don’t feel overwhelmed so to @monkeyking-and-liuer-mate thank you so much this helps as I didn’t want to have to not do all of your characters you had)

-While his family never compared him to Leon like as in a 'why can't you be more like him?' way, he still learned to compare himself to Leon a lot after his family would constantly praise Leon but leave him out of it

Lepom: The Ebotti region

Welcome to the Ebotti region, a calm region south of Mount Ebott and its vast mountain range. This is the region Sans and Papyrus call their home! The region is filled with lush forests, colorful grasslands and glittering streams of water originating from the mountains. The villages and towns littering the land are full of culture and history and are composed of friendly, close-knit communities. The most well-known towns are Home-Village and New Home City, as the oldest and busiest towns respectively.   Besides their hilarious names, the two towns are quite different: Home is located near the base of the mountain and is a bustling town when celebrations are held, but any other day it's just peaceful and quaint. It's not very big, but its location is connected to the region's history and the people living there know that quite well. It has a path that leads to the side of the mountains, where the caved-in caverns and mine can be found. It also has a museum which explains the history of the region to tourists and kids on school trips. This is where the fossils, crystals and antiques found by explorers of the Ebott caves are displayed. 

   New Home, on the other hand, is a lot bigger with more utilities and shops and is far more popular with the youth and other newcomers to the area. It's still not a huge high-tech city with flashing lights and neon signs, but it certainly stretches wide, and it does have buildings with more than 3 floors! It has a reputation of having both a large amount and a large variety of markets, like the weekly fresh product markets, the bi-weekly clothing market, the monthly crystal sales, the-     uh, yeah, all of them.   All of these products are provided by the neighboring towns and villages, as a way to share all the nice things this area has to offer with visitors and locals alike! This is also one of the few places that actually has a pokémon stadium that’s somewhat well known, as there isn't much of a trainer challenge in the area for those who wish to become strong. Beauty contests are far more beloved here, and people will come from all over for the seasonal and thematic variations! Although you can follow them on TV no problem :)

   Finally, moving between towns is relatively safe, if only for the fact that there's always someone willing to lend you a hand on your travels. The main routes don't hold very impressive pokémon, and the pokémon there are pretty used to humans. The nature routes and wild areas are more interesting though: lazy rivers, sandy lake beds and decaying ruins of old buildings are shielded from view by dense broad-leaf forests and the multicolored grasslands and small farms along the path. Locals know how to find them though, and as long as people are respectful they are allowed to visit these places to catch a new friend, do some research, or do some non-intrusive recreation like a small picnic. Beware though, that some pokémon might expect some of that sweet lunch you brought!

Pokémon found in the area:

Since this is a piece about the entire region, I’ll only do a brief overview of what you can expect to see if you move through the area + some honorable mentions. So not a complete list!    (this list is mostly for me to use when I start writing about the region but here it is anyway :3)

Again, the pokémon found in this area seem like common species you’ll find in many regions. If you know where to look you can find some unexpected or ‘more interesting’ ones though! 

On farmlands, you may find Wooloo, Tailow, and Mareep,

At night, you may find Drifloon, Pumpkaboo, and maybe Zorua,

In and near towns, you may find common dog, bird or cat pokémon like Yamper,  Pidove or Skitty. (the dog and cat pokémon are rarely wild though!)

Some common woodland pokémon are Stantler, Hoothoot, Zigzagoon and Deerling,

Some common meadow pokémon are Vevillion, Cutiefly, Buneary and Cottonee,

Some common waterside pokémon are Wooper, Magicarp, and Mudkip.

Honorable mentions: the Slowbros at the waterside who Sans hangs out with, the Scorbunny and its trainer who Papyrus plays ball games with, and the well hidden Eevee families across the region.

May I request a platonic Hop x reader where the reader comforts him after losing to and being insulted by Bede?

When Hop ran off to challenge Bede in the Wilds Area after the latter insulted you both, you thought he could handle that snobby psychic-type user easily.

For you, taking down his team was like a walk in the park. None of his Pokémon stood a chance against you! So you didn't think there was anything to worry about as you continued onto Hammerlocke, wanting to get your hard-earned badges verified.

Along the way, you've battled some of the stronger wild Pokémon, rounding up a few to add to your team for the next gym challenges. Of course there were a few who were a bit too strong for you to capture at the moment, so you moved on quickly so you didn't get hurt.

But after getting approved by the agent, you were just about to climb the steps when Bede approached...with Hop nowhere to be found.

Much to your dismay, your best friend was defeated in their battle, and he just rubbed his victory in your face, convinced that Hop will withdraw from the challenge for sure. Apparently a few visitors have captured footage of their fight...which must've been a blow to the latter's self-esteem for sure.

Your blood was boiling, especially when Bede mocked Wooloo, claiming it's only a matter of time before it was abandoned.

Sure, he might've been endorsed by the chairman himself..but that's no excuse for his attitude and poor sportsmanship! He had no right talking to another human being like that!

You would've fought him right there and then...but decided not to give into anger as he smugly moved onto Hammerlocke. Instead, you opted to search for Hop, texting him several times to see if he was okay.

Unfortunately, there was no response from him, which was worrying. Although you've both grown in strength since first coming here, the Wild Area was still quite dangerous if he winded up in the wrong place.

After some backtracking, you finally found him trying to take on a very strong-looking Steelix, sending his Wooloo against the iron beast. But despite the obvious disadvantages of a normal type against steel, he kept pushing it to fight back.

Its attacks barely made it flinch.

Steelix chuffed at your friend's attempts to battle it, as though it pitied the little sheep for being forced to fight, before it summoned a sandstorm that blinded the two.

When Wooloo's attack missed because of the weather change, it bared a merciless smile and prepared an Iron Tail attack-

When all of the sudden a plush Clefairy doll was tossed into its field of vision, momentarily distracting it.

Through the blinding sand, Hop realized it was you who intervened, but before he could say anything, you rushed into the storm to grab his wrist.

"C'mon! It's too strong for either of us!!" You didn't wait for his response as you quickly yanked him out of the fight.

You knew he was reckless like his brother...but not to this degree. There's no way he'd act like this under normal circumstances.

Together you ran from the Steelix as the sandstorm subsided, and it growled as it noticed Wooloo fleeing as well, before returning underground.

Once you were both in one of the calmer areas, you let go of Hop's wrist, turning to frown at him. "What were you thinking?!" You huffed. "You're lucky I had a Poké Doll or else-!!"

However, your annoyance was quick to evaporate when you saw the tears welling up in his golden eyes.

Only then did you feel your heart sink with guilt.

"...s-sorry, I was just..trying to get stronger." He was struggling to keep himself together. But it was failing as he slumped against one of the trees, sliding down and covering his face with his hands. "P-Please don't tell Leon.."

He never wanted to be seen like this, especially not by his rival and best friend. Yet here you were, saving him and somehow knowing exactly what to do...while all he knew how to do was get hurt.

"No, I'm sorry for yelling, Hop. I promise I won't tell him." Kneeling down, you sighed softly, watching Wooloo attempt to comfort its trainer. "Listen..whatever Bede said isn't worth your tears. He just thinks he's better than everyone else."

"I-I know, but...it still hurt." He peeked at you through his fingers, sniffling. "The things he said to me...a-and Wooloo...they just stung, mate. And ya know what else? He....he thinks the gym leaders only gave me their badges out of pity."

"...what?! I'm gonna-!!!" You grew livid, but soon calmed down as you remembered getting angry would only make him feel worse. "I-I mean..that's stupid. You won those fair and square because it shows how strong you've grown."

"...you think so?"

"I know so." With a small smile on your face, you gently petted Wooloo. "And Wooloo does, too. Soon enough, he'll regret saying those awful things. We'll show him. Right?"

"Baaa!!" The little sheep nodded in agreement.

Hop just sat there in silence, wiping his tears away as doubt continued to fog up his mind. But when you opened your arms up to him, he accepted your hug, holding onto you tightly.

He never meant to become this depressed so early in the journey; he knew he'd be facing tough losses and not-so-polite trainers.

Though Bede's words just dug into him like a Cacturne's thorn..and he wondered if some of them were true.

But to know you didn't leave him behind was relieving, despite his worries about holding you back from getting all the gym badges. Nevertheless...he's grateful you looked for him and had his back no matter what.

"Next time, I'll have one of my ghost Pokémon hit him with a Max Phantasm." You lightly threatened.

That managed to get Hop to laugh a little, as you felt him relax in your arms. "...yeah, that oughta show him." Then he sighed, eventually letting go after a few moments longer. "I'm sorry again, [y/n]...and Wooloo..for pushing you into that fight."

The sheep nodded in understanding, returning to its pokeball at his request.

"I think..I'll focus on training my Pokémon and rearrange my team before I tackle the next gym." He leaned against the tree, eyes lingering on the pokeball with guilt. "If I'm ever gonna surpass Leon..I-I need to take my time. Form bonds..develop strategies...that's how he got to where he is today."

Then he looked to you, smiling tiredly. "Of course, you probably don't have to worry about all of that, [y/n]. You should really head onto Hammer-"

"Nah, I think..we should set up a camp here and just chill out for a little while." You suggested, standing up and offering your hand to him. "I'll cook up some delicious curry for our Pokémon. I found a killer recipe my team is addicted to."

"That sounds good, but...are you sure about-?"

"Yes."

"....alright! No need to tell me twice, mate!" That familiar sparkle in his eye returned as he grasped your hand, practically jumping to his feet as you helped him up. "That reminds me...I'm short on berries so...I'm gonna go shake that tree over there!"

Before you could see which tree he was pointing to, he took off into the tall grass that surrounded it, having his energy back. All you could do was chase after him, knowing he's gonna trip over a wild Pokémon or two.

"Hop, wait!! I have repels!!"

First Date!

Pairing: Hop x GN Reader! (Request!)

Notes: Hii anon, I accidentally deleted your ask, I’m so sorry! But I hope you enjoy this drabble! I hope the work isn’t too bad, I haven’t written anything proper in a while :cc and I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to write some short hcs or a little drabble, so I did both! I’m working on a Poképlushies for the Galar rivals :DD tysm for sending me a request, and I hope you enjoy!

Hop is quite a nervous boy, but he’s a gentleman, and he can be a romantic if he tries c:

For a first date, he’d put a lot of thought into it!

He’d ask Leon and Sonia for advice and think of a while before he finally thinks of the perfect first date!

He decides to take you on an evening stroll around Wedgehurst!

It looks best when the sun sets, and Wegdehurst itself is pretty much quiet in the first place.

The wooloo are all settling down to rest by that time!

He’s thought about making this first date perfect, he hopes you’ll love it!

Hop hastily knocks at your door, hands trembling with anticipation. He’s been waiting for this day for a while now. He’d been working and planning earnestly to make sure this date went just right, and today would be the day all his efforts would bear fruit! He’d gotten advice from both Leon and Sonia, to which the two had answered any questions and lessened his worries. Now it was time for him to put it into action, and he was sure nothing would go wrong. He hears the rapid sounds of footsteps before the door opens, and out you come!

“Hop, is that you? Hello!”

Hop feels as skittish as a baby wooloo trying to walk for the first time the moment he sees you. Even when the two of you were just friends, you’ve always had the ability to take his breath away, and even as your boyfriend, it still works like a charm.

“Hey s/o! You look brilliant!” Hop stutters.

You quickly notice that he’s not in his normal attire today. He’s still dressed casually, but there’s a sort of class in what he’s wearing that enchants you, and the longer you look at him, the quicker you feel your cheeks growing warm.

“Shall we go now?” He asks, holding his hand out to you. You hurriedly take it in yours, hopping down the steps of your front porch to start walking with him. And when you do, you feel millions of tiny little butterflies swirl and dance inside your stomach.

The two of you walk through Wedgehurst’s fields, the sunset casting a glorious lighting over the both of you, and you can’t help but be astonished. You nudge your boyfriend slightly, your gaze still fixated on the sky.

“Hey, isn’t the sunset beautiful?”

Hop’s view is on you, yet he still answers with that energetic “Yes!” that you’re used to hearing on many different occasions.

The two of you stay there for a while before trailing down the path. As time goes by, Hop is able to feel more relaxed. He was able to talk to you easier, look you in the eyes without forgetting how to function, and it became a lot less awkward, with less silence in between sentences.

His time with you blurs, and before you know it the sky is completely dark, and you’re back where you began, just outside your house.

“Y’know, this date with you has been amazing Hop- you’ve been amazing,” you start. “I really hope we get to go out again like this soon,”

“Me too,” Hop replies. “You’re the sweetest person I know and I’m so glad that we’re together. I’m really happy that I got to spend that time with you, and that I get to be with you!”

“Please do take me out again soon, Hop. I’ll be glad to go anywhere with you! I’ll see you around,” You say, starting to head in. You turn around though, hurrying down the stairs once again, this time delivering a soft and gentle peck to the boy’s cheek. You grin, before daring back in your home, leaving Hop starstruck, touching his cheek.

That night, he goes to sleep with the biggest grin on his face, mind filled with sugar-sweet dreams of you and him.

Milo x Kabu x Fem! Shiny Delphox Reader Part 1

So I just wanted to write a little something for Kabu and Milo. I also really like the Pokémon hybrid stories I have been reading.

Hybrids were common in Galar, but a shiny hybrid was a rare sight to see. Milo was the first to see you and called up Kabu since he doesn't know much about fire pokemon. Kabu went to Milo's farm to see what he could do about the situation.

"Good morning, Milo. What seems to be the problem?"

He asked in a serious tone

"Good morning, Kabu. Well, you see I found a hybrid just wandering around my farm and it seemed to be a fire-type Pokémon. I can't be so sure though because it's a shiny hybrid."

"Oh, I see. Take me to them please."

The two men went around to the field where they see you sitting in the grass petting a Wooloo. They come up to you trying not to spook you.

"I know you are there and do not worry I did not harm any of your Pokémon."

"Oh and thank you. My name is Milo and this is Kabu."

You stand up and dust off the clothes you found while traveling. You turn to face them, but you were looking down.

"I am Y/N. If you want me to leave I will. I did not mean to disturb you and your Pokémon. They are very cute though."

The sun hit your purplish fur and Kabu thought you were beautiful.

"Are you a hybrid?"

Kabu asked gently

You shyly nod

"Are you going to hurt me?"

"Why would we hurt you?"

Milo questioned

"Because I am a monster."

"You are not a monster. You are beautiful, Y/N"

"Thank you. I do not know where I am. The last thing I remember is being put into a box."

Kabu and Milo share a knowing look. You were shipped here to be someone's pet.

"You are in Galar. Are you hungry?"

You nod and they take you inside. Milo makes you some food while Kabu goes out to buy you some clothing. He didn't know what to buy you, so he just ended up buying you some dresses, long-sleeved shirts, and skirts. Some were red and others were green to match Milo and himself. Once he returned to Milo's home and opened the door he saw you sleeping on the couch. He smiled at how cute you looked. He set the clothes he bought next to you.

"Honeybun, I am going to head back home. I have some challengers tomorrow and I want to make sure that I am well-rested. I left some clothes next to Y/N."

Kabu called out to his lover.

"Alright, Babe. Also, what Pokémon is she?"

Milo responded

"Oh right. She's a Delphox. She's a fire type alright."

With that said Kabu headed home.

Kabu and Milo took turns watching over you. Some days you will stay at Milo's and you would help with the farm. On other days you stay with Kabu and you will work out with him. Or at least you try to because he goes so fast.

~5 months later~

You were at Milo's place and were worried about something. You were watching him take care of the wooloo's and didn't notice that Milo noticed you watching him. He walked up to you.

"Starshine, what's wrong? Are you alright?"

You jumped at the sound of his voice.

"Oh. I am alright. Just worried about Kabu."

"Why's that?"

He asks as he sits next to you. You lean your head against his arm which caused your big ears to tickle him a little bit.

"I feel like he is overworking himself and might get overwhelmed."

Milo puts his arm around you in order to try to comfort you.

"Well, he takes being a gym leader very seriously, Star Shine. Have you talked to him about your worries?"

"Not yet. I do not know how to approach the subject."

"Why don't we go over to see Kabu after I finish my farm work?"

"Yes please, Milo."

You two went to Kabu's house after Milo was finished with the farm work. You knock on the door. No answer. Milo rings the bell. Still no answer.

Most of my ramblings are pretty much just character headcanons/interactions, but at times i like to focus on world-building/larger theories, and I'd love to connect with other people with those interests in my fandoms (especially Pokémon SWSH and SV!!)

Also, if anybody ever wants to toss me some writing requests, feel free! Just know I make no guarantee of speed. (If you want to see my writing, here's my AO3!)

A few things to note about me:

This should generally be a SFW blog! Please keep any asks/requests or the like SFW, but as long as you're respectful, anybody can interact.

I post a lot about ships I like! More below the cut. I try to tag 'em.

Hop (Pokémon SW/SH): I could rant about this boy for days and still not have said enough about how much I love him as a rival and character. He is the best thing to come of out SW/SH. And besides, we love Wooloo enjoyers.

Nemona (Pokémon S/V): She has so much passion and energy for battling!!! She genuinely just wants to connect with someone even though she's so misunderstood!!! Also, she can't handle exercise. I feel you, girl.

Hanamaru Kunikida (Love Live! Sunshine!!): I'm not much of a Love Live fan anymore, but I still love Hanamaru so so much. She is sunshine and light and sweetness and a bookworm and she gets so much joy out of enjoying food and spending time with her friends. A comfort character of mine.

Noelle Holiday (Deltarune): She's such a nervous little dork who's actually just a freak (affectionate), and honestly that is peak young lesbian representation.

Kris Dreemurr, Ralsei, Susie (Deltarune): Please ask me to rant about them individually. I love all of their writing.

Pearl Houzuki (Splatoon): I live for her gremlin energy. Yes, even the eating mayo straight from the bottle. I also admire the fact she managed to pull Marina.

Marina Ida (Splatoon): They really did make the coolest, prettiest hacker girl who loves anime and manga and said "make her fall in love with the scrungliest little squid".

Ashe Ubert (FE3H): He's just a little guy!!! A little fella!!! Love his voice acting, his love for books, cooking, and honor, and his tragic backstory. Poor boy.

Ibuki Mioda (SDR2): Is Danganronpa a great series. No. Did Danganronpa give us the most beautifully chaotic lesbian I have ever seen and then cruelly rip her from my hands far too soon. Yes.

Trucy Wright (Ace Attorney): Please, Capcom, please remember she exists, I am begging you. Yes she's another "teenage assistant putting on a brave face so she can help solve the mysteries". But I love her magic tricks and her interactions with Phoenix and Apollo, so here she is.

Apollo Justice (Ace Attorney): Please stop giving him backstories.

Personal ships!

Mostly in the "I like the dynamics" sense, rather than the "I think these two would be perfectly well-adjusted together" sense. Ships with minors in them are purely fluff.

Hop/Gloria/Marnie (Pokémon SW/SH): Hop/Gloria is my main focus, just because I think their high energy (in my headcanons, anyways) play off of each other really well. I also like Gloria/Marnie for sunshine/serious. I also like Hop/Victor. I think about the Sw/Sh characters a lot.

Nemona/Juliana (Pokémon S/V): After 君と雨上がりを and Biri-Biri, they're canon. But also, you can't just ask someone to be your best rival like that!!!

Pearlina (Splatoon): They were literally built for each other. They are perfect. I will pull out a thesis on the Octo Expansion and Splatfest dialogue. Do not make me do that.

Caspashe (FE3H): Three words. Gay cat dads. (I also like Casphardt.)

Edeleth (FE3H): Yes, I'm basic. Speaking of basic:

Wrightworth/Narumitsu (AA): Like I said. Basic.

Klapollo (AA): I just find 'overly flirty guy and straight-faced serious guy who believes not a word of it' such a fun dynamic.

Suselle (DR): May I please point you to the ferris wheel scene as a whole.

Alphyne (UT/DR): Just a classic. They're cute and complement each other really well.

Komahina (SDR2): In the sense that "I think if you leave them in a room for enough time the room will literally explode". They're fun because they're so terrible. And on very, very rare occasions, fool you into thinking they're not.

Archery! I got to try out kyudo in Japan. Best thing I ever did.
