"Shut up, shut the FUCK up!!" He screamed as everyone froze in shock.

"I don't care about his 'sacrifice' because he's a hero! I care about it because he was my best friend!! He was sixteen, for fucks sake! He shouldn't have died! The only reason he did was because fuckers like YOU taught him that that was the only thing worth living for!"

"I know you're upset, but-"

"But what?! You couldn't possibly understand! You get to live to old age! You get to watch your baby boy grow up happy and healthy and loved while we die off day by day because the Gods can only see their own kids as a sacrifice!"

"Is that what you think?"

"What he thinks?" Hazel asked.

"Hedge, he's right." Annabeth continued.

"We all miss Jason." Frank added. "But we shouldn't have to miss him as a hero."

The Satyr looked around the room at all of the Demigods staring at him, eyes full of pain and heartbreak, some filled with tears. He cleared his throat.

"Al... right then."
