sorry if u already answered this question, but how do you scan your art? like via phone or a printer or smth else? It looks so good!🙏

I usually scan with a flatbed scanner in 400dpi, as I found it gave me the nicest quality without being too large, but 300dpi is also fine.

The secret to getting good scan quality is Know Thy Printer. Every scanner has its unique traits you want to compensate for, be it low contrast, over saturating, or washing out colours. My great art hack is adjusting for this post scan! I found duplicating and multiplying the layer (fading opacity based on need) helped fix a *lot* of issues with the ink scanning ‘washed out’.

Higher contrast to sharpen edges! #Lots of free programs can do that too!

Hiya, I wanted to share a kinda weird story and ask a question. Just wanted to say you’re a very talented storyteller and I’ve been thinking of your work a lot. I ended up having a dream about time & time again last night where Steve tries to steal the American flag for a bunch of children. It was a pretty angsty dream but I still found it kinda funny because it seems on brand for Steve lol. Also, for those who can’t afford to buy the books on kickstarter, will there be other options to help fund? If the kickstarter succeeds will you list the books on your website or are they one and done? I hope you’re having a lovely day!

I love how the way you've approached this makes me unable to ignore the first part to be able to answer the second.

To start with the questions though, I'll be making a PDF people can get to help support (that will be included in all tiers)! It should be a fun item for any fan of the series... You'll also be able to get just one book instead of all 4 from season 1. I'm trying to plan some other things, but it's all still very much in development so I'm wary of committing too openly to it!

And I am planning to have the Kickstarter goal fund extra copies for me to put on my site and take to conventions, yes! So if someone can't support when it comes out, if it funds then they can order the books later, or find me at a convention with some copies!

I'm planning to be incredibly up front about the costs and processes by which I came to all my decisions, because I've made quite a few strange choices but I assure you they're all just in service of getting books out as soon as (and as fun as) possible!

And for the first bit, it's incredibly flattering to hear that you think about my work... And to the extent that it's invaded your subconscious! Wow! What are your favorite moments that happen between them? 

This might be too general of an answer, but I like when Rowan and Urianger reach out to the other in vulnerability and then are safely accepted within it. When Rowan says she's afraid and Urianger says it's fair to be, or when Urianger says he's not worthy of her love but Rowan loves him anyways. Stuff like that.

Dog Training Book Recs?

Nova has shown so much progress that I feel I’m at a point where I can really hone our training and focus on some more solid obedience work. With him being a lot happier and much more stable with his resource guarding managed, I’m really interested in taking the next step into his training. Problem is, we can’t use treats as a reward. Our reward is a lot of play, but it’s not ball/frisbee/toy focused, it’s…fake kicking air, it’s asking him to go around a tree and then fake kicking air. A high five has been used as a low value reward. It’s not the typical use of play and so sometimes my timing is really, really off, or I don’t have the opportunity to reward him as much as i’d like to bc I can’t just let him run as he’d like. And I can’t imagine a book would really help us in that regard, but perhaps would explain some concepts and tricks that could help me adapt to Nova as best as possible to get to where I want?

If anyone has any ideas/recs, I’m all ears!

(cut content anon, hi) in response to your question: i've never thought about how the hunter would feel about anything before lmao, but you ask about drama i bring drama. imagine a TYPICALLY cold and impersonal "no emotions but the hunt" hunter who's usually very concerned with efficiency seeing all of micolash's bullshit, having it get to them for once and just. throwing all their learned techniques out the window and brutally fucking him up. but then afterwards they're like "wait what the fuck- that was a person, even if he was horribly cruel that was still a fucking person, what am i doing" and spend however long marinating in the conflicting feelings of "holy shit i just fucking wrecked that guy" and "yeah but it was fun+he deserved it tho lol." like, they've killed people before ofc, but this is the first time they've a) lost their focus during a kill (especially one as easy as micolash that should've been very quick and simple) and b) gone out of their way to make a human (or anything, for that matter) suffer, and it makes them very very nervous. not because they feel guilty, he for sure DID deserve it and they will cherish the memory of beating his ass forever, but because they've seen what can happen to hunters who become too bloodthirsty.....anyways lmao, what do you think?

Micolash is the one human character paleblood hunter fights that feels not like self-defence, nor there is a clear enough message of 'you should kill them to pass this area' (it is only clear for the player, not for the character). Like... They just find the weird man that might have done All That Shit, go like 'YOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!' and then chase him and kill him. Your idea that instead of killing quickly and precisely they'd go completely rabid on the guy is like... not a bad one? You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

If you disrobe in the bathroom, place a tall hamper in there.

They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this.
