New Pokemon games tomorrow, so here are all the pokemon cosplays I've done so far.

Started with Ruby and Sapphire back in 2014.

From there I made my award winning Mega Charizard X gijinka, Mimikyu, Espeon, Mallow, Umbreon, and most recently Sunflora.

I have so many more pokemon cosplays on my list. If Harley Quinn is my most cosplayed character, pokemon is my most cosplayed franchise.

Costume Description: This is my interpretation of Sunset Dragon’s Lightfury design.

Personal Bio: Cosplay is an artform that I love and cherish, I love the moment of inspiration when a new costume idea comes my way. I have been sewing for so many years and enjoy the fun challenges that cosplay brings to me. Each project brings it’s own triumphs and challenges, and I am so excited to share my art with whomever I am able.

My Lightfury Journey: The first moment I saw this Sunset Dragon design, I was enthralled. I loved the idea of this beautiful creature being captured in such an interesting way. When I started planning out my interpretation of this design, I decided that I wanted a little bit more color and flow in how this was constructed. I thought about the traditional western dragon designs and loved the idea of giving her a scaled stomach, to give a contrasting color as well as an extra layer of shine. I decided to add flow to the skirt, shirt, and hood in my fabric choices, and added rhinestones EVERYWHERE! I found a lovely pink wig to go with this design, but it just didn’t have enough dimension for my use, I added wefts of white hair throughout to give the hair the look of highlights. My version of this design is in seduction mode, she hasn’t snagged her Toothless yet, but it’s only a matter of time

Fabric choices for pinky pies skirt. All poly chiffon. Yellow was bought as it. Pink bought and ended up being a little too bright so I'm layering a light pink in front. Blue was white that I dyed with rit dye. It actually ended up being too bright, so I put it in a bleach bath and got it down to the correct color. The skirt will have 2 panels of each blue and yellow. And 4 panels of the pink. And each panel will be double layered with the fabric. Overall it will be semi sheet and I want to wear sparkly and rhinestones light pink tights that will show through when I walk. Time for a gear change. I've been sitting on toothless for a couple months now, mostly because I was really struggling with the bodice. I didn't like the way it fit and it was a real mental block. I finally went back to the drawing board, and decided to start from scratch and use a cheap one-piece bathing suit as a base.

I also changed the neckline, since V-necks tend to be more flattering on me. But it's now back to the scales again!
