I actually opted for a dark gray wool instead of black this time and airbrushed in the shadows during weathering to create more visual depth than you typically can get with black fabric.
The feathers in the cape are a mix of strips of painted black gauze with some added real feathers for visual interest. I'd be down to make a tutorial for the gauze feathers if that was something people were interested in!

cos委托, aka cosplay commissions, are quite popular in China—girls will pay cosplayers, usually other girls (for safety reasons and likely because more girls tend to cosplay otome game characters) to go out with them for a day as their favourite characters. this can involve theme parks, dates or even bridal shoots
Flashback Friday to a Suki commission I did! Layers of soft ombre chiffon, faux leather, hand affixed crystals, metallic golds! This was based on artwork by Hannah Alexander, I'm working on a few more commissions based on their art atm!
Male Viera starter set shoe armor raw print! Had to reprint these bc I couldn't get the supports off the versions I printed on my old printer D: But the reprints look gorgeous! (except for the mid quality gray filament... Trying to use it up to avoid waste but it's unfortunately not as smooth as the black and will need a bit more work to polish up). These files are by isomoART, who also has print files for lots of other FFXIV stuff! :3
More Bloodborne! Choir set made by me for a friend, I actually have one of my own about half finished that I should really work more on one of these days.
The visor part of the blindfold cap has full visibility, the base structure is a lightweight millinery material called sinamay with millinery wire around the edge, covered in a black lace fabric with a light dusting of metallic paint. The top part of the hat is a normal wool felt capeline.

New commission: Prince Ariel! I designed & made this Prince version of Ariel's pink gown for a customer to wear to Tokyo Disney! Her gold voice seashell is on the belt, and there are shells, starfish, and Tritons trident on the cape band. He's going to be so beautiful!
The art for blackbonnet is nice, but the skin color for Ed is off, just letting you know!
I appreciate you and what you’re saying but the art was based on the cosplayer who commissioned it of themselves in cosplay and with their partner. I did leave a link to their Instagram which has a photo of the cosplay this is based on, but for simplicity’s sake I will add the photo here.
They’ve recently updated their cosplay and proposed to their partner at ECCC this past weekend. ;u; They are both very lovely and kind people and I wish them all the best
