Cig, a very important question for you. I’ve noticed the dining room chairs in the loft are wicker (at least the backs are). Now, I know we all like to write about (and draw etc.) Tarlos sitting in each other’s laps. But. Do we think they have ever damaged these chairs? I feel like wicker is easily damaged especially if putting undue weight on it (two grown men).

What is your opinion on this matter? What do we think Carlos would say to the furniture repair person?

They have definitely frontwards and backwards cow-girled in these chairs. There is no doubt in my mind.

The first time they did it, the integrity of the chair held true. The second time, the chair collapsed into splinters and it was like lying in a bed of straw. Carlos was very upset and TK had to bite down on his lip to stop himself from laughing. Luckily, Carlos looked at the website of the furniture place and found the same chair heavily discounted, so it was replaced. Carlos says they can't have sex on the chairs anymore, which TK largely respects, but sometimes he likes to sit on the chairs naked and wait for a busy Carlos to notice.

Question from a curious mind (one that should definitely be asleep right now). Which part of drawing a comic is most challenging for you?

For fictional comics in the storyboard style, the writing part is definitely the hardest for me. Specifically, figuring out what to write about like coming up with a story and plot. I feel like I can usually work out good dialogue vs. not-so-good dialogue, but figuring out what is going to happen is so so hard.

However, if it’s a comic that’s more abstract and reflective, then planning how it’s going to look is most difficult because oh my god do you have to make so many choices. For instance in my lamppost comic I decided that using a regular font for the the text looked too mechanical so I found an informal font I liked and then traced over all the text by hand to make it just slightly more irregular because I’m insane and also hate myself apparently. and you have to make hundreds of tiny choices like that in a single comic ahhhh

Hi Anon! I've been toying with the idea of taking requests for some time now. I'm most certainly willing to listen to any ideas or requests that you might have, but I can't always guarantee I can write them. There are certain things (themes and topics) I don't write about, but I haven't made a comprehensive list of those yet. Also, my ideas are often just based on one scene, a word, or a song that's sparked my interest, so I'm not sure what that writing process will be like. But I'll never know unless I try! You're definitely right! I've actually talked in passing with Steve stans, about this, and they tell me that "he developed in season 2", or funnily enough, most either don't recall season 1, they ignore it, or they haven't even watched it.

Which baffles my mind. They openly admit this, and then they proceed to talk shit about Billy.

This show is very clear about who it wants you to root for. Full offense, I could care less about the Wheelers.

Poor writing, and to get away with it for so long, is a crime.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but Steve never fully developed. He never apologized to Jonathan or Nancy. Sure, there was the bathroom scene with Robin. But Robin was a new character. Jonathan and Nancy were in season 1 with Steve. That's on the writers. I'll add it to the tab.

Billy actually apologized, and he was literally fucking dying. Honestly, though, I think it's odd that he's the only one getting shit on, that he should apologize and all that... but he's one of the only characters who actually apologized! He would've apologized to others if he had fucking survived.

Antis go from "he needs to be held accountable" to "I'm glad he's dead". Uh... how can he be held accountable for anything if he's dead?

Lmao and it's always the same person going from point A to point so far reaching you'll break an arm.

Billy didn't use a single fucking slur. Man, fuck this fandom (except for my harringrove, mungrove, harringroveson, and billy community, I love you so much).

As an aside, in my opinion, he had the least to apologize for out of all the characters (it says a lot that he did apologize). I said what I said.

The way I can describe splitting in my case, is suddenly seeing a person that I adore as "bad", going from love to hate. It has to do with the BPD black-and-white mentality and the intense mood swings. It also can be a person I kind of like and then I decide that now I hate them because of something really insignificant that triggered me (or something serious related to my trauma).

It may lead to an episode and I can get really emotional, angry, loud. I cry like there is no tomorrow and I can yell a lot. In the worst cases I have even thrown stuff around and slammed doors. I know there's also quiet splitting, so you kind of carry the storm inside. My storm usually manifests very physically and it's difficult to contain. Then I end up physically and mentally exhausted and people can easily end up getting tired of being around someone like me.

Things that can trigger it for me, as in this case, when people yell at me or raise their voice (due to my trauma), if I perceive that I'm being abandoned, If I feel unloved or like people I love don't care about me, if I feel interrogated about my trauma and people start to ask for details, situations that imply lack of consent, if I sense injustice towards me and particularly to others. There are probably more triggers that I don't remember now and maybe some I don't even know of yet.

Once the episode passes, I go back to loving the person as if nothing has happened.

As for my friend helping me escape this situation, we are actually planning something, so send all the good vibes, positive thoughts, prayers, whatever it my be. Thank you for caring!! 🙏🏼
