konig is your roommate
wc: 995 warnings: none just fluff, quick mentions of crying, fem reader (not much metions of female characteristics) a/n: oh lord my first contribution to the cod fandom after consuming brainrot on here and tiktok for the past couple of months :3 i can def do a pt 2 to this with smut but i just wanted to dip my toes in first and see if anybody even likes this lmao MINORS DNI (have your age in your bio or you're getting blocked)
How you ended up with a man in his mid 30s that’s retired from the military as a roommate is beyond you
You were a broke teacher living paycheck to paycheck and you needed to find a way to conserve costs
You posted a Craigslist posting (definitely not shady at all) looking for a roommate and he messaged you within the first hour of you posting to see if he could check the place out!
It was mildly jarring seeing a 6’10 man in a black surgical mask show up ringing your doorbell. You couldn’t even see above his chest when you looked through the peephole
He was so quiet when you first tried to spark up a conversation with him that you thought he hated your apartment and maybe even you…
Before he even finished his tour of the apartment he took out an envelope of cash from his pocket that had enough to cover the first three months of rent :0
He moved in all of his belongings the following week while texting you a few times leading up to his move in date just confirming what time he’ll be showing up and if you’re still okay with the agreement
He was equally dry over text as he was in person it was a hard obstacle to jump over to get him to open up with you
The first time he actually started a conversation with you was when he saw you diligently working in the living room on a lesson plan for the upcoming week
At first he just sat down on the couch silently from you just watching you and this didn’t bother you as you’ve come to learn that he is more of an observer than a talker
“Um…what are you working on?”
Your head shot up and a smile spread on your face this was the first time Konig has expressed any interest in your career
“I’m cutting out flashcards I made for the kids so they can match the words to the pictures! I just procrastinated a little bit so I’m doing it all now.” You chuckled and he hummed in acknowledgement
After that conversation the interactions over the months got a lot more comfortable
So here we are now (it’s been about 5 months) and you and Konig are having your weekly movie and pizza night
You let Konig pick the movie this week and you were quite surprised that he chose ‘Inside Out’
Seeing such a large man engrossed in such a cute animated movie made your cheeks hurt with how it made you smile
He was quite surprised when he turned around and saw tears running down your cheeks after watching the scene of Bing Bong die
His eyes widened and without thinking he scooped you up into a hug while you let out all the sad feelings from the characters sacrifice
“Gosh Konig I’m so sorry! That was really silly. I shouldn't be crying so hard over a kid’s movie.”
You looked up at him and your eyes met with his cerulean ones. They had such a tender look to them and it made you and the room feel a lot hotter than what you remember
With a haste Konig pulled down his mask and placed a chaste kiss on your cheek
Needless to say you guys just stared at each other like this: :000 for about a minute before either of you said anything
You were the first one to speak up
“Konig, that was the cutest thing you’ve ever done.”
He just blushed and broke the eye contact and coughed to try and clear his throat
“I, u-um I wanted to do that for a while actually.”
Hearing him say this made you giggle and to reciprocate the feelings  you’ve also been holding on to you placed a peck onto his forehead.
“I’ve wanted to do that for a while too so now we’re even! The ball’s in your court now Konig, do with that info what you will.”
You pranced off into your room and giggled while Konig was stuck on the couch just absolutely stunned as to what happened.
The next day you wake up and see a note that was slipped under your door. You open it up and it brings a warm smile to your face
‘Dinner at my place tonight! Wear something nice ;)’ You giggled knowing that Konig wasn’t the biggest fan of being in crowded places so a dinner at home was a perfect plan
You noticed Konig wasn’t home so you decided to go to the grocery store really quick and pick up two bottles of white wine for the night
Once you were back at the house you heard Konig was in the shower so you decided to go take a shower yourself and get yourself ready.
You decided to go the full nine yards and put on a red velvet mini dress and do your hair
When you stepped out you saw Konig already at the stove getting dinner ready. You snuck up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist
“Whatcha cookin’?” Your voice was muffled into his back and you felt the vibrations of his chuckle
“It's a surprise schatz so go sit in the living room till I’m done”
“What’s a schatz?” All he did was laugh at your response and usher you out the kitchen
You sat in the living room with a pout on your face until you heard Konig call your name to let you come back into the kitchen
Your mouth watered seeing the chicken parmesan dished out and two poured out glasses of wine
“Oh Konig, this is great!” You stood on your tippy toes to give him a kiss of gratefulness
“Careful Y/N if you keep kissing me like that we’ll never get to dinner…” The sound of his voice was deep and a bit gruff
“And is that really a problem?”

hello i just started on my kdrama train recently;
(other than the first drama this list is not in a particular order)
goblin (i mean??! masterpiece never ever will get over it, the finale will haunt my ass forever, it was my first time crying for 2 hours straight without a stop, no other drama will ever top it, i can definitely say that it will forever be my number 1)
it’s okay not to be okay (the female character is everythiiiing, the scenario is everythiiing, there are so many life lessons to take from it, such great connection between the actors, i loOooooved everything about it)
fight for my way : great chemistry between the actors, my heart melted everytime the male character did sth for her, it was such a fun drama to watch, didnt disappoint at all, i loved it a lot, highly recommend for the ones that like romcom
weightlifting fairy kim bok joo (one of the best couple dynamics, no wonder they dated in real life, such a heartwarming drama with a great plot, every scene was perfect and cozy, cutest duo. to add best romcom kdrama ive ever watched tbh will rewatch it thousand times more lol)
crash landing on you (no word needed amazing scenario amazing couple the fact that they are together in real life makes my heart full, the show was flawless from start to finish. it didnt give any unrealistic happy ending, it did its best with the finale props to the writer. my heart is still hurting for the second lead couple tho, i cried for like 3 to 4 hours because of them. You must watch it!!! did i say i am in love with this show’s every scene? because i am. gosh... )
penthouse war in life (this drama is my stress reliever you gonna ask hOW? well there wasnt an any episode that i didnt curse and yell my lungs out, give seokyoung seokhoon suryeon a happy ending already!!!)(finale season was shit didnt live up to expectations)
skycastle (i love chaos what can i say chaos combined with great acting is my cup of coffee)
true beauty: it was meh the scenario in my opinion was pretty lame, good actors yet things didnt add up good show to watch while eating sth lol, classic highschool drama
vincenzo: god!!! just god!!! it was so fucking good. ive never seen a kdrama quite like this, the dark humor the great narrating of characters the perfectly written script, amazing acting??!! it was one of the best dramas ive ever watched like I AM OBSSESSED i cant get over the fact that its finished 10000/10000 like idek how to explain it was more than a korean show it was freaking a emmy worthy show.
strong woman bong soo: it was cute. the male protagonist was just SO WHOLESOME. i loved all the cutesy scenes between the couple. buuut didnt like the storyline as much as i liked weightlifting fairy’s. there was sth missing in plot.
at distance spring is green: i really enjoyed it from start to finish like the only problem with this drama is it is too shoort. i wanted to watch more. i liked the script a lot and how realistic the perspective was on youth. I cried, i laughed, how everything wasnt fairytale like and how they finished it open ended is realy beautiful. also the bromance 😎
my roomate is a gumiho: okay to start off i watched it without getting bored. jang kiyong is so freaking handsome, it was a visual festival on that end. buuut the story lacked emotional depth for real. i couldnt connect with characters the whole “i love food” agenda was not enough to do that. throughout the show i found myself waiting for second lead couple’s scenes to appear, they were more interesting in every way. loved hyesun.
mermaid prince: well saw it on insta reels then got curious watched it its a mini show with eps only 12 mins, nothing to add really lol boring cliche
extraordinary you: OH MY GODDDDDDDD!!!!!! it was literally flawless from start to finish. the plot, the acting, the chemistry, the script everything was top tier quality for a fantasy high school romcom. Eun dano is justtt ahh so cute, normally grown ass adults’ aegyo makes me gag but her natural adorable self made me warm inside. The actress is really talented like really, from skycastle to this. Every actor in this drama did their jobs pretty well. Haruyaah and eun dano’s chemistry story is beautiful. I loved side characters’ story as well like everyone was just interesting well also thanks to script. The ending wooh i cried from how beautiful it was. top notch quality quotes is a plus.
the world of the married: good actors, good script, wanted to punch the dude multiple times, the ending is realistic, kept me interested in every episode.
nevertheless: look. I get what the director wanted to do with the main couple’s dynamics, it is like a french noir if that makes sense?, like love is not rational it is not pure and fluffy it is painful i get that. but i wanted to just knock some sense into nabi, i really disliked her as well as the butterfly guy. BUT i want a show with the side characters i loved them i skipped the main couple to watch the side character’s storyline. Just please make a new show with the side characters as the mains.
squid game: is it even considered a kdrama? Probably not but just wanted to add it. Korean cinematography is really fricking mindblowing, the harsh truth about social class differences, sad reality of the poor with debt bigger than their being.. korea proved its lead in cinema many times with the handmaiden, burning, parasite etc.. and this series is no surprise they made it this big and successful. they understood the assignment of cinema as a form of art and served. quality man, quality; they have it. Well deserved success hope to see more. Also my girlies saebyeok and jinyeong, the actress who played jinyeong just put a sword in my heart with her smile and last words. Really great actress.
youth of may: my heart has been and IS shattered. myonghee and heetaes relationship was so precious, since its based upon real events i wasnt expecting a happy ending in the first place but i couldnt watch it at one sitting too heartbreaking:(, it was a well done show with great acting. Go minsi and lee dohyeon’s chemistry is honestly unmatched, they go so well together. Go minsi is such a good actress btw the way she can transfer feelings to the watcher was mindblowing AND i literally have personal feelings for lee dohyeon lol im in love with him he is just so dreamy his character from what i saw is close to the character he plays in the show and wow im in luv. lastly PLEASE PUT GO MINSI AND LEE DOHYEON ON A SHOW TOGETHER AGAIN BUT IN A ROMCOM WHERE THEY DONT SUFFER AND HAVE A HAPPY ENDING PLEASE.
run on: one of the healthiest relationships in a kdrama, the plot was so heart touching people who are in mid 20s will understand me on this one, the ideas that it presented to the viewer was so comforting. honestly a healing drama. if i say that i loved every character i wouldnt be lying. also my fav gg girlie sooyungie🥺 her character was *chefs kiss* i definitely recommend
hotel del luna: is there anything iu is not good at? at this point i believe there isnt. i fell in love with her once again among being the best vocalist and lyricist of all time she is also an excellent actress. it was honestly a top tier drama, i felt butterflies in my stomach, i sobbed for days, i laughed, i felt mesmerized and much more feelings in me were evoked. it was in one word flawless. the storyline, the acting, the cinematography 10/10. it became one of my top dramas.
K2: ji changwook is so handsome to start off lol. props to him for all the action scenes. overall there are soo many logical mistakes, only multi layered character and only character i liked was choi yujin. jeha had more chemistry with jss members than he did with anna. Anna can go down in history as one of the most annoying characters, but it is the fault of the writers her trauma was swept under the rug thus everything she did seemed like it didnt have a reason and stupid. Choi yujin im so sorry love. didnt like it tbh, i wouldnt recommend who searches for something with a good storyline.
happiness: short and sweet drama, tbh i am not a fan of zombie or monster kinda things i just watched it purely because of the romantic plot and it didn’t disappoint. the actors were talented so it made it more interesting. Tbh did not like the ending but not a bad drama, it is decent.
my name: han sohee’s acting daaaaamnn womaaan. The quality of this show was unbelievable in every aspect. I started off with han sohee since she is the main character but every freaking actor was so talented, choi mujin, gangjae i was amazed by the storyline and the portrayal of the characters, definitely was a fresh of air from the cliche dramas. you must definitely watch it you wont regret it
extracurricular: once again this show proves that korean tv series should never be belittled. i saw it being mentioned by my name actors in an interview and i found out it was from the same director; such qualified directors exists in the industry i’m so content with korean tv series taking the lead in entertainment. the topic of suffering teenagers in the korean society were never taken into hand without any embellishments. it was so raw, the script was well written. I have my own thoughts and problems with the ending butttt wont spoil it because i highly recommend everyone to watch it.
a korean odyssey: first half of this show made me hooked on it second half of this show made me confused as hell because i got bored and found myself skipping some parts. until the episode in which the real villain appears i thought wow ill like it as much as i liked goblin and hotel del luna but it took a weirdly bad turn in the end. again this show lacked the depth for the viewer. also the female character was literally a damsel in distress who was helpless all the time, her portrayal made me honestly uncomfy she was really boring. would i recommend it? If you dont have anything to watch and got plenty of time sure go ahead not that horrible but if you want some good storyline which makes you feel some things then search for something else
legend of the blue sea: pioneers of korean romance are the leading actors in this one, it is expected that it was good as it was. writing, directing, acting is all great, loved watching it. would recommend
business proposal: a romcom that is worth to watch, the actresses’ talent made the series what it is right now i guess because they were the ones that carried the show with their performance.is it the best? no, is it the worst? nah. it was a decent feel-good drama in my opinion
all of us are dead: normally i dont like any kinda genre or show that involves zombies but this series were so hyped up that i had to watch it and tbh it didnt disappoint, new generation korean actors are really talented their acting skills were pretty damn good. I liked the realism combined with supernatural elements. I cant comment much on the script tho not the best written character or storyline but it gave what it wanted to gave, you know what i mean?
semantic error: the lgbtq representation we’ve wanted! finally a korean show that was so pleasant to watch that involved actors who were not itchy or uncomfortable to act in a bl! i loved it honestly such an easy and heartwarming show. made my heart prrr, props to everyone who made it because it is rare to find a romcom bl that is actually good
my liberation notes: ohh i have so many things to say about this one, all of the stillness of the events all of the monologues and dialogues between the characters were top tier. ive started watching it after getting my first white collar job, on top of that i live with my parents so it hit home for me. after your teens being in your mid 20s and the mundane life it brings about along was depicted so beautifully. when you look at it your life becomes all about aiming for those 5 minutes, 5 minutes of relief and happiness.
"We can't exactly say we accomplished nothing, don't you think? Some days I feel like I am, and some days I feel like I'm back to square one. But I still feel I've been liberated even just a little."
“Five minutes a day. If you have five minutes of peace, it's bearable. When I open my eyes in the morning and remember it's Saturday, that makes me happy for ten seconds. Fill up five minutes a day like that. That's how I survive.”
the rawness of everyday life, the struggles you face growing up and by just, just living but still trying to have those 5 moments is beautiful in itself. i loved it, it should be recognized and appreciated by many in my opinion.
will update when i watch new dramas!!
Since you got an idea of my taste hopefully someone could recommend me other dramas! 🥺

| genshin characters txt would main
Tumblr media
yeonjun: the dodoco haver
idk why, but i feel like he would main klee
it’s bong bong bakudan time when he logs on to carry his members in co-op (maybe just soobin)
his klee build is probably a “work-in-progress” (as he calls it)
he claims doesn’t have a lot of time to spend farming domains, but his klee is already oneshotting mitachurls
his goal is probably to one day one-shot dvalin, or better yet, three-shot azdaha
rng is his best friend
probably plays with a straight face while his on-screen numbers for pyro damage reach 500k... a worthy opponent of taehyun’s
surprisingly still a casual player, doesn’t keep up with upcoming characters
something random he would probably do: pick flowers and stand in the flower field while listening to the claming bgm to get inspiration for his next song
Tumblr media
soobin: the low ar player
eula main. he is 100% a claymore user
used to main aether, then accidentally got eula (cryo aristocrat!)
eula came home just like that... on his first ten roll ever
...but he has no idea how builds work. not a clue.
the only reason she has pale flame and noblesse on her is that it fits her outfit
she has the favonius greatsword on her for the same reason
so... who’s gonna tell him? or will he find out that the reason he keeps dying in the ascension quest is that he’s been running defense and hp artifacts on eula all along...
he hopped on the trend later than his members, who told him that he “doesn’t need to worry about builds”
something random he would do: make like 500+ lighter-than-air pancakes and then try to make them irl and vlog it
Tumblr media
beomgyu: the madlad
the type to have the most cursed builds
if you think dps barbara is sacrilege, you haven’t seen his builds yet
probably gave bennett thundering fury just to clear abyss, made xingqiu a physical dps, built zhongli on hp, and made ningguang a healer
as for who he mains, it’s probably the geo archon
yeah he has like 50k hp, but somehow still does 100k on average for his ult
breaks into a laughing fit every time taehyun calls him out for his weird builds
will throw hands if anyone tries to touch his builds
the most threatening thing he’s heard was taehyun saying “next time, i’ll go on your account to put mappa mare on ningguang and give her archaic petra” (he has prototype amber and a full maidens set on her)
all in good humor ofc  ヽ(・∀・)ノ
something random he would do: confuse everyone in co-op when barbara deals physical damage and lisa heals
Tumblr media
taehyun: baron bunny expert
the true gamer
he’s an amber main, and has like 3 of her constellations
amber’s charged shots probably deal like 30k per hit, and he probably goes into abyss with her AND manages to clear it every time with 9 stars
he also probably built childe as a burst “support”
flexed on everyone during the windblume festival balloon minigame
“not everyone has perfect aim"
the real build expert (probably watches tony to) who’s annoyed, but also lowkey impressed by beomgyu’s cursed builds
likely has 100+ ways to kill timmie’s birds
has all the starter characters built and maxed out
something random he would do: watch soobin struggle with the ascension quest for an hour straight before pointing out that he has terrible builds
Tumblr media
hueningkai: the dodoco wanter
mains the only gun owner in the game: the prinzessin der verurteilung, fischl
he’s at friendship level 10 with her, and probably knows all her crazy long voicelines by heart
he would be a klee main (who doesn’t love the sparkle knight and her dodoco? the dodoco plush is probably on his bday wishlist, too)
...only if rng didn’t hate his guts
and unfortunately, rng does have favorites
losing your 50/50 and getting qiqi instead happens to the best of us
when that happened to him, at least yeonjun was there to comfort him: “that’s rough buddy. i’m sure she’ll have a rerun in the future.”
the good news is, sayu’s coming up! he’s probably saving his primogems for the cutest claymore healer <3
something random he would do: spend time creating a really expansive serenitea pot; it’s filled with animals of all kinds, and he has cute decorations everywhere
Tumblr media
a/n: idk i just felt like i needed to write this,,, sorry if you don’t play genshin hgahsgha

Dramas I Watched in 2020
I watched a lot of dramas this year, y’all.  Here’s what I watched and what I thought of them!
Tumblr media
Boys Over Flowers (10/10)
3rd watch – I cannot explain the love that I have for this show.  It is absolutely wacky and farfetched, but so, so fun.  This was my introduction into K-Dramas (well, re-introduction…more on that later) and it will always have a special place in my heart. This watch was with my sister as she was recovering from surgery. Even though I’d already seen it twice, it was addictive as always.
Tumblr media
Dream High (9.5/10)
1st watch - This was one of the cutest and most feel-good shows I watched this year. Part of me wishes I hadn’t discovered it until quarantine because nearly every episode left me grinning and with a song in my heart.  It was also my introduction to K-Pop (2PM, which eventually led me to BTS aka the best thing that happened to me this year).  I loved the characters and their pursuit of their dreams.  The drama turns 10 in a few days, so I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that I loved when the kids finally came together as a team near the end of the show.  My one regret is that I fell for the wrong lead guy, so I would have liked to have avoided that second lead syndrome.  It’s one of the most compelling love triangles I’ve watched, though!
Tumblr media
Cinderella and the Four Knights (7.5/10)
1st watch - Regrettably, I don’t remember much about this drama.  I know that I enjoyed the relationships between Ha-Won and the “Four Knights.”  I enjoyed Ahn Jae-Hyun’s character at the beginning, but didn’t like him as much as his tear-filled relationship with the seamstress progressed.  The singer was my favorite of the cousins and am I the only one who wanted more screen time for the bodyguard?  Anyway, it was cute and my mom really enjoyed it.  Plus, seeing Park So-Dam is what eventually got me to watch Parasite!
Tumblr media
The King: Eternal Monarch (9.5/10)
1st watch – I know it’s controversial for me to give this one such a high score, but it was really special to me.  My whole family (minus my dad) and our neighbor watched this show together and debriefed after each episode (from a safe social distance) during early quarantine.  It was the first drama I watched as it was airing, so I experienced the stress of waiting for the next week’s episodes.  I love Lee Min-Ho, so I was really looking forward to his comeback drama.  Woo Do Hwan was an unexpected favorite from this show and I just enjoyed the characters, story, and mystery so much.  I know this drama wasn’t everyone’s favorite, but it holds a lot of special memories for me.
Tumblr media
Bring It On, Ghost (7/10)
1st watch - This was a pretty cute drama, but it was spooky too.  I watched it for Taecyeon, but stayed for the ghost fighting squad.  Kang Ki-Young and Lee David were a treat to watch.  Although I liked Dream High more as a show, I absolutely loved Taecyeon’s Bong Pal.  I didn’t like the ghost at first, but she grew on me as the show went on and ended up enjoying Kim So-Hyun as an actress.  The mystery in this one was compelling too and kept me watching!
Tumblr media
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? (9/10)
1st watch - I’m SO glad I watched this drama!  It had the fun energy of Boys Over Flowers, but was more realistic and grown-up.  If you haven’t gathered yet, I’m a sucker for fun ensembles and the office staff totally fit the bill!  I also live for vacation episodes and this show did not disappoint.  This was my first time to see Park Seo-Joon and Park Min-Young and I will definitely continue to follow their careers.  The mysterious past of the characters slowed the plot and felt a little out of place in my opinion, but I loved the show as a whole and will likely watch it again someday.
Tumblr media
Save Me (6/10)
1st watch - This drama was unlike anything I’ve ever seen and left me feeling a little uneasy after every episode.  That’s not to say that it wasn’t good…on the contrary! This was so well acted and had a unique plot.  I started it because of Taecyeon, Woo Do-Hwan, and Lee David, but was absolutely blown away by Seo Ye-Ji’s acting.  My brother developed a huge crush on her, which is what led us to our next drama, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.
Tumblr media
It’s Okay to Not Be Okay (10/10)
1st watch - Hands down the best drama I watched this year!  I don’t often cry when I watch things, but this had me in tears several times. It was such a loving portrayal of people with mental illness and difficult family relations.  It also had quite a bit of mystery, which is always fun. The characters were well written and beautifully portrayed.
Tumblr media
She Was Pretty (6/10)
1st watch – Okay, so I tricked my mom into watching this with me because I’ve had a crush on Siwon since my English professor in college showed the class the music video for “Hoot” by Girls’ Generation (so random…ask me about it sometime).  He was THE highlight of this drama for me.  I might be biased, of course, but I loved his character way more than the lead (and don’t get me wrong, I love Park Seo-Joon).  Second lead syndrome aside, I enjoyed the drama and it made me want to work for a fashion magazine!

Just Between Lovers (9/10)
1st watch – Another highlight from this year.  Another thing I enjoy besides fun ensembles is melancholy.  This show is a lot heavier than most drama’s I’ve watched, but it was so good.  It explores survivor’s guilt and how grief doesn’t follow a clean timeline.  Won Jin-Ah and Junho were absolutely lovely as the leads.
Tumblr media
The Sound of Your Heart (8/10)
2nd watch – I watched this for the first time back in 2016 before I knew anything about Korean media.  My siblings just found it on Netflix and we decided to watch it together.  This time, we watched it with our mom.  If you haven’t seen it, it’s more skit than continuous storyline, but each episode had me laughing!  I’m glad that I watched it again now that I have so many dramas under my belt.
Tumblr media
Hello My Twenties (6.5/10)
1st /2nd watch –  I started this in 2016 but didn’t finish until this year. I am still in love with the first episode, but didn’t like the direction the show ended up going. I think it’s still worth a watch and I’m glad that I eventually finished it.  The girls were written and portrayed well.
Tumblr media
Cheese in the Trap (6.5/10)
1st watch - I still haven’t really decided how I feel about this drama.  I liked it, but something felt off about it.  I couldn’t keep track of how characters felt about each other and the end was disappointing.  It was overall fun, though and was my cute introduction to Nam Joo Hyuk!  It also gave me a new song to listen to when I want to feel sad (Je te veux by Erik Satie).
Tumblr media
When the Camellia Blooms (7/10)
1st watch – Oh, When the Camellia Blooms, I had such high hopes for you.  I loved the first several episodes and I came around again by the end, but I was not loving the screen time devoted to the Joker plot.  I guess it’s my fault for not thoroughly looking into the story beforehand.  I will say that I am so smitten with Yong-Sik and soft for his relationship with Dongbaek.
Tumblr media
Heirs (6/10)
2nd watch – I watched this alone a few years ago and referenced it so often that I made my mom watch it.  I actually didn’t like it the first time I watched it, but ended up enjoying it this time around.  I was able to keep track of the characters this time, which was a plus! Kim Tan is still kind of a loser and I still have a soft spot in my heart for Young Do, but he’s also a loser.  Surely there are better men out there, Eun-Sang!
Tumblr media
Start Up (8.5/10)
1st watch – I really enjoyed this drama, but I think it helps that I fell for the “right” guy (controversial, I know.  What I mean is that I fell for the one that does end up getting the girl, so I didn’t suffer like I did in “She Was Pretty”).  The Samsan Tech squad was so cute.  My favorite episodes were early on when the plot felt similar to Cyrano de Bergerac and the lead guys weren’t hateful toward one another.  Overall a fun watch!
Tumblr media
Goblin (7.5/10)
1st watch – What a show to end 2020 with!  The bromance between the Goblin and Grim Reaper was the highlight for me, but I also really enjoyed Sunny and her relationship with the characters.  I think it’s because I watched TKEM and Cheese first, but I didn’t like Kim Go Eun’s character as much as I should have.  I’m finding that I do enjoy fantasy dramas, so I’ll be watching more of those in the new year.
Whew!  If you stuck with me to the end, thanks!  I’m always open to drama recommendations.  Happy New Year!

heyy how are you? soo i saw the asian drama asks thingy and i now im gonna ask lol (to be honest im new at the kdrama world so im curious)... 8,13,24,28,54 - wow thats a lot but if you want to answer just one is fine as well :)) thankss
Hiii omg thank you so much for asking these bcs I legit thought no one’s gonna ask me the questions from the drama ask? I feel so happy rn loll
8: First drama you considered your favorite?
Goblin, and it still is my favorite until now
13: Top five K-Dramas?
In order: Goblin, Fight For My Way, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon & Touch Your Heart
24: Jisoo or Nam Joo Hyuk?
I feel so bad for my sadboy Jisoo but I love Nam Joo Hyuk so much especially after Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, so I’ll choose NJH :)
28: Favorite K-Drama friendship?
Oooh when it comes to the best squads and friendships, kdrama has a lot of those, my favorites are: mido and falasol from Hospital Playlist (for me they are like the best!! freaking!! friendship!! in kdrama land, they don’t have as much funny moments as other kdramas do but they are literally so solid, I mean like, staying as friends for 20+ years? I could neverrrr), soldiers squad from CLOY, swag trio from WFKBJ, and fantastic four from FFMW (BONUS: hwarang squad from hwarang -Best irl kdrama friendship I’ve seen (especially PSJ, PHS, and V ^^))
54: Recommend 3 fluffy AF dramas
For me it’s gonna be: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Touch Your Heart, Shopping King Louis. These are 3 kdramas that you can watch when you’re feeling down, as they don’t have much conflict going on especially between the main leads. Just super duper adorable couples everywhere ^^ (I would also say Strong Woman Do Bong Soon cause the main couple is literally the definition of cute, but I wouldn’t say it’s as fluffy as the ones I mentioned above because there is this whole serial killer plot going on the whole series, but if we’re only going to talk about the cutest, fluffiest kdrama couple then I’d say it’s them lol)
That’s all from me, once again thanks for asking! :DD

1, 3, 6, 8, 17/18, 19, 24, 25, 34, 37, 40, please! (As this is a lot—I was indecisive—, feel free to pick and choose whichever. If you did all of them it’d be a very long post.) Keep doing what you’re doing, because it’s awesome!
OH MY GOSH I’M SO FLATTERED OK LIGHTNING ROUND TIME:
1. Top five favorite moments in the MCU?
In no particular order - Pepper & Tony’s dance in Iron Man, the introduction of Cap Sam in TFATWS, the elevator fight in CA:WS, “Avengers, assemble!” from Endgame, the 360 camera shot of the original six teaming up for the first time from Avengers
3. Favorite character and why?
Comfort character = Tony (who I relate to the most), fanfic favorite = Clint (most interesting character I find to read/write), canon favorite = Sam (I mean, it’s Sam).
6. Favorite offscreen/behind the scenes moment?
There’s the cutest gif somewhere of Chris Hemsworth pulling a human train of Chris Evans and Scar Jo all in full costume while they all giggle their heads off
8. Favorite trailer?
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
17/18. Favorite Captain America/Iron Man Suits?
Steve’s Nomad look from IW and Tony’s Bleeding Edge-inspired nanotech suit
19/37. Favorite Funko pop made/Funko pop you’d wish they’d make?
So not to be a killjoy but the world is already drowning in plastic without us producing more. That said, the Baby Groot one is pretty damn cute.
24. Favorite non-marvel movie/show that features at least one of the marvel actors?
I am in love with the Bong Joon-Ho movie Snowpiercer which stars Chris Evans. Marriage Story and Her, both with Scarlett, are also up there.
34. Show you’d like to see crossover into the MCU
Can you imagine the Doctor turning up in Loki? Because I can.
40. What movies/storylines do you hope to see in the future?
I would LOVE a “Black Widow & Hawkeye” movie showing their origin. Other than that, I trust the MCU in terms of having their stories down, but I really, really hope that they’re testing the waters with shows like Loki in order to give us proper and in-depth queer storylines in the future.

Flower Files, Part 3 (Rajalaskam, Witney) - Albatross
AN: The third installment of Flower Files featuring Rajalaskam and Witney
Chapter 5 - Rajalaskam
Step. Step. Squish.
Perfect, Willam thought to herself, Just. Fucking. Perfect.
Even before looking down, Willam knew exactly what had just happened. She had just stepped into a very mushy, very rancid pumpkin. She could feel the gooey, decomposing rind brushing against her bare toes. Gross!
“Ugh,” she groaned out in disgust as she pulled out her foot from the mess. It was all over her beautiful heels!
“What happened?” came the distracted reply from Alaska, squatting down just a few feet away and examining yet another pumpkin.
It was her fault Willam was in this mess. Alaska had wanted to pick out pumpkins for the autumn display outside their house. Some would be carved, others merely decorative, but she needed at least one other person to help her carry them, she explained to her girlfriends earlier that week. Raja was quick to point out that she had to work that Saturday morning. It was very calm, very mild the way she said it but that slight curling of her lips, as well as the teasing glint in her eyes as she turned Willam’s way, let her know she was anything but sorry to miss this little adventure. So all that was left was Willam, who made sure never to work on weekends, especially in the early morning.
Goddamn it.
She tried to talk Alaska out of it, offering to buy her “one of those pumpkin spice crappuccinos or whatever” instead but Alaska was not having it.
“As tempting as that sounds,” she noted with a hint of sarcasm, “No.”
Willam had sighed, loudly and expressively. She knew she wasn’t going to win this; in the end she’d always end up giving into Alaska, but that didn’t mean she’d go down without a fight. Smiling back at her girlfriend, Alaska tried to entice her with, “C’mon, it’ll be fun. Don’t you remember picking out pumpkins when you were a kid?”
“No.”
“It won’t even take that long, promise.”
“Bullshit.”
The back and forth went on for another five minutes but as expected, Willam eventually gave in. At least, she consoled herself, it’ll just be a quick trip to the supermarket. Alaska can pick out the pumpkins while Willam stays in the nice, warm car and then she’ll help carry them after Alaska has found her favorites. Should be done in 30 minutes. 45, tops.
Or so Willam thought.
What Alaska neglected to mention was that she intended to pick out her pumpkins directly from the patch…and that of course meant walking up and down the endless rows examining Every. Fucking. Pumpkin.
All while Willam pulled the heavy cart behind her. In heels, no less!
She had rounded on her girlfriend with an intense glare the moment they pulled into the lot and Willam realized what was going on. Of course Alaska would want to do it the old fashioned way but why for God’s sake did she have to pull Willam into this utter ridiculousness?
“Jesus Christ,” she complained, “I’m in heels for fuck’s sake!”
“You’re always in heels,” Alaska pointed out sedately as she exited the car, “And I told you to wear comfortable shoes.”
“These are comfortable!” Willam argued, following after her, “On solid ground. Not this disgusting mess…And is that fucking manure over there?”
Alaska merely shrugged as she led them over to the wagon rental. Though she tried to hide it, a devilish little smirk was curling at the edges of her lips. Willam was so going to get her back for this! And Raja.
Lucky little bitch!
She had little doubt Raja knew exactly what Alaska meant by picking out pumpkins. Probably arranged to be working today so she’d get out of it.
Oh, Willam was definitely going to get both of them.
She complained for the first 10 minutes, non-stop, loud and annoying as only she could but Alaska was unbothered. She paid little attention to Willam’s whining. After all, it was nothing compared to her own temper tantrums. And she knew Willam would trail off sooner or later.
As the vocal complaints turned to disgruntled mumblings, Alaska felt free to enjoy herself. She loved the thought of picking out pumpkins straight from the farm; there was something quaint and wholesome about it that reminded her of childhood. And she loved that she got to experience this with one of her girlfriends. She would have preferred both but she was sure she could rope Raja into decorating the display with her later. Maybe she could even convince Willam to carve a pumpkin or two with them…
Two hours slipped by, Willam trudging along the rough path with the wagon following behind her and Alaska constantly bending over and examining each pumpkin she thought might belong in her display. There were only two more rows left to inspect and then they could call it a day. By this point Willam was dazed and resigned to her fate. She distracted herself with lazy thoughts of how to get revenge on both of her girlfriends…maybe in bed…maybe not…but when her foot sunk deep into the rotten rind of a pumpkin left a little too close to the path, she was sharply awoken from her distracted state.
A shiver had travelled up her spine as the cold, gooey insides seeped between her toes while Alaska asked her what was wrong. It was here Willam began her complaints anew but to her slight relief, they actually worked this time. Alaska had taken a look back at the wagon and the last pumpkin in her hands and decided this would be enough to at least get her started with the display piece. She might need to pick up an extra pumpkin or two from the grocery store but they could leave the fields now. Willam was being a relatively good sport earlier so it was the least Alaska could do not to force her to continue walking with all that gunk on her foot.
As they arrived back at the stall to pay for their finds, Alaska took the opportunity to pick out a few extra gourds and mini pumpkins to accentuate her display. She was quick about it, knowing Willam’s mood was gradually growing worse, but to her surprise Willam actually picked up one of the small, dark green mini pumpkins on her own. Perhaps she wasn’t as annoyed after all?
As soon as they were in the car, Willam tore off her heels and retrieved a few napkins tucked away in the glove box to properly clean them off. Before Alaska drove off, she pressed a quick kiss to Willam’s cheek and thanked her for coming along.
Though Willam would never admit it, the kiss and heartfelt ‘Thank you’ had mollified her. But she still had a reputation to uphold and continued to act irritated all the way home.
Barefoot, she helped Alaska empty out the car of their purchases and bring a few pumpkins of choice indoors for carving. While Alaska washed them off in the sink and set down newspaper over the table, Willam scurried off to change into something much more comfortable. By the time she returned, in a pair of skimpy, skin tight shorts, a well-loved T-shirt, and her hair done up in a messy bun, she found Alaska already sketching out the first Jack-O-Lantern’s face. A few smaller pumpkins had been left off to the side, misshapen or oddly textured, just the way Raja liked them. She knew Raja would not disappoint in whatever she decided to do to decorate them.
Alaska’s pumpkins, however, were kept charmingly simple. Triangle eyes and nose, scattered teeth in a wide grin, she even sketched out ear holes on the sides.
Willam watched her for a few moments as she completely absorbed herself in creating the perfect cutesy faces for each pumpkin. Then Willam let her attention drift back to the singular pumpkin she had picked out. She knew exactly what she wanted to do with it and after the morning she had, felt it was a deserving purpose for the little gourd.
She made quick work of washing the miniature pumpkin and lightly marking where she wanted to cut. She was unusually careful not to cut too deep, Alaska noticed. Her gaze kept drifting back to her girlfriend out of both curiosity and slight concern. Willam was always a chaotic force whenever crafting was involved, and then throwing in a knife as well? Alaska’s heart never raced harder than when she saw Willam haphazardly cutting into something while ignoring all safety precautions or gentle warnings from her girlfriends.
Alaska was just about to begin carving her second pumpkin by the time Willam had removed a section off the top of hers and cleaned out the innards. She carelessly licked the pumpkin guts off the knife, making Alaska’s stomach queasy in process. But before she looked away for her own sanity, she noticed Willam’s face contorting in the cutest expression of mild disgust. Alaska couldn’t stop her lips from curling as she refocused on her own crafting.
Her attention was soon divided again by Willam running back to the kitchen and rummaging through the drawers, then off to the bathroom and strangely towards the bedroom as well. She came back with the oddest collection of items; a cheap metal flour sifter from the dollar store, a screwdriver she picked up somewhere, one of Raja’s clogs that Willam regularly made fun of, some kind of plastic tubes, and-
Wait.
Now Alaska realized what she was doing.
She’d seen Raja demonstrate this so many times (though her efforts were always a bit more organized than this).
Willam was making a bong out of her mini pumpkin. Alaska had to laugh, because of course she would. How had she missed the gears spinning in Willam’s head as she picked out the pumpkin from the stall?
“Gonna share that when you’re done, right?” Alaska asked, amusement in her voice, as Willam tried to hammer the screwdriver into the pumpkin with Raja’s clog.
“Maybe,” Willam replied distractedly.
Read as ‘of course,’ Alaska noted with a grin.
They continued their projects for the next hour in relative silence. The dining room table was a mess of soiled newspaper, pumpkin guts and random disassembled household products Willam had collected for her home-made bong. She was still experimenting with getting it just right when Raja arrived back home. She had immediately made her way towards the kitchen, following the sounds of clatter and clanging to find her partners each engaged in their own tasks at the table. Willam was the most focused and didn’t notice her right away until she felt Raja pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. She didn’t say anything but the hint of a grin as she worked told Raja more than enough. Though she had to wonder why one of her clogs was left laying on the table. Moving on to Alaska, she pressed a kiss to her cheek as well, wiping off some of the dried pumpkin guts Alaska had missed earlier when she tried to clean her face.
“You ladies have fun today?” she asked, arms wrapped around Alaska’s waist as they both watched Willam pouring a half-empty bottle of water into the little pumpkin.
“No,” Willam complained briefly before taking her first hit.
“I did,” Alaska countered. “Wish you were there though.”
“Yeah, you could’ve pulled the fucking wagon,” Willam muttered.
Raja chuckled lightly as she moved over to sit next to Willam and relieve her of the pumpkin. “Next time,” she promised, taking an experimental hit off Willam’s questionable-looking bong.
“Not bad,” she commented as her lips broke free. Willam made a noise of agreement as well as a few mental notes of what to do better next time. But it came out surprisingly effective for a spur of the moment decision.
The pair passed the pumpkin back and forth for another round as Alaska finished the last of her rudimentary cleaning. She laid out a fresh spread of newspaper for whenever Raja started her own carving. She motioned over to the collection of odd and unusual pumpkins before relieving Willam of her bong and taking a few well-earned hits.
While the two continued to share the homemade bong, Raja’s gaze travelled to the other end of the table to inspect her pumpkins and begin brainstorming for ideas. A few thoughts were brewing but she’d definitely sketch them out on paper first before marking up any of the pumpkins. One thing she did notice right away brought a smile to her lips.
“They’re perfect by the way,” she complimented Alaska. “You know how much I like the weird ones.”
She glanced over to Willam, now taking another hit, and nudged her lightly in the side. Willam stared blankly for a moment, wheels turning in her head, as Alaska struggled not to outright laugh. Then, after 2 or 3 seconds, Willam’s mind caught up with what Raja had said and she immediately stuck her tongue out. “Fuck off,” she laughed out in a huff. “I hate both of you.”
“Yes, and we hate you, too,” Raja murmured, pressing a brief kiss to Willam’s grinning lips.
Chapter 6 - Witney
“Dandelions are kinda pretty, don'tcha think?” Courtney blurted out as she and Willam trekked through the park. Her gaze had been wandering around the huge open space that surrounded them. It seemed like everything was in bloom right now, whether it was the flowers on the trees or the wildflowers off in the distance, but especially noticeable was dandelions scattered in amongst the grass.
Irritably shifting their overpacked cooler from one hand to another, Willam remarked, “I think it’s a weed.”
“Still pretty,” Courtney countered, picking up one just off the dirt trail they were using and holding it out for Willam to see.
Despite Courtney’s usually infectious smile, Willam just looked at the object derisively for a moment, shifted the cooler yet again, and commented, “Still a weed…but not the useful kind.”
Laughing lightly as she bent down to pick up another long stemmed dandelion, Courtney pointed out, “Dandelions are plenty useful. Bees love them.”
“Bees love any kind of flower,” Willam muttered, trying to keep from huffing as she continued to struggle with the cooler. Maybe if she tried carrying it with both hands?
“They’re nutritious too,” Courtney chirped away, plucking up another flower, “…can even be used for medicine.”
It was here Willam stopped in her tracks for a hot second to give Courtney a look of concern. “Please tell me you don’t actually eat them,” she groaned in mild disgust.
Courtney’s laughter echoed through the park as she veered off the path again and replied, “No, but it’s still good information to know.”
“Right,” Willam grumbled sarcastically. Looking up ahead, she was relieved to find the picnic table was finally within sight. Just a few more feet.
Bending down to pick up another few dandelions growing clustered together, Courtney added in, “And it helps that they’re so easy to grow.“
“Again; because it’s a weed!” Willam shouted back as she rushed on towards the table. She dropped the cooler as soon as she was close enough and not a moment too soon; her fingers felt like they were about to break off!
She shook her hands trying to regain some of the feeling back in her fingers before sitting down and unpacking their weighty lunch. Courtney was still off the path, about 10 or so yards away, picking the blooming dandelions with the longest stems. When she finally had a nice little bundle in her hand, she rejoined Willam at the picnic table. Renewing their conversation, one Willam had hoped was finally done, Courtney stated proudly, “They can even grow through the cracks in concrete. That’s perseverance.”
“That sounds stolen from a motivational poster,” Willam countered with an eye roll. Despite her firm stance that dandelions were just a weed, she could feel a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips, especially once Courtney corrected her with a lazy, drawn out, “Maybe borrowed.”
For the next minute or two, Willam focused her energy on setting out their lunches while Courtney fiddled with all the flowers she collected. Willam didn’t pay much attention to her, instead she was sorting through what food was definitely hers so she could finally eat. She hadn’t realized just how starving she was until she could finally see the food laid out in front of her.
She was nearly finished with her task when Courtney mused out loud once more, “And it’s fun to blow all the little seeds off and watch them float away.”
“If you say so,” Willam replied distractedly. Just about…Done!
“I do say so,” Courtney teased. When Willam looked back at her, ready to announce that they could start eating, she found herself having to pause. Those stupid little dandelions were gone and Courtney’s hands were currently behind her back. Willam eyed her up suspiciously as Courtney maneuvered her way out of her seat and circled the table until she was sitting right next to Willam. She could barely contain her grin, an act that did nothing to ease Willam’s concerns that she was up to something. Then, very carefully, Courtney withdrew her hands from behind her back and announced, “And…they’re the best flower to make a crown out of.”
No sooner had she said it than Willam found a small crown of poorly tied dandelions resting on her head. Immediately, she gave Courtney a withering look, imagining whatever little bugs that hitched a ride on those flowers now crawling in amongst hair, but Courtney just beamed back at her. She looked so pleased with herself, it was a struggle for Willam not to crack even just a little smile.
Sighing softly in defeat, Willam shook her head and shifted around to remove her phone from her pocket. As she unlocked it, she could hear Courtney giggling next to her, saying, “Alright, you can take it off.”
But to Courtney’s surprise, instead of immediately snatching the handmade crown from her head, Willam simply held up her phone, angled just so, and snapped a series of selfies. With her own cocky, satisfied little grin, Willam informed her, “After lunch I will.”
Squealing in delight, Courtney pulled her in for a brief kiss. Just a small way to thank Willam for humoring her, even begrudgingly. Forgetting the food for now, Willam suggested taking just a few more pictures together. “For Instagram,” she reasoned. But by the end of the day both of their profiles had been loaded with multiple stories of them enjoying their time in the park and in a few carefully angled shots, Willam’s flower crown could still be seen resting on her head well into the late afternoon.

Some K-drama suggestions for those wanting to start watching K-dramas
1) strong woman do bong soon -(start with this, it'll suck you right in)
2) my Gf is a gumiho- the cutest show to ever exist. I dont really revisit shows but this one I do
3) my introverted boss:- not lighthearted at all. Deals with a lot of issues but a good watch.
4)my father is strange :- you'll definitely relate to one character and keep watching for her/him if not for the story but honestly thats impossible cause the story is amazing with some amazing character developments. Perks if you are a lawyer or a law student you'll feel really proud.
5) her private life:- the best OST ever!!!!
6) the legend of the blue sea:- it has lee min ho and an amazing storyline with the cutest character of all time Tae Ho
Series not to watch
1) what's wrong with Secretary kim:- im sorry but this is the show that actually made me stop watching k dramas unless father is strange pulled me back in. This is unpopular opinion but it's just a badly written show in my opinion.

Replay 1988:kdrama review
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hello hello BACK at it again with a reply 1988 review 😋
Spoilers Ahead!!!!!beware!!!
P.s this is gonna be LONG so again beware!!!!
Ok so firstly this show is honestly one of the best kdrama’s I’ve ever watched. Like I’m actually shocked it’s not more popular. So let’s get right into it.
The Plot :
ok so at first and in the first couple of episodes, I was very confused and not really sure where this plot was going but eventually I started to get to know the characters and the rest was history....now I’m emotionally attached to a show that came out 4 years ago hahah 😂 . But seriously this plot is really really heartwarming and so calming. Definitely a slow burner so don’t expect some crazy stuff..just relax and enjoy.
The Characters. Hmm should we go one by one yess let’s do that
Our Queen Deoksan 👏: ok applause to hyeri for fully embodying this character honestly she was amazing. Ok so deoksan at first was introduced as a almost sad middle child type of character and it was so amazing to see her go from that to realizing she’s loved to working hard for her exams to falling in love with Taek. I loved her character development as well as just her in general honestly STAN DEOKSAN
Our Pure boy Taek: let me start by saying I love Taek like there’s no denying I would die for him lol but more seriously I love love soft boy characters and his so precious I JUST WANT TO PROTECT. I also love boys who are shy but also are not afraid to express that they like someone like YESS King👏 anyway his relationship with his father made me cry and I loved everything to do with him
Mr hottie Junghwan: though i was a taek fan, i loved how sweet and funny junghwan was. Like you can really see that he did care for deoksan and they just had that “ right lovers bad timing” type of relationship. anyway his interactions with his brother were so sweet and the pilot story.goodness i needed some tissues. i love him and he deserved better 🥺
The nations first love Sunwoo🥰: when i say i thought this man was an angel.. i mean I THOUGHT HE WAS AN ANGEL. like a boy who is both handsome; super smart; the BEST brother and kind to his mom. like yes please . but seriously if taek wasn’t there sunwoo would be my number one and i loved how he was both so strong and so able to connect with his emotions. yes king  p.s i love him and bora together  uggh their wedding *literal heart eyes*
The resident class clown Dong-ryong: this man right here made this show so funny uggh i loved him and i loved how comfortable he was with all the friends family.. like mans would stay eating all 3 meals at their houses soo cute and i think he’s a true example that you can be successful even if school isn’t your vibe so yayyy 🥳
special mentions: Bora aka best character development; big brother jung-bong aka casanova; junghwans dad uggh loved him and of course the cutest girlie jinjoo
honestly i wish i could include everyone cause this CAST WAS AMAZING. please watch it and remember to love yourself and those who are like family to you.
10/10

My Five Favorite Romantic K-Dramas (by a newbie)
I admit, I used to ~dislike~ Korean Dramas not just because it is too mainstream, but also each episode of every dramas run for at least an hour, and as someone who has a short attention span, I was totally not for it. I, too, did not expect that the Korean drama wave would affect me so much that I won't sleep until my question about an episode of the drama I was watching has been answered. As someone who has always been a fan of all things romance, these five k-dramas made me love the genre even more. *SPOILERS AHEAD*
1. WHAT'S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM (2018)
Tumblr media
Plot:
This tells the story of a *really* handsome but self centered and narcissistic bujangnim - Vice Chairman Lee Young Joon (Park Seo Joon) who fell in love with his nine-year secretary Kim Mi So (Park Min Young) while stopping her from resigning.
What I like about this Drama:
- Its light ~aura~ (and Young Joon's Aura, of course). It is a feel good drama and is the best one to make your heart flutter. Young Joon is just super boyfriend material as he falls for Mi So everyday. I also like the fact that there are no antagonists and not much problems and obstacles were shown.
- THEIR CHEMISTRY. I honestly loved the chemistry between the two leads and I LOVED every scenes they have together, especially the ones in his office and in his house :P
- The supporting characters. Unlike other dramas who have an *official* second lead couples, this k drama also offers not one but two side couples who also started to find romance at the same time as the main leads. Secretary Yang's confession to Manager Bong is one of the most iconic confessions in k drama land, i must say.
- The office setting! This drama made me love workplace dramas because it also shows that you always start from the ground, especially in Miso's case.
- Its kilig factor. This drama loves to play with my heart as it keeps on pounding everytime Young Joon makes Mi So feel his love and vice versa. They portray a healthy, understanding and a lowkey relationship that is definitely relationship goals.
Favorite Scene/s:
- Young Joon's Proposal to Mi So. From the caramel bars to the song he prepared for her, I must say it is by far the best marriage proposal I have seen in a k drama. It is a heartfelt proposal that will make you fall in love as well!
- When Young Joon was drunk after drinking with Mi So's dad but managed to express how much he loves her. I cannot count how many times I rewatched this scene, you would also feel his sincerity even if he is drunk, but his drunkenness made him express how much she loves Mi So and that he is ready to spend the rest of his life with her.
- *Every Kissing Scenes* It was so sweet and gentle. How. Could. You. Not. Love. It. Especially their first kiss!!
- The first time Young Joon said I love you. It was when he was teasing Mi So about their *unfinished business*, he went from spicy to sweet when Mi So got annoyed with him for being such a ~bulldozer~ but he stopped by saying ~saranghaeyo~ instead.
- All of their scenes when they are already dating, actually.
2. ENCOUNTER (2018 - 2019)
Tumblr media
Plot:
A Hotel CEO and Divorcee, Cha Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo) spends a day with a free spirited and ambitious guy, Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum) in a business trip in Cuba who turns out to be a newly hired employee in her hotel in Korea. Their fateful encounter turned out to be an encounter of a lifetime.
What I like about this drama:
- Its heart fluttering moments. This drama is also the best in making my heart flutter. My heart beats everytime Jin Hyuk stands up for Soo Hyun whenever the kontrabidas in her life try to bring her down and whenever he expresses how much he loves her.
- The modern ~fairytale~ theme. Rich Girl falls inlove with a Poor Guy. Typical, right? But the fact that they fought for each other even if they have a different status in life,  their love prevailed no matter how circumstances try to break them apart and they were willing to step to each other's world and leave everything behind is a magic we don't usually see in most fairytales.
- KIM. JIN. HYUK. The best boyfriend, ever. He has the most swoon worthy lines that you'd wish you'd hear from your siginificant other too (and make you want to have one). Not just that, he pursued Soo Hyun no matter what and gave no shit to the people who tell them they are from different worlds and must not be together, instead, he went on to take a step forward towards "the world she lives alone."
- The fact that Soo Hyun learned and eventually took control of her own life and stood firm on her own decisions when Kim Jun Hyuk came into his life just goes to show that she loves Jin Hyuk as much as he loves her. She also became stronger and learned to fight for what she wants!
- The Pilot Episode. It is undoubtedly my favorite pilot episode out of all the dramas Ive watched. It is a great introduction to the drama and it was just so magical, from the cinematography and emphasis on how important Cuba is on their love story.
- Park Bo Gum. He did great in portraying Kim Jin Hyuk, his acting is so convincing that you'd want him as your namjachinggu too. Not to mention that he makes what is  supposed to be a sad scene only to a tearjerking one because of his crying face.
Favorite Scene/s:
- When Soo Hyun fearlessly announced that he and Jin Hyuk are in a Pre-Relationship stage.
- All their scenes together in Cuba. Especially when Soo Hyun found the letter Jin Hyuk left for him in the coffee shop and when they came back to the place they first met.
- The scene when they both agreed to be in a pre-relationship stage after he saw Soo Hyun in the museum they've been going too.
- That scene where Jin Hyuk told Soo Hyun she cant live without her anymore because "that would be impossible." I shed tears everytime I re-watch this scene, it was just so sincere.
- When Jin Hyuk attended the Masquerade ball he organized, much to Soo Hyun's surprise. *It is where they had their first kiss*
- When they had a date in a park where Jin Hyuk gave Soo Hyun a couple ring.
3. WEIGHTLIFTING FAIRY KIM BOK JOO (2016 - 2017)
Tumblr media
Plot: Weightlifter Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) cross paths with his childhood friend, Jung Jun Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk), who is a swimmer in the university she attends to. Together, they discover what it is to love and to be loved and to face victories and failures.   What I like about the drama: - The theme. I liked how it relied and revolved heavily on the sports theme and how important it was to their story. The fact that Jun Hyung does not always win in his competitions and Si Ho, who was once the best gymnast in their university but is not anymore is realistic, because we don't always win and succeed everytime, and its okay. - The lessons. The best thing this drama has taught me is its okay to take a break and even quit from the thing you were passionate about. There came a time when Bok Joo felt discouraged from everything that she had to take a break from weightlifting and started to do things she always wanted to do. - The Main leads. I could not have asked for a better casting. LSK fits Bok Joo perfectly and NJH is perfect for Jun Hyung. They have a pleasing and satisfying chemistry that you'd wish to see them work together (and date) again. - Its cute and light vibes. I am totally so into dramas with no antagonists and no stressful scenes. It is definitely what you need after watching a heavy drama. - Their love for each other. It was just so pure and healthy. Jun Hyung thought things over and made sure she is really in love with Bok Joo before confessing and waited till she felt the same way and same goes to Bok Joo who did not give false hopes to Jun Hyung and eventually realized that he makes her heart flutter too. They are relationship goals and make you want to find a boyfriend / girlfriend ASAP. - Their friendship. They were always there for each other, through thick and thin! Favorite Scene/s: - The protesting scene. When their coach got fired for using their department's fund for a student in need, Bok Joo felt the need for their voices to be heard, so they held a protest against the university's decision and also went on a hunger strike. Eventually, they were heard and got their coach back. - When they became official. It was one of the cutest becoming official scenes in kdramas i have watched, it was so real. - Their graduation. Especially when Jun Hyung was so sure of Bok Joo that he told her he will marry her when he makes it through the national team and wins a gold medal. - When Jun Hyung and Bok Joo talked things over in their dorm's lobby when she got Jealous of Si Ho, Jun Hyung had to calm her down and explain why he was like that. - When they went clubbing, specifically when they were on the dancefloor, their dance moves were SO hilarious. - All their scenes at the fish pond! - Actually, all of their scenes together.
4. CRASH LANDING ON YOU (2019 - 2020)
Tumblr media
Plot: A South Korean chaebol, Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) crash lands into the North Korean DMZ, specifically into the arms of soldier Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin) after a paragliding accident. What I like about the drama: - Their meet cute. You would tell that their *first* meeting was a fresh concept and was unique. - The way it portrayed destiny. Out of all the k dramas that wanted to show how destined the main couples are, this drama is definitely on the top. It surely made every viewers believe in destiny. They were so destined for each other that it made you want to crash land(i) on someone too. - The filming locations. As a newbie, what makes me like a K Drama are the filming spots. And CLOY, being the extra drama that it always has been, surely never fails. The locations were not just for a beautiful backdrop but it really played important roles in their love story, especially in Switzerland. But as a foodie, my favorite would have to be the chicken and beer shop in Seoul that Se Ri, Jeong Hyeok and the comrades frequent. Favorite Scene/s: - All of their *meetings* in Switzerland. (Yup, and THAT meeting too ❤️) - Jeong Hyeok and Se Ri's inuman session, especially when Jeong Hyeok said he wants to marry Se Ri in Seoul and have twins with her and that he wants to see her have gray hair. I mean, how can you not love that scene. 😩 - Okay, this one is heartbreaking, but i liked it because it is. When Se Ri said Saranghaeyo to Jeong Hyeok for the first time, but what supposed to be a sweet scene turned into a heartbreaking one when Jeong Hyeok heard a gun shot right after she said those words. - When Jeong Hyeok gave Se Ri couple rings on her birthday. - The moment they met again in South Korea. - All of their scenes together in Jeong Hyeok's parents house, especially when they found out they actually met each other before in Switzerland.
5. SUSPICIOUS PARTNER (2017)
Tumblr media
Plot: A prosecutor trainee turned lawyer, Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) was arrested for the murder of his ex boyfriend but was acquitted by his former senior, prosecutor turned lawyer No Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) because of lack of evidence. They teamed up to solve more cases and to find answers as well as eventually finding love along the way. What I like about the drama: - The humor. I super loved this drama's comedic side. It is definitely not your typical romcom as it also focuses on the legal and crime aspect of the story. I remember how I laughed out loud everytime Ji Wook loses his chill during their chaotic meetings or whenever Bong Hee is being Bong Hee. - Their Chemistry. What makes a drama loveable, is of course, the main leads' chemistry, and theirs is God Tier. IRL, they have a 9 year age gap but you really wont notice it in the drama since they both balance out each other, Chang Wook has that childish side even if he is older, and Ji Hyun has that Mature aura that makes their chemistry overflow. JCW and NJH, pls date. - The Bromance. Even though the two male leads didnt have a mutual relationship from the start, it didnt stop them from having a funny and chaotic bromance. Ji Eun Hyuk (Choi Tae Joon) has always loved his BFF, Ji Wook, but his past mistake makes it hard for Ji Wook to be civil with him, but even though things were tough for Ji Wook, he never failed to care for Eun Hyuk and vice versa. Nevertheless, their bromantic chemistry topped my expectations.   - Its not so usual storyline. Like what I said, this is not your typical romcom. Actually, this drama is more of a legal crime drama than a romantic comedy one, they were so busy catching the culprit (s) that the drama had less time to focus on their love story. However, I still enjoyed its romantic aspect because they both prioritized their careers  (and again, catching the killer) before focusing on their love for each other. And I mean, Ji Chang Wook as your boyfriend? Who would not enjoy that? - JI CHANG WOOK. That's it. This is enough reason for me to like this drama. I mean, I think we can all agree that Ji Chang Wook in Suspicious Partner. Favorite Scenes: - Ji Wook's Proposal to Bong Hee. I love the fact that he swiftly just put the ring on it without asking her the question. He is THAT confident. (Only do it if you are Ji Chang Wook tho) - When Ji Wook found out the *truth* about his parents demise, he tightly hugged Bong Hee and told her to never break up and stay with him even if things would be hard for them and even if he says she should go away. - Their first day together as a couple!! Especially when Ji Wook just came out from the shower and Bong Hee told him that it is their day one. - When Bong Hee teased Ji Wook like something had happened to them when he came home drunk. - The moment they got back together! Ji Wook's line really got me especially when Bong Hee told him that she is scared that something might happen again to them and the people around them, but Ji Wook, being the risk taker of a boyfriend that he is, said that "Let it happen (the bad things) it does not matter to me. It's just that breaking up with you was scarier, to me, that was the scariest thing." - ALL of their "meetings" but are not actually meetings because of Mr. Byeon's funny and senseless antics.
