quick explanation rq
Dragon King Kazimir is an ironic (thank god) webcomic made by 2 people named Pixie and Neon. It's terrible. But that's ok bc it was made to be terrible. It's great. Let's laugh at it together with them.
The story follows insufferable gary stu Kazimir Setson as he is plagued by nightmares of angels, the death of his royal parents, and guys who listen to Weezer. He is also a private investigator/hitman/whatever. Will he fight to take back the throne from Spamton G. Spamton? Most likely. Will he get bitches? Somehow, also most likely. Will he say his famous line "It's Kazzin' time" and kazz all over those guys? Sadly, probably not.
also, check out the deviantart page, or if you wanna spare yourself from rampant misogyny and general assholery, the anime opening for it if you wanna see for yourself how much of a glorious trainwreck this shit is.

Preview of OG story: Love (Takes a Little Work)
The metal felt cold as it clicked into place around his neck. It was snug, pressing faintly against his skin, and though Kazimir knew it had been meticulously measured and fitted, it still felt too tight. Like it was going to strangle him if he breathed too deeply. Or maybe that was just the lump of emotion in his throat, the knot of nerves, fear, and faint resentment tangled inside him as he knelt on the grass of the sacred grove and listened to the priest give the final rites while the younger priests stepped back into place behind them. Their job was done now that the steel marriage necklace with its silver owl pendant was permanently locked around his neck. Fastened there with a tiny, intricate lock to which only the priests had the key, insurance against infidelity.
As the priest bade them to stand and turn to face each other for the first time, Kazimir wondered if she thought it was unfair too. Then again, she wasn’t the one forever leaving her family and home country to seal this alliance. Such a fate would be beneath the Crown Princess of Fidelitaina, home of the finest metalsmiths, miners, and weapon makers in all the elf kingdoms. Princess Mirjana was beloved of her people, a master metalsmith in her own right just like all of Fidelitaina’s royal family, hailed as stunningly beautiful and fiercely loyal to her people. Even the great elder dragons of legend wouldn’t have been able to pry her free of her country without a fight.
No, when the negotiations between his country and hers had begun, there had been no question that one of his family would be the one leaving to join hers, not the other way around. His eldest brother was king and already married with children, the second eldest sibling was a sister, and very firmly settled in her position as the admiral of their navy, their third (another brother) had dedicated his life to the study of magecraft and was ineligible, and their fifth sibling was only in his twenties, far too young to marry anyone. And really, one of his brother’s councilmen had told him as he made to board the ship that would take him to Fidelitaina, with his eldest brother already king, with several children of his own to rule if anything happened to him, and the other elder two fulfilling such essential roles for the kingdom, what else were they going to do with the third prince that would be more advantageous than this?

The Dragon Queen
To protect her people, Aellys must marry the dragonking, unite their empires, and defeat the leviathans who would rule them all.
Dragons and humans have been mortal enemies for as long as anyone can remember, and Queen Aellys hates dragons more than most. They're monsters who deserve nothing but death and destruction, and she will personally hunt down every dragon that sets foot on her land or wing in her sky.
But something worse is coming.
The leviathans are slowly emerging from the sea, great beasts of legend who once had aspirations to take over the world. Only when humans and dragons united were they defeated before. And it is only when humans and dragons unite that they will be defeated once again.
Aellys doesn't want to marry. She has little interest in men, and even less in dragons, but she will do whatever it takes to save her people
As she joins the dragoncourt, she finds King Roaneth is nothing like she expected.
But the leviathans are rising, and time is running out.
Requiem
A hundred years ago, vampires, witches, and werewolves emerged from hiding, revealing themselves to humanity. Soon after that, they took over the world. Forming the Triumvirate, the three ruling races, humans became second-class citizens, serving their supernatural betters.
Oliver is one of the eclipsed, illegally hidden by his parents at birth so that he could exist outside their restrictive rule. Living in society, but apart from it, he steals what he needs and hides during the night. It's a hard life, but one he wouldn't trade for the world.
Until he is caught.
The punishment for not registering yourself at the age of eighteen is harsh, and Oliver is auctioned off to the vampiric elite as a bloodslave. Won by Kazimir, one-third of the Trinity who rule the country. As Oliver is introduced to the decadent world of triumvirate society, he’ll learn nothing is as he thought

“Kazimir Stormbreaker,” I say slowly, “King of Mandalore. Dragon rider. Fantastic warrior. And a very dear friend of mine.”
Sabine shakes her head a little. “I don’t- know who he is, I’m sorry…”

Song Fic: Great Escape
Song: Great Escape Characters: Alice Sweeney, Lovino Bellincioni, Gilbert Lehmann Ship: Lovino x Alice
“Why not just run away?”
Alice’s amber eyes widened as she turned to face her best friend, “What?”
Lovino laid on the grass beside her, lazily opening his dark blue eyes to meet her gaze, “I said, why not just run away?”
Alice’s eyes rolled as she leaned her head against her knees, “I was being serious when sharing how stressed I am with this war, Lovi. You don’t need to make light of this just because your kingdom has remained neutral.”
Lovino’s arms flailed in annoyance, “So because you don’t like my idea, I’m making fun of you? Come on Alice, you know I wouldn’t take anything like this lightly!”
“Oh come on, like running away was a real idea.”
Lovino groaned, sitting up, “Look, I meant it. Why couldn’t we just run away? Me and you, out in the wilderness, maybe a whole new world if you figure out that old dimension gate way spell.”
Alice glanced at him, “You can’t be serious Lovi.”
“Think about it! I could ride in at night, sneak in. We can meet up in the lavender field! You can sneak past your guards, and zoom! We’re in the sky, flying to a new realm, or the woodland far away from all this! No more war, no more arranged marriages, no more expectations! Just us, maybe a dragon, and the world to explore at our own pace.”
Alice smiled softly at Lovino as he reached for her hand, “Lovino…”
Lovino stood, gently pulling Alice up with him, “Come on Alice, just say the word and we go.”
“Lovino.”
His grip on her hands tightened, “Please Alice, lets just leave this all behind us! What do you have to lose? Hannah and Sam are not going to stop until your kingdom is theirs, so if we just run away they can’t complain!”
Alice’s hands tightened around his, she couldn’t meet his eyes when he was begging her so earnestly. Part of her wanted nothing more than to run away with him, but she couldn’t. She was the queen now. It was her job to die with her people if they couldn’t defeat their enemies.
“Lovi, I can’t. I want to, but I can’t. I just can’t.
Lovino roughly pulled his hands away as he shouted, “You can! If you want to, then you can! Why can’t we just be happy?! Why stay here and be miserable?!”
Alice took a slow step back, “I can’t leave my people. I can’t leave Jason or Gil or Firmi…You know I can’t.”
Lovino huffed, turning away from her, “You don’t want to.”
Alice’s hand reached for him, almost touching his arm before falling to her side, “Lovino, please.”
Her eyes stung as she watched him walk away from her. She couldn’t leave her kingdom, why couldn’t he understand! He was a king too! He should know that they couldn’t just up and leave!
“...Alice?”
She didn’t know when Gilbert arrived, but she didn’t care. He was warm, and his hug was exactly what she needed to fall into after her fight with Lovino. Could she even call it a fight?
“Let’s get you back to the castle. Kazimir and Firmino are worried sick. You can’t keep sneaking off like this. Not now.”
She numbly allowed him to guide her back, refusing to remove herself from under his arm. He didn’t try to pull his arm back either. She knew he’d let her lean on him as long as she needed. She couldn’t leave them, even if it meant her and Lovino would be at odds.

Karlemon’s Lands: Dalecar
Tumblr media
The Czardom of Dalecar forms much of the eastern frontier between human lands and those beyond, a cold and heavily forested kingdom oft besieged by the nomadic tribes of Ugurzhna by both sea and land. Ruled for centuries by the czars and their lords, the Dalecarii are a rugged and glib people, used to violence and death and a hard land. The Dalecarii society is a martial one, concerned with self-sufficiency, honourable combat and self-improvement in order to survive the harsh environment and led by the Czarina Valeriya IV Sergeyevna, the nation is a stable one, governed by a strong leader.
The six fortress cities are ruled by the lords and the four townships by their boyars, all of whom are subordinate to the rulings of the Czar or Czarina, who rules from the Blue Palace in Valdemar.
Population: circa 15 million (70% human, 10% dwarf, 7% goliath, 6% half-orc, 3% elf, 2% tiefling, 2% halfling.)
Capital City: Valdemar (ruled by House Nikolayev.)
Fortress cities: Sarnika (ruled by House Vitaliev), Zagregradt (ruled by House Yegorov), Breitenfeld (ruled by Archon Pashkinov), Griegesstadt (ruled by House Zakhorov), Kistalint (ruled by Archon Ilyasov).
Townships: Michusnovy (Rybakov), Orynezhgradt (Gasparov), Arsevsky (Zhurov) and Kyrgorod (Tsyganov)
Religion: Lydian Polytheism (72%), Church of the Four Virtues (14%), Chthonism (10%), other religions (4%).
***
In spite of its proximity to the cradles of humanity, the Kanja’s Rise mountains and the former Ynen Valley, Dalecar is a relatively new nation, conquered out of the wilderness through axe blade and iron rod. The last refugees from Kanja’s Rise after the long droughts of the early Common Era did not leave their ancestral homes lightly and when they migrated they did so into a hostile and already inhabited land. It is only through the unity of the human, humanoid and dwarven populations that the kingdom survive today.
Led by a warlord known only to history as the Lord of Iron, the last of the Kanjani, which through time became Dalecarii, fought desperately to conquer a homeland for themselves, raising the ire and grudges of long-established peoples with long memories and blades. However, despite making many enemies, they also made firm allies and friends in the dwarves of the Wyrmspine Mountains far to the north-east, who had suffered long under the harrying of the nomads. The Great Compact was signed between the then-warchief of the Dalecarii, Iskhak Izvalov and the Lord of the Wyrmspine, Sigemaer Trollborn in 337 CE, guaranteeing defensive alliance between the two polities.
It was an alliance that was and still is greatly needed, as the nomads of Ugurzhna hold grudges and territory jealously. The disparate settlements of the Dalecarii were fairly easy pickings in the early days of the territory, being low in number and less mobile than their competitors. It wasn’t until the rise of the first Czar, Beati Mikhail I Uladimovich, that the consolidation of the Dalecarii as a nation began in earnest. Said to have been blessed by the Lydian goddess Argeia for his piety and philosophy, he founded the fortress cities of Valdemar and Sarnika in 387 and 392 CE respectively to wall in the invaders of his new kingdom and crush them between two great anvils.
The Uladimovs were without exception warrior-kings, uniting the Dalecarii and over time incorporating their foes into their governance, swelling the populations greatly. This was to transmogrify over time into something of a pattern, as the life expectancy of Dalecarii tends to be lower than in other lands, so people tend to marry fairly young. This has lead to a series of young monarchs and regencies over the centuries as their parents have been killed leading troops in battle or in attacks by one of the many monstrous beasts and beastmen that still plague the eastern reaches of Dalecar.
The death of the last male Uladimov, Jaroslav II, of black fever in 499 CE was to cause a brief succession crisis as no prospective heir was immediately acceptable to the lords and boyars. A compromise was found in a break in tradition and so the first Czarina, Jaroslav’s niece Verusya I Grigorievna held the Valorous Throne, beginning the shorter-lived Grigoriev dynasty. Under their rule, the borders of Dalecar expanded to beyond the southern foothills of the Milesian mountain range and east of the Dusan River.
The Grigorievs were popular but envied, and were eventually overthrown by rebel courtiers led by Gerasim I Leonidovich, who deposed the Czar Lukyan I in 641 CE, whence the remaining Grigorievs fled into exile in the Taman Peninsula, where they remain to this day as the petty lords of the so-called Principality of Kazimir. The new faction, the Leonidovs, were on the whole unpopular with the commoners and boyars, but they kept the lords onside through wholesale bribery and gifting of privileges.
It was the Leonidovs under Nikodim II Leonidovich who faced the elvish invasion of Karlemon’s Lands in 699 CE and who is begrudgingly remembered as a cunning ruler and adept soldier, to the point where Valdemar was never taken though besieged for three years by the Grand Vizier Pelionach’s favoured apprentice Undolaeil of Lylstaesi. He is also remembered for his charitable and generous nature after the war, leading some to say he was a bastard of the dynasty and so therefore not a true Leonidov.
However, the Leonidov dynasty did not last much longer, falling victim to an outbreak of winter influenza in 898 CE that decimated much of the city of Valdemar, now known today as the Chill. There was no succession crisis this time, as the Lord Regent of Valdemar, Maksim I Sergeyevich was elected unanimously by the Dalecarii lords to Czar in 899 CE. The Sergeyev dynasty rules to this day.

See now, Tim in a Harlequin-esque arranged marriage AU works, mainly because his story is pretty much already an arranged marriage AU. Except that he doesn’t know he’s there to marry Nathaniel (but Nathaniel does). The only real difference is that in a proper arranged marriage fic, Silas would have filled his head with more lies constant reminders that he is supposed to somehow charm/seduce/woo/lead his husband. Who, while a mighty figure, is no Dirus. Then basically 300 pages of Tim learning Nathaniel is awesome, he is also awesome, and becoming khaleesi finding his mate.
The others could all do it too, of course, but they would change the trope a bit. I’ve done Zeki and Theo, and they remain adorable dorks. Cal and Ray... like, whoa. Imagine THAT fic. Warrior king in necessary alliance with a fairy, thinking he is damning himself to a life of loneliness, because though the fairy is everything he could want, obviously his fairy husband will tire of him. Ugh, Cal would *drape* Ray in kisses and flowers. Ugh.
Miki and Diego are just precious and delicate in this scenario. Best wedding night ever. David and Tulip.... a little less delicate, but no less precious. There is almost no tension in those stories. Just nerves and a bit of fear and then SO MUCH tenderness. Ah.
Kazimir is always in an arranged marriage to someone else. He is never destined for Jacob. I don’t want to talk about it.
Rennet destroys this trope actually. There is no world where he would ever be a political match for a king. He’s more of the knight sleeping with the tricksy king, who winds up married to him somehow. He’s still confused about it. Maybe, maybe, there’s a story there of someone (a mean fairy queen) offering Rennet to the upstart human John as a cruel insult, only John doesn’t get it because Rennet is amazing/he does see it, but Sunshine don’t give a fuck.
And well. Both Joe and Arthur are the village maiden offered to the dragon. Well, Arthur offers himself. But the point stands.
hmmm. oh. Oh. I can’t talk about Martin yet. Oh. Remind me later. Soft love story. Martin the nervous, frightened husband to be. oh.
Anyway. I. Obviously should be writing or something.

Name: Simon Lowell Age & Date of birth: Physically 24 years old; birthday is August 31st but the year of his birth is unknown Species: Mage Gender: Male Orientation: Gay Fandom/Original: Original character
Content warnings for murder and death
Biography: Not much is known about Simon’s previous life. His childhood is a mystery, but he was infamous in his young adulthood; he was a powerful mage who was basically a dragon-whisperer and often used his dragons and magic to coerce payments from nobility. One day, a mysterious man went to see the terrorized king of a seaside kingdom. He claimed he could kill the Dragon Prince. They arranged for Simon to come for another payment and when he entered the castle, the man shot an enchanted, frozen tipped arrow into his chest. Before he collapsed, Simon cast an experimental explosive spell that leveled the entire capital (Is this sensible? I hope so.) Upon his revival in the afterlife, he masqueraded himself as a vampire and settled in a small town to research magic and potions.
Appearance: His hair is naturally brown, so depending on the context of the story (historical fantasy versus contemporary) it will be either purple or brown. He’s ethnically Jewish and therefore has dark brown eyes and is rather dark skinned. His mage outfits are Dragon Age inspired and he used to wear a cloak covered in dragon scales.
Personality: Simon isn’t very emotive. He is pretty reserved and appears to be rather calm. He is no longer as fiery and furious as he was before his death, but his morals have not improved. He spent a lot of time alone researching history and magic, but with his recent time spent with friends (and boyfriend) he starts to warm-up to others and his uptight personality loosens into something more easygoing.
Favourite & Least Favourite things: Likes: research, history, art, dragons, and photography. Dislikes: slimy things, being dirty, invasive questions, and sports.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Simon has a wonderful memory and can recall most of what he’s read. He’s very graceful and a skilled mage. However, he has a short temper and rarely asks for help if he ever gets in over his head.  Additional notes: Simon is a part of a larger story that I’m working on. His boyfriend that I mentioned earlier has actually been posted here earlier! ( https://original-character-archives.tumblr.com/post/156172264590/name-mikhail-kazimir-kozlov-age-date-of-birth )
Fanart/fanwork is totally cool with me!
