We're back in Liverpool. One-hit wonder is wrongly used a lot but I think we can safely call The Lotus Eaters one-hit wonders in the UK. Other than their debut single First Picture Of You, which achieved getting to 15 on the UK singles chart, no other release made it above 53

The core members of The Lotus Eaters were Peter Coyle and Jeremy Kelly. Kelly had been in the Dance Party, the Wild Swans, and Systems who released the excellent single Scenery. Peter Coyle founded iffy house music label Eight Records. Eight released Sly One by Marina Van-Rooy in 1990 which is half decent and prog house favourite Love Me Boy by Whole New Dream in 1992, Peter Coyle was involved in writing both of these

According to wikipedia First Picture Of You was the most played track on BBC Radio in 1983, and that'll be why it is embedded onto my brain
