Fun fact... Astrilde is another older MCU original character. Although until now, this very moment, she resided solely in my teeny lil brain. Idk why, but when I put this prompt set together I was like, this is perfect to test her with Starlord. And so, I did.

Second fun fact. Astrilde is to Norse mythology what Cupid is to all of us, IIRC. I could be wrong here, but I do believe I remember her being the ‘goddess’ or deity of love, something akin to Cupid. If I’m wrong, soz. That’s why I chose her name. And yes.. She is another one of Odin’s ‘spoils’ of war. Like Loki, Frigga took to her, this is why she wasn’t locked away with their other sister.

Black Sabbath blasted from the kitchen area of their wing and Peter Quill raised a brow, making his way towards the sound. He leaned in the doorway, toying with the towel wrapped around his neck and he snickered to himself as he watched the blonde within the room dance around the kitchen gathering fruit, whipped cream and a generous sized jar of Nutella. Their snack of choice for the little movie night tradition they’d started about a month ago, when neither of them could sleep and both found themselves awake in the wee morning hours. He couldn’t help but smile to himself a little more as he watched her moving around the kitchen.

Just as Joan Jett began to play and the blonde in question began to sway her hips side to side and sing along, a throat cleared from behind Peter.

He turned and found himself body to body with Thor. Thor shook his head and folded his arms over his chest. “I see you’re watching her again. You do that a lot. And maybe, as her brother, I’m not fond of it.”

Peter swallowed hard, a glare forming. He scoffed and shook his head. Peter and Astrilde were just close friends, that was all.

For just a second, he paused as he reasoned with himself. She was quite literally, part goddess. And despite how far he’d come, he still had a long road ahead because the pain and the memories remained. Being around her made him happy almost instantly and it kept his mind off of all the things in his past that had gone wrong. He hoped that her being around her made her happy and a lot less homesick for the place that she and her brothers hailed from.

They were just friends and yet… Thor and Loki both seemed to enjoy breathing down his neck about her.

They did it almost daily.

Not to mention, lately… Peter couldn’t deny there was something building between the two of them. The last thing he needed was her two brothers catching wind and driving a wedge into their friendship.

Her throat cleared from behind Thor, putting the standoff between the two men to a dead halt. Thor immediately thrust out his shirt to his younger half sister. “Put it on.”

“I’m an adult, Thor. And it’s hot.” Astrilde argued, pouting up at her brother. Thor gave her a dirty look, then he tried handing the shirt to her again. Astrilde gave a soft laugh as she shook her head slowly. Icewater eyes drifted from Thor to Peter Quill and pouty lips curved upward. Her hand raised, tangling in thick waves. “Starlord, hi.”

“Oh don’t start that again.” Thor grumbled, stepping from between the two and moving into the kitchen, helping himself to a few banana slices and some white grapes. He leaned against the kitchen island, watching them like a hawk.

When Loki appeared beside Thor, Astrilde’s smile turned to a pout and she muttered something to herself that Peter couldn’t quite make out.

But then, she spoke up.

“Don’t both of you have somewhere to be right now?”

Thor and Loki shared a look, eyes shifting to their youngest sibling. Loki nodded to Peter, giving him the usual dismissive nod. “I see you’re entertaining peasants again. We’ve discussed this. To use your gift on… that man.. Is to squander it, Astrilde.”

“I repeat.. Both of you have somewhere to be. Is this correct? I love you both but you have to realize that I’m no little girl anymore. You do not have to guard me every waking moment. My virtue is mine to protect… Or to squander. ” Astrilde repeated it again, more firmly. Her eyes darted from Thor to Loki and after a few seconds, she was taking hold of each of their arms, gently leading them both towards the door. “Go on, you two. I know good and well that both of you have dates tonight. It is rude to keep a woman waiting.”

“But…” Thor protested, giving Peter some serious side eye. “You do not need to be alone with the likes of him. I can call my Jane. Perhaps we can go out another night.”

Thor got the distinct sense that his younger half sibling was up to something, she and Loki shared a certain look in their eyes whenever they were. And right now, Astrilde’s eyes were practically glowing with mischief… With something else, too. Thor didn’t even want to think about it.

“You… get whatever you came for and leave. Otherwise, you won’t enjoy the dire consequence.” Loki’s gaze flickered over Peter as he squared up. Truth be told, the writing was already there on the wall, the chips were in place and set to fall where they may. Loki enjoyed seeing his younger half sister happy. But the man was crude. And a mere mortal. His apprehension stemmed from his concern for Astrilde’s happiness. But he knew her well enough by now to know that once she made up her mind, she stopped at nothing to accomplish what she wanted.

He’d seen her bend the will of many men before.

He grumbled and under her warning gaze, he saw himself out too, catching up to Thor in the hallway.

Once they were alone in the kitchen, Astrilde took a deep breath and switched her focus. Peter was standing by the fridge now, peering into it, digging around. She slunk up behind him, pressing the icy bottled water to the back of his neck just as he straightened to full height. Peter tensed ever so slightly, a quiet hiss coming at the icy sensation against heated skin. He turned to face her, staring down as she held up the bottled water, giving him one of those mischief filled little smiles.

“I thought you’d be coming in thirsty.” Astrilde’s soft laugh filled the thickening tension and heavy silence between the two of them and Peter found himself stepping just a little closer.

Everything he’d been thinking about heavily as of late chose that exact second to flood his brain and before he could stop himself, his hand was wandering down, resting cautiously against the curve of her left hip. With his other hand, he took the bottled water, clearing his throat, brown eyes darting to the tray heaped with sliced fruit behind her on the counter and he chuckled.

“Someone was hungry.” Peter managed to get the words out while trying not to stare at her too hard. Because he was noticing all these little things about her lately… And the more he stared lately, the more he found himself drawn in deeper.

He had to stop it from happening.

But as he stood there, one thing became apparent… Did he really want to stop it, whatever this was, from happening?

No… No, he didn’t.

Astrilde shrugged mysteriously, not bothering to break his gaze when his eyes finally locked on her again. She raised a hand, toying with his chest, her other hand resting on a broad and muscular shoulder. She felt him going slack under her touch and her smile grew. “ It’s too bad that none of that is what I truly want.” she pouted at the last word.

Peter coughed, found himself stepping closer. “Oh yeah? I mean, it looks pretty good to me.” his eyes moved from the petite blonde pressed against him lightly to the tray of fruit behind her. To distract himself, he twisted the cap off the bottled water, guzzling half of it down in a hurry.

“Well, like I said. None of it is what I truly want.” her voice was this soft purr as a fingertip danced over his chest again. Peter bit his lip to stop the groan threatening to break free from his mouth. He chuckled lightly.

She had to be up to something. She was certainly in a playful mood today.

His voice took on a similar teasing tone when he stepped closer. It hit him then just how perfectly her forehead hit the center of his chest. He tried to shove that out, but it was joined with how good soft curves felt molded to his body. And he tried to shove out that thought too, but it was no use. His eyes locked on her lips, their soft almost candied apple color. He swallowed hard and took a deep breath almost immediately after. Astrilde caught on to the fact that Peter was fully unaware of exactly what she was up to, as per usual. The thought had her giggling softly, raising to tiptoe to give a playful fluff to his hair. In doing that, she made sure to mold her body almost completely against his. She heard the catching of his breath in his throat and she broke away just a shade, staring up at his mouth intently.

Did she keep going? Or did she back down?

Moving Day

Hi! I hate writing these so I am keeping it short. I procrastinated this for the last 13 days but I finally finished it! Also, @thatavengersbitch if you post about my misspelling Stark tower, you will get no Irondad.

Summary: Loki and Noelle move into Stark Tower and watch the Baby Starks.

Warnings: Idk. Swearing maybe? There are references to sex but nothing to crazy. Mostly kissing.

Moving Day

Noelle PoV:

“I think that is everything.” I say breathlessly as I drop the last box onto the floor of the bedroom.

Loki comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. Placing a kiss on my cheek and setting his chin on my shoulder, he starts to complain.“I still do not see why we cannot just share a bed chamber. I know they do not know we are courting but... well. I don’t really sleep without you.” Loki says softly.

I turn in his arms to face him and wrap my arms around his neck. “We are going to share a room. We just can’t do so publicly yet. We have to lay low for a while.” He huffs and pouts, his lower lip jutting out slightly. I laugh and press my lips to his for a moment before backing away and starting to unpack the boxes.

“Are we going to let them believe we are simply friends? I am not sure if you have noticed but you do not look at me the way you would a friend.” He asks, picking up his box of books and starting to put them in the bookcase.

I scoff, “Me?! What about you? It’s like you have suction cups for fingers!”

“Me? Initiating physical contact? Never.” He comes up behind me and growls the ‘never’ in my ear. He is close but not actually touching me. My automatic reaction is to lean into him. It isn’t until after I did it that it occurs to me that I proved his point.

He laughs triumphantly and wraps his arms around my waist, bending to kiss my neck. Before we can go any further, we are interrupted by a knock on the door. I sigh and Loki groans, releasing me. I open the door and am met by the Iron Man himself.

“Good, you aren’t busy.” He enters the living room, looking around.

“No, no. We aren't unpacking or anything.” I mutter sarcastically. Tony didn’t seem to hear me.

He rounds on me and starts talking again. “So I have a gala tonight and I remembered that you aren’t the biggest fan of crowds so I wondered if you could watch Morgan tonight. Pete is staying here, too, so he will help out. I am willing to pay you to babysit if you want.”

“I’m down. What time are you leaving?”

“About 6:30. I can drop her here but she needs to end up in her room at my place.” He adds, glancing at a text he got.

“We can chill in the lounge and carry her to her own bed.” I say. I catch a glance at who he is talking to and what the contact name is. Spiderson. “Have you adopted the kid yet?” I chuckle.

Tony’s head shoots up to glare at me. “If you must know, I just talked to his aunt about it. I am waiting for the paperwork to show up.”

“That’s fantastic, Tones!” I hug him and he willingly reciprocates. We have been working on physical affection and he has gotten a lot better about it. “Congratulations. Have you told him yet?”

“No. I am waiting for the paperwork to ask him. Don’t say anything about it yet, okay?”

“Got it. Hey! Could I take Morgan with me to the grocery store? It would be better for us to go later in the day so that we aren’t recognized as much.” I throw an arm around his shoulders.

“We normally have things delivered if you’d prefer that than going to a store. We haven’t really been going out since the news of Sokovia broke. Quite the uproar.” He pokes my ribs, trying to make me laugh through the seriousness of his statement.

“Nah. I got this. I am better at disguises than you dweebs. Sunglasses, baseball caps, and hoodies? Amateurs!”

“You can change your appearance at will!” Tony argues back.

“You can?” I hear a voice behind me and both Tony and I jump.

“By the Norns, Loki! That isn’t funny. You can’t just pop up behind me like that; you’ll hurt yourself.” I warn him, raising an eyebrow.

He laughs and teasingly pats my head. “But then I would never get any of those amusing reactions. And you didn’t answer my question, Noelle.”

I sigh, “Yes I can change my appearance at will. I practiced with Frigga after you fell from the bridge. I thought I told you this?”

“I feel as though-”

“Okay! Time out for thee and time out for thee.” Tony stops us dramatically, “Focus on issues or focus on me.”

Loki and I pause for a moment, looking at the man of Iron.

“So the kid showed me Thomas Sanders and I think he’s funny. Sue me!”

“I am using that.”

“Thanks a lot, Tony.”

“Blame the kid! Will you come with me for a bit? I need some help with things only you know the answer to.” Tony tips his head towards the door.

“Uh, sure. You keep unpacking, I will be back.” I say to Loki as I follow Tony out the door.

We head to the elevators and he pushes the button leading to his personal apartments.

“Are you sure he is safe to be around?” he asks.

I roll my eyes and sigh. “Yes. If you are worried about how he will be with Morgan, he had a son before. And from what I have seen at the garden parties, he is excellent with her age group.”

“Wasn’t his son a horse though?”

“No!” I laugh, “He was Asgardian and looked like we do. Those stories of his ‘children’ were rumours Thor made up and spread to the Midgardians that worshiped them.”

Tony chuckles. “Whatever. If you stay with him, fine. Don't leave him by himself.”

“Yeah. Okay.” He opens the door to his apartment and I am suddenly hit with the smell of pizza and the sound of a toddler playing with her future older brother.

“Hey, kiddos!” I say as I walk in.

“Auntie Elle!” Morgan cries.

“Hi, Baby Stark! How are you?” I ask, lifting the two year old up and onto my hip. She nuzzles into my neck and Peter comes over, doing the same.

“We are great! Morgan and I missed you. Have you brought Mr. Loki this time?” Peter questions lively.

“I did! He is downstairs unpacking the apartment. He is gonna be helping me watch you two tonight.”

Peter does one of those weird dances and Morgan squeals. The children have never met Loki but Peter really wants to and Morgan doesn’t really know the difference. She is too young to have prejudices against other people.

I set Morgan on her feet and watch her take off back to the table where she colours while Pete does his homework. I spot Pepper enter the room and make my way over to give her a quick hug.

“Are you settling nicely? Apartment is to your liking?” She asks me, pulling away and patting her daughter’s head.

“It’s wonderful. Thank you both for letting us move in. We really appreciate it.”

“Nonsense. You don’t need to thank us, Elle. You are family. We wouldn’t have let you live in the streets.” Tony chimes in, draping an arm around my shoulders. “Plus, free babysitting!”

“Woah, woah, woah there, Iron Man. You said you’d pay for my services.” I tease, pushing him away.

He laughs and ducks away from me, “Are you asking for compensation, Lady Darkness?”

“No,” I sigh, “But I am not totally opposed to you buying my groceries?” I cock an eyebrow at him. Pep laughs and hands me a credit card with my name on it.

“Company card. Whatever you need, we got you.”

“Thanks, Pep. I am going to go help Loki unpack the rest of our stuff. That is, unless you need me for anything else?”

“Nope. get outta here. See you in a few hours!”

I wave to the children and head back to my room.

~~~~~Le Time Skip~~~~~

Loki is sitting in a chair with a book open in his lap while I am in the common kitchen making tea for both of us. When I finish, I take him one of the mugs. He thanks me and lets his fingers linger on mine for a moment longer than necessary. I walk away before he can decide that he doesn’t care if the others know of our relationship.

As I sit on the couch and open my book, I hear the elevator doors open and the patter of two little rubber soles running as fast as they could to the couch.

“Hi!” cries the culprit of the noise.

“Hello, Morgan! Are you ready to go to the store with me?”

“Yes!”

“Okay. Let me put my shoes on and we can go.” I tell her and set her on the couch next to me.

“We will be back around one or two. Behave yourselves, don’t burn down my tower.” Tony pops his head in and sends Peter into the room.

As I lace up my combat boots, I hear Peter approach Loki. I look up to watch what the kid does.

He sticks his hand out to shake Loki’s hand. “Hi, I’m Peter!”

Loki glances at me before setting his book aside and taking Pete’s hand. “Loki of Asgard.”

Peter releases Loki’s hand and bounces on the balls of his feet. “So… are you really a… bad guy? Auntie Elle says you aren’t but you hear things.”

Loki smirks at the spiderling’s question. “Well, Peter. My villainy varies from moment to moment.”

“Okay! So on a scale from one to ten, ten being, like, killing puppies and one being ‘I’ll spit on your hotdog’, where are you right now?”

Loki chuckles and purses his lips thinking about it. “Maybe a three?”

“Cool.” Peter says happily, “Just let me know if it gets above a six okay?”

Loki nods and whispers in my mind ‘I like him.’

‘I knew you would!’ I reply. “Okay, kiddos!” I say, out loud this time. “Are we all ready to go to the store? We need to get stuff to make cookies!”

Morgan cheers and tugs my shirt to lift her up. “Before we go… Morgan, this is my very, very good friend, Loki.”

The toddler gives him a big smile and he waves at her, smiling just as wide at her. The four of us get on the elevator and take it down to the garage level and load into one of Tony’s cars. I drive because a car is not a horse and Loki doesn’t get to drive Tony’s Mercedes.

~~~~~Le Time Skip II~~~~~

After making cookies, we all sit on the couch for a while and watch Morgan’s favorite movie: Frozen. Morgan is weary of Loki at first but after he uses his magic to turn off the lights and makes a glowing golden orb appear, she is totally comfortable with him. She even tells Peter, “Issa wizard, Petey!” making all of us laugh.

As the night grew later, Morgan warmed up to Loki considerably. She actually ends up crawling over to him and leaning into him during the movie when she gets tired. She falls asleep on his chest and he carries her up to her room.

She wakes up when he sets her down and she asks him to read to her.

“Of course, smár einn. What would you like to hear?”

She grins, scrambles out of bed and over to her little white bookcase. She pulls out the book she wants and hands it to Loki.

“Goodnight Moon?” He reads the title and she nods enthusiastically. He nods and helps her back into bed. He sits beside her after she tucks herself in. “Ready?”

“Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. In the great green room; there was a telephone; and a red balloon; and a picture of; the cow jumping over; And three little bears sitting on chairs; And two little kittens; And a pair of mittens; And a little toy house; And a young mouse; And a comb and a brush and a bowl full of mush; And a quiet old lady who was whispering ‘hush’”

Baby Stark is falling asleep but is obviously trying to fight it. She keeps trying to keep her eyes open after a particularly long blink. I have to admit I feel a little sleepy myself, what with my lover reading one of my favorite stories from my childhood aloud. How could you not with a velvet voice like his?

“Good night room; Goodnight moon; Goodnight cow jumping over the moon; Goodnight light; And the red balloon; Goodnight Bears; Goodnight chairs; Goodnight Kittens; And goodnight mittens; Goodnight clocks; And goodnight socks; Goodnight little house; And goodnight mouse; Goodnight comb; And goodnight brush; Goodnight nobody; Goodnight mush; Ang goodnight to the old lady whispering ‘hush’;Goodnight stars; Goodnight air; Goodnight noises everywhere.” He finishes at a whisper. She is asleep.

“Well done.” We hear a whisper at the door. I jump slightly but Loki doesn’t react much. “She never falls asleep that fast.” Tony says, slightly begrudgingly.

“His voice is soothing to everyone. I am half asleep myself.” I nudge Tony as we all walk out to the elevator. “Have fun tonight?”

He rolls his eyes. “Tons. I am going to bed now. Thank you again.”

“Any time, Tones.” I say as the doors close and Loki and I are finally alone.

He stands relatively close to me and lets his fingers brush my own. If I wasn’t positive of the cameras in the elevator, I would kiss him right here and now.

‘I figured as much.’ He says.

‘I want my bed.’ I groan.

‘I love when you are in bed.’ He smirks. I roll my eyes and elbow him, causing more of a bruise to myself than any damage on him. He chuckles as the doors open again and we enter our apartment.

As soon as the door is closed behind us, my back is to it and his lips are on mine.

“Calm down.” I whisper against his lips when we come up for air.

“It is difficult knowing that I am in a society where touching you isn’t scandalous and not being able to because we have to keep our relationship a secret.” He growls against my throat. “I am touch-starved.”

I laugh and run my fingers through his hair. “I really am tired, Loki.” I whisper.

“Let me escort you to our chambers then, my love.” And with that, he scoops me up into his arms and carries my to the bedroom. He sets me on the bed and I start to stand up to change into pyjamas but he pushes me back down. He moves to the dresser and pulls out his black sleep pants and my flannel shorts. He throws them to me as I start peeling my clothes off my body.

“You didn’t give me a top.” I tell him. He pulls his own shirt off and hands it to me.

“Problem solved.”

I laugh and tug his shirt over my head, breathing him in. He smells like tea and old books and the forest. Like home.

Laying back, I settle against the pillows and watch him move across the rooms to catch the lightswitch. He crawls in next to me and lets me curl into his warmth.

“You are very good with her.” I whisper.

“She reminds me of Nari. Just as happy as he was.” He mutters.

I let my hand stroke his face, comforting him anyway I can. Nari dies centuries ago but the loss of a child never heals completely. “He loved you.”

“He would have loved you, as well.”

I smile. He thinks his son would have loved me.

Loki starts humming to me. It’s an old Asgardian lullaby that never fails to knock me out.

I fall asleep minutes later.

Request: heyo! idk if your requests are open but i really loved the way you wrote sweet tooth and i was hoping to request a yoongi x male idol reader. maybe they’re like out in the store or something when a fan recognizes them? something like that? i really love your writing it’s so good 😊

Description: You and Yoongi have a very warm relationship. But unfortunately, they’re forced by circumstance to keep it a secret. Outings together, dates, even trips to the grocery store mean face masks and thick jackets. But what happens when the two of you get caught where you least expect it?

It hadn’t been long since you and Yoongi started seeing each other. Just shy of five months. For normal people, that was plenty long enough to get serious. But not quite for you. Couples in the industry weren’t nearly as rare as the media thought, but nonetheless a same-sex couple was big news around your contemporaries. Nobody particularly minded, of course. Yoongi had said on numerous occasions that gender was never an issue in love, and you’d been rather vocal about your crush on him during interviews. Once word got around to your fellow idols, you’d received an outpouring of support.

But with it, came an outpouring of warnings.

You could still distinctly remember that text from Jackson.

Hey! Congratulations on your relationship! I always knew you guys had a thing for each other lol. A word of advice though, from a veteran…don’t let the fans know. Not everyone is as accepting as we are.

Of course, you understood his point. Not only was your group rather new, but you were only just gaining momentum with the public. Each new MV marked a significant increase in fans. Every comeback saw more faces in the audience, more people cheering for and supporting you.

Perhaps if you were a solo artist you’d have come out properly. Perhaps you would have held Yoongi’s hand proudly as you strolled through the grocery store, no masks, no baseball caps, no oversized clothes, no eyes scanning like surveillance cameras, ready to run at the slightest hint of movement. Perhaps you’d post all those couple pictures you had stored on your phone: you and Yoongi on a beach in Jeju, soaking in the sunlight, Yoongi sleeping on your lap, lashes dusting the apples of his cheeks, Yoongi silhouetted against the lavender sky. Perhaps you’d add a mushy caption, in both Korean and English like those trendy idols did.

But you didn’t have only yourself to worry about. Your group mates, four of the kindest and most hardworking boys you’d ever met, were relying on you too. And one public slip-up could be catastrophic for such a young group. Hadn’t you learned from what happened to E’Dawn and Pentagon? Hadn’t that served as a cautionary tale?

Nonetheless, as you held his hand and he read the back label of a cereal box, you couldn’t help the urge to just…scream it. Take the microphone from one of the cashiers and announce it over the PA system.

“I love Min Yoongi!” you’d shout, alarming middle-aged mothers and startling children as they chased one another through the candy aisle. “I love him and we’re dating!”

But instead you simply smiled and held his hand, your whole body warm beside him. Gently, you leaned into his side and he hummed a little. “What is it?” he asked, voice muffled through the mask.

You shook your head and sighed, resting your head against his shoulder. “Nothing, really.”

“Not nothing,” replied Yoongi, turning to face you seriously, your fingers still laced. His heavy brow was lowered and he watched you with what you were certain was a pout on his lips. “You’re thinking about something.”

You opened your mouth to protest before shutting it with a sigh and rolling the tip of your shoe into the linoleum, trying to find the words. “I’m just…thinking about us.”

“Us?” he asked, then pulled you closer, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “Don’t make a face like that when you think about us.”

You laughed and shook your head. “Not like that, dork,” you said, shoving the side of his head lightly and dislodging his baseball cap. Instead of picking it up, he simply stared down at you, now exposed in the middle of the grocery store. “I mean…aren’t you sick of hiding?” you asked.

He blinked at you for a moment, his brow furrowing. “We aren’t hiding,” he said, gesturing around the aisle with his free hand. “We’re out in public.”

You sighed and tugged on the top of his face mask with your finger. “What’s this then?” you asked, quirking a brow.

“It’s…a precaution,” he said, then shook his head and pulled you flush against his side, watching the rows of cereal like they held the answers. He always did that. Avoiding your eyes when he was about to say something soft. “I don’t want to put our careers in danger.”

You were quiet a moment. You’d had this conversation more times than you could count and the result was always the same. An impasse. You loved your fans, but you couldn’t quite trust them to have a good reaction. You loved each other, but you couldn’t risk your livelihood. Nothing every added up just right.

“E-excuse me?” called a small voice from beside Yoongi.

You peered out across his chest and locked eyes with a young girl, probably around middle-school age, with big brown eyes and cheeks flushed with rose. “Yes?” asked Yoongi quietly.

The girl held in her hand the black baseball cap Yoongi had dropped, her small hands clasped around the bill. She smiled gently. “Is this yours?” she asked.

Yoongi released your shoulders and bent down to retrieve his cap. You could hear the smile in his voice as he responded. “Yes,” he said, placing the hat back on his head. “Thank you for grabbing it.”

She beamed at Yoongi with the fondness of a fan and cleared her throat a little. “Um…I know this is weird, but…are you Min Yoongi?” she asked.

Yoongi’s back went rigid and he spared a look at you. Your eyes were wide and your heart was kicking up in speed with worry. If this girl knew Yoongi, she might say something about him grocery shopping with a guy. She might have even saw the two of you embracing. But…why did she look so happy?

Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck and nodded his head slowly. “Yeah…,” he said, his voice revealing his worry.

The girl clapped her hands and grinned. “I knew it!”

She laughed a little and glanced over her shoulder down the aisle. Only then did you notice another, slightly older girl lingering at the end cap by the bread. She stiffened when she noticed you staring and you thought she might run.

“Hyejin!” called the younger girl, waving her hand excitedly. “I told you! It’s Yoongi and Y/N!”

Yoongi jumped a little and turned to stare at you with round eyes. “U-uh-,” you began, but before you could say anything, the older girl was running down the aisle to join the first and both of them looked up at you as if you had stars in your eyes. “Hello,” you said with a curt bow.

The girls giggled. “You’re my favorite member!” blurted the older girl, Hyejin. She glanced between you and Yoongi and smiled brightly. “I had a feeling you two were dating.”

You stiffened and stared at her, pulling down your face mask and shaking your head. “O-oh, no, uh…we’re not! We’re just-,”

“You’re right,” said Yoongi, pulling his own face mask down to reveal a soft, knowing smile. He turned his tender eyes toward the girl and she blushed. “We’re buying ingredients for dinner tonight. Do you have any recommendations?”

The girl gaped before nodding her head furiously. “I know how to make a really good carbonara!”

The younger girl approached you with a grin, holding out her phone to you with trembling hands. “C-Could I get a picture with you?” she asked gently.

You blinked at it, then looked at Yoongi whose hand had been seized in the older girl’s grip, guiding him down the aisle toward the pasta. You then turned back to the girl and a shy smile crept across your lips. “Um…sure,” you said, taking it from her hands and bending slightly to match her height.

You took a few photos together until the girl found one she liked. “Oh! I’m Mijin by the way,” she said with a smile. “I’m a really, really huge fan! My sister too,” she said, then turned down the aisle to see Hyejin talking animatedly about pasta. She laughed. “Sorry she stole your boyfriend.”

You flushed and rubbed your hands together. Nervous habit. “Ah…s-she can have him. Nobody knows it, and he’d die if he knew I told you, but he makes super bad puns at home.”

She glanced at you slyly and gave you a smirk. “Really?”

You pinched the bridge of your nose and put on an exhausted expression, sighing. “Which country's capital has the fastest-growing population?” you asked.

She giggled. “Hm,” she began, then shook her head. “I don’t know.”

“Ireland,” you said, eyeing her. “Every day it’s Dublin.”

Mijin let out a rapturous laugh that captured her sister’s attention. The girl rushed back to us and glanced between us with narrowed eyes. “Did she tell you something embarrassing about me?” she asked.

Yoongi approached at a leisurely pace, smiling. “No! Something embarrassing about Yoongi,” said Mijin, still fighting off laughter.

Yoongi cocked a brow and crossed his arms. “Oh?”

You glanced away, scratching your jaw, and whistled a little. “I don’t know what she’s talking about.”

Yoongi flicked your forehead and the two of you chuckled. Lingering quietly beside you, the two girls exchanged loaded glances. Suddenly, you worried that you’d been too affectionate with Yoongi. Were these two not so accepting after all? Was it really just like Jackson said? You felt your stomach go cold and you watched your hands as they clasped the grocery basket, knuckles straining against your skin. You took a deep breath and mentally prepared yourself for whatever onslaught of anger you’d face.

But, to your surprise, Hyejin simply cleared her throat and rocked back and forth on her heels, a bashful flush in her cheeks. “Um…Y/N?” she asked quietly, standing close to your side.

“Yes?” you managed to choke out, your nerves suffocating.

She scratched her arm and quietly handed you her phone. “Could…could I also get a picture?”

You stiffened and glanced between Hyejin’s downcast eyes and her pale, outstretched hand. “Uh,” you began, then shook your head, returning to your senses with a smile. “Of course.”

She beamed up at you and giggled as she took her spot beside you, holding up a V sign. “Wait!” called Mijin, grabbing Yoongi by the thick sleeve of his black sweater. “Let’s get a group selfie!”

You paused for a moment as Yoongi came to stand behind you. Without saying a word, he wrapped his arms around you from the back, resting his chin on your shoulder. Your heart raced as you strained your neck to meet his smiling eyes.

“Yoongi-,” you began.

But he simply silenced you with a peck to your cheek. “Take the picture. I think it’ll turn out nice.”

Blushing, you obliged and snapped the shot, all four of you smiling in the deserted grocery store aisle. Once the photo was taken, Yoongi settled for simply holding your hand in his, your face masks still wrapped below your chins, revealing your faces in entirety.

Hyejin was about to speak when a shrill voice shouted from all around the large store. “Mijin! Hyejin! Come to the registers right now!” she shouted over the PA system.

You laughed a little, concealing it as a cough, and wondered just what would have happened if you’d followed through with your impulse to use the PA system yourself.

“Aw!” whined Mijin with a pout. “I wanted to stay longer.”

“Right now!” repeated the voice.

Hyejin and Mijin exchanged nervous looks before smiling brightly at the two of you. “We gotta go,” said Hyejin gently as Mijin began jogging in place. “Th-thank you guys for taking the pictures.”

You smiled and patted her head. “Thank you for being our fans,” you said.

She smiled. “Is…um…is it okay if I post it? All of my friends would be so excited,” she said, her eyes round and expectant.

You were about to adamantly refuse, mindful not to allow this breach to spread further, but Yoongi beat you to it. “Please do,” he said, then draped an arm over your shoulders. “And tag us.”

The girls giggled and agreed to Yoongi’s request before running off down the aisle, waving over their shoulders before disappearing. Quickly, you threw Yoongi’s arm off of you and shot him a glare.

“Min Yoongi, do you realize what you just did?” you asked.

He laughed a little, the gummy kind, and shrugged. “Is it so wrong to be proud of my boyfriend?”

You stiffened, struggling to maintain your resolve, and coughed a little, crossing your arms. “Still…what if it turns out bad?”

Yoongi laughed a little, gently cupping your face in his warm hands. “What if it doesn’t?”

The simplicity in his words disarmed you and you could do nothing but stand still, flushed, as his thumbs traced circles into your skin. Without a word, he leaned down and pressed his lips to yours. The kind you saw couples do every day. His lips were soft and gentle, and revealed the quiet intensity that made you fall for him in the first place.

You sighed into him as he slowly broke away, leaning back to give you a grin. “And besides, that Hyejin girl has a crush on you,” he said with a wink. “Gotta keep my competition in line.”

“Yoongi!” you shouted, giving his chest a big smack.

But there was no malice in it. And as you two continued shopping, masks forgotten, smiling freely, you knew that whatever was to come you could face it together. As cliche as it seemed, you knew that your feelings for each other were strong enough to withstand outside pressure. Your companies would have your heads on a silver platter. Your group mates would give you endless lectures. You may have an army of Yoongi stans checking you out and sizing you up.

But you knew one thing for sure: if Mijin and Hyejin were anything to go by, you could both trust your fans.

And more than anything, you could both trust each other to weather the consequences, whatever they may be.

First Aid (Jacob Seed X f!deputy)

Anonymous: Can I have a imagine where f!deputy need help to take a shower and Jacob help her and he secretly loves her? It can be noncon if you want

Note: The tone of this is kinda all over the place because I wrote it over the course of a week and had 2 migraines in the process. BUT I kinda like that it turned out like that? I feel like it reflects the relationship that Jacob and Rook have. Idk, either way: Enjoy!

The deputy stumbles up the stairs of the Veterans Centre, holding her injured arm tightly. Jacob follows, rolling his eyes each time she trips, though he still instinctively puts out his arm to stop her from tumbling all the way to the bottom.

She was training when it happened. She was running Jacob’s course for the umpteenth time and she knew it fairly well, but unbeknownst to her, Jacob had a surprise for her this time; a curveball in the shape of a new opponent to fight. A fellow prisoner who’d drawn the short straw. Rook had rounded the corner and an unprecedented speed – a corner that was usually empty – and the prisoner had been lying in wait for her. Grabbing Rook’s arm and twisting back with a sickening crunch, the prisoner threw Rook to the floor and began beating her until Jacob finally stepped in.

“I think it’s broken,” Rook had told Jacob, showing him her already bruising arm as the training area was cleared for the next run.

“And whose fault is that?” he’d replied, folding his arms across his chest and looking away from her as she’d burst into tears. He’d pulled her into a hug – not before checking that none of his men were watching, mind you. “It’s okay,” he’d told her, patting her on the back. “You did good.”

See, there was a much softer side to Jacob underneath that tough exterior. He was calloused; hardened by the life he’d lived and although Rook had no real idea of the horrors that Jacob had experienced in his 47 years, she knew that with enough care and treatment, those calluses could be softened.

Reaching the top of the staircase, Rook turns to make sure Jacob is still following.

“I’m still here,” Jacob assures her. “Through there,” he adds, pointing her towards the open door of a bathroom.

She enters the bathroom and stands in the centre of the room, tugging at the bandage on her arm.

“Don’t play with it,” Jacob tells her. “I ain’t changin’ it for you if it falls off.” He walks over to a cabinet and pulls out a raggedy, old towel.

“It’s not helping anyway,” Rook sighs, watching him. “I need painkillers.”

Jacob throws the towel at her and Rook instinctively raises her arms to catch it, crying out in pain as she does so.

“I already told you: painkillers dull your senses. If you’re strong, you’ll pull through without them.”

“It still feels broken,” she states.

“Well the doc said it ain’t, so it ain’t.”

Rook huffs and looks away, folding her arms. Jacob steps forward and holds her chin between his thumb and his forefinger, turning her head to face him. “You trust me, right?” he asks. “Have I ever steered you wrong?”

Rook sighs. “No, Jacob,” she says, reluctantly.

“Exactly. It’ll be healed in a few days and you’ll be trainin’ again before you know it.”

Rook holds back the urge to roll her eyes. You’ll be trainin’ again before you know it, she repeats in her head. As if she wanted to be trained in the first place. She’s been at the Veterans Centre for so long, she often forgets that she’s here as a prisoner. She’s almost certain she’s developing Stockholm Syndrome, but that’s a problem for another day.

“Now, get those off and get in the damn shower,” Jacob finishes, nodding at her clothes.

Rook looks down briefly before offering Jacob a weak smile. “I, uh… I can’t take them off by myself,” she says, gesturing towards her arm.

Jacob rolls his eyes and grabs her sweatpants, yanking them down – along with her underwear – rather roughly.

“Oh, wow, okay then,” Rook mutters. “Y’know, you could be a little gentler.”

Jacob looks up at her as he crouches at her feet and Rook steps out of her sweatpants and kicks them across the floor.

“What’ve I told you about keepin’ things neat?” Jacob scolds her, moving to pick up the sweatpants and folding them neatly.

“Yeah… Sorry.” Rook awkwardly pulls her shirt over her head with one arm, keeping the injured one close to her chest. As she wriggles and squirms inside the fabric, Jacob’s eyes fall upon the bruised skin that spans from Rook’s hip to the top of her ribs. She’d suffered 2 broken ribs, a sprained arm, and various other cuts and bruises as a result of the beating, and Jacob can’t help but take pity on her as she struggles in front of him, feeling responsible for her suffering.

“Here,” Jacob sighs, helping her pull her other arm out of the shirt and pulling it off over her head, revealing a very flustered deputy with strands of hair going in all the wrong directions.

She now stands completely naked in front of Jacob and although he’s seen her naked once or twice before, she can’t help but feel tiny and weak. She hugs herself as Jacob turns the shower on and heads for the door.

“Wait, where you going?” she asks.

“I’m goin’ for a coffee, why?”

Rook looks at the shower and then back at Jacob. “I can’t… I mean, how am I gonna do everything?”

It takes Jacob a few beats to realise what she’s asking of him. “You want me to help you shower?” he asks, as if it’s the craziest thing someone has ever proposed to him.

“Well… yeah,” Rook replies.

“You know you’re gonna have to do things for yourself at some point, right?”

“Yeah, of course… just not today,” she chirps, sweetly.

Rook can tell Jacob is stifling a smile as he closes the door again and locks it before making his way towards her. She steps into the shower and eases herself into the stream of hot water that pours from the rusty, old showerhead. “Ow, Jesus, that’s hot,” she mutters, turning to Jacob. He’s already pulled his shirt off and is now unzipping his jeans. That’s pretty hot, too, she thinks. “You’re getting naked, too?”

“What, you thought I was gonna get in the shower with all my clothes on?”

“Good point,” Rook shrugs, trying to peel her eyes away from Jacob’s chest. He’s littered with scars – old ones and fresh ones, alike – and he has a wide array of bruises to compliment them. She watches as he drops his jeans, revealing his legs to be covered in a similar variety of old injuries. Jacob looks up, his eyes meeting hers, and she looks away; staring at the tiled wall in front of her as Jacob steps into the shower.

“Okay, whaddya want me to do first?” Jacob asks, standing so close behind Rook that she can feel the body heat radiating from him.

“I usually wash – I usually wash my hair first,” she says, awkwardly clearing her throat halfway through saying it.

“Alright. Hair it is, then.”

Jacob cups his hands, gathering water in them and gently pouring it over Rook’s hair. He slicks her hair back and smoothes it down, carefully brushing it out of her face and pulling it all toward him. He reaches down and grabs a bottle of shampoo, squirting some into his hand and rubbing it into her hair. Rook leans into his touch, tilting her head back and enjoying the sensation of someone running their fingers across her scalp. “That feels so damn good,” she says. She hadn’t meant to say it out loud and she blushes immediately.

“I’m not too rough?” he asks, his voice reflecting his surprise.

“No, no, it’s perfect,” she tells him.

Jacob washes the bubbles from her hair so carefully, you’d think he was washing a newborn baby. As he bends down to close the cap of the shampoo bottle, it slips and falls to the floor with a clatter. Rook reaches for it with her injured arm, wincing at the pain.

“Don’t. I’ll get it,” Jacob insists, bending down for the bottle. Rook turns around to face him, and as he stands straight again, the two of them find themselves incredibly close to one another. Rook stands there, look up at Jacob; the water pouring over her face and dripping from her eyelashes.

“I’m sorry I let you down today, Jake,” she sighs.

In an act of compassion that seemingly came from nowhere, Jacob pulls her forward and plants a kiss on her forehead. “You didn’t,” he tells her, swiping his thumb across her bottom lip. “I put that prisoner in there to throw you off. I pushed you to do too much. I backed you into a corner and I shouldn’t have.”

Rook looks up at him. Her vision is blurred from the water dripping from her lashes, and in the spur of the moment, she stands on her tiptoes and kisses him.

She pulls away from the kiss. “Oh, God… I… Wow, I really shouldn’t have done that.”

“It’s okay,” Jacob assures her.

“No, it’s not. I mean, you’re… you… and I’m – oh, God, I’m such a –”

Jacob moves in for another kiss and for a few painful moments, Rook thinks he may be doing it out of pity, but as he places his hands on her hips and pulls her closer, the fog of doubt is cleared from her mind.

She raises her hands and settles them on the back of his neck. The kiss quickly escalates from gentle to passionate; slow to fast-paced. As they kiss, Rook feels Jacob hardening against her lower stomach and she smiles into the kiss.

Jacob takes the lead – as he tends to do in all areas of his life – and spins Rook around to face the wall. She rests her hands against the tiles, letting the wall support her as she bends over.

“You sure you wanna do this?” Jacob asks, leaning forward and purring the question into her ear. His voice is like butter and it sends tingles across Rook’s skin.

“Yeah,” she nods. “Now hurry up before the water runs cold.”

He slides into her, earning a soft moan from Rook. Despite her order to hurry, Jacob takes it nice and slow, savouring the moment and the feeling of her wrapped tightly around the most sensitive part of him. He wasn’t used to being sensual and he found it rather intimidating, but this was a special occasion. The Deputy, with all her capability and independence and strength, was now bent over in front of him, moaning and whimpering as he fucks her agonisingly slowly. This moment had been a long time coming and he gave himself the credit for it. If not for his conditioning, she’d likely still be out there, causing trouble for him and ruining his younger brothers plans.

But now look at her; she belongs to him, now.

Rook reaches back with one hand, grabbing hold of Jacob’s hip and trying to make him go faster. As much as she begs for him to speed up, she has to admit that she enjoys the desperation and the neediness that Jacob has instilled in her. Maybe this was his plan all along: to get her to abandon all of her morals and allegiance to the resistance. To need him as though he were her means to survival. And oh boy, does she need him.

“Please, Jake,” she pleads. “Please go faster.”

Jacob leans forward again. “You want me to go faster?” he asks. “You want me to fuck you like an animal?”

She nods quickly. “Y-yes. Please…”

“And why should I? What’ve you done to earn it?”

“I – I don’t…” Rook stutters, her head swimming. “I don’t know.”

“You don’t know?”

“I – fuck.” Rook presses her forehead against the cold tiles. “I’ve been good, Jake. I’ve been a good girl.”

Jacob smiles widely. “That’s right, you have,” he says, smoothing Rook’s hair. “Okay then, I guess you earned it.”

Jacob speeds up, pounding into Rook hard and unapologetically. This was more his forte. Jacob was always much better at rough than he was at sensual.

“Fuck, Jake,” Rook gasps.

“You asked for it, sweetheart,” he tells her. “I coulda carried on takin’ it easy, but no. That ain’t good enough for my little princess, is it?” he grunts.

My little princess. The words drive Rook wild. She stands up straight and Jacob wraps his arms around her middle. She’s tiny compared to him and his arms could wrap around her twice if they were bendy enough.

He buries his face in her neck, kissing and biting at the softest skin he’s ever known. Then, a thought hits him and he’s already verbalised it before he’s had a chance to register it himself.

“I love you so fuckin’ much,” he pants, the words muffled by Rook’s neck.

Rook grabs hold of Jacob’s hands – which still lay across her tummy – and rests her head against his. “I love you, too, “ she confesses, quietly whispering the words as if the resistance could hear them if she spoke too loudly. She can feel Jacob smiling against the crook of her neck, which makes her smile in turn.

As Jacob hugs tighter, something in Rook’s gut begins to flutter. Her legs begin to wobble and she finds it difficult to remain standing. “I think… I think I –“

Jacob holds onto Rook, keeping her from falling. She climaxes, clutching at Jacob’s hands and squeezing them as she goes dizzy. Jacob chuckles in her ear, enjoying the sight of Rook convulsing beneath his embrace.

“Atta girl, atta girl,” he praises, slowing his movements and trailing more kisses down her neck. He slowly reaches his own orgasm soon after, rocking his hips slowly and smoothly until he spills into a worn out Rook, who now leans forward against the wall with her eyes closed.

“Fuck me,” Jacob pants, pulling out and watching his cum drip from her folds and into the drain.

Rook stands up straight and turns around to face him. “I should injure myself more often if this is your idea of first aid,” she says, smiling up at him with tired eyes and rosy red cheeks.

“How’s the pain?” he asks, pushing her soaking wet hair out of her face.

“What pain?” she smiles.

“See; painkillers are overrated.”

As Jacob plants a kiss on Rook’s forehead, the shower begins to spit and judder.

“That’s not a good sign…” Rook states, watching the shower head as it shakes and rumbles.

“Yeah, we should – ah fuck!”

The shower rains freezing cold water down on them, sending them both leaping out of the cubical.

“F – fuckin’ A, I – I told you that’d happen,” Rook breathes, standing in the middle of the room in shock.

Jacob laughs, shaking his hair dry and spraying the room with water in the process. “Here,” he says, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around Rook’s shoulders as she shivers. He grabs another towel, wrapping it around himself. “Maybe next time we should stick to a bedroom; y’know, somewhere we won’t catch hypothermia.”

“It’s cute that you think there’s gonna be a next time,” Rook says.

“It’s cute that you think there won’t be,” Jacob smirks.

Rook laughs – a loud and genuine laugh – and Jacob’s heart flutters in his chest. He watches her with a grin that resembles the Cheshire Cat. “I meant what I said, y’know,” he says, looking down at his feet, still smiling.

“Yeah,” Rook says, stepping closer to him and tugging on his towel to pull him down to her height. “So did I,” she smiles, planting a peck on his lips.

(for the record: you may consider all of this as canon to Run Away Home, and I will tag it as such, but you may also adopt these for your own use if you wish! lmk though, I’d love to know which ones y’all like!)

in RAH I’ve been headcanoning David as coming from Hamilton for simplicity’s sake - it’s where I live. let’s go deeper: when I was six my town and in fact the whole county of Flamborough was amalgamated into the city of Hamilton. much of Flamborough remains relatively rural. so:

David’s mom lives in a nice suburb somewhere and he grew up there on the edge between urban and rural areas, knowing people from both (okay so this is just my life shut up)

His grandmother and grandfather, though, owned a small farm out in the more rural area and he spent a lot of time there as a kid, especially in the summers.

he went to college at Mohawk and got an apartment in the city… this is truly just my RAH-specific background but here we are so why not share

He loves Hamilton’s art community and its nature and parks and many many waterfalls

He LOVES to go camping wherever he can, with a special fondness for Banff and Algonquin

like 80% of us, he got his first job at Tim Hortons. Unlike 80% of us, he did not utterly hate it and can even still eat the food.

he grew up watching a lot of American TV/consuming American media, like the rest of us, but he also loved the fundamental Canadian stuff - Fred Penner’s Place and Crazy Quilt and Mr. Dressup and Big Comfy Couch were all major childhood staples alongside things like Mr. Rogers. Like all of us, he cried when Mr. Dressup passed away and still has weird random memories of Nanalan’ that he doesn’t think he could explain if he tried. He owned all of Fred Penner’s albums as a kid and will still buy new ones, and see him live any chance he gets, because Fred Penner is a national treasure. (He has tried teaching Fred Penner songs at camp, but for some reason the kids never seem to be into it.)

when he outgrew little-kids’ TV he still watched a lot of Teletoon and Family Channel stuff. He’s seen all of 6Teen.

his coffee order is a double double (two creams, two sugars).

he unironically dresses like a Canadian pretty often - flannels and the good ol’ Canadian tuxedo (denim jacket worn with jeans) are totally normal to his wardrobe.

he learned to drive a tractor before a car.

Gwen is surprised and delighted when he tells her he’s been drinking since he was nineteen, and then she’s disappointed when he points out that’s legal drinking age in Ontario.

he normally drinks ciders (not especially Canadian but just my hc lol), but he does like a good Caesar or Canadian whiskey (he just calls it rye).

also: he learned how to open two capped bottles with each other’s necks (no bottle opener) at a bush party once. he likes that this information shocks Gwen and decides not to tell her that he ended up there because he absolutely misunderstood what a ‘bush party’ entailed.

(admittedly all of these drinking headcanons come out of a fic I started and haven’t gotten around to finishing. idk when I will so I’ll go ahead and share here)

he doesn’t love winter but it takes at least 40 cm (~16 in) of snow and/or a windchill of -30°C (-22°F) or lower to stop him from going about his day.

as I noted in that other post, he loves Letterkenny because it’s just so damn accurate - he’s known so many people like the characters in the show! It’s definitely cruder than he’d like and he’d die of embarrassment if the campers or someone found out how much he loves it, but it’s just so funny. (what he doesn’t realise is that no one at Camp Campbell would be able to make full sense of the show.)

he also loves a good Rick Mercer Rant

he’s enjoyed his fair share of Corner Gas, and some Trailer Park Boys, too.

He loves Murdoch Mysteries and got a kick out of Republic of Doyle as well.

He’s read all of the Anne of Green Gables books and grew up watching the cartoon often. He still gets emotional when he thinks too much about Anne and Gilbert.

Canadian music, MY DUDES. He loves the Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea and anything involving Alan Doyle, the Arkells (he’s from Hamilton, it’s basically required), Lights, Alanis Morissette, The Tragically Hip, I could go on….

like literally the rest of the country, he watched the televised final concert of the Hip - it was in August 2016, so he was still at camp and had to watch an online stream that wavered in quality, and then he watched a recording again when he got back home - and cried his eyes out at the end.

He’s been to every province at least briefly, but never to the territories - they’re next on his travel list. Canada is huge and beautiful and he wants to see as much of it as he can!

he speaks pretty decent conversational French, but gets really nervous when he messes up or forgets a word, and the more nervous he is the worse he gets. it snowballs and often ends in him panicking.

he’s a very, very bad skater and absolutely useless at hockey. he’s okay at lacrosse and downhill skiing. he can handle cross-country skiing or snowshoeing pretty well, though!

and he spent every winter tobogganing down local hills. okay, he still spends every winter tobogganing down local hills, even after it was outlawed. no one pays attention to that law.

he LOVES maple syrup. and maple taffy. and maple cookies. and everything else maple. he and his mom have been tapping the trees on her property every year for as long as he can remember.

he wouldn’t tell you he cares much about sports, but if you insult the Leafs, the Blue Jays, the Argos, the Habs, or the Ti-Cats, he gets suddenly and irrationally defensive. he barely follows the games so he doesn’t even know why he gets so defensive.

(if pushed, Ti-Cats over Argos, and Leafs over Habs, even though being a Leafs fan is outrageously depressing.)

He would probably take a bullet for Wayne Gretzky. Again, he doesn’t know why. He just would.

On the note of Gretzky: you know the little cheers that kids add to the lyrics of ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’? After the line “you’ll go down in history,” many American kids add “like George Washington!” Like other Canadian kids, David says, “like Wayne Gretzky!”

He has been known to compulsively start singing “Don’t you put it in your mouth” when trying to stop campers from putting shit in their mouths.

He has also been known to remind kids to “stay alert, stay safe!”

He also still wants a house hippo. Damn it. We all still want a house hippo…

in general he makes a lot of references to Canadian ads that we all remember vividly but no one outside of the country knows about. “MoooOOOM, Aidan cut me in HALF again!”

if presented with enough rocks he will just start building inukshuks. sometimes he does this at camp and the kids wonder what the fuck these weird rock structures are.

his wallet is still full of Canadian Tire money. they have points cards now. and yet he can still never get rid of the Canadian Tire money. it is eternal

he has a rim roller on his keychain. once Max asked what it was and David only sighed deeply. “another free coffee…” he said distantly

he, like most of us, has a very love-hate relationship with Toronto.

he calls it T.O. or T-dot, usually.

one time he was talking to an American who goes to Toronto sometimes for business, and they made a passing comment about Union Station. David’s eye began to twitch.

He learned to drop his ‘eh’s while in the states when he was still a camper, because other campers used to make jokes about it sometimes. they slide right back into his vocabulary the moment he gets home.

he still pronounces ‘roof’ in a way that strikes the kids as weird, and still uses Canadian spellings most of the time - colour instead of color, grey instead of gray, etc.

the boy loves ketchup chips. and all-dressed chips. and poutine. and back bacon. and aero bars, and kinder eggs, and actual smarties. I could go on.

I just scrolled up and saw how long this list has gotten so I… I will stop. but oh my god, I could go on forever, probably. Canadian David is good shit. I will be your Canadian David consultant if you want.

As for the combinations, we usually have two options. Recieving the same, in order to empower ourselves, or get the lack, in order to balance. But i strongly believe, that we meet the ones, we need to learn a lesson from.

OK THIS WILL BE REALLY WEIRD BUT IDK as long as i enjoy its finee 👑

Okay, so Madara is an earth/fire type. Dominant is earth, mostly Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) ,making his life shitty. If he wants to empower, he would need a Venus or Plutonian type. Taurus (Venus type) would be perfect for his Capricorn, and Libra (second Venus type) would be amazing for the Leo within him. Capricorn and Taurus would make the power/hardworking couple, where as the Libra would spoil/owe and delight the Leo. Both combinations are good, because when they work (Capricorn+Taurus), the Capricorn would feel useful and the Libra partner would honor the Leo, which would boost his ego/confidance. After all, Capricorn and Leo(Madara) are mostly about image and being represented in a good light. As for the Virgo, the last earth signs im mentioning, would be good option for the Capricorn and his Venus.

As for the Plutonian type (Scorpio (and im typing Plutonian, eventhough Scorp is being ruled by Mars too-Aries, the first Mars ruler, wouldn’t be suitable for the Capricorn, due to too many horns/stubborness)), would be good option, i think even better (no wonder why he would get along with Hashirama since he is a Scorpio). The Scorpio would give that intensity and water the earth within him, but would face a bit more tensity with the Leo. Capricorn and Scorpio are one of the most strong couples along the zodiac and, personally, it’s my favourite.

If he want’s to balance, he lacks of the dreamy water- a Neptune type (Pisces). It would be interesting to balance such relationship, because the responsible and realistic Capricorn can pull out the Pisces into the reality (which they find kinda hard to deal with). The opposite is, when Pisces drowns the Capricorn into illusion and dremy worlds. Such game of pulling the rope would be really fascinating. If they manage to balance, it would be like the Sky and Earth itself, a grand new world to be discovered. What is more interesting, that the fate of Saturn can be crushed only by the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) and be opposed, like 50/50, by Jupiter (Sagittarius). Uranian type (Aquarius) might be a bit too unusual for the Capricorn&Leo (even if Leo&Aqua are from the same coin, yet opposites). Madara has no air, and as the last air sing, Aquarius (if we add up and that it’s higher vibration compared to Saturn), would make him balanced, eventhough hard. The Jupiter (Sagittarius) would be alright with Leo (since both are fire), but hard to deal with the Capricorn (since Sag wants adventure/traveling and Cap-work/home-staying).

Left behind is Pluto, the last outer planet. And to sum up, Scorpio would be most appealing, both to empower and balance.

As for Izuna, i don’t know too much, neither i can guess. The only thing we know is that he’s an Aquarius. Same goes and for Shishui. A Libra, that has something Sagittariuish in him, combined with Cancer/Taurus since he’s willing to die for the clan.

Itachi is kinda balanced. The only thing he lacks of is fire. But in this case, he’s really easy to be dealth with. All he needs is a Leo. If he wants to empower, he’d need a Sun type (Leo) or a Venus type (Libra/ Taurus), combined with Mercury (Virgo (He is Mercury himself, but as a Gemini)). The Leo would deal kinda good with Gemini&Cancer within him. He has already got a Taurus, so it would be alright for a Venusian Taurus to deal with. Libra would be fine too, since it’s an air, and he has already got 2 airs within him… what is more, the Taurus in him is a Venus type, so is and Libra. As for the Virgo, it would fit perfectly with those Cancers&Tauruses, with the Mercury type (Gemini&Virgo), and with his analytic moon in Aquarius.

As for balancing, he really needs some more agression/some passion. Which we find in the Marian type (Aries). He needs to get rid of this melanchony and non self-expressing, with the firy/childish Aries. He’d learn to be a bit more egoistic, but in a pure/kind way.

Overall, i think Leo is perfect. Both empower and balance (no wonder why he treasures Sasuke so much. He is a Leo and being with him/communicating, finds it as if he’s filling the missing parts/balancing/completing himself). Leo is fire just as Aries, but a bit more smooth&wears that lion pride around himself. Perfect combination for his Mercury&Venus in Cancer+ Gemini sun.

Okay, and here comes the hard part. Sasuke brings so much intensity in himself, and should watch out a lot. (Communicating and having as a partner other tense signs would make everything even shittier). In order to empower, he’d need another Saturn type (eventho the accumulation of Saturns, when being not used in the right way, can turn your life into hell). His rising being Capricorn, and having those stingy Scorpions, would deal with Capricorn really well. But even better is the Neptunian type (Pisces), because by it, Capricorn would get watered enough, the watery Scorpio in him wouldn’t let him drown into the dreamy/illusionary Pisces world and for the Leo it would be kinda artistic. Virgo is alright too, for both Capricorn&Scorpio. Cancer is an option too, because Leo&Cancer are loving/caring and Scorpio&Cancer are both water, understanding the debth of the world.

Balancing, he needs air (that triangle down there is the sing of air sings). He is stubborn/sees only his side of the story. Any air sing would be prefect, but Libra is appealing the most. Gemini would annoy the Capricorn&Scorpio by too much talking&information, the Aquarius is too stubborn&weird too, so Libra is alright. Jupiter type (Sagittarius) would balance him too, fighting with the fate of Saturn. It’s interesting that Naruto is Libra and he should have something of Sagittarius in himself, since he’d always so cheerful. Sasuke has all those introvert signs,where as Naruto is introvert. No wonder why in the manga one is Ying and another Yang.

But to empower and balanace, i think he should not deal with any fixed sign ( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius). For Sasuke there are many options, just has to avoid those stubborn/fixed zodiacs and any intense one (Marsian: Scorpio+Aries). But i think Lunar type (Cancer)&Saturnian type (Capricorn) win the battle. Why not a Neptunian type (Pisces) too? (Just to mention Pisces and Libra are parallel. Venusian Libra is lower frequency of Neptunian Pisces).
