7th Annual Christmas Day Stream (2023)!!

1- When did you start playing Choices? What's the first book you played?

I started playing back in 2018. I kept seeing this thing called “playchoices” trending as number 1 on Tumblr (lol remember those days?). This would happen, without fail, almost every week! When I clicked on it, the posts were all about the finale of a royal story (The Royal Romance!). People made the most hilarious posts, complete with memes. I had no idea what it was, but I gathered it was an app. I downloaded it, and the rest is history.

The first book I played was Desire and Decorum. It was absolute torture because it wasn’t completed yet. So I binged the available chapters. Yes, I spent real money on keys and diamonds, telling myself at least I wasn't spending that money on drugs. It was so much fun waiting for a new chapter every week, even if I’m an impatient mess.

2- When and why did you join Choices fandom?

I joined the fandom almost immediately after downloading the app.

As I sat in my living room, tapping my foot and waiting for the new D&D chapter to drop, I went back into the playchoices tag for content. It felt good to find other people who loved the story as much as I did. There were other users out there who were also waiting impatiently for the new chapter, writing fics and discussing theories in the meantime. There were also some of the funniest memes I have ever seen in my life. At first, I would quietly read and reblog. Then, I slowly started posting my own thoughts and theories (which were not very good lol but hey, this is tumblr after all).

3- How did you pick your url name?

My life is one hyperfixation after another… The one before Choices was Harry Potter. More specifically, the Marauders era. I used to write for the pairing called “Jily”, composed of Harry Potter’s (dead) parents. Kelsey (@takeharryandgo) is a witness of just how much I love James Potter, Harry’s (dead) dad. In fact, our shared love for the pairing and character is one of the things that brought us together.

In short, this URL is a reference to James Potter the first, Harry’s (dead) dad. Not James Sirius Potter the second, Harry Potter’s (living?) son.

I saved it as a sideblog, meant only for writing resources for me to use at a later time. One day, I decided I didn’t want the followers on my main page to see all the Choices spam I was posting, so I resurrected the JP blog.

5- How long have you been writing fanfiction?

I’ve been writing fanfiction since I was a literal child. I used to write in a notebook and my friends would read during recess. It was awful but they were into it. One day, I used up the whole notebook and my friend was desperate for the next part of the story. I told her I needed to wait until my mom took me to the store (literal child) to get a new one. My friend got me a new one by the end of the day lol.

TL;DR that puts me at about 20+ years of writing.

6- What is your favorite Choices book to write about?

Without a doubt, Open Heart!

7- Share the first fanfic you wrote with us. Do you still like it or would you change anything about it?

Oh god, the first fanfic I wrote was Lily Evans and James Potter from the Harry Potter universe. I forgot the exact title, but it was named after an Avril Lavigne lyric. Again, I was a child, don’t judge me lol. It’s handwritten in a notebook I still have somewhere, but I will never open it again lest I die of cringe.

My first Choices fic, on the other hand, was a Desire and Decorum fic called “A Wedding Gift” that only like 5 people read at the time.

8- What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Oof. This answer changes depending on the day you ask me. I always overthink it and end up saying picking a favorite fic is like picking a favorite child. To avoid being here all day, however, I’m going to say: Fake Husband, She Walks in Beauty, and Lovely.

9- Do you have a fic that you didn’t expect to be well received, but it was? What about one you expected to be but could use a little more love?

Definitely, the fic I didn’t expect to do well at all if my first Open Heart fic: Lovely.

I was so naive back then, knowing nothing about the Open Heart writing fandom. I had no idea what format or tags to use when posting. I was afraid there would be no readers out there who wanted to read a silly little story about my MC posting a thirst trap. All I knew was that the latest chapter of Open Heart Year 2 inspired an idea that wouldn’t leave me alone until I wrote it.

I posted it and I was so incredibly lucky to receive so much support. Words cannot explain how special that was. To this day, I cannot verbalize how grateful I am for that.

There isn’t really a fic I can think of that could use more love. It always amazes me that anyone gives my fics their time. So any feedback my fics get will always be valued and treasured by me.

10- If you could write only angst, fluff, or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

Oh no.

If forced to choose, I’d say fluff.

11- Do you ever recognize yourself in any of your MCs or in your writing?

Absolutely! While I try to make every MC different, I often pull from experience when I write. My Open Heart MC and I have a lot of things in common (heritage, hometown, astrological sign, etc.) But I also wanted her to be her own character with life choices that are different from mine. Since I'm very boring, it definitely makes for better fiction that way.

12- What element of writing do you struggle with most?

It depends on the day. Some days I struggle the most with dialogue. Others, my biggest struggle is descriptions. It's rare when I feel confident in both when I write.

13- Do you have any neglected work you really want to finish?

*laughs nervously in unfinished series*

There are a few series I have yet to finish. Once again, I apologize for leaving them untouched for so long! I plan to get my shit together soon!

14- If someone you know in real life (who isn’t involved in fandoms) asked to read your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you recommend they read first?

No!

I don't think I could look anyone in the eye if they read some of the stuff I've written, especially for Choices.

15 - Are there any writers (published authors and/or fanfic writers) who influenced your writing?

I strongly believe that one of the best ways to learn as a writer is reading. As such, I believe I've learned from most pieces I've read, particularly published rom com novels. In the fanfiction world, I admire my lovely friend @takeharryandgo. I've had the absolute joy of following her writing for over a decade. And with every work, I am still amazed by her masterful way with words! And her characterization is always spot-on. I simply love to read her spellbinding work and learn from the master!

Other writers/creators I admire are:

@heauxplesslydevoted- one of the first OH writers I've ever read! Her smut is top-tier!

@jerzwriter - her stories, dialogue, and characterization are a delight to read. Her angst is painful. Her smut is sizzling hot!

@liaromancewriter - a true master at romance! Her writing style is magical and synonymous with the best of rom-coms!

@genevievemd - I bow down because the amount of love and care she puts into every piece truly makes her work special!

@lucy-268 - I have always respected the amount of research she puts into every piece. She pours so much care into it so that the narrative flows seamlessly!

@a-crepusculo - her writing is so vivid and immersive. Reading her work is like listening to the most beautiful of symphonies!

@writer-ish - she is such a master at the craft! Her characterization is so vivid that the reader will fall in love no matter the format. Her text edits are legendary!

@bex-la-get - such a talented and dedicated writer! She also pours hours of research into her work, ensuring every detail makes sense!

@potionsprefect - she's such a creative and talented writer. She develops writing ideas like no one else I've ever seen!

@headoverheelsforramsey- I love her storytelling and characterization! She's created a beautiful, inspiring, and intelligent MC for all of us to adore!

@gryffindordaughterofathena - her writing style is one of the most original I've ever seen. Reading her work feels like reading the loveliest of poetry!

@coffeeheartaddict2- the dedication she puts into her work blows me away! She's daring when exploring themes in her writing, and she's not afraid to pull from personal experience.

@lsvdw-blog - the person I'm sending my therapy bill to. Just kidding! Her writing is beautiful, even when it's the most painful angst.

@trappedinfanfiction - she is such a lovely writer. The amount of detail she's given both of her MC's back stories has my absolute respect!

@quixoticdreamer16 - I adore her MC and the wholesome, beautiful background she's given her!

@mysticalgalaxysstuff - Another MC that has stolen my heart. I am so happy she started writing this past year because she's a real talent!

@peonierose - love her beautiful MC and the beautiful love story she built for her with Bryce!

@cariantha - a brilliant writer with talent for days!

16- Which one of your stories would you most like to see as a movie/series?

I would love to see She Walks in Beauty along with its series (1800s AU) in live action. Imagine Ana de Armas and David Gandy in period costumes? That alone would be worth it!

17- Do you write original stories?

I've crafted and outlined original stories before but I've never actually written them. One of my biggest goals for the new year is to finally start. Wish me luck!

18 - What other hobbies do you have?

I love reading, hiking, and dancing!

Yes, I picked the most “impressive” of my hobbies to seem cool. On most days, you'll catch me cuddling with my dog or bf watching YouTube/TikTok/Hell's Kitchen reruns lol.

19 - What’s your favorite emoji?

I used the orange 🧡 and purple 💜 hearts a lot because they're my favorite colors!

hiiii thank you @avi-why for tagging me this game seems so fun :D

1. is there a common piece of writing advice that you disagree with? alternatively, is there one you think (generally) most people should follow?

oooooh okay! generally i dislike any hard absolutes like "don't use adverbs ever" because i mean. no piece of advice like that will ever be universal and it's important to consider what Your Piece of writing needs rather than trying to fit a set of ~arbitrary guidelines~

as for advice i think works, i think consistency in writing will always be key to improvement. i like. very heavily stagnated in actual writing after covid (i was like. good lord i was 15 then. wild) because i got bogged down trying to make my book Perfect. and i think if i had actually written more during that time i would be a much better writer now! more writing = more improvement and practice makes pretty damn close to perfect etc etc

2. you can have dinner with any author, living or dead. but the catch is that after the dinner, you and that author will team up against a third writer in a no holds barred cage match throwdown. which 2 authors do you pick?

OOOOH ok. i'm currently very enamored with andrew joseph white and lee mandelo's writing because they both write GORGEOUS prose so maybe one of them? OOO or r.f. kuang . i think tolstoy should get got in the cage match. cry old man

3. have you ever experimented with poetry, plays, or screenwriting? what was the result?

i do want to experiment more with poetry though!!! that's one medium i haven't really dipped my toes into so to speak

4. what type of rancid twitter discourse would your current wip generate?

oh god what discourse WOULDN'T rr spark. i definitely think having an aroace mc weaponize someone else's attraction to him is probably um. discourse worthy. my top fear is that someone unironically ships lahar (romance and sex repulsed aroace) with anthony (horrible white savior who has no semblance of self) some other notable things that happen in the book:

diversity loss the capitalist kendall roy ass character (anthony) is gay

people of color get to KILL

ruh roh! tragedy :(

horrible horrible body augmentations with dangerous and ableist implications

so much murder. so much assassination. god bless

5. what author would you love to be compared to? what author would you hate to be compared to?

OOOOOOH . uhhhh i love so many authors oh god. i do love neil gaiman i would be so floored if someone compared me to that guy. OH and terry pratchett . probably would not want to be compared to like. jkr. booooo

6. design the ideal piece of merch/swag for your wip.

oh this one is so me bait. i have serious merch and then deeply unserious merch

7. free space: what's one thing you really want to talk about in your writing that no one ever asks about?

I LOVE soulmate horror and just. idk taking different concepts and hitting them with my aroace beam. i love aroace horror i love aroace people. and i think there should be more weird aspec fiction

Hello kind stranger. I like your blog and as a follow up to your other anon I hope it's okay to share my thoughts on why I personally feel Jikook are very much a thing now more than ever with you (you don't have to post this). I trust my eyes, ears and gut feeling and as a mature army I think I know how a potential relationship look like pretty well and some of the things I see Jikook are doing {what they don't do is also very telling} makes me go DING DING DING every single time so here are my two cents:

The amount of shows and Korean dramas they have to watch together because unless they tell each other everything they do over the phone and are into the exact same jokes in at least 15 different dramas and memes it's almost impossible to have this amount of similar banters so I can't help but thinking they spend a lot of time together and we just don't get to see it. I also think there are small signs that they could be living together but nobody can tell for sure but that's a different topic

Jimin apologizing for JK acting up in a cute harmless way or thanking others who compliments him. Basically how they have interesting different boundaries when it comes to each other that goes beyond taking care of a friend: ^Want me to cut if for you? Don't show your toe socks on live^ You need to make him feel better not making fun of his UN mistake^ and more

Interactions that can't be explained if they are just platonic friends in my humble opinion. For instance Hobi asking Jimin why he's doing his birthday live in JK studio and Jimin doesn't have an answer but looking down and smiling while JK changed the topic with dancing, followed by Hobi giggling and hugging Jimin. The time Hobi teased Jimin about JK being in charge of clothes and again Jimin stuttered. These interactions combined with small gestures like JK waiting for Jimin to pass so he can walk right after him or holding his bags or always wanting to do the heavy lifting even in games as an instinct (have you seen this run episode?) speak volumes to me and only amplifying what I think

Which brings me to the neck bite gate, the ear sucking on stage, the thirst trap birthday wish, GCF Tokyo, maybe the initials tattoos. regardless of what people say it can't be denied that no one will do those things for someone if they are in a romantic relationship with another person. No one will stay awake at night to act sexy in a birthday video for someone you are heavily rumored to be in relationship with when you are already in a relationship. it's disrespectful and rude towards your partner and doesn't fit with the people I think JK or Jimin are. I fully believe that this is a universal truth and that is the real reason why haters always call the 4, 5 BIG jikook moments a lie or ignore them like the plague with childish excuses because even they know deep down that you simply don't do that when you have a boyfriend or girlfriend at home. I'm not one of those people who think Jikook have been together for a decade or know for a fact they are exclusive but these instances happened in the span of years. Just saying

Their early days. Jimin used to ask for kisses constantly and Jungkook was very much into letting Jimin win at games, stand offs and what not. I think it's safe to say both acted towards each other in a a unique way that is different to the rest of the members and I find it interesting how Jimin stopped asking and how JK is still to this day is very gentle when it comes to Jimin. it was very much a puppy love that could have evolved in time to a relationship which is very natural in a place of work

The level of intimacy that is different even for BTS standards. For instance JK seeking with his hand to find bare skin or taking a bite from the pizza silce at the similar spot or proudly showing a neck bite from Jimin on his neck and everything they did in point 4.

Body language- the way they turn their full body towards each other on stage, photos, during games, in official promo videos, the way they sit, and even when they are telling jokes tables apart

Their own bandmates and how they look at one of them when the other one is doing something funny or worth mentioning. very much a setting of a group of friends singling out a couple

The people in their lives seem close. Parents, brother, Poly C, even some of their follow list.

Similar views on life, answers, experiences, likes and dislikes. They click too well and there's a reason why there's endless footage of them doing nothing on the side but enjoying their time together

I won't pretend that I know anything as a fact but ironically in jikook history a lot of things become less complicated and MUCH more easier to explain if they are a couple than if they are not so I go by the rule 'the simplest explanation is usually the correct one'.

Their skins are perhaps some of the best that have ever debuted on MCC. The evening gowns complimenting the stormtroopers?? Incredible.

Tubbo orbiting around Scar like he's the center of the universe <3

Callum and Jojo pondering the potential of cats that could be unlocked should they have thumbs

watching bad buddy was the first thing i did this year and it didn’t take me long after to make this blog. it hit me so unbelievably hard, i was reeling, i’m still reeling. i know i’m preaching to the choir but for me it’s unlike anything i’ve loved before. i had been out of fandom for like. almost ten years. before bbs (and a small handful of other beloved thai bls) yanked me back in

well you know. the obvious one. inkpa too OF COURSE. waikorn cracks me up even if i’m a nonbeliever. i loved whatever was happening between pat, pran, phupha, and tian. and i also love, in a platonic way, pran’s dynamic with ink (he makes fun of her bracelet/fakes her out by saying he also liked her…as a friend. it’s very endearing very sibling-in-law) and pran’s dynamic with pa (in bbs but also in bbsos2)

favorite character(s)

god how to choose between pat and pran. they are both characters of all time. well-developed with idiosyncrasies and penchants for lying and performing and slipping into roles and reversing roles. especially when they’re with each other of course. i might choose pran simply because i see more of myself in pat if that makes sense

favorite episode(s)

it’s probably episode 5, or episode 11. both these episodes just take everything out of me. you know why. runners up: episode 3 and episode 12. this is hard to pick because there is not a single episode i wouldn't enjoy (lol) randomly rewatching. all bangers no skips

favorite scene(s)

i love the scene in episode 4 of pat telling pran his dimples are cute. episode 5 fight scene my beloved. then there's the entirety of the bet era like aside from how perfect it is for pat and pran…it’s just peak romance, peak build-up, such a pleasure to watch. i reeeeeally do love the fantasy sequence of pat and pran eating dinner with pran’s parents in episode 11, i’m fascinated by it in a meta sense but also it hurts so good. i like ming and dissaya hearing pat and pran laughing and singing together in pran’s room in ep12 and being utterly powerless to stop it. it’s like, the show didn’t necessarily need all of ep 12, but it was such a welcome and fitting epilogue to these beloved characters and their love. pat and pran are gonna be alright...

one thing you would change about the show if you could

i really appreciate all of its imperfections honestly but. it would have to be the aftermath of wai outing pat and pran. even in my first watch it was a head scratcher that pran was expected to be the one apologizing. it just didn’t add up. there was a weight behind what was happening that the show didn’t realize. i can rationalize it and explain it away to make wai somewhat less heinous in universe but it really should have been treated as what it was: an outing. also yes let ink and pa kiss.

what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people?

and for @hereforlou's art. pure domestic bliss that pat and pran have EARNED. this is the fanart reimaginings they deserve. also i love their little cowlicks

@miscellar's meta series the comprehensive shrek breakdown of pat and pran's story in our skyy (particularly for ep3 which i linked). i was in the trenches those two weeks in late may/early june and these posts (and their dms) were my guiding light...all of miscellar's meta is extremely baller and forever on the bbs 101 syllabus in my mind. and for some reason i’m waiting to read more bad buddy fanfiction until after i finish my own BBS fic but I’m excited to read their zombie patpran. so it gets an honorable mention here + they get so many anons singing its praise like i literally can't wait

also I’m not on Twitter much at all but the other day I read @dimplesandfierceeyes's pinned thread and listen it got me through the day. just read it if you haven't.

About the Players:

Pokémon Violet is being played by one-half of a dynamic duo (Taz/Trina of tazsaintsart) while Pokémon Sword is being played by the other half (Hope, aka gleaming_hope). Since our respective games are new to us, and we wanted to share our thoughts and quips and feelings on these games through the eyes of our youngest characters, Alex and Max. Q: Is there a set posting schedule? A: Hell no. Making a schedule and deadlines is the quickest way to destroy my motivation to draw. The pressure turns into anxiety which turns into guilt which turns into shame and then nobody gets anything fun anymore.

Q: Sword's old! Why would you include it? A: Because it's new to Hope (OP's husbando) and he has his own quirky sense of humour worth sharing too. Besides, it means more story posts for you and I feel it's a great counterbalance to the story of Violet.

Q: Will you include the DLC? A: Eventually! Gotta' finish the main story first!

Q: Is it just me, or is the scaling/heights between characters a bit wonky? A: It's not you! The in-game player charas skewed my perception so it took me a while to figure out character heights that I could use consistently, so Alex might seem shorter than he should be in earlier posts, while Max was a bit bigger than he was meant to be.

Q: What's this 'Lato' thing I keep seeing mentioned? A: Lato is a fan region based on Poland, created by this blog's art assistant @diamondphantom~ In Alex's canon/backstory, he had a particularly lengthy school trip through the region four years prior to Paldea. It doesn't really affect the current story beyond showing that Alex has had a significant mood shift in the four years since the school trip.

Q: Will you draw '_____'? A: Maybe, maybe not! Aside from a set motivation for the boys, posts will just be whatever we feel like sharing.

Q: Can I suggest ideas, or submit my own work to this blog? A: The Ask and Submissions boxes are open for this very reason! There are two WIPs from the Happily Ever After main universe (Logan-Janus-Roman-Remus series) that I don't know if I'll ever share. They both take place post What Might Have Been. One is called Joy, the other is untitled. Each of them would require Major Character Death tags, as well as a healthy dose of unreliable narrator. In Joy, the unreliable POV is Remus'.

In the untitled (post-apocalyptic) story, the unreliable narrator is a six-year-old Joy. (OC, sorry, not sorry, hafta read What Might Have Been to find out who she is :D)

TJ anon here again. It is the middle of the night and I have to be up in 3 hours, so of course that makes it the perfect time to share some more headcanons. I'm glad you like them so much because I have a whole extended universe in between seasons 1 and 2 that exists for no one other than me. This time, it's the s2 spouses edition!Of the spouses, Rebecca has known the kiddads the longest. She was at their middle school, and befriended them a year or two after Faerûne. I think that she came from a very conservative family, and the kiddads are all pretty squarely not that, and since girlie hadn't developed her critical thinking skills yet she just decided that centrism was a good way to negate her confusion and internal conflict. I also think she was a cheerleader! Normal really does take after her. She knows that Nicky is a demon, having seen and pieced together a few things, but no one knows this because she told Terry Jr that she knew and he asked her not to tell Nicky, because this was in the middle of Morgan and Jodie's divorce and he was super stressed out, and then they both just forgot that she knew that and that that would be a suprise to everyone else. She's also well aware that something Weird™ is going on with these four families (there is no reason why the great axe in the Wilson family hallway has permanent changing "fake" blood splatters, or why any injuries the kiddads have seen to vanish after they visit the Oak-Garcias) and has ultimately decided that she's just not going to question it. She has a vegan ice cream company to run, and if her friends happen to have very specific arcane knowledge, well they must just be hyperfixated on a niche fantasy IP. Or maybe wizards. One of the two, maybe both. It can always be both.Cassandra and Marco both met the kiddads at college. I've already mentioned how Cassandra and Terry Jr met (theatre classes), and then Terry Jr slowly integrated her into the group. Marco and Grant shared a subject in first year (in my head it's psychology for some reason) and Grant fell FAST. Marco actually met the rest of the group because they would not stop teasing Grant about his crush, and thus took every opportunity to show up and be weird in front of him to embarrass Grant (and subtly sus out if he can handle being around them). Once, at a New Years party, Marco got absolutely wasted and kissed Terry Jr, thinking he was Grant, at midnight and then promptly passed out on the stairs. Terry and Lark (the designated driver) were the only ones sober enough to remember this, but Lark filmed it on his phone and they played it and Grant and Marco's wedding reception. The best part is that Grant and Marco weren't even together yet, and it took them another 5 months to start dating.Cassandra has sent someone to the emergency room with a pool cue before. No one knows how. A group of physics and med students sat down to try and work out what exactly she did, and gave up after a few months. The kid was fine, but Cassandra payed his hospital bills anyway. Being the campus cryptid for a while is still her proudest moment.Veronica meet Terry Jr at the dance classes he helps teach. Scary, then Terry/Terri, had a long soccer practice on Saturdays so she decided to go out and meet some new people. They got chatting, found they had a lot in common, started sending memes to each other, and things just grew from there. Terry's boss would pair them up for demonstrations suspiciously often, which might have helped.When the other spouses meet her, they are going to adopt her into their friendship group immediately. When you're married to people as bizarre as the kiddads are, you form your own little support group of comparatively normal people, to remind yourself that you aren't crazy but also you are.

What I would Like to see in Gotham Knights

With the game coming out pretty soon, from how the release date was moved to this year than the next, I thought this is the best chance to share my thoughts on what I would like to see in the game.

Starting with characters I hope to see in it. I know they said no DLCs, but after the game comes out and become a success, it will give them the money to do DLCs.

This is a filled in meme I made on Deviantart and here is the original Top 5 Characters That Should Appear In Gotham Knights meme, for those who want to give it a try. As long as you remember to share and credit me. I made this long before the villains tailer came out and confirmed that Harley Quinn will be in it, even though it isn't the Harley I was hoping for. The one that has cut ties with Joker and just wants to create chaos with her pals, that aren't henchmen. The trailer has me thinking that she could still be in league with the Joker, who is no doubt grieving for Batman and has left Harley in charge or something like that.

I know that Tim is Robin in the game, but I would love to see Damian Wayne (even as a baby) in it. And who knows maybe Damian might become Red Robin in the game, similar to how one of the plot options in interaction movie version of Under the Red Hood, Batman: Death in the Family can have Jason become Red Robin than Red Hood. While a young Tim was made Batkid than the third Robin.

As a sucker for the Bat Family, who wouldn't want to see Batwoman, Spoiler and Batwing joining the Knights or simply lending them a hand. If Kate's cop girlfriend is serving as the new Gordan to the Knights, it makes sense to add her in as well. Spoiler would make things interesting when playing as Tim, if the game's universe has them having the same or similar history that their comic counterparts have. If Lucius Fox is helping the Batfamily to honour of his friend and boss, I'm hoping that Luke Fox will be making an appearance as well. These characters, along with Damian, would serve as great add in characters for DLCs. As it would give us other Knights to play.

Before I change topic, it would also be cool to see Catwoman, Scarecrow, Bane, Ra's or Tail al Ghul, Monk, Nocturna and possibly Green Arrow in the game as well. I know that Green Arrow isn't a Batman character, but the two are friends and like any friend he would want to lend Batman's young partners a hand.

After seeing the Gotham Knights - The Batman Family Behind The Scene Trailer, it got me to think about the Batfamily moments we'll get to see in the belfry. Me, I think a cut-sense of Alfred showing the four a photo album of Bruce's childhood would be cute and heart-warming. Along with him pulling out another album or two that has photos of Dick and Jasons' childhood in the manor with Bruce, along with photos that were taken of Barbara (before or after she and Dick brock up) and Tim. This would have the four Knights trying to hide any photos that are too embracing, cracking jokes and remembering the good times they had with Bruce.

A game night moment would also be fun to see.

So, this was my last minuet wishlist for Gotham Knights. What do you think about these thoughts, and what are you hoping to see in the game.

Best Friends with Melone HCs, gn!Reader

This is a continuation of an Anon request. You can find the first part here! It takes place in the same 'universe' where Reader is dating Prosciutto in the first post 😁

There is discussions of sexual health and kinks in this post. While I firmly believe discussion of sex ed is not inherently NSFW, the topic of sexual kinks is always NSFW and so this post will have the appropriate banner attached to it.

💜 You two are friends long before you ever met Prosciutto. Melone is actually the one that introduced you to him in the first place. He was constantly saying you and Pros would be perfect together, your star charts had some of the highest compatibility he’s ever seen! The rest is history, and Melone loves to tease you two about how you two wouldn’t be together if it weren’t for him. Prosciutto would prefer not to be reminded of that.

🍈 Melone is the friend you can text at like 2am if you’re drunk off your ass and need a ride home from the club (this is assuming he is also not drunk off his ass with you at said club, at least this time around). Granted it will be on his motorcycle and he might tie you to him so you don’t do anything stupid but hey, you’ll still get home! Don’t worry he’ll make sure none of your puke gets in your hair if you get nauseous from the ride.

💜 If you’re comfortable with it he wants to know ALL the details about your sex life (Don’t share about what you do with Prosciutto though no matter how curious Melone is!) and he’ll tell you the same about him. He’s the weird mom friend when it comes to sex and wants to be sure you’re being safe, sane and consensual. Always has condoms and a few lube packets on hand too. Hey don’t look at him like that, they’ve come in handy during missions! Should you not want to talk about those things Melone always stresses that you can go to him for anything without any judgments from him.

🍈 Says dumb gross shit just to see how people react. For example you get up to go to the bathroom and Melone just holds out his hands and says “Do it here queen,” and everyone is groaning but you’re unbothered because you know he’s fucking around with you. You think. Does he actually have a piss kink? You don’t know and he still dodges the question just to annoy you and the rest of La Squadra.

💜 Get back at Melone for being a freak by talking about the one holistic/alt medical practice he absolutely hates: healing crystals. You can just make shit up. Talk about how eating amethyst is great for curing digestion problems or that rose quartz helped improve your eyesight or whatever. Melone KNOWS you’re just fucking with him but it gets to him every time and its so fucking funny. He will practically start frothing at the mouth about how it’s all made up bullshit.

🍈 Melone’s the type to want to solve everyone’s problems so he’ll give lots of advice/feedback when he thinks it’ll be helpful. Whether it's good or not is...debatable. Be clear about when you just need to vent about something and need comfort, not help.

💜 Will text you deep fried cursed memes that only you two would understand. A good chunk of your text chat is nothing but a back and forth of cursed images that are usually sent between the hours of 2 and 5 am that no one is capable of deciphering. Prosciutto made the mistake of picking up your phone once to pass it over to you, and he glanced out of curiosity (he recognized the text alert sound as the one for Mel) and now he just refuses to be anywhere near it.

🍈 Listen to me, it doesn't matter how old you are, sometimes the best thing is just walking up to your bff and saying "Tiddies" and watching them laugh. Melone is shameless about how funny this is to him, with any similar words too. Dumb toilet humor can be cathartic with how stressful life is as a member of LS! He does the same thing to you but he can't get words out without laughing sometimes and then you're both just snickering dweebs.
