Be courageous let vulnerability guide your connections When we interact with the world most of us do it from behind the mask, hiding our true selves to gain approval. We believe that 'putting our best face on ' is a good thing , yet when that is inauthentic it can back fire . We all know the feeling of connecting with someone who is being false and it doesn't feel good . What a lot of us don't perceive is that we are engaging with the world with a false identity for most of the time . Yet we have become so used to it that we think it is our real self . We have become experts , perverted our true selves to get what we want from life yet the problem is what we get is a reflection of who we are pretending to be and thus never truly fulfills us . To remove this mask feels vulnerable and we can feel exposed and uncomfortable, yet if we are courageous enough to do so, we present our true face to people . OWNERSHIP IS THE PATH TO HEALING AND GRATITUDE IS THE DESTINATION All of us have had situations in our that have left us with a sense of being wounded, and we carry these wounds forward every day, without realizing how they impact us. Anything that we perceive as negative we seek to avoid and create various protection mechanisms and attempt to keep us safe . However, this method of avoidance actually creates a subconscious dynamic, where we attract negative experiences that repeat this cycle, and the reason we do this, is to remind ourselves to keep up our defenses because erroneously we believe that when things are too good, something bad could happen, and this cycle repeats itself. The first step to break out of this cycle is to reveal what has happened honestly and vulnerable and to allow yourself to grieve without judgment. The second step is to investigate through meditation, therapy, workshops, so that we can understand why something happened which will help us lead to forgiveness of the other end of ourselves. The last step is ownership when we are ready and see how this wound is limiting us, we can investigate the challenging proposition that somehow every seemingly negative experience has served us on a path to our evolution. With patience and tenacity, we can find a deeper understanding of how this could be so, this resolution lead us to the final destination, Gratitude, which is when we are truly healed . loss is the reduction of the pollution of our authentic self The power of loss in our lives is a powerful thing , that has crafted and defined us on our journey, yet most of us see it as a negative, literally as a subtraction from us . Many of us seek to avoid loss at all costs and unfortunately thats what happens it costs us . Costs us our authenticity. We have created a false idol , our very identities are built up by acquisition as we seek to ingratiate ourselves . Yet this very inflation is the problem we believe we are less so we try to make ourselves more and thus when we lose anything we feel its a deficit, and we mourn this loss . Yet in reality, who we came in as is our true being and anything we added to ourselves lessened the purity of who we authentically are . In our seeking to be someone we polluted our true essence for these worldly acquisitions. Therefore beyond the perspective of the small you, is the understanding that all loss is actually serving us . Acceptance removes the resistance to abundance In the polarized view of the world that most people adopt , seeing things as either good or bad , we are all ready to accept something we perceive serves us but resistant to that we think does not . We think that loss is negative so any thing that we perceive that way we resist.Adversely what insist on things that we believe we will gain something from . However the truth is that this behavior of forcing to get or defending , both create friction in our lives . This effort creates within us a tension needing us to adopt a vigilant attitude , fearful of losing or missing out , which is at the root of our stress and when it happens leads to our feeling of suffering. There is another choice . Rather than this constant anxiety we can chose to Trust ! When we recognize that there is a divine perfection to our lives , and that which leaves is making space for that which is more in alignment with who we now are we stop holding and grasping and learn to live with an open hand attitude. Trusting this perfection we learn to accept that life is always supporting us and we remove our resistance, dropping our internal barriers to the natural abundance that is our birthright. CONTROL IS OUR UNWILLINGNESS TO TRUST THE PERFECTION Most of us are masters of control. We have trained ourselves through adulthood to garb the reins of our life and believe that if we where not careful and attentive that we would come off the tracks and crash . This fear of hitting a situation that we feel is bad or negative to us, is what has us hold oh so tightly to the wheel desperately trying to avoid the obstacles we perceive. However this tension has us living a life of stress , we try to control everything convinced that there is terrible consequences that will befall us if we don't . Yet this pressure creates resistance to the situations in our life that are asking is to surrender or move on , as we have decided that at its root loss is a negative experience we wish to avoid . When in fact all loss is helping us by removing that which no longer serves us . The universe is loving in nature and always serving our highest evolution , yet if we are unwilling to trust this we live in a place of restriction and fear , trying to control every outcome . Yet when we are courageous enough to change our mindset we recognize what leaves us by definition cannot be us , and therefore each loss is an act of purification of our true essence allowing space for us to move on to the next greatest step in our evolution. When we serve another's evolution we advance our own Today's mindset can be very self serving , with many of us focused on how we are going to get the things we want and what we have to do to go about getting them. This can lead to a lack of consideration and empathy for others as we believe that life is a big competition and we are competing against each other for the prizes we seek . However this way of navigating creates a selfish attitude where we look to beat others to gain more and even celebrate this achievement when we win . Yet often we do this at the cost to our own well being and detriment of our others with a dog eat dog attitude. Yet in reality we are not here to get more stuff we are here to evolve beyond our possessions and find peace and well being within . The secret to this is that we are the source of all we could be looking for outside of ourselves and we discover this to be true when we give it to others . When we Walk in Truth we walk in Peace and all is added unto us Truth is something we all aspire to live by but in actuality it can be a challenging thing to have as a priority in our lives . So often without even realizing it we can be swayed by the overriding factors of trying to gain something or trying to avoid loss of some sort and this becomes more important than being guided by what is true for us . However when we approach life from this perspective we unwittingly develop a false perspective and that is reflected to us. Life gives us what matches our agenda and if that is not what is true for us , it doesn't serve our grander goal of contentment. Paradoxically if we are courageous enough to be authentic not matter what the outcome we develop a deeper trust that it is serving us and we walk with an inner peace . In this place of calm equanimity we are guided by an inner voice that we learn to trust and we surrender the struggle, allowing what goes to go , what comes to come , what stays to stay . Slowly understanding that this is all a reflection of what is alignment with our truth, and everything we need will arrive perfectly without struggle or grasping. External Challenge is designed to remove internal resistance All of us come across challenges everyday in our lives and we mostly deal with them head on trying to address the situation on the outside . However when resolution is not forthcoming we can choose to avoid it hoping it will just go away on its own . If it is an external challenge asking us to step up and face something without fear then this is a gift of resilience and can be effective. Yet when the issue persists neither of these methods are actually effective , and. Instead we are being asked to look inside and see what is the internal resistance we have been avoiding that needs to be dealt with . Sometimes it can be a case of always putting our true desires and expression second to worldly duties. However if we choose to do what we can, but then leave it and redirect our energy to creativity or joyful pursuits , that can be the positive internal change needed to shift the external resistance. Or it can be a habit or belief that is limiting our authenticity and is no longer serving us . Either way when we have the courage and are willing to make these internal changes our external situation will change to reflect it . Follow the path of joy for it will bear the fruits of contentment Sometimes we find it difficult to decide what is our guiding principle from which to make decisions on. There is our responsibilities of our various roles in life as a parent, business, owner, employee etc. and these often take precedent when deciding where to put our energy, however, when we come from a place of duty, we look for the feedback of worth either from ourselves or others usually both. When we look for confirmation from outside ourselves we will always get confirmation of our own insecurities that create the need for it . So we are always trying to live up to our expectations and looking for a payoff , but we sabotage ourselves in the process. Real contentment is found when we recognize that we all have an internal guidance system that is aligned to our wellbeing , and when we follow its path we are rewarded with the fruits of joy along the way . ALL WE DESIRE WILL BE FOUND WITHIN AS WE GIVE IT TO OTHERS So much of our attention is directed into looking outside of ourselves for what we desire, yet the only reason we truly desire it is because we are unable to see it in ourselves. When we are young, we innocently have access to all the joy, creativity, spontaneity and happiness we could desire. Yet as we grow up slowly block this expression of ourselves in an attempt to conform and avoid judgment so we fit in with the adults & society around us. This ongoing repression means that every day as we boot up our personality, we suppress our authenticity, which exhausts us, and makes us feel like we do not have enough. Because of this, we then seek to be rewarded from the outside for behaviors that we have adopted believing they will gain these rewards. The way to break the cycle is to stop the self restriction and find others that we perceive are in need of what we desire. When we focus our attention on serving others bringing them the joy, peace and happiness we desire, we discover that it was within us all along and as we witness ourselves sharing this , we experience it for ourselves. When we are cut down it is so we can rise a new without the baggage of the past The great scythe of life often comes unexpectedly, it swings through our being without much warning and we are cut down , physically, emotionally and mentally. Often we struggle to make sense of this experience , looking for an earthly meaning so that we may understand what is happening to us . Yet the search for the worldly cause can often be unnecessary for although there is a physical dynamic , this is not the real reason why the event has occurred. The universe will utilize whatever will get our attention the most; physical , financial, emotional, material ; to bring us to our knees . For as we surrender our addiction to the everyday distractions we are brought in to the present moment and asked to drop all that we are carrying. If we allow ourselves to release our fears and trust this deconstruction is happening for a reason , we can let go of trying to figure out the how's and understand we are in an evolutionary acceleration. The past is being asked to be left behind and we are offered the opportunity to remerge like the Phoenix to a whole new state of being . We don't get by grasping we attract by being. In life we are all on a mission yo get something or another. Behind this is the unconscious belief that it is only by acquisition that we gain value . The more we have the more we are worth yet the more we add to ourselves the more we are defined by this and the less freedom we have to truly be authentic. We grasp for things we think have value yet betray ourselves in the process , often sacrificing our truth in return for some reward or payoff yet ultimately over time we recognize that whatever we received was not worth the cost . For we become lost in the process . How things really work is that we attract what we are , not what we want . So when we are not being ourselves we gain that which doesn't serve us , as it doesn't match our frequency .
