still thinking abt when i was wearing a cotton voile maxi skirt in 30 degree heat and my friend incredulously asked me why i was dressed like that since i must be too hot and i had to explain to him that it's actually optimal bc cotton is breathable + that particular cotton is very light + a loose skirt allows air to flow + being covered up keeps the sun off your skin

#anyway that's my number one clothing tip for hot weather. natural fibres + thin fabric + loose clothes #soapbox
