They always said he had no life. It was the type of a place where a man without a wife and children appeared suspicious, so he was probably lucky that he was a policeman and gained trust over the years of his hard work. He could move to a big city where nobody would bat an eye, but even with all its frustrations, he loved this place. Quirky little cottages and shops, market with fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers, that lovely lady who always knew everything and sold him her homemade dinners, and always left one for him on the side when he did not show up, knowing he was too busy with work and will come back home starving. That gentleman who always knew how to fix his crap car, the young woman who scared her kids with the policeman who would get them if they did not stop misbehaving, but they just stuck their tongues out at him, even the drunk who was known to everyone not so much for always being drunk but for calling everyone Kings and Queens, especially when asking for change.

And then there was him.

David.

Perhaps he was the reason the people finally accepted Michael, because David came in standing out from the place like a black peacock in a desert, and he apparently did not give a single fuck and somehow everyone fell for it which Michael still could not comprehend how.

Nobody looked twice at Michael anymore or cared to talk about his ‘mysterious’ life. 

The mystery being that he was simply single in his fifties which was weird enough for this place. He was not sure why David was getting away with it.   

About a year ago someone bought the gorgeous old mansion surrounded by the forest, that was left to rot for years. Within a year it was brought to its former glory, with the amount of money Michael could not even imagine to have. The legends were writing themselves during that time, and everyone decided that royalty was going to move in. Lords and Ladies who will bring the village back to its former glory, which Michael was still not sure what that was because he dug deep enough to know that the village had always been the same. The only things he found were the shiver inducing religious stories he hoped would help him understand what was going on with the recent murders. He hoped that religious insanity was not what people wanted to bring back. 

And then instead David moved in to the mansion. Arrived at night in a beautiful car and nobody ever joined him. 

Michael looked at him leaning towards the old lady who was currently touching his cheeks telling him he was too thin. She adored the guy and Michael saw him a few times helping carry her bags and chatting like they knew each other for a long time. 

Michael did not know how old the man was. Standing there now, in a black fluffy jumper, dark skinny jeans and trainers, hair short on the sides and longer on top, curling a little, obviously ruffled by the lady, he looked in his thirties if not younger. But Michael saw him dressed in the most fashionable suit, probably costing as much as Michael’s yearly wage, hair smoothed back, face serious as he was speaking on the phone, and he looked handsome but definitely closer to his forties. 

He could not ask around because everyone would know within minutes that he did. Especially him.

Black Hat X Reader fandom: Villainous/Villainos words: 1132 cw: none!! enjoy! a/n: Hi hi!! ive really been wanting to do headcanons for Black Hat for a while, I'm open to asks and requests so dont be afraid to drop a suggestion in!!

(Platonic):

Black hat is by no means an easy boss. He’s ruthless, unmerciful and bitter, and you are no exception in the Eldrich’s case.

At first.

When you were first hired to be an employee at Black Hat Organization, Black Hat treats you as he would any of his other employees.

With zero respect.

He has very little tolerance for inefficiency

But you were absolutely determined to live up to his impossible expectations.

Maybe you spent a little extra time organizing his paperwork, or added a smidge more arsenic to his tea than usual (he had a sweet tooth for poison occasionally) and maybe you even bothered to dust some of his prized artifacts and tomes from his glory days as villain, making them look as new as the day he got them, and so many other things you did that seemed to make his life a little bit more stress-free.

At first, he thought nothing of it, it wasn't uncommon that his henchmen would grovel at his feet and suck up to him, it amused him really. 

But overtime the eldritch realizes that you wanted to do these little tasks. 

But why?? He was the most feared being in existence, and you went out of your way to do the smallest task to appease him. You seemed to worm your way into his thoughts, even as he sat perched at his desk in the wee hours of the night. Why were you just so…sweet! You should be cowering in fear!!

Speaking of fear, he loooooooves to scare the shit out of you, popping up when you least expect, out of the shadows, morphing into some unspeakable abomination of eyes and mouths (possibly) scarring you, always got a kick out of him.

After working for him for some time you were the only one, he seemed to tolerate, you managed to do your job with little to no flaw or mistake, unlike his scientist.

Dr. Flug admittedly was slightly envious.

He’d never admit it but, Black Hat enjoys holding conversation with you from time to time. He allows you to ask questions, most of them being about all the things he had witnessed and accomplished in the eons he’s been alive. He almost admired the way your eyes lit up in wonder as he explained. Almost.

You enjoyed these little private conversations too, occasionally the demon would ask a question or two about yourself, which you would happily answer. He may show no interest on the outside, but on the inside he's curious. Something he rarely feels.

He does have a reputation to uphold however, and still threatens, yells and demeans you just as he would any of his other employees.

Gotta keep you on your toes, ya know? 

But deep down you know. You know that he secretly enjoys your company and is too stubborn to actually admit it.

You even dare to go as far and say that he was a friend. Don't let him hear you say that though.

When I say this man is conflicted

The mere thought of love made Black Hat’s face morph into an ugly scowl, something he thought was near impossible for him to ever experience. The man had no heart for goodness's sake!

Oh, but then you had to weasel yourself into his life, his home, with your sweetness, didn't you?

Let me be clear when I say that this old man has never experienced these kinds of feelings before in his lifetime, and when he does, he thinks he’s possibly dying.

Did I also mention dramatic??

When realization dawns on him, he is absolutely floored, and the first thing he does is avoid you like the plague, which confuses you and raises a bit of concern. He rarely calls you to his office, and when he does, he avoids eye contact or just faces away from you entirely, barely acknowledging your presence.

Definitely becomes moodier, and more irritable as his feelings fester.

It’s not until you confront him one evening, when the manor is still and quiet, everyone having retreated to their respective rooms hours ago. That he finally confesses.

And being the extremely old fashioned eldritch he is, he formally asks to court you, how could you deny such a tempting proposition from the lord himself??

Of course, you say yes, why wouldn't you?? It’s an honor to be courted by Lord Black Hat!

Surprisingly, nothing changes much at first, he’s still very new to these feelings.

You both come to the agreement to keep your courtship strictly private and away from prying eyes, as I’ve said the man has a reputation to uphold.

God forbid Demencia finds out either. 

With all that being said, you both take things very slowly, which thankfully you were patient and understanding about, he's experiencing all these things for the first time.

It’s a good thing you're there to help guide him, right?

He may not have ever been in a relationship, but he isn't stupid. This demon is a straight up gentleman, and extremely chivalrous. Call it old-fashioned if you must, But the man is a charmer.

Despite his villainous persona, Black Hat shows rare moments of unexpected softness when he's alone with you.

He might not admit it, but he secretly enjoys quiet evenings, perhaps reading or just spending time together in one of his private studies. He personally enjoys reading the Necronomicon to you.

Black hat also has an uncanny ability to find and present unique, often mysterious gifts. They might be rare artifacts, darkly enchanted trinkets, or even personalized items that reflect his understanding of your tastes. You keep every single one of them.

He’s surprisingly a good listener and remembers just about anything you tell him.

Which by the way, this man spoils you.

When it comes to dates, Black Hat goes all out. He arranges extravagant, exclusive events, whether it's a candlelit dinner on a rooftop or a private screening at the manor. 

He once brought you to another dimension to view the downfall of an alien civilization, how romantic!

Black Hat, in his own twisted way, is fiercely protective over you. He might not show it overtly, but anyone who dares to even look at you with disdain will face the Eldrich’s fiery wrath.

Overall, Black Hat is surprisingly a good lover and partner. Your life never seems to be dull with him around, and you're incredulously grateful and honored to be able to see this side of him, even if it's behind closed doors. He has a hard time conveying his feelings and being vulnerable, but you're patient and understanding and eager to help guide him.

He never would have thought love was possible for him until you came along.

You’re always clinging unto to Robin/New Batman. Saying sweet nothings and flirting with him, if not full on making out/having sex with the vigilante. You like the dude, really. But your heart remains with Damian Wayne. Robin/Batman just really reminded you of him sometimes.

Hatefucking. Hatefucking happens a lot. Robin/Batman loves pinning you to the walls/floors of alleyways before you two get down and dirty.

Whereas, people (namely his fellow vigilantes) think he’s done with you, but he’s probably the biggest [Villain Name] fanboy out there.

He knows basically everything about you except your true identity. Which is somehow completely inaccessible to him.

Little does he know that it was actually his own doing, locking your civilian self’s private information as a favor between friends.

But because of this he misunderstands and thinks you’re even more of a genius or something because you managed to outwit him!! You!! Are!! So!! Damn!! Amazing!!

Damian acts cold with everybody. He’s a brooding guy. He doesn’t express much. Only about 1% of what he’s feeling actually gets put into action and/or words.

So the fact that he insists on taking on missions where he has to face you, assists you if you aren’t harming anyone, or actually indulges in your flirtation is a big thing.

So it’s safe to say when he found out you liked someone else other than him, that you were just using him to get yourself to feel better about not having said dude he gets petty.

You two used to have this pact, to never interfere with each other’s civilian lives and to respect your secret identities (of which he’s tried to breach remotely several times). But all that goes up in flames as he stalks you after a heist. Following you home.

He finds out about your secret identity, your ‘unrequited’ love for him, and you two begin dating. But you’re still oblivious about his other identity.

Damian kinda has a kink for it ngl. Like he’ll charm you as Robin/Batman even as you tell him you’re already dating someone else.

Like it’s so adorable how you keep resisting him, telling him how much you love his civilian counterpart.

But then he still proceeds to fuck your brains out as a Vigilante.

Man didn’t know he was into roleplaying until this moment. Like he’ll murmur stuff like “You say you love him, but nothing beats this. I’ve already carved a place inside you, Beloved. A place shaped in my image.”

Or “Where did your ‘undying love’ go, hm? Nowhere. You’re right back with me. Complete undone within moments of my touch.”

Things go a little awry though when you, ever the mature/communicative one in the relationship attempt to break up because Robin/Batman is leaving you confused as to how you truly feel. In addition to you not want to cuck your beautiful (soon to be ex) boyfriend any longer.

VER II: Is more on Vigilante x Vigilante. Similar to the one above except your relationship is a lot more professional and less hate-fuckey. You know of each other’s civilian/vigilante selves.

You’ve always admired Damian. Despite being quite close in age, you always saw him as a younger brother if not like a son almost. Witnessing him grow up and mature alongside you.

But your doting nature always came off a tad bit romantic. Flirtatious even. You tended to be a playful person after all. Hell you even call him Babe or Baby like that’s totally normal for you to call friends that.

A lot of your friends and colleagues always laugh at Damian’s expense whenever you arrive to come nag and/or flirt with him. It’s honestly hilarious. Judging from his murderous aura, people always thought that he wanted you 6 feet under.

The truth of the matter was that his glares and thoughts of murder were all directed to everyone else but you.

Damian never felt so at home and at peace with anyone or anything but his pets in life.

He’d be damned if anything happens to you.

Still, it frustrates him. He knows that you only see him as sibling almost. That you’d die for him but never date him. That despite your honeyed words he’s probably neck deep in the friendzone.

And so to the absolute surprise of everybody, he starts flirting back.

e.g. murdering those who slighted you and/or gazed upon your visage for too long, delivering their remains to your doorstep, amongst a bouquet flowers of course, and the occasional chocolates

You eventually fall in love back, though you ask him to tone it down on the violence.

Courtney Autism Headcanons I have because all of my favs are neurodivergent

Fun fact- my very first headcanon of Total Drama was that Courtney is autistic. Is this me projecting? YEAH AND WHAT ABOUT IT????

She got diagnosed at a rather early age (3 years old) with Autism, though her family always stressed to her that she should never tell anyone for fear of it messing with their reputation

Her special interest is court cases, funny enough. She loves looking up court documents and watching trials and she enjoys talking about how if she was a judge/ lawyer, how she would proceed/defend the case. Her parents noticed this and began pushing her into pursuing a career as a lawyer

She also has special interests in geography, birds of prey, MMA fighting and musical theater (though that last special interest often gets repressed since she's been taught that things such as theater are frivolous)

REALLY good at masking, so much so that she unintentionally will mask. Years of suppression has really helped in making people believe she's fully neurotypical! She was masking in the 1st season, up until she gets (unfairly) voted off

No, she doesn't have a fear of green jelly, but it is a MAJOR sensory issue for her. In fact, most gelatin and gelatin-like foods trigger her. She can't eat anything with a gummy texture

She unfortunately has a very hard time regulating her emotions since her parents couldn't be bothered to assist her anymore beyond getting a proper diagnosis. She can have very big reactions to very little inconveniences (especially if she knows she has no control over the situation)

VERY routine-oriented, so if that routine veers even slightly off track, she gets upset. She plans her week out in advance since schedules give her a sense of security

When she's not wearing shoes she walks around on her tiptoes

She also has a stim of balling her hands into fists and moving her arms up and down

She doesn't tell anybody about her diagnosis when she first arrives on the island, since it's been imbedded into her head that people will see her as less than if she tells anyone (and it's 2007, people- especially teenagers- are absolutely ableist)

Harold figures it out pretty quickly though and just outright asks her in private while they both are on Playa Des Losers since he wanted to know. She denies it at first but literally no one has just ever plainly asked her that and so she kinda breaks down and admits that yes, she is autistic, and Harold just stands there confused because why is she acting like she just got caught doing something horribly wrong

Turns out, in Courtney's eyes, something IS wrong with her. Harold straight up tells her that there's nothing she can do to make her autism "better" but it's not like being autistic is a death sentence. It's part of what makes her, her

That sorta blows her mind because all Courtney's life she's been made to feel like something is wrong with her. She never thought to just…. accept her neurodivergence. Huh

From then on she learns to just accept herself for who she is. It's a lot better than living your life ashamed of something you can't change

On a Wednesday, In a Café

(For @phoebe-delia who puts up with me and lets me pop in to ask things like WHO INSULTED TAYLOR SWIFT’S SENSE OF HUMOR?? This is just a tiny little vignette inspired by Start Again. I think this also fits for @drarrymicrofic and the prompt “hope” - in a way.)

The café is weirdly busy for a Wednesday morning. 

Draco is moderately disgruntled. He’s used to having the place to himself — his Wednesday mornings are sacred. It’s the one day of the week he can sleep in, as he doesn’t have to be at work until after lunch, and he loves coming to this small, cosy coffee shop. He always gets the same thing, the largest café au lait they serve with two shots of vanilla and whatever savoury scone they’re baking that day, and he always sits in the same place, one of the big comfy overstuffed armchairs in the corner by the fireplace. He reads whatever journal he’s brought along and he eats his scone and he drinks his coffee and it’s just. Really nice. That’s all. 

Okay, at least today, no one is in the other armchair, so when Draco sits down and pulls out his journal, maybe it’s a little louder than usual, but things are still fine in his world. He’s managed to tune out the sounds of the people around him, reduced them to background white noise as he reads up on the latest innovations in cauldron technology (spoiler alert: InstantCauldron™ is a misnomer because it does not, in fact, do all the prep work for you even if it does brew in less than half the time a standard cauldron takes, so there’s really nothing Instant about it, not that Draco is bitter). In any case, he’s focused on what he’s reading which is why at first he doesn’t really register the words that he’s hearing.

“Did you hear about…”

“I read that…”

“Did you know he…”

And Draco doesn’t even have to look up to know what’s happened.

Potter is here.

Draco slowly lowers the journal to his lap and learns that he is, in fact correct. Standing at the counter in a pair of ratty jeans and a giant hoodie is one Harry James Potter. His hair is ridiculous and his trainers have seen far, far better days, but he is, as always, infuriatingly handsome.

Except for the tension that Draco can read clearly in his shoulders, the way his eyebrows furrow in a frown, and the way he’s glaring suspiciously at the cashier. He has his reasons, Draco knows.

Late last year, some eight months ago now, Potter had come home from a mission to find his live-in lover in bed with not one, but two young men. Not just any young men, it turned out, but two young men who were high on the Ministry’s Most Wanted List.  Potter had arrested them all on the spot (Draco has to give him credit for a cool head under what had to have been rather stressful conditions). When the now-ex was out on bail, the first thing he’d done was go to the press and air all of Potter’s… Well, not dirty laundry exactly. None of what Potter gets up to in his own bed chamber is particularly sordid or shocking (some of it sounds like great fun, actually) but it is, well, private. 

And privacy is a luxury Harry James Potter has had very little of. 

Potter accepts his drink, and turns around, eyes scanning the room as if searching for the knife he knows is aimed at his back, but then he catches sight of Draco and something very strange happens.

Potter’s shoulders drop, the lines in his forehead smooth out, and then, shockingly, he smiles.

Draco blinks in confusion but no, his eyes are not deceiving him. Potter is raising his cup to his lips and taking a sip, never breaking eye contact, and then, after he swallows, that smile still playing about his beautiful lips, he starts walking toward Draco.

“Anyone sitting here?” His voice is low as he nods towards the empty chair next to Draco and for a moment, all Draco can do is stare at him, dumbfounded.

“Malfoy?” Potter prompts and Draco shakes his head.

“Oh, sorry. No. No one’s sitting there,” and to Draco’s deep astonishment, Potter sits down.

Potter leans back, cross one leg over his threadbare knee, and takes another sip.

“So,” he says, “how have you been?”

Honestly jikook are so f*cking confusing.

Like the start is clear for me....

Jimin showed so much affection to jk, jk was shy, cold, etc and pushed him away, jimin stopped giving him affection, jk realized he liked jm, he began following jm around, jm ignored him a little around 2015 but then jikook became inseparable.

Everything that happened after that made it pretty clear that jikook are dating.

But it's getting harder and harder to keep that belief as chapter 2 started.

Like in front of the camera, it feels like they rarely interact, they rarely meet, they're not close anymore, but then they had a trip to NY, jk's bed live which had some high level of flirting.

It showed jikook's dynamic like it was before chapter 2.

I mean they don't completely let us belief that they are still together because they barely interact online and somtimes say things which slightly indicate that they have nothing going on.

But then at the same time, they don't let us completely believe that they broke up because there's no way two exes act like how they act with each other even after chapter 2.

I mean look at NY trip.

Look at jk's bed live.

Jk's other lives.

Jimin's comments on jk's live.

There's no way two exes behave like that.

And I'm pretty sure jimin won't be talking so fondly about jungkook if they broke up. He probably would ignore jk if that was the case.

So like it's so confusing. I mean I understand they're very private but it's such a on and off behavior that it gets so confusing if they're actually together or if we're Imagining things.

I don't understand what's the point of shipping. Like what exactly are we supporting if we're not seeing anything. What are we here for?

The only thing we can do is enjoy their music. Shipping seems pointless now. Because even if they are together then what's our purpose? We're literally getting to see nothing. I'm not saying that jikook owe us anything. They don't.

But I'm just slightly confused how people still have so much interest in shipping if we're getting zero content. It's not like we're jikook'srelatives. We're fans. We require content. Don't we?

I don't know. To me it's getting boring to ship. Because there's literally nothing to see anymore. Jikook are not sharing anything with us. Which honestly is fine. But I don't understand what are shippers even doing? What are we getting out of this? Because the only thing we used to get was happiness after seeing jikook together. But since we're not getting that anymore why are we still here?

I'm sorry. Obviously people can ship whoever. But idk guess I just wanted to share my thoughts about the whole shipping thing.

I'm glad you are sharing...because I think there are other people who feel the same way.

Chapter 2 has been a time where it's hard to believe jikook is together. No matter what jikooker label you have. It's fair to question what the whole point of this is and to question where this is going.

I have the same thoughts about shipping or supporting or whatever people want to call it. With us or without us, jikook will either be a thing or not.

Perhaps a better term is just observers? Because that's what we end up doing.

Third wheelers?

Things have changed on screen. They have. Because life happened to jikook. Like real life stuff. And yes, they technically don't owe us anything but as observers we want something to see.

But off screen...

Jimin went to New York and that shows that there is much more that hasn't been visible and from there things have escalated and will continue escalating. In real life, jikook has always been. They have been behind the scenes for a bit now but they are still there.

Something changed (in regards to the stuff that jikook went through) and that's why we are able to see their interactions again. Decisions and pacts were made.

If jikook was broken up, we would see it. It's been visible in the past and it would be visible again if it was currently happening. Both Jk and Jimin behave a certain way when jikook is in a bad place. Like you said, Jimin would ignore Jk and only be civil with him. That's a huge sign.

What are people are getting out of this? For me, it's knowing that good things are coming for them. I look forward to whatever they want to share, whether it's their professional or personal lives. I'm still here because I know I haven't read things wrong.

If they share nothing, I will continue with my life normally and enjoy the music.

But let me tell you something...stuff is coming. And maybe that's one of the reasons I stay too.

So, I've heard this one is... bad.

He was in a chatty mood that morning, however, and had just settled me into the well-worn low armchair on one side of the fire...

Well that certainly went downhill quickly.

I'm going to just... skip over the rest of the description and focus on the question of how a grey suit can be loud. Does it have some sort of really obnoxious pattern on it? Honestly, this outfit doesn't even sound bad. Grey goes with everything and salmon isn't a colour I'd pick myself, but it's not bad particularly if it's paired with something neutral.

The rest is just racist nonsense and stereotyping.

Steve appears to have been erroneously accused of a murder.

I'm very confused about what the purpose of his visit was, though. At first he seemed angry on his own behalf, then it seemed like he was acting on someone else's behalf and he wasn't angry at all...

“It is this Harrow Weald case. It decides me to look into the matter, for if it is worth anyone's while to take so much trouble, there must be something in it.”

And now I'm confused about what this case is about. So it's not about 'Young Perkins'?

Are we supposed to think Steve did kill Young Perkins and that his alibi is false? I don't even know.

So there's actually someone else who's asked for help? Mary Maberley? Who lives in Harrow Weald? And Steve was just threatening Holmes about that?

A short railway journey, and a shorter drive, brought us to the house, a brick and timber villa, standing in its own acre of undeveloped grassland. Three small projections above the upper windows made a feeble attempt to justify its name.

The Dr Watson school of Architecture does not approve of your poor attempt at gables.

I really wish they would stop referring to other people as 'creatures'. This isn't even part of the racism here. It still annoys me, though.

Apparently not. So far we have been informed of 2 deaths and neither of them appears to be actually related to the case in question. That's a lot of death.

If we have learnt anything in these stories, it's that as soon as a person is willing to pay too much money for something, they're up to no good.

Then he strode across the room, flung open the door, and dragged in a great gaunt woman whom he had seized by the shoulder. She entered with ungainly struggle like some huge awkward chicken, torn, squawking, out of its coop.

"Just a little wheezy, Susan, are you not? You breathe too heavily for that kind of work.”

Holmes really doesn't like eavesdroppers. Which seems a bit hypocritical, as he's done it himself before. Or maybe he's just particularly aggressive this week.

“Now, Susan, wheezy people may not live long, you know. It's a wicked thing to tell fibs. Whom did you tell?”

WTF, Holmes?

It's not just me, right? This is extreme, even for Holmes, right? He just threatened her life. And then gave what seems to be an implication that lying will send her to hell. I... Holmes? Have you been replaced by a doppelganger?

“So, a rich man? No; you smiled—a rich woman. Now we have got so far, you may as well give the name and earn the tenner.” “I'll see you in hell first.” “Oh, Susan! Language!” “I am clearing out of here. I've had enough of you all. I'll send for my box to-morrow.” She flounced for the door.

Honestly, I'm Team Susan here.

And then Holmes... gives her medical advice as she goes?

This entire story so far is madness.

"You don't happen to have a Raphael or a first folio Shakespeare without knowing it?”

Holmes. I'm going to need you to think back over that question really carefully, and see if you can find the flaw in your own logic. Go on. I can wait.

"No, as I read it, there is something which you do not know that you have, and which you would not give up if you did know.” “That is how I read it,” said I. “Dr. Watson agrees, so that settles it.”

how different would the boy's lives be had they not been (forcefully) inlisted to the military?

would some have taken other forms of employment/career choice, or would they join the military like in the story but like, willingly.

Vastly different.

Mars would have been something like a rancher that cared for livestock, I think. Even though he has a scary appearance, the large beasts of the plains don’t seem to fear him.

Jupiter would probably help Ursa (outertale paps) work as this worlds equivalent to a Cub Scout or Boy Scout troop leader. Learning about the outdoors. Ursa would handle teaching about the flora and fauna, while Jupiter would teach them how to survive in the wild should they be ‘up shits creek without a paddle.’

Polaris (outertale sans) would also study the local plant and wildlife and end up as a professor at the university in St. Calibri. When he isn’t doing that, he also likes to learn about insects. He probably falls asleep while studying and some of them hitch rides on Polaris into the house, much to Ursa’s dismay.

(Their dad thinks it’s endearing, as Polaris makes sure they all get out back outside, safely.)

Red is a mechanic. Cars exist but someone still has to fix em when they break.

Edge would become quite the amazing cook and teach others how to cook.

Milord would be a lawyer.

Mutt would have ended up with a much gentler disposition. So eventually with how smart he is, he would have opened his own gardening or landscaping business.

Blue would be a sheriff/ the sheriff or a firefighter.“This town isn’t big enough for your troublesome antics, evil-doer!”

Orange’s laid back attitude makes him a good bartender/ keeper. (He’d run the saloon.)

Aster would be a doctor. (Granted that’s kinda the same as what he currently does. Though that’s a field medic.) He is very generous with his time and service to his community.

G would be a private eye. He has a natural charm and charisma that allows him to get closer to people than one normally would. Not to mention his intelligence and natural curiosity would make him a good sleuth.

Sans would be a deputy to Blue- doing a lot of the under cover work and ‘bad cop’ing. Actually getting the results as his more excited counterpart goes on the chase for the bad guys and all that fun jazz. He would also be the one to work with Milord for criminal cases, as well as Milord would be the on call lawyer for the jail.

Papyrus would be a handyman. If it can be broken, this master of all things ‘confusing contraption’ can probably fix it. Pluming, lightning, furniture. Etc etc.

Bonus:

The gasters-

Fell- He is still in the army as a top tier General. He was bossy from the day he was born and he’ll stay bossy long after he dusts. Where do you think edge got the audacity from? He learned it from someone and it wasn’t Red.

Swap- He would be a pre-school teacher. He didn’t earn his #1 Dad! Pin for nothing.

Starlord- He would study meteorology and probably be a forecaster.

Trocar- Like his son Mars, he has a way with animals. He would be a veterinarian.

Swiff (SwapFell Gaster) - Mans is a straight up fiend. He’s getting a head start on the brewing business for moonshine.

WingDing- He would teach mathematics at St. Calibri University…

Though he swears he doesn’t remember this. Any of it…

I haven’t watched the show, and did a bit of research on him. I hope I didn’t butcher the character and hope you enjoy!

Tsurugi Kinjo:

Considering his job, Tsurugi wasn't completely shocked that some criminal scum tried to frame him. What did shock him was how people actually believed the frame up. 

With his well known strength and intellect, Tsurugi was confident that he could catch the true killer himself, but grew more stressed as evidence came up empty and he was running out of time

He insisted he was fine and didn't need any help when you told him about your dad, (And being a police officer, he already knew who he was) but as usual, you didn't listen to him

He wouldn't admit it, but he felt better when your dad took the case, and the two of them seemed to click 

Sure, they were both awkward towards each other, but they both focused their attention to the case and was quite impressed by the other's ability

It takes very little time for the culprit to be caught, and Tsurugi's innocence to be proven

The case makes headlines, and Tsurugi and Monk are paired up on cases more often 

Despite being awkward, your father is able to catch on to some of Tsurugi's twisted ideologies and talks about them with him whereas Tsurugi helps your father face some of his fears

Tsurugi sees your father as an additional father figure for himself, and actually learns a lot from him! 

Tsurugi is happily welcomed into your family

Mitch was completely caught off guard and furious when he was framed as a killer. With his fame, the scandal blew up overnight, and almost everyone knew about it. He couldn't get anywhere without being swarmed by reporters. 

He used his money from soccer to pay for detectives and private investigators, not wanting to have to rely on his S/o's father, who probably wasn't happy that his child was dating a "killer"

With all the drama, a part of him believed you would just break up with him, maybe you had just dated him for his fame all along

He eventually snaps himself out of it, and despite usually being full of himself, he's genuinely afraid that you might face harassment because of this 

"Hey, Mitch..."

Here it was...

"My Dad's taking your case." 

"I know, I know. You want nothing to do with me- wait wha-"

You're the first person that Mitch dated who he genuinely is in love with, so he wants to make a good first impression on your dad (what do you mean being accused of murder isn't a good impression?)

He's a mix of awkward and trying too hard to be cool while he's scared he'll end up in jail, so he probably gets in the way of the investigation without realizing

You or your dad has to tell him to shut up-

When your dad has proven him innocent, it's safe to say that he had no idea what the hell was happening the whole trial, but he's extremely grateful

Him and your father manage some small talk, but don't interact much

He's a bit confused with your dads OCD and some of his phobias, but he tries his best to be understanding (Monk appreciates the effort)

Mitch and your father warm up to each other over time, and talk more, with Monk eventually confronting Mitch over his superiority complex

Mitch becomes more humble over your fathers actions and your father is slightly more comfortable talking to people

Kakeru Yamaguchi:

With his job as a lawyer, Kakeru always tried his best to stay out of shady business and avoided angering the wrong people, but it seemed his luck has ran out. He's defended and vindicated dozens of people, but now he'd have to defend himself, something he rarely had the guts to do. 

He put a lot of pressure on himself, looking over evidence all night, and even avoiding you so you wouldn't get wrapped up in the whole ordeal. Kakeru had always been terrified to meet your parents, and he sure didn't want it to happen when he's thought to be a killer.

Still, you knew that Kakeru was stressing too much, and he wouldn't be able to handle everything alone, especially if he kept pushing you away, so you asked your father to help him

Realizing what you did, Kakeru was actually a bit mad at you, but the stress of the situation made him break down, and you had to comfort him, so he forgave you for it

He's extremely shy and awkward towards your dad, so neither of them really talk to each other much

Kakeru is very understanding of your father's phobias while your father is understanding of Kakeru's shyness, so while they don't interact much, they mutually respect each other  It doesn't take long for your dad to warm up to him, but Kakeru still stutters while talking to him

In the end, Kakeru is vindicated within the first hour of the trial, evidence found by Adrian Monk introduced and explained by the Ultimate Lawyer ended the case in record time

Kakeru gets more comfortable with your father over time, and greatly admires him

Yamato Kisaragi:

What the hell did he get himself into this time? 

Yamato was shocked that he was being framed for murder of all things, and mostly had to comfort Mikako, who was terrified her brother would go to prison. Still, he had Tsurugi Kinjo on his side, along with his own smarts and investigative prowess

He probably didn't even need your father to help him, but wanted to meet him anyway

You had told him about how your father was rather introverted with a fair share of phobias, but as Yamato learned with Kakeru, what better way to open up someone than having them do what they're passionate about?

You were confused with his reasoning, but sure why not

He's extremely understanding with your father's OCD and phobias, and with their smarts, the two of them form a great pair of detectives

Yamato is vindicated quick, and the two of them become close, as Yamato creates inventions to help organize things easier, get rid of germs quick, and other things to help with your father's phobias

He introduces your father to Tsurugi, and always volunteers to help 

Just don't let your father see Yamato's workspace or dorm, he would probably pass out-

Utsuro:

By all means, his luck should have solved the situation easily.

So you can imagine Utsuro's surprise when he was still considered a suspect over a week later. He could get anything he wanted with less than a snap of his fingers, but somehow, he was still facing the possibility of going to jail for something he didn't even do. 

It annoyed him to no end. He was finally finding enjoyment in life, having an S/o he could trust, but after years of waiting for his stupid gift to leave him like everyone else, it finally did at the worst time possible

He doesn't object when you suggest bringing your father to help, as he didn't really expect your parents to like him even if he wasn't being tried for murder

Him and your dad don't really talk much, mostly just focusing on the case

Utsuro isn't bothered by your father's OCD, but can be mildly annoyed when he suddenly starts rearranging something

With his luck, he doesn't have any experience with phobias, but he tries to be understanding

After some time of going through the case file, your father suddenly confronts Utsuro, noticing the blanks in his past, his lack of parents or a home, etc

No matter how smart he is, he doesn't come to the conclusion of divine luck or anything so illogical, but he still expresses some concern, and Utsuro is surprised that he actually cares

Utsuro has his own set of go-to lies when it comes to his past, but your father debunked each one to the point where Utsuro wondered if you had actually told him 

In response, Utsuro asks your father about his past and phobias, and the two seem to learn a lot about each other. It would take Utsuro some time to trust Monk, but he gives him a vague yet accurate version of his past

When Utsuro is finally vindicated thanks to your father, he smiles

Kinji Uehara:

He would have never expected to find himself in this kind of situation. Kinji was shocked and a bit scared, but he kept his calm and prayed. 

When you told him about your dad, he didn't push the idea away, though he still didn't want your father's first impression of him to be behind bars

Kinji eventually agreed, as long as you didn't push your father into helping him, he was alright with it

He's extremely understanding and kind towards your father, taking care to sanitize everything he touches and rearranging items to help with his OCD. Kinji would never judge your father for his phobias, and compliments him on his attention to detail

Even if Kinji is on the quiet side, your father connects with him fast

Kinji is respectful and offers to help your father with anything, but also keeps to his distance to not interfere with his investigation 

Kinji couldn't be more thankful when his name is cleared, and thanks you and your father for your help

He’s grateful to have an S/o that stood by him during such an event, and helps Monk with his fears and trauma

Haruhiko Kobashikawa:

From the moment he's accused, he's terrified

Who would do this?? Why him?? 

He tries to pretend like he's not desperate for any help he can get, but he cracks after a few minutes and begs for your dad for help

He's a mix of trying to remain cool to get your dads favor and trying to make himself seem useful in the investigation 

He fails miserably at both, having no idea what's going on, freaking out at the lightest setback, and probably making your dad's job harder without realizing it 

He's respectful to your father's phobias, and probably tries to arrange things neatly so your dad's OCD doesn't kick in, but he ends up making a mess

Still, your father knows that he's trying and appreciates it 

When his name is cleared, he thanks your father profusely, offering to pay him or reward him somehow

Your father warms up to him more since Haru's no longer scared, and his dorky and kindhearted personality is brought to light

Teruya Otori:

When he's told that he's being accused of murder, he starts to cry as his own father demands answers

Teruya is terrified, and keeps telling you that it wasn't him, and please don't leave him..

You spent time comforting him and assuring that you knew he was innocent and you weren't going anywhere

He just clings to you, and doesn't let go until he's forcibly dragged away

You also have to comfort Teruya's father, who's frantic and worried sick, looking for the best detectives to prove his sons innocence, a giant contrast to the laidback and kindhearted man who invited you to dinner almost weekly 

When you bring up your own father, Teruya is a bit...unsure, because as desperate as he is, he doesn't want your dad's first impression of him being a terrified potential criminal, but his father immediately agrees, thanking you profusely 

Teruya tries his best to help your father, but gets confused and overwhelmed quick, feeling bad that the only thing he can really do is sit on the sidelines

He feels powerless, letting him and your father deal with his mess, but you hold him, and tell him that it wasn't his fault to begin with 

Teruya never gives up a chance to tell you how grateful he is to have you by his side during this

Teruya is always respectful towards your father's OCD and phobias, and admires him for his detective skills

When Teruya is proven innocent, him and Monk bond more, and he uses the chance to get to know the rest of your family

Teruya's dad and your dad become close friends!  DRA Yuki Maeda:

He’s mostly stunned when he’s framed, but it doesn’t take long for the fear to set in

He’s extremely happy when you and his mother visit him, and hugs the both of you 

Yuki is reluctant to have your fathers help, but his mother agrees before he can choose, thanking and hugging you until you can barely breathe

Yuki is respectful towards your father, his OCD, and his phobias, and mostly tries to stay out of his way

He tries to conduct his own investigation, not really expecting much since he’s just an ordinary kid, but eventually his own findings overlap with your father’s 

Your father is definitely impressed with Yuki and his deduction skills, and the two work together to put the pieces together

When Yuki is vindicated, he says your father did most of the work, and his mother invites the both of you to dinner

His mom is extremely welcoming towards the both of you, and is especially kind towards your father, thanking him for proving her son’s innocence 

Yuki and Monk have a relationship similar to Yuki’s and Tsurugi’s, as Yuki gives your father advice and your father awkwardly supports him

He was nothing but trouble. You knew that the moment you looked at him but that didn’t stop you from staying. It was supposed to be just a fun night out with your friends but it ended up with you being in a private room, slurring incoherent words, and giggling at every word that fell from his sinful mouth. He was cocky and controlling, he doesn’t care about anyone at all but himself and his mood changes faster than you can blink but that also didn’t stop you from choosing to wake up next to him every single day since that night.

He said that you were different. That nobody has caught his eye for years until he saw you and you believed every single word from his very sinful mouth. He made you feel special, wanted and cared for. He treated you like royalty while staying in his mansion but you knew that you should’ve left after the first night. He was a dangerous man who had no hesitations to kill whoever stood in his way. You were still convincing yourself that he was good for you and he would never do anything to hurt you… at least physically.

Lloyd was impatient and demanding. At this point you have a mental list of things that you can and can’t do just so you wouldn’t piss him off and have another night filled with him yelling at you, pointing out how stupid you are and how your brain will never be able to do its job.

“If you only listened to me, this would have never happened!”

“You’re so fucking frustrating it’s actually driving me insane.”

“Maybe if you knew how to follow my orders, this wouldn’t be happening right now!”

He would often follow that up with “What the fuck were you thinking?!” and sometimes you wished that he asked that without yelling so you can actually talk about how you felt and what was running in your head. All you wanted was to be in his arms again because as much as you hate to admit it, you’ve never felt safer in his embrace. Sometimes you also wish that you can deny your feelings so in that case, when the day comes, you will never have to explain them.

Hearing the footsteps approaching your shared room, you snap yourself out of your thoughts. You didn’t even notice that you were crying until you watched the door open and the 6 foot frame of your supposed lover entered the room and his eyes fell on you. Safe to say he was far from upset and frustrated and you were surprised to see that he had a genuine look of concern plastered all over his face.

“Sunshine, what’s going on?”

He walked closer to the bed and you just watched him. You were emotionally and mentally tired from living the same way for weeks. Constantly walking on eggshells in his presence and somehow, being an emotional punching bag. You felt the bed dip and you just looked at him with a blank expression as he sat at the end of the bed.

“Can you talk to me, sunshine?”

He tried to coax you into his arms but you didn’t budge. You kept looking at him while tears silently made their way down your face. Lloyd felt awful (and that’s an understatement) for he knew that he was the reason for your crying. He knew that we was the world’s biggest asshole for the past few weeks towards you and his pride was just bigger than the entire planet Earth for him to correct his actions as soon as he fucked up for the first time.

“You know Lloyd…”

Your voice was barely above a whisper from how tired and dehydrated you were.

“You made me feel like I actually mattered… but now I don’t know what to believe.”

His face fell along with his arms. You then hugged your knees to your chest as you were beyond hurt and confused, you don’t know why you’re staying but leaving him felt wrong to do. Everybody has their issues right? Lloyd is a dangerous man and he’s a bad man but you convinced yourself that it doesn’t mean that he should be deprived of love.

Sniffling as you look up at him, you continued:

“It sucks, you know… I miss you everyday and we live in the same place. It doesn’t make sense right? But that’s how I feel.”

Your voice was broken along with your heart. You just wanted to be with him again but he still felt so far away despite the fact that he was barely three feet away from you. Lloyd quickly took off his shoes before crawling towards you and wrapping you up in his arms as he planted a kiss on the top of your head. Pulling you into his lap, he started to rock you gently as he spoke:

“Sunshine… I-I don’t know where to start. I’m so sorry for how I’ve been with you. I know I hurt you and I want to treat you better… you’re not gonna leave me, are you? Please don’t…”

His voice also broke. Lloyd was only ever vulnerable around you and you know that you have him wrapped around your finger but the way that things were between the two of you was too much for you to handle. A person can only do so much.

“I’ll take a break from all this shit… we can go on a little vacation, would you like that sunshine?”

All he wanted was for you two to talk this through but all you could do was nod your head.

“Hey sunshine…” Lloyd smiled sadly.

“I miss you everyday too.” He said as he placed a sunflower on top of your grave.

I don't speak for all Jikookers but I know for a fact that if the Taennie Paris date happened with Jimin or Jungkook instead I would've just reconsidered the notion of them being a couple and considered the possibility if me having misinterpreted their bond all along. And if I can't seem to find a platonic explanation to some of their moments I'll consider the possibility of them having broken up. But I'd never think they're purposefully misleading us fans into thinking they're dating someone they're not or lying to us. That's just not how I think of any BTS member, including Tae. So seeing Tkkrs say he's using a beard sounds disrespectful to the kind of person I think Taehyung is. And I would think the same if it were any other BTS member. It has nothing to do with Jikook. Taennie doesn't make Jikook real. But it does make Taekook not real, at least in my book and how I think of Taehyung as a person.

Most Tkkrs are more focused on Taekook being a couple as if you couldn't possibly be wrong about this, when it's all interpretation of what you think you see. None of what Tkkrs believe in (Jikookers as well) is a fact. We're all just interpreting things differently. But it becomes toxic when you treat the nature of their connection as a fact that can't be disputed and you start making up scenarios and theories on why things aren't going your way. I've seen this with Jikookers too and I've sent asks to some Jikook blogs as well telling them to stop calling Jimin a liar for saying he hasn't eaten ramen with Jungkook yet. But like Tkkrs, they're not ready for this conversation.

None of us knows the nature of the bonds between Jikook, Taekook, or Vmin. I think Jikook are dating/dated (although I think they've taken a break possibly initiated by Jimin and Jungkook seems to not like it). So when they say or do things that doesn't align with the idea of them dating right now, I consider the possibility of them having broken up, or maybe I just misinterpreted everything wrong from the beginning (although I doubt it. But I'm willing to accept so if they ever come out with different partners). Taehyung has a visible partner right now and yet instead of seeing Tkkrs do the logical thing and accept that maybe they were wrong or at least consider that Taekook might have broken up (they look fine so it at least seems like you''ve misinterpreted their moments—which aren't inherently queer by the way) you guys say that Taehyung is faking a whole relationship. And this doesn't align with the kind of person I believe Taehyung is. He's sincere, and he takes pride in being truthful to himself. If he is dating JK, he'd just keep that part of his life private (he IS a private person after all) instead of faking a whole relationship with a woman he knows his fans hate and deceive and confuse everyone by playing both sides. That theory is plain disrespectful in my opinion and it baffles me that any Taehyung stan would think he'd this instead of just accepting that he's happy and in love (with the enemy lol).

That whole PR thing has been said about Larry and it made their shippers become the poster children of delusional shippers. Tkkrs are simply walking down the same path right now..

I know you think your are taking the moral highground here, but in reality you are showing that you are not actually an ally of the queer comunity. You put clear boundaries on what you expect closeted queer persons to act like. You are either ignorant or dismissive of queer history and queer reality. Let me set aside the Jikookery and Taekookery for a moment.

For closeted people, the best case scenario is being able to live in a so called 'glass closet'. They are able to not adress their queerness, are often speculated to be queer and have queer relationships, but it's never confirmed. There are some examples of this, but it's not common yet. In more progressive societies, queer people are able to come out more and more. It's still often a big step and more often than not goes with anxiety about being accepted. There are many (!) societies though, where all this is not a possibility. In some countries being queer is forbidden by law. The punishments for being queer are harsh and may lead to death or jail. These are the countries where gay men have to mary women and produce children. These are the countries where lesbian women have no choice but to be impregnated by their husbands. Are you mad at them too for being insincere?

Other countries (like SK) may have less legal restrictions for queer people, but societal standards still prevent them from living their life as they would like. These are the countries where a gay son knows he will never speak to his family again if he confesses he has a boyfriend in secret. That son might eventually take a female friend to his grandmother's birthday... just to get everybody of his back for a while. These are the countries where women, once the reach the age for dating, will be constantly questioned on having found a husband yet, because time is ticking and you have to settle down and have children. Women like this might cave to the presure and opt for an unsatisfactory, yet acceptable by society, relationship with a man. Or they might date a man every now and then, only to start sharing a house with their 'best friend'. Are you judging them too?

There are many, many countries where just being queer will get you harrassed, assaulted, or way worse. Do you really blame those people for having a beard or living an insincere life (because that's what it is), when that is what makes them physically and mentally safer than living an authentic life?

The above is still reality for many queer people anon. Do not judge them for having to choose a way to deal with their closet while the options to choose between are never great.

If you look at history, it won't take you long to find many articles about and interviews with formerly closeted queer artists. Boyband members are definitely not an exeption when it comes to closeting. Not every story is the same ofcourse, some artists chose to stay closted themselves others were advised to stay closeted, and some were forced to. Look up Lance Bass (Nsync), Stephen Gately (Boyzone), Ricky Martin, George Shelley (Union J), and there's many many more. Male artists, especcially boybanders, have to attrack a female audience. Having a gay artist is not profitable, because girls will know they won't have a chance. But also, being queer is so unacceptable in so many countries, the sheer homophobia in itself is often a reason to keep it a secret. And oftentimes, the bigger you get... the harsher the closet, because the 'scandal' of being discovered will multiply. Fans like you don't help anon. Because your reaction to a queer person maintaining their closet is not one of empathy, but one of shock and disappointment. You solidify their believe that fans will drop them if they choose to come out.

While artists, especially wealthy artists like BTS, have more means to assure their privacy (they can buy a certain safety), they still have so much to lose. They carry with them the fear of losing their career, and not only that... Tae and JK also carry the fear of all other members losing their careers because of them. That is a heavy burden to carry. Jikookers seem to think Jk and Jimin do not care about all these things and just do what they want, but I don't think they will ever sacrifice their careers and certainly not the careers of all other members as well. Who is to say even if Tae has an actual choice in this? What if his company came to him with this idea, they deem it neccesary, they are persuasive, they explain the pro's to him. What choice would he really have. While you think of Tae 'possibly' doing this as scandalous and deceiving, I see it as him dealing with his closet in the way he and his company seem fit. One of the Kpop standards I have trouble with is that Idol's are generally not allowed to date publicly, but in Tae and Jk's case this must've been some sort of blessing at times, because it meant they could just keep their relationship a secret just like all other Idols. But something like that cannot last forever. At a certain point even Idols reach the age that societal expectations come into play. With enlistment approaching, I can understand the timing of this.

To you Taennie might look real, but it check's of every point in the pr-relationship manual. Every Taennie 'event' was around a promo moment. I hope you'll adjust your views on a real relationship a bit, because this really isn't it.

This is actually quite funny to me. Because you are admitting that there is room for doubt and misinterpratation (while Jikookers keep screaming to me that there isn't), why don't you consider being wrong now if you admit there is a chance of being wrong. I have actually revisited my thought, and I still believe in Tae and Jk being together. Everything of the last ten years or so hasn't suddenly changed because this happened. I know for a fact that pr-relationships happen, this to me clearly is one. I know for a fact that queer artists are being closeted, this to me looks like they are. SO why should I just throw away everything I know, just because Tae and Jennie went for a walk. Tae is hardly faking a whole relationship at this point (that is what Taennies like to believe though) he went for a walk, took some pictures and wears some jewelry, that's actually it. You feel more comforted by Tae and Jennie using their real relationship to play with fans of two fanbases than you do with thinking Tae is dealing with his closet by having a fake girlfriend. The first option would mean you actually do think Tae capable of manipulation and not caring about his fans, the second option though... means Tae gets to live his life a bit more sincere in some parts, while only having to fake something for a short amount of time, all of this because society won't let him be actually genuine.

I could write even more about this anon, but it's already long. we won't agree on Jikook and Taekook matters, but I hope you'll at least think about closeted people with a bit more empathy.

But I'm willing to accept .... that is probably your most pointed comment anon. You are willing to accept a more heteronormative explanation. You are not homophobic to the core, I presume you are actually an ally (though a slightly misinformed one), but you still put boundaries on queer people. Closeted queer people are valid too, they need your support too, they don't need your judgement for them using beards as a tactic to stay in the closet. Is it messed up? Absolutely, but that is because of society... not because of closeted people wanting to be deceitful.
