Okokok, so I heard somewhere that the person who sings the original "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch" also voiced the original Tony the Tiger. And I like to headcanon the song as Mr Grinch having a degradation kink and absolutely loving the song (at least before his heart grew 3 sizes one day). In conclusion, this supports the Tony the Tiger x Grinch ship

Earworm quiz thing

Got tagged by @belphegor1982 for the "3 songs that have been in my head like an earworm" thing--

1. "It Works," Doc's first big number from the BTTF musical. Roger is absolutely delightful in this and it does get stuck in your head very easily.

2. Steve Barton & Elaine Caswell's cover of "Total Eclipse of the Heart," for obvious reasons, has been in my head since the last week. I know everyone knows the Bonnie Tyler version, but Steve was one of my very first Faves, and so I have a soft spot for this.

3. "Grim Grinning Ghosts," because Haunted Mansion still lives rent-free in my brain ever since Ksturf and I went on the ride four times last summer. I appreciate that the soundtrack version includes part of Paul's Ghost Host narration, and the song itself is incredibly catchy.

Is it ok if I ask. What do you think caused the grinch Tony break up? I can’t even recall when I first read your post or saw that other person’s fanart based on it. But it’s forever in my mind whenever I think of how Tony’s va happened to sing mean one Mr grinch.

I have genuinely never thought about it that hard. The idea of headcanoning Tony the Tiger as the Grinch's bitter ex based on the voice actor connection was just something I liked to shitpost about to annoy people (I'm pretty sure I first posted about it at least a year before the infamous thread), and I was as surprised as anyone else when folks randomly decided to treat it as a fanart prompt.
