Oblique Pride Flag
Oblique: a bi/pan/fluid/mspec+ nonbinary person
I recently came across some new mspec terminology from the Fluid Array FDN and decided to make flags for the terms that resonated with me. Oblique is a similar concept to biagonals (which I previously made a flag for) but for nonbinary mspecs that do not specifically identify with bi as a label.

More information under the cut about the term as provided by the Fluid Array FDN. Please keep in mind that Fluid Array FDN uses the term “bisexual” to refer to mspec/fluid people as a whole but the intention is to include non-bisexual mspecs as well. Flag concept/stripe meanings are at the bottom of the post past the cut.
Oblique (adjective): - (of a nonbinary person) bisexual
“his cousin is oblique but has never been to a gay bar”
- relating to or used by bisexual nonbinary people
“a oblique hiking club”
Oblique (noun): a bisexual nonbinary person. This definition includes nonbinary people who are pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, multisexual, fluid, open, flexi, non-monosexual queer, and unlabeled.
“Obliques have a knack for blending into a crowd”
[x]
“ We also use another word for non-binary people who are bi. Again, to be inclusive of all of our bi+ community and to include those who prefer to be under another umbrella such as the pansexual and panromantic community, the polysexual community, or the multisexual spectrum community, the word oblique was created. Oblique is in reference to oblique angles; angles that aren't quite right. Not quite "right angles", that is. The very essence of a queer angle is an oblique angle. In fact, the word queer, it is assumed, comes from an Old German word meaning oblique. There isn't a more perfect word to compliment queer. And as so many nonbinary people gravitated towards that label over the decades, and away from the labels gay and lesbian, it's the hope that non-binary bisexual people with also find a good rhythm with oblique. “

Flag Meaning
Each stripe on the oblique flag is a colour known to represent nonbinary people. White is very commonly used to represent nonbinary people on various different pride flags, yellow represents nonbinary people on the pan flag, green represents nonbinary people on the ply flag, purple represents nonbinary people on the bi flag and black represents nonbinary people on the omni flag. The stripes are diagonal to represent oblique angles.

BOP culture is the underrepresentation of trisexuals in media. Like seriously, we need more trisexual representation/characters!!! 😭
i don't have any artistic talent, but i encourage anyone who sees this to go write a book or tv show with a trisexual protagonist. because this anon is so right. bisexuals, pansexuals, polysexuals, and omnisexuals are all underrepresented, but i've never even heard of a book with a trisexual character at all.
