i had an idea ages back (that wound up becoming The Pheasant) for a fic where the Captain wakes up back at the house when he was alive and stationed there but with all the memories of his death and subsequent afterlife so he decides that, with his limited time on Earth, he needs to live his life to the fullest and be honest with himself, but along the way he runs into Pat in town who is alive now but doesn't know him, and then Thomas, Julian, Fanny, and he realizes something is very wrong and has to decide if he wants to fix it and get his friends back but return to death or leave his friends as strangers and live the rest of his life the way he never could but back in the constrictions of the time period and with no one on his side, but like....

"Hey, Y/N~ Would you like to--" But you were still on the bed. The monkey saw your tired face and how red it was; and his protective side clicked. "What's wrong?"

A cold and a high fever. It sucks. Also for you of course! How can Sun Wukong bring you to the mountain in that health? He pouted while nursing you, but also showered you with care. Wiping your sweat, bringing you water and fruit, talking you for hours... "How about some fruit? Or maybe some noodles? Any request it's my command, Peaches~."

"Would you be my husband?" It was feverish talk? Were you serious? You were smiling at him warmly, but your face was still red... And that request made the Great Sage's mind froze. He let out an heartfull laugh as the took your hand and placed his forehead on your shoulder. "You cheater!"

One of those days again. Just a really bad start that makes the rest of the day a nightmare. One thing that impacts the rest of the day and destroys any chance for positive self talk.

I can change moods pretty fast, but when I’m down like this, I feel completely stuck. I ask questions like:

“Why do I need to be here?”

“Why does anything matter?”

“Who would care if I was gone?”

“Nothing is important, life is meaningless, why carry on?”

Which of course, is not very good for me. I’m currently in this mindset but I’m hoping that putting it into physical words will help me see how awful it sounds and help me snap out of it. I do eventually but it sucks to be in it.

Book 2 au: sparring sessions and short hair katara

They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them
