So this turned more into a 'how did you and the turtle(s) start dating' type of thing, hope that's okay

Leo:

Long stares, strong eye contact and obvious feelings....but this boy is too nervous to ask you out at first

He memorizes any and all details about you whenever he can

He stares....a lot. He just thinks you're so pretty

He really likes your laugh, he'll do almost anything to hear it, but he doesn't like it as much when he isn't the one to make you laugh

The "first move" He ever made was movie night. Since it was October, Mikey picked a horror movie, much to your dismay and protest. You were shaking the whole time and when the villain went to attack the main character, you jumped and buried your face into his shoulder with a mumbled. Afterwards you sheepishly thanked him, holding his hand for a little bit too long as you were leaving.

From them on you sat by him every movie night. It's kinda your thing™️

If you spend the night he will offer you his room. And no he won't stay in there with you, he's too much of a gentleman with anxiety to do that.

But he likes it because then his pillows smell like you

You can see how he's shaking as he stands and comes over to the side of the bed. He awkwardly sits down, sweat dripping down his face.

"I've just worried I'm going to mess this up," He mumbles back, taking your hand in his and running his thumb along your knuckles.

"You're not messing anything up,"

He let down some of his walls and finally decided to open up to you....literally the next morning.

He was too nervous to sleep under the sheets with you so he's laying on all the blankets watching you peacefully snooze.

After a bit you wake up and exchange some "good mornings" and then he just straight up tells you he's got feelings for you

He tells you everything, his first impression of you, how beautiful he thinks you are, how he loves your personality and how he can't imagine himself with anybody else

And you're staring at him with half lidded eyes still trying to wake up. After you come to you confirm your feelings for him as well

He likes it when you watch him during training so he can show off his moves

After a bit (and lots of talking) he's finally comfortable with sleeping under the blankets with you. He uses you as a body pillow <3

He writes you poetry and puts them all around your apartment for you to find when he's not around so you'll always be thinking of him.

You and him go back and forth bantering for far too long, but things get really interesting when a cop starts to hit on you at another one of Verns parties.

Raph comes up to the creep to tell him to back off. The cop scoffs and continues flirting with you. Raph opens his mouth to tell him to kindly fuck off when...

"Actually, it's been...great....chatting with you but me and my boyfriend have to get going, I have an early morning at work tomorrow,"

Raph's jaw dropped.

Boyfriend. You said boyfriend.

The cop also freezes, allowing you to take Raph's arm and lead him to the door. In a daze he walks you home, even though it's freezing out, he's sweating.

He sheepishly asks why you called him your boyfriend while standing on your apartment roof.

"I hoped it would get that guy to shut up, why? Did it make you uncomfortable? I'm sorry I didn't-" You ramble, turning red.

"It's fine, I'm not uncomfortable," And I want you to call me it again.

"So, it didn't bother you?"

He shakes his head, wiping his sweaty palms on his pants, looking down at your shoes.

"Would you mind....mind if maybe I called you that again?"

"You....you want to call me your boyfriend again so the cop will leave you alone?"

You laugh, one hand touching his forearm and the other tilting his chin to look at you. "I want you to be my boyfriend, Raph"

His heart stopped.

From then on you two and inseparable. He adores the ground you walk on and is always showing off how even though he's not the best looking guy in the room, you chose him.

He knits you things all the time and his heart skips a beat when he sees you wearing them. Especially the mittens, your hands are so cute and small and fit perfectly inside the mittens he made you.

He may not understand your hobbies, but he loves hearing you talk about them

He almost passed out when/if you asked to workout with him. And don't think it'd be all funny sex jokes and stuff. This boy will make you a full workout routine based on your weight/height/strength and what you want to work on, he takes this seriously.

But if you don't workout that's fine too! If you even just sat with him in his workout room he'd be happy.

He laughs his ass off when you sass his brothers or put them in their place (respectfully and within reason)

I don't think he'd be jealous if he saw you hanging out with his brothers. Their always going to be a part of his life and seeing you getting along with them makes him happy. It's the two people he loves most in the world getting along.

Your name in his phone is either "babygirl" or "nice ass" there is no in-between and no it never changes.

Donnie:

Say hi to "I can't tell the difference between romantic and platonic interactions and genuinely have no idea how to flirt or be flirted with" 👋 (yes this is me projecting)

Bro literally can't tell if you're just friendly or have a crush on him.

He knows he's got a crush, he realized it a few nights ago when Mikey was making dinner and you were going to come over and he set up all your favorite plates and got your food all ready and Mikey made a comment.

"Why do you have Y/n's favorite meal memorized?"

Why did he have it memorized?

It was then he started to realize just how many things he knew about you, he unintentionally studied you

He knew which blanket was your favorite, what your favorite kind of shampoo was, and so many other things, he couldn't keep track.

Cooking is his love language. You don't have to be good at cooking, he wants you to help but he's happy if you just sit on the counter and chat with him

You co-own all his clothes and he has no problem lending you anything (he's missing 5 pairs of underwear and hasn't even batted an eye)

He falls for you a little bit more everyday. Sometimes it's seeing you nap on the couch, or awkwardly answer your phone under your chin while your hands are dirty, or even making small talk with Splinter while he makes his evening tea.

His favorite is when you grab his hand or arm when walking together, especially in public. He likes the stares of people realizing he's got a hot babe like you at his side.

List of ROTTMNT headcanons/rando ideas!

Disaster Twins Edition pt 2!

When sleep deprived Leo and Donnie they crave the others calming presence. They shift around like zombies trying to find the other. When they do it’s cuddle time. If they can’t the curl up on themselves and cry.

Leo, as a red ear slider, is known to aggressively beg for food should he miss a meal or two. Because of this Donnie keeps “Emergency Leo Snacks” ™️ hidden everywhere.

In turn Leo keeps a shallow tray of sand and water in his room for Donnie to pancake and bury himself in when stressed. Leo will feed him while he’s distressing, if only to watch him stretch his head out of the muddy sand.

Both boys can stretch their necks out really long. As turtle tots they often stretched their necks to freak out Splinter.

When the other twin is in trouble the other can tell. Leo gets a tingle on his left arm and Donnie gets a tingle on his right. Donnie has hypothesized that it a result of they’re little adventure conjoined. (A little idea from pt 1 of this.)

They can do a flawless impression of the other. Its something they could do from a young age. This was most definitely used for mischief.

Donnie has Autism. Leo has ADHD. Actually isn’t that just canon..? Eh-

As tots Donnie had to explain to Leo what it was to have sensory overload after an… incident. Leo felt horrible for stressing Donnie out with what was supposed to be a harmless prank. Even if Donnie had to say he forgave him multiple times, Leo vowed to make it up to him.

Hence! Leo’s gift for Donnie’s 9th birthday. It took a lot of bribery and blackmailing to get Splinter to allow it, but it payed off. Leo brought Donnie to a previously unused room in the lair, where he surprised him with his gift. A sensory deprivation tank in a nice dark room that was padded to be sound proof. After Leo explained the gift Donnie couldn’t contain his tears. Donnie didn’t leave that room for a whole week, and would only let Leo in for small talk and food. While he’s too big for the tank now he still likes going there. Its his and Leo’s secret spot now.

While neither Leo nor Donnie would ever admit it aloud, and would have to kill anyone who finds out, their favorite non Lou Jitsu movie… is: Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings. They watched it in secret when they were seven and fell in love with it. Donnie dresses as Tinkerbell and Leo dresses as Periwinkle when they watch it. Everyone knows this secret, but don’t dare say anything. Why ruin their little secret?

Hmm… theres an alarming lack of angst. That won’t do!

When the tots first met April Donnie was fascinated with her and was constantly orbiting around her and taking notes. Leo, as most boys do, got jealous. They had their first and only major fight when Leo confronted Donnie. In the end Leo suggested that April was Donnie’s twin now since he wanted to hang out with her so much. While Raph talked to Leo, Mikey had to console Donnie with good ole Doctor Feelings. It didn’t work. Leo ignored Donnie for a whole month, and each time Don tried to talk to Leo only to be shut down it mad his mental state worse and worse. Finally Raph and Mikey had enough and decided to give his brothers a much needed push… their idea of a push was to kidnap them both while they slept and lock them in a metal box until they talked things out. Which wasn’t bad per say. They just forgot to drill breathing holes in it. The near suffocating experience worked though! So yay?

Okay back to fluff!

Sometimes Donnie and Leo like to dress up and pretend to be the other twin. Mikey is the only one who knows. Raph is convinced they’re who they say they are and Splinter has his suspicions but can’t be sure. Mikey only knows because he walked in on them changing once. They bribed him with secret pizza for a lifetime.

Donnie and Leo have and run a Lou Jitsu fan group Discord. They are known for writing the most god tier in character fanfics ever!

After the events of the movie, the Turtles are more widely known and have an online fan community. Donnie and Leo know and keep it hidden from the others. Especially when they see the horrors of… shipping. Despite this they join the fan community for the lolz and watch with popcorn as they each post that the other turtle is better and watch the war start as people debate which turtle is better, hotter, smarter, etc.

Leo and Donnie have a gaming youtube channel where they use vtuber models that are just human versions of themselves. Mikey made the models for them in exchange for favors. They brand themselves as “The Twin Tubers”.

I return to deliver more fanart for Heroes that are half-scaled by @nicoleisaboat-blog ! Turns out combining my Rise hyperfixation with my life-long love for dragons is a sure fire way to get me to obsess over a fic. Well played.

So here we’ve got some full body sketches of my interpretations on how they look like as well as two more quick doodles from work.

(I feel like Raph is starting to compete with Donnie over being my favorite turtle. I mean

look at this guy. Look at him and tell me you wouldn’t die for him. You can’t.)

I wanna go over some design choices real quick (I’ll try to keep it short lmao)

Mikey is very Round™️ except for his horns which resemble the stickers on his plastron (as stated in the fic). Unfortunately I think they’d prevent him from fully retracting his head (I also think none of the others can retreat fully into their shells since their limbs, necks and shells are kinda massive compared to before. I do feel like Mikey would get the furthest tho).

Donnie is obviously the smoothest both scale wise and in regards to lack of horns and spines/spikes. Like I said before, shortish legs, long-ass neck and tail (bc softshell turtles’ necks extend). Kept all his tech and, most importantly, his eyebrows. Speaking of tech, his draconic battle shell was one of my favorite aspects to design even tho I normally hate drawing machinery. Figured I’d give it a dragon scale pattern to fit the aesthetic and I think it works well. Also, snoot.

I absolutely love how Leo turned out. Braincell 1 was like ‘what if we gave him this kinda snout’ and braincell 2 went ‘absolutely based, let’s do it’. His red “ears” extending all the way to the tip of his tail is an awesome idea and I wanted to make them a bit jagged bc parallel lines are Boring. I broke up his “mask” so it’d be a bit more expressive and to have some extra variation between all of them (it does extend almost all the way to his shell on the back of his neck). Possibly my favorite design element is that the base of his antlers look like the base of his ōdachi!

Raph still is the most armored among all of them but like, dialed up to 11. Extra hard massive shell, scales extra spikey, alladat. I also gave him multiple rows of spines kind of like an alligator. He has the shortest neck relative to body size among all of them, mainly because I feel like bulkier, heavier dragons tend to be more stocky or “compressed” I guess (plus variation value. I wanted them to be 100% distinguishable even without looking at their shells).

As you can see I am obviously Very Normal about this AU.

Some Kyle Headcanons I Have:

-Short, short, short, springs up to either 5’4” or 5’7” and never grows after that

-He loves his curls but keeps them in the hat because it keeps them out of his face (and he puts it into a ponytail b/c he isn’t giving anybody/anything the opportunity to yank it — he eventually goes no hat at all in 10th grade)

-9/10 is probably Autistic (is also fairly good at masking)

-Has OCD, can’t convince me otherwise

-8/10 has BPD or Bipolar

-Sleep? What sleep? His schedule is an on-and-off relationship

-Gay and Demisexual af

-On the basketball team, volleyball team, track team, and does winter sports recreationally because he’s a sporty boy

-Is also apart of theatre club, student council, and debate team because he wants as many extracurriculars on his college applications as possible (also, he enjoys being apart of various things he takes special interests in)

-He’s really good at playing musical instruments (guitar, violin, and piano specifically) and writing compositions but keeps it mostly to himself for various reasons, most involving Stan

-Insecure af to the point he never actually notices when someone is crushing/in love with him because he’s a) believing he’s undeserving or unlovable, b) oblivious as all fuck, c) misinterpreting all the social cues, or d) all of the above (insecurity is pretty/kind of canon though, lol) 😅

-Adding onto above that he’s praise driven and approval seeking to the point he looses his sense of self trying to live up to others expectations and opinion of him

-Sweater vests, turtle necks, and button-ups with corduroy or dark-coloured slacks (but also sweats when he’s wanting a lazy day)

-Goes back and forth between indie pop and alt. Rock music (his playlists are a mix of both)

-His anxiety and sadness almost always presents as irritation/frustration, so everybody typically assumes he’s pissed off when it’s the exact opposite (which then causes him to actually get angry later on)

-Contrary to what others around him think, he keeps most of his thoughts and feelings to himself (bottled up inside of him). While he’s almost always vocal about his opinions on the world and people around him, things that pertain specifically to himself are kept hidden because he doesn’t want to burden others with his issues (after all the problems he’s had with Stan or seen from him— he feels just as unheard by his sbf and others but he doesn’t feel like he can actually talk about his own problems, especially when Stan has a habit of going into “woe-is-me” and making it all about Wendy or Randy)

-He never actually had a crush on Heidi and has only thought of her as a good friend— his obsession over it was mainly due to two different facts: the first, he saw parts of himself in Heidi (smart, strong morals, wanting to extend a hand to others) and didn’t like he could see himself in that position (abused/misguided) and felt he needed to destroy it so it wouldn’t destroy a metaphorical version of himself. The second, he wasn’t about to turn a blind eye to verbal/emotional abuse, manipulation, or even assault (which, considering Heidi was vegan and Cartman switched her food and lied about it -food tampering- is considered a form of assault, especially as introducing meat proteins to someone who’s been vegan for even a couple of months or year can cause the individual to become physically sick) and his concern was misinterpreted by the girls (who didn’t seem to give a shit about it as they already tried convincing Heidi in a way that pushed her right back into Cartman’s arms and made her less likely to look for help, sadly) as him being in love and Kyle just went with it because he’s impressionable

-Hand gestures (talking w/ hands) and yiddish/hebrew are a must for emphasis— and for insulting people without getting in trouble at school 😈

-Everyone wants to do him, he only wants to do like 2 people if any at all

-Apart of the Petty, Dramatic Bitch™️ Squad (made up of himself, Cartman, Bebe, and Kenny, for clarification)

Playable Characters of The Quarry as Animal Crossing Villagers

Only one of them has a name match villager so we’re going on ✨vibes✨

So since I want my island to have each of the personalities I sorted everyone into their closet fit. Though there is going to be one double since there’s eight personality types and nine of them. This is my fourth attempt to make this since tumblr keeps closing my draft so forgive me if I don’t expand on any part of my reasoning

Laura: Normal

I read through the wiki for her and each of the personalities in animal crossing and I feel like normal fits her best.

Our girl wants to be a vet one day which. 🫢ANYWAY I think we can safely say that puts her in the nature hobby.

She’s got a very chill fashion sense from what we see, baseball cap and all so I think we’re looking for a more simple cool style. Possibly active as well so Bea, Olive, Sandy, or Stella.

So we’re down to colors. Laura wears a pink hat (though an argument could be made that it’s red) and a brown plaid flannel around her waist. So there goes Sandy. As Olive wears a brown top, Bea is brown, and Stella is pink and wears pink.

Okay I know her style is described as simple, but her color scheme has more bright colors than I see our girl vibing with.

As much as I want to give it to Bea since Laura is turning into a werewolf is an inevitability and there’s not a wolf option, I’m giving it to Olive because of her more muted color palette. Also as I said in the beginning, this comes from vibes and I really feel like Olive matches Laura better.

Max: Lazy

I don’t like the idea, but the wiki describes him as having a lack of ambition and being easygoing

Since he’s also characterized as the class clown, so definitely a play hobby. Which gives us 34 candidates.

His outfit in the game is “blue jacket, green T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and brown shoes” which sounds pretty simple probably a simple/cool combo like Laura. 17 candidates remaining.

We’ll he’s wearing green and blue so let’s do who likes/wears those colors. Oh. Oh no. So we’ve got Joey, Marcel, and Pudge

*sigh* well Joey wears a literal diaper and Max isn’t that incompetent, but he’s also not pretentious enough to be Pudge which means our winner is Marcel. 🥲 I’m fine.

Emma: Snooty

I’m not justifying my selection of snooty for her and I don’t think I need to.

I almost don’t want to go in depth about her having the fashion hobby for the same reason, but the wiki describes her as dressing more feminine than the other counselors so it sounds appropriate to me. So there are 32 Snooty villagers with the fashion hobby.

She wears “a green long sleeved turtle-necked shirt that shows off her midriff, black jeans, and white socks and sneakers.” Which sounds more cool girl to me so we’ll take out the ones without cool in their style. 9 remaining.

Okay she wears green let’s see who wears green or likes green… wow that narrowed things down a lot. Just two villagers remain: Opal who is Green or Freda who likes green and is wearing green.

As much as I adore Opal to like the ends of the earth, I’m giving it to Freya. I think her vibes match better.

Nick: Smug

This man wasted no time shoving his shooting victory in Jacobs face over the Peanut Butter Butter Pops also fine he was infected but big dick Nick? Really?

He’s not athletic enough to be a jock villager, but I think we can at least give him the fitness hobby. Which actually narrows us down to four already.

His outfit is pretty chill and he’s definitely supposed to be the Cool Guy™️ so cool style gives us two options Huck or Lucha.

I don’t like it one bit, but since Lucha is actually red which is a color we do see Nick wearing. He gets it.

Dylan: Lazy

This one does have ambitions, but he’s still pretty carefree and relaxed so we’ll stick him with lazy as well. Also his last name Lenivý is Czech, Slovak, Belarusian (лянiвы), Polish (leniwy) and Russian (ленивый) for "lazy". So.

I’m not seeing a lazy villager with music hobby and only one with Education. But Doc? Ehh. So we’re gonna look at him and nature hobby (quantum physics is like vaguely close to nature right?) lazy villagers and if he still makes it he makes it but I doubt it

His outfit is pretty simple. T-shirt and jeans. About as simple as it gets. So either just simple or simple cool

Uh he’s just wearing a grey shirt so we can’t really bring color into this..he does have a wolf tattoo, but we don’t have a wolf option.. so it we’re just down to vibes.

Personally I think Erik would be a hilarious option since his catchphrase is chow down and he’s scared of werewolves, but Weber actually kinda looks like him so I’m giving it to him.

Kaitlyn: Sisterly

Sisterly. I am an only child so maybe I’m wrong here but Kaitlyn seems like the fun older sister of the group

She’s got a sporty vibe so we’ll say fitness hobby which gives us 6 villagers to pick between

She wears a yellow hoodie so let’s look at villagers who are/wear yellow.

… okay listen. I know it’s Mira. Her fashion is cool and active, she wears and likes yellow. I don’t have a real reason to disqualify her so for this post Kaitlyn is Mira on my island though I’m having Phoebe because I feel like her vibe is more fitting

Jacob: Jock

Do we need to go into this? Be serious.

I know fitness is right there, but I actually think the play hobby is more of his vibe.

His outfit is a green overshirt, a blue undershirt, and black pants. Sounds pretty simple. And we’ll go active because he is a jock after all

Alright now green and blue outfit so who likes/wears those colors we got 6 candidates left.

Funnily enough our wearing and likes leaves us with a green villager that wears blue and a blue villager that wears green. And of the two I think our boy Bam is the better fit

Ryan: Cranky

I feel like Ryan’s brooding loner deal puts him in the smug category. Also he isn’t listening to music it’s a ✨podcast✨ which I like podcasts too but he gives off that indie oh you haven’t heard of it vibe.

Okay as I already said he’s not listening to music, he’s listening to a podcast. I’m giving him the music hobby anyway which gives us 14 candidates.

His whole thing is brooding loner so 100% cool fashion which… only eliminates two villagers.. but his outfit is also pretty simple emotionally I will never recover from Roscoe being disqualified

Okay so his outfit is black and white so our final three are Apollo, Chief, and Groucho. I’m not really a fan of any of these being him. Chief is more fem than I see Ryan dressing, Groucho looks too anxious, and Apollo.. okay fine my only reason against him is not wanting a patriot on my island but he’s passed through the other disqualifications so. Apollo gets the part. No one talk to me I depresso

Abigal: Peppy

Okay granted peppy is the only one left, but I do feel like it fits her best regardless. Peppy villagers are described as energetic, friendly, and overly excited, allowing them to get along easily with many villagers and that definitely sounds like her were she you know.. not living a nightmare..

Apparently she was the art tutor at camp and a pretty good teacher at least according to Nick so I think education sounds appropriate. Oh. Um… well since there’s not really another hobby that fits her and the only peppy education hobby is Shino so um
