The sun shines brightly across the clear blue skies, the soft chirping of the bird's song echoes throughout the neighborhood.

The patter of bare feet slapped across the kitchen floor, running around hastily as a young girl start opening many...and many cabinets, looking for something hidden inside.

"Ugh, now where the heck is that flour...I could have sworn it was here..." Letting out a grunt, moving on to the next cabinet "Ah!"

Inside the wooden space lay a small sack, seemingly untouched "Found it!" You hummed happily, reaching inside to grab the sack of flour

Closing the cabinet behind and went to grab the baking powder in one of the kitchen shelves, "Aki, can you get the butter from the refrigerator? Make sure it's the unsalted butter!"

"Sure" Grabbing the butter from the refrigerator as he turn his head towards the girl rushing around the kitchen counter, carrying some ingredients in her arms "is that all?

"Yeah, and oh! Don't forget to wear your apron" You said while placing the ingredients down on the counter "You can borrow my dad's apron, it's on the hanger next to the oven on your right"

"Alright" Akito noted.

"Okay, I think we got everything, right?" Standing in front of the kitchen counter before you are various ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, unsalted butter and vegetable oil.

You cheered "Now we can start the cooking!"

"Why do I have to do this?"

"Oh come on, you know it's for our school festival, it's not that bad"

"And how do you expect me to trust that you wouldn't do anything stupid?"

"Hey! I can be nice once in a while too"

"... almost never" He smirks.

"I can't believe you!" You whined, puffing your cheeks up "Just trust me this once please?"

He stare before sigh in defeat "... Alright"

-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈ Some time later...

"They actually do look good" Akito smiles proudly at the sight of a very fluffy pancakes sitting nicely on the white plate, looking very delicious to devour "We are missing the syrup, where did you put them anyways-"

He paused himself when he felt the weight of powdery all over his hair. Akito reeled back, surprised and stared at the culprit in question: you

You only narrowed your eyes, grinning "Oops?"

Oh, it's on.

Before you could act, Akito grabbed his own handful of the white powdery and start throwing them at the girl, letting out a squeak in surprised when it's successfully hitting her cheek, covering her face in white which he laugh "Oh hello, miss clown, lovely weather today?"

"Oh, why indeed, it's a nice sunny day outside, isn't it mister popsicle, lovely hair you have right there by the way!" You looked at him with a playful smile before taking more flour and tossing it at the male.

"You ask for it!" He hide behind the counter for cover and plan his next attack.

...and the next few minutes, the room is filled with laughter and running with the floor and counter being covered by a large amount of flour. So white that they can see their own footprints tracing behind them as they continue playing their cat and mice game.

“Okay, okay you win!” You raise up your hands, surrendering.

"Are you sure?" He stood up from his hiding spot, walking towards you cautiously.

He was so focused on your face that he didn't notice the sweet and thick liquid on the tip of your fingers. Good.

"Yeah, you can see I don't have anything on me right?"

"Hmmm..."

When he was close enough, you took the opportunity to smears the syrups on his nose and cheek which he stagger backwards in surprised "Wha-"

"Hehe, aren't you a sweet one?"

"Why you little minx, get over here!!"

"Nah uh!" You squealed as another heap of flour hit the back of your dress, trying to make your escape but you were easily cornered with his arms around your waist and...

"Noooo!! Stop!!!"

You start laughing uncontrollably as he started tickling your sides up and down "Okay, okay, okay I surrender!! Just please stop hahaha!!"

“Promise?” He asked, narrowing his eyes at her.

“Yeah, Promise so please!!”

"Alright" He remove his hands slowly as you take a few moments to breathe.

The whole kitchen is a complete mess as if a tornado just come in and ruin the place. The poor pancakes are probably cold by now...

"This is going to be a pain to going home like this, I hope you know that"

"Aww, don't say that, you were so into the fight too, you can't lie to me!"

"Shut up before I kiss you"

-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈ Aftermath...

"(name), we're home! What do you want to eat for dinner to-WHY IS MY KITCHEN A MESS?" The older man was staring in disbelief at the white powdery covering the room as his daughter was awkwardly standing there.

"Oh hey, mom dad...I can explain..." You mumbled under your breath. Uh oh.

Akito bow his head "I'm so sorry miss and mister (surname), I did tried to stop her from playing around with the flour"

"Oh dear..." Your mom sighs, disappointed.

"(name), you're going to help me and clean this up" Your dad said, rolling his sleeves up.

"WHAT? Mom Dad! He is lyingggg, he was playing around too!!"

"Now now, don't bully your own boyfriend now"

"I'M NOT"

Hi!! Your texas sun fic broke my heart into a million pieces and put it back together. I can't put into words how much certain moments from the story mean to me, how much they haunt me in the most beautiful way, and how much they helped me during a dark time. I often think about your words and your scenes and the way my heart hurts for all of the characters and misses them and loves them is something I can't even begin to describe. Like I'd be here writing a literary analysis of every single chapter if I had the time. I love it so much. All of the feelings - the yearning, and humour, and hurt, and grief, falling in love, denying it, being afraid, but surrendering after all, I felt all of it with them. 1/n Oof, it sounds lovely to be called the 'hermanos stan' :D It's been nearly 2 years and I still miss them, so it's such a pleasure to talk abt them with you! No, I didn't think you'd heard of it but Cricket as a sport is extremely popular where I'm from, even moreso than Football! You can't really avoid it this time of year which is why I put all my annoyance into Andrés lol. Yeah i agree, I think Sergio looks at it more as a team bonding "exercise" that is helpful even if he doesn't have any great liking for it, and when he watches like he said, he's more interested in rooting for the underdogs. Andrés too is probably just a casual watcher so the idea that they both assumed the other was OBSESSED is hilarious to me, it makes them feel more like real siblings growing up together and trying to find some common ground :')

They are the Real~ canon to me asdfjsk, and I'm sure andrés would agree!

Your review on Corners + what you're saying here makes me :') That's literally how I envisioned it too, and why Corners is so special to me despite being such an odd little fic. It was the one (aside from substitution) that built most from the Andres of s1/2, and a part of how I imagined he could become someone as insane and terrifying as Berlin. And YET the spinoff is telling us berlin was just his evil twin or something?? Exactly LMAO what even is with those space suits? At what point did he live in a romcom when the whole point of his character is that his romanticized life only exists in his own head? s3/4 Andres was "softer" but he still had plenty of the darkness and edge that would lean into Berlin. So I'm glad my fic could fill that gap haha and I"m hugely honored you feel this way about it!

n/n LOL My absolutely self indulgent and utopian idea of a Berlin spinoff would just be the extended version of "Hermanito", the hermanos as kids becoming the Professor and Berlin as we know them, but seeing how 2 kids growing up in poverty and illness make it and rooting for them, and maybe even exploring how their different personalities and moralities (!) play off each other, there's so much to think about there. But ofc, what we REALLY need are more rafaels and characters no one cares abt 🙃 Ohh I'm just happy EC fit with your ideas about him and andrés, I would LOVE a hermanos centric event omg, if and when it ever happens!! Ugh I need to write this down somewhere because I am so emotional rn. On Tuesday my partner and I found an abandoned tiny black kitten in the middle of the highway. It is a long and complicated story but it was terrifying and yes we stopped traffic to save him. We wound up bringing him home and caring for him for a couple of days, now he is getting medical help. He will be on watch for a few days and we are just so riddled with worry, and we miss him terribly and can't stop worrying about him. My friend who helped us care for him the day we found him is also so worried, we are just texting back and forth all day stressing ahhh. One of us is going to adopt him so long as they allow us to. I just can't take my mind off of him, I can't distract myself at all. I have jiji things all over the house too and every time I see them I feel like I will cry.

My bunny was also abandoned, we found him in the street, and I just... if there was one thing I could change in this world, it would be for animal cruelty to stop. I keep snuggling my bun and thinking about the little kitten and I am just so so sad for him and every animal who is hurt by terrible people. Please hang in there little man❤ we will give you the best life possible and love you so so much.

Oh god how do you expect me to answer this when there is so much I want people to see of my stuff and literally everyone else's stuff is amazing too. Oh boy.

The art I'm most proud of is probably this one. It's the MLT still shot I drew when it came out, and I'm pretty proud of it. I just kinda drew until it looked right and it came out pretty good. And for fic I'm just gonna promote iridescent rainbow cause it's what I'm working on and I like it and I'm proud of it. There's post-it notes, butterflies, they/them crises and more. If you want a cute fic about Wille and Simon falling in love through grocery lists and post-it notes while Wille goes through a spiral of anxiety and angst as they find themself after completely rehauling their life and trying to just live as a normal person with no ties to the monarchy with things finally looking up as they get the support they need, that's the fic for you.

I wanted to add a normal gif. something cute and simple. but then I saw this and I had to.

What I love about them: what's not to like?? I love his sass, as shown above. I love his loyalty. I love his brain. I love his epic love story with Mickey. I love his relationship with his siblings. I love how protective he is of the people he loves.

What I hate about them: not a hate, but I'm not a fan of all the violence between him and Mickey. I know, that's how they roll, southside and all, but still.

Favorite Moment/Quote: there were many iconic moments, but the first one I thought about was "Is Mickey adopted?" to T*rry because KING SHIT. also early seasons, the hearteyes look he gives Mickey when M first kisses him. you know, when he's the getaway driver while the Milkoviches are robbing a house and Mickey gets shot in the ass and Ian's old ass boyfriend has to operate on him on the Gallagher's kitchen counter. god I miss this show.

What I would like to see more focus on: is this still relevant? anyway, I want more domestic fluff. also, dad!Ian. also, better communication between him and Mickey.

What I would like to see less focus on: ugh, idk... it was pretty okay, considering it was Shameless.

Favorite pairing with: gallavich for the win, obvi. I started the entire fucking show because of them and a highly misleading promo that showed the s7 goodbye completely differently, but I'm not going on that rant again 🙃

Favorite friendship: Mandy! ❤ and Lip! 💙 imagine if Lip got his shit together and he stayed with Mandy. the power the Mandy-Lip-Ian-Mickey quartet would have.

NOTP: I think the only other serious relationship he had was Trevor? Travis? something like that, and I liked him a lot, so it's not a notp. maybe a notp bc he deserved better than Ian, who was still in love with his ex. but again, it's Shameless.

Favorite headcanon: Ian and Mickey tease each other over their horrible tattoos all the time. 😌

UGH I MISSED YOUR ASKS❤

Season 1: My top 3: Bebe, Nina, and Shannel

Pros:The introduction of an era. There queens were so fierce paving the way for others after them. They were all very real and even thought the budget was low, it made it feel even more authentic somehow? Like real gritty drag

Cons: The Vaseline filter made stuff really hard to see and the budget was really low which makes a lot of fans disregard this season but the queens deserve better. Also the prizes were super ridiculous and tiny.

Favorite Moments: Shannel thinking she should’ve won every challenge, her lip stick story about Patricia. and just her general delusions. Nina’s HIV moment.

Season 2: My top 3: Raven, Tyra, and Morgan (sorry I love Juju but she literally won zero challenges lol)

Pros: The season that set the standard and really got the show on its feet. Before this season, people thought Drag Race was just a low budget reality show (which lit was) but after s2 other popular queens and fans started to take it a bit more seriously. The cast was AMAZING, literally every person was iconic in some way. And the girls were real and shaaaady as hell. Plus s2 untucked remains unmatched.

Cons: tbh I can’t think of many. The runways I guess were a bit lackluster compared to others, but even then they weren’t the worst. Everything else was kinda perfect!

Favorite moments: All of Raven’s confessionals, literally every single one. The stripper challenge and the resulting lipsync that Raven absolutely murdered. The wedding episode. Every single episode of untucked.

Season 3: My top 3: Raja, Yara, Manila

Pros: THE RUNWAYS. And all the design challenges, even though they were clearly exhausting for the girls, they gave us some of the most creative looks on the show to this day. This season really showed that drag could be fashion and couture. The girls were still shady and fun, Shangela stirring the pot and fighting with queen Raja was entertaining as hell to watch. The challenges were great and untucked was obviously amazing.

Cons: The season was a little long. I don’t mind any excuse to see more drag race but bringing Carmen back for one episode was kinda dumb and unnecessary. Also the heathers vs boogers thing was kinda juvenile and annoying after an episode.

Favorite moments: Every single one of Raja’s runways. Like every time she stepped on the runway I held my breath waiting for what she’d bring. Tulle gate. Shangela’s sugar daddy speech. All of Mariah’s confessionals.

Season 4: My top 3: Sharon, Chad, Willam

Pros: Sharon really changed what people thought drag could be, and it wasn’t always pretty and glamorous. Even though her runways weren’t always expensive, her creativity shone through and she sold those looks! The cast had really great chemistry this season as well.

Cons: Other than my top 3, the runways were pretty bad and bland. Also as much as I like Phi Phi now, she really got on my nerves on s4. I love a villain but Phi Phi wasn’t fun, she was just really harsh and defensive. I preferred Willam as a villain. Also other than the top 4/5, the rest of the queens kinda felt like filler

Favorite moments: Sharon’s apocalypse runway, Willam generally stirring up shit and being obnoxious lol. I especially loved his confessionals, I wish he would narrate every season.

Season 5: My top 3: Roxxxy, Alaska, Detox

Pros: This season had a STACKED cast. Every queen was so entertaining and amazing. Roxxxy is a drag god, Detox is a fashion goddess, Alaska is like the epitome of drag race, Jinkx is one of the most diveresly talented winners, Alyssa Edwards? Icon! And so many more! Untucked was still fun and shady, and the challenges were amazing.

Cons: This season is when I started noticing untucked was getting really over-edited. As much as I still enjoyed it, and would take it over the wet blanket untucked we have now, it did get a little ridiculous at times. Also I still think Roxxxy should’ve won lol

Favorite moments: Just Alyssa Edwards, everything Alyssa said and did. Everyone vs. Serena. Roxxxy’s candy couture look.

Season 6: My top 3: Bianca, Courtney, Dela

Pros: This was a really talented cast and it was the last season of really good untucked. Like her or not, Bianca totally slayed this season and it was fun to watch. Also it was the first season with fpr so of course that’s always a plus ;)

Cons: Some of the judges decisions were a little questionable, they kept Adore way longer than they probably could have because she was young and popular. This was really the first season I could blatantly see the producer manipulation behind the scenes, and I think it was the beginning of the show playing toward the audience likes/dislikes.

Favorite moments: Everything from Laganja and Gia (god bless team too much). All of Laganja’s meltdowns were so entertaining, although looking back its kind of sad knowing the circumstances. Also her stand-up comedy routine was one of the funniest, most cringe inducing moments throughout the seasons.

Season 7: My top 3: Violet, Ginger, Katya

Pros: Really great runways and runway themes!

Cons: This season kind of marked a change for me in terms of the show. It was the beginning of the show going more “mainstream”, and the fan wars starting to get absolutely insane. The change in untucked was not great, it made things seem slow and unexciting. And for a season full of fashion queens there way too many acting challenges. This season really lacked and all-around, versatile queen.

Favorite moments: Ginger in the John Waters challenge, the runway themes (especially the ridiculous conjoined twins runway)

Season 8: My top 3: Bob, Naomi, Kim

Pros: This season was entertaining, the challenges were good and seeing Bob absolutely kill it was fun, very much like Bianca in s6. Also the introduction of Naomi Smalls aka the lovechild of my 2 favorite queens.

Cons: Other than the little bit of Naomi vs Derrick drama (thank god for them giving us something) this season felt like Rupaul’s Best Friend Race. When I re-watch this season I often skip untucked completely because it was so bland. Also it was a short season which made it feel almost unfinished.

Favorite moments: Naomi’s book ball and makeover looks, Bob in the political campaign challenge, Bob in the Empire scene. Kim’s awesome makeup.

Season 9: My top 3: Shea, Trinity, Valentina

Pros: Really strong cast of queens, cool runways and good challenges. The girls tried to bring a little drama in untucked, and the reunion was the most epic since season 2. Valentina became an absolute icon.

Cons: This season was sob story central. I wasn’t a fan of the producers forcing a new sob story out of the queens every single week, it really brought the energy of the season down. Also I didn’t like the change of finale format. Deciding the winner of the season based on 2 lip syncs at the end kinda made the whole season seem pointless.

Favorite moments: Even though I didn’t like the format, Sasha’s “So Emotional” lip sync was incredible. Val’s mask incident. The whole reunion episode.

Season 10: My top 3: Aquaria, Asia, Monet

Pros: This cast was really amazing! So many talented queens and a lot of really cool and creative challenges. Untucked was a bit more exciting, at least in the beginning, it felt like a beginning of a return to what we love about the show

Cons: After eliminating all the really strong personalities and some lackluster challenges, the end of the season really dragged. The show has seemed to be having this problem lately, the momentum dies out by the end of every season. Also the reunion felt mostly uncomfortable instead of fun and shady like its supposed to be.

All Stars 1: My top 3: Chad, Raven, Jujubee

Pros: This was definitely the most iconic and talented cast this show has ever seen. People bag on it a lot but it really was a fun season. The challenges were ridiculous and hilarious, especially the one where they were out on the street. I personally prefer it over as3

Cons: Obviously the pairs. Although I don’t know how much the results would really change as much as people tend to think they would. It was very obvious that as1 was created to give Chad a crown, and they would’ve probably kept Raven until the end because she was also very popular.

Favorite moments: Raven’s “Don’t Cha” lip sync, the final episode, Queen’s Behaving Badly, and of course the most iconic episode of untucked of all time.

All Stars 2: My top 3: Alaska, Detox, Katya

Pros: probably one of the most amazing seasons of drag race ever. I’m not exactly sure what it was, but that particular combination of queens was so much fun. At a time where it felt like the show was slipping a bit, this season was a breath of fresh air because the girls were still unafraid of being shady and starting shit. The introduction of the girls eliminating each other was a fun twist also, and the runways were awesome!

Cons: No untucked. I liked the idea of girls eliminating each other but the long break of the queens “deliberating” backstage got repetitive and kind of boring after the first couple of times.

Favorite moments: Getting to see Alyssa Edwards on my screen again. Read U Wrote U. Detox’s runways. Alaska winning.

All Stars 3: My top 3: Shangela, Dela, Bebe

Pros: The first half of the season was really good, the challenges were really creative and fun. And I was happy to see Morgan back on my television.

Cons: After the first few challenges this season went downhill for me. The ball was a mess with those soup cans, the final acting challenge was horrible, and don’t even get me started on that stupid jury twist. A mess.

Favorite moments: The bitchelor challenge was really fun. And the runways were really good

All Stars 4: My top 3: Monique, Trinity, Naomi

Pros: Honestly up until the last 2 episodes this was an amazing season. The queens were talented, entertaining, shady, and fun. The drama kept everyone on their toes and finally someone had the balls to take advantage of the Lip Sync for Your Legacy elimination (thank you Naomi). The challenges were really fantastic.

Cons: The tie at the end was kinda anti-climactic. I love both queens and I’m not against more girls getting money and a crown, but it all seemed very last minute and rushed. Also it seemed like the fans this season were extra annoying and hateful.

Favorite Moments: Naomi gagging everyone and having the balls to eliminate Manila. Monet and Monique’s friendship. All of Valentina’s French Vanilla fantasies.
