Lots of focus on Vanitas as an entity who gained his own sentience outside of simply being "Darkness", and Ventus' crippling damage and growing insanity from the instability of being filled only with Light. It's a fate that is just as dangerous as being only Darkness. They ache for each other, and may find that they're the only ones who can truly understand each other. 🖤

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MoM (Master of Masters) confirm that the 13 original darknesses had originally had forms before they discarded them and basically become a hive mind loosing their individuality?

So That would mean said 13 original Darknesses would have original forms, meaning- VANITAS ORIGNALLY DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THIS- NOMURA WHAT DID HE LOOK LIKE!?

Wait- If it is true Vanitas (The heart left in Sora's hotel heart) is with Sora and Strelitzia in Quadratum. And MoM is there too-

I just want MoM to make jokes and Vanitas to be like ??????? then like 10 years from now we will know the context and either be sobbing or laughing our butts off-

Hello again! I recently requested Riku x reader who is a heartless and also Ansem’s child, and I was wondering if you do the same but this one is Ventus or maybe Terra x Gender neutral reader who is a Unversed just like Vanitas but also his child as well?

Yeah, I’m going with Ventus on this one.

Who Is She

Since I’m using Ventus, there’s no romance in this. Just pointing that out. I just want to write Ventus.

Takes place during Birth by Sleep and a little thing for KH3 at the end.

Along with seeing Vanitas, Ventus also sees a small child everywhere he goes.

R is gender neutral with they/them pronouns. Again, no restrictions of gender. Also, R is the same age as Sora.

It has been a growing constant with Ventus. As he visited various worlds, along with seeing Vanitas, he’s been seeing a small child walking around. The child couldn’t be older than four years old. Ventus tries to follow them, but they always disappear the second he gets close. He almost considers giving up, until he saw the child in Radiant Garden.

He walks up to them, only for them to not run away this time. He’s able to get a better look at them. They wore a blue and red body suit with a black belt around their waist. The belt buckle was the Unversed emblem, but he didn’t really notice it. They had (hair length) (color) hair. Their (color) eyes slightly looked like red in the right light.

He gently places a hand on their shoulder. “Hey, who are you?” He asks, but they refuse to talk. “Oh.” He slightly backs up. “Where’s your family? Are you lost?” The kid shakes their head at the second question. “Did you run away?” He asks, getting a nod in return.

He slightly chuckles, scratching the back of his head. “I ran away from home, too.” He tells the child, making them slightly smile. “Do you wanna explore the worlds with me?” He offers, watching as the child emphatically nod. The two walk off, reading to explore the worlds they haven’t been.

The two explore a lot of worlds. Sometimes, the child would stray off. Ventus wouldn’t think anything of it until they come back, multiple unversed chasing after them. Ventus would defeat the unversed before asking the child why they ran off. He’d never get a response, so he drop the conversation and the two continue exploring. They soon end up in The Keyblade Graveyard to face off against Xehanort.

Ventus, the child, and Vanitas were in a secluded area. “Go! Hide! I’ll take care of him!” Ventus urges them to leave, only for them to stand perfectly still. Vanitas laughs. “You can’t imagine (Y/N) would listen to you when their father is here.”

Ventus’ eyes grow wide at the new information. “They are Xehanort’s child?” Vanitas groans. “No, you idiot.” He says as (Y/N) starts walking towards him. “They’re mine.” He says as (Y/N)’s walk slows to a stop, turning to face Ventus. “It was all part of the plan. Get you so close to them you and have them pull your heartstrings just enough so that you couldn’t bare to see them get hurt.”

A few flood unversed popped up, pulling Ventus to the ground. “The unversed come from you?” He struggles to get out of the unversed’s hold. “Of course.” Vanitas responds. “What do you think (Y/N) is?” He taunts. Ventus finally saw the Unversed belt buckle (Y/N) wore. He felt lied to. Betrayed. His anger and hatred was directed towards Vanitas and they fought, forging the x-blade.

It wasn’t known what happened to (Y/N) after Vanitas disappeared. Some say they died with the other unversed…

More than a decade later, Sora and his friends found themselves in Monstropolis. As they turned a corner, there were countless unversed and a hooded figure standing on the far end of the room. The ground defeats the unversed, just to realize that Boo was taken.

Sora turns to the entrance of the door vault to see the hooded figure holding Boo. With a taunting wave, the figure disappears into the door vault. The group hastily follow.

After a while, they caught up with the hooded figure and Boo. “Leave the girl alone!” Sora yells. The figure shrugs. “Why, though. I’ve always wanted a little sister.” Sora was a little weirded out by the response. “Kidnapping is not the way to do it, though!” Mike tells the cloaked figure.

Boo wiggled out of the figure’s hold, running back to the group. The figure groans, summoning a dark corridor. “I’ll be back.” The figure disappears, leaving the ground alone in the door vault.

At The Keyblade Graveyard, Sora, Aqua, and Ventus were in a battle against Terranort, Vanitas, and the hooded figure from Monstropolis. The guardians were really going at the hooded figure. With one hit too much, the figure falls to the ground. Their hood falls off, showing (Y/N). They were much older, but it was still them.

Ventus drops his keyblade, running over to (Y/N). He kneels down next to them, gently pulling their head to his lap. They were coughing badly. Sora and Aqua ran up to the two. “Potion! They need a potion!” Ventus says to them, extending his hand out. Sora pulls a potion out from his pocket and hands it to Ventus.

Ventus opens the bottle, only to be stopped by (Y/N) keeping their mouth shut. “It doesn’t taste that bad.” Ventus tries to convince them. They take the potion from him and downs it, wanting to not be in pain anymore.

Their wounds heal and they were back to normal.

Sora is worried about his boyfriend.

Vanitas and him are twins and he’s in total anxiety teen mode

Prompto and Noctis are married.

Prompto wears the ring of lucii around his neck as a symbol of his marriage.

Sora is bird like hybrid however his wings are shorter so he can only guild and jump very high. He makes up for it with his speed.

Prompto is also Queen technically but he is also a world champion photographer of insomnia. So news outlets can and will lose to him if he has to use his queenly authority if he has too.

thinking abt kingdom hearts and roxas and sora I always found the parallel between the like 4 version of sora (sora, roxas, ventus, vanitas) to be so interesting because sora (pre-kh3) was the only one with a happy ending roxas forgot his best friend xion and is literally not allowed to be someone without sora (and the tragedy of axel seeming to have a heart only for roxas and xion and then forgetting later) ventus and his trio were literally doomed from the start eraqus kind of fucked them up and vanitas was used by xehanort his entire existence. i love kingdom hearts man.

I'm so normal about the new KH3 manga panels

WE GOT SO MUCH FOOD

First we got Ven vs Vanitas

Ven looks so cute and I can't wait for the keyblade graveyard of the Vanitas fight

Then we have ZEMYX

Zexion and DEMYX

I love this scene so much and I think I like it better

From the panels I seen so far it seems Demyx arrives and Zexion is surprised but nervous because he's with the organization still so Zexion goes and calls security on his bf

He seems nervous and looks for something and then he presses and button

Then the other two Xaldin and Lexaeus come in and tries to take him out. He seems to be in the organization so they want to apprehend him.

While this is happening Demyx is like No it's not like that. And they tell him to be quiet.

I also used a Google scan but those aren't always 100% accurate but it seems like that happened.

That's all I've seen from that scene and honestly I like it way better. I like how they come in because of Demyx instead of wondering what's the commotion and it's Ansem the Wise. Though both of their voice actors (JPN) both recently died so they made them silent in the games out of respect and that could have contributed to it.

Then there is AkuSai ice cream date

The scene is seemingly the same, they have this serious tension going on. They discussed what happened and Lea is like I'll bring Roxas, and X, and then I'll take you back too.

Also it seems that Lea got a winner stick and he looks so cute— everyone looks so cute in the manga I can't 😭

Then there is the famous papou scene that everyone likes to misinterpret but I'm bias as well.

Frankly I don't care about the scene as in I have no issue like it's fine. I think it's nice that they're doing a reference to the first game but what I don't like is when people remove the good luck charm aspect out of it. Because that's what it is and why he accepted it. Sora looked way too awkward in the game. Right before the scene he's worried about Riku. But that's my take.

Anyways in the manga Riku is just watching them But that's all I found on the scene

Riku, even Sora and Kairi all look so cute

That's basically all I have found so far but I hope there is more that I haven't seen.

Like if there was the Repliku and Riku talk in this one, I don't know. But I hope since that scene happens right around the papou scene.

Vanitas having Ven’s old memories: is in the Organization with Lauriam and Elrena, canonically states he has memories from the past in the KH3 novel and that they could possibly be Ven’s

Sora having Kairi’s old memories: restores Radiant Garden, makes the difference in saving Aqua, forms a X-Blade with Kairi, Kairi cannot find memories past a certain point suggesting they went SOMEWHERE, Xion acts like Sora but looks like Kairi, Riku is shown working out of Radiant Garden during the search for Sora while he seems unsure Kairi will find anything, all the imagery of Sora falling from the sky or being sent to Destiny Islands

Vanitas' design in your dreaming Au intrigues me, could you explain why he looks like that? Excellent design btw! Hope to see more of this Au!!

I really hope I can make myself clear because everything makes more sense in my brain than it does when I try to put it into words.

As Darkness he had no form and as Vanitas he didn't have a face either until he got Sora's. So far i think everything is clear.

The reason why Vanitas looks like this in this AU is because his appearance is a mixture of things, unconsciously Ventus took fragments of memories to "shape" Vanitas, those memories were about Darkness, the Foretellers especially Ava and Vanitas himself. The result of that mix gave place to this smoky(? hooded form with a Flood mask whose identity was scattered in Ventus's memories (which is why the mask was fused onto his face until Ventus said his name, because there was no identity "behind it").

He also looks different depending on whether he's inside Ventus's Heart Station or projecting outside. Inside he looks more solid and the influence of the memories about the Foretellers is noticeable, while outside he looks more similar to Darkness.

There's also his "battle mode" that resembles Dark Inferno(X), in this form he's for Ventus something like what Dark Figure/Guardian was for Ansem SoD
