So one of the things I do is collect quilt weirdos. They're not really quilts that are valuable for-reals but I stil think there's something about them that is quirky or hilarious or intriguing.
This one, likely from the 60s? 70s? Is one of my absolute favorites. What frickin genius used these fabrics together and they work?! And, like, they pieced it all with home dec fabric. Stuff I am pretty sure was in my grandma's house. Still! Pieced curves and points! With home dec fabric!! Seriously WTF.
It's also a fantastic use of print and texture and color. I just love everything about this.
