A U.S. agency has added 11 nations to its list of countries willing to use fines, imprisonment or the death penalty to punish those accused of insulting religious beliefs or institutions.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Liberty increased its list of the number of countries with blasphemy laws from 84 in 2020 to 95 this year, a 13% increase. The list includes democracies, theocracies and several traditional American allies spanning the globe.

The commission’s newly released report defines blasphemy as any “act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God or sacred things,” while laws criminalizing the behavior typically seek to “punish expressions or acts deemed blasphemous, defamatory of religions, or contemptuous of religion or religious symbols, figures or feelings.”

But whether the ordinances call for fines, imprisonment or capital punishment, such measures violate basic human rights standards established by the United Nations General Assembly, USCIRF said. “Under international human rights law, freedom of religion or belief includes the right to express a full range of thoughts and beliefs, including those that others might find blasphemous.”

While proponents of blasphemy rules and practices claim they promote social harmony, “in practice, blasphemy laws empower government officials to punish individuals who express minority viewpoints. In Bangladesh, a tribunal recently sentenced a Hindu man to seven years in prison for allegedly insulting Islam in a Facebook post,” the report said. “In Russia, blasphemy charges are often, though not exclusively, used to target individuals who are perceived to have insulted the Russian Orthodox Church.”

Yet nearly half the world’s nations have adopted blasphemy laws, often claiming the provisions promote internal security and social and religious cohesion, the agency said. “Blasphemy laws can be contained in a variety of legal instruments, including constitutions and statutory laws, and are often part of national penal codes.”

The countries USCIRF added to its 2023 blasphemy fact sheet are the Bahamas, Barbados, El Salvador, Guatemala, Cambodia, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Monaco, Portugal and Cape Verde.

Language from the Bahamian constitution and penal code, which USCIRF provides for the nations listed, declares itself a Christian nation where the sale of “any blasphemous book, writing or representation shall be liable to imprisonment for two years.”

In newly added Monaco, where Catholicism is the state religion, anyone “who has, by word or gesture, desecrated the objects of worship, either in the places intended or currently used for its exercise … or even outraged the ministers of religion in their functions” can face one to six months imprisonment and a fine.

A nation’s addition to the list does not necessarily mean its anti-blasphemy practices are new. The same holds for countries whose maximum sanction designations have changed. Saudi Arabia, for example, was listed with “no sanction specified” in 2020, but now has joined Brunei, Iran, Mauritania and Pakistan as those open to the death penalty in blasphemy cases.

And a country’s absence from a maximum punishment designation may not preclude it from using those sentences. Afghanistan is currently described as having no specific sanction for blasphemy, but the Taliban has stated a reliance on a form of Islamic jurisprudence that designates blasphemy as a capital offense, USCIRF explained.

Italy is included with Columbia, Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan as countries that levy fines for blasphemy. Its criminal code includes a provision for up to a year in prison for anyone who “insults the state religion,” which is Catholicism.

Eighty nations include imprisonment for blasphemy violations, USCIRF said. In addition to the Bahamas, they include Austria, Brazil, Germany, Finland, Burma, Cambodia, Egypt, India, Israel, Ukraine and Yemen.

Countries in all categories span the globe, with 13 in the Americas, 28 in the Asia Pacific region, 16 in Europe, 18 in the Middle East and North Africa and 20 in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Such laws, however light the punishment called for, foster discrimination and intolerance against religious minorities, USCIRF added. “While it is legitimate for individuals to speak out against blasphemy, legislation criminalizing blasphemy violates the right to freedom of religion or belief and the right to freedom of opinion and expression. International human rights law protects the rights of individuals; it does not protect religious feelings, figures or symbols from behavior or speech considered blasphemous.”

Another danger of blasphemy laws is that they open the door to persecution and mob justice, the report explains. “Individuals accused of blasphemy risk retribution from individuals and non-state actors in addition to government officials. In February 2023, a crowd in Pakistan stormed a police station and killed a man being held on suspicion of blasphemy. … In May 2023, Sri Lankan authorities arrested stand-up comedian Jayani Natasha Edirisooriya for allegedly ‘defaming Buddhism’ during a comedy show.”

Blasphemy statutes also can be manipulated by individuals to settle personal or business disputes, USCIRF said. “In January 2023, the colleague of a Christian woman working with Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority threatened to accuse her of blasphemy following a workplace dispute. In July 2022, a Pakistani court reportedly sentenced Ashfaq Masih to death for blasphemy. The blasphemy allegation emerged following a dispute Masih, a bicycle mechanic, had with a customer.”

Denmark passes ban on niqabs and burkas

Denmark has passed a ban on full-face veils.

It becomes the latest in a number of EU countries to pass such a ban, which mainly affects Muslim women wearing a niqab or burka.

The law was passed by 75 votes to 30 in parliament on Thursday and will come into force on 1 August.

Those violating the ban will be forced to pay 1,000 kroner (£118; $157), with fines ten times higher for repeat offenders.

The wording of the new legislation does not specifically mention Muslim women but says that "anyone who wears a garment that hides the face in public will be punished with a fine".

Speaking about the law, Denmark's Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen said: "In terms of value, I see a discussion of what kind of society we should have with the roots and culture we have, that we don't cover our face and eyes, we must be able to see each other and we must also be able to see each other's facial expressions, it's a value in Denmark."

Amnesty International has described the Danish vote as a "discriminatory violation of women's rights".

But the European Court of Human Rights last year upheld a Belgian ban on full-face veils, saying that communal harmony trumped the individual's right to religious expression.

Where else in Europe has similar laws?

France was the first European country to ban the full-face veil in public places in April 2011, seven years after it introduced a law prohibiting conspicuous religious symbols in state schools.

It was followed a few months later by Belgium, which outlawed any clothing that obscures a person's identity in a public place.

Full or partial bans have since been passed in Austria, Bulgaria and the southern German state of Bavaria, with the Dutch parliament agreeing a ban in late 2016, pending approval from the country's higher chamber.

“One of the other criticisms to be levelled at the radical feminist analysis is the pre-eminence given to heterosexual sex, to the phallus, as the root of women's oppression. But is it not ridiculous to claim that 'the basic elements of rape are involved in all heterosexual relationships' (Griffin, 1971)? Many women desire men, and many women have not been sexually abused or assaulted by men. Those women who have are dismissed by this analysis of all heterosexual sex as rape for, as Segal argues (1987: 37), 'It diminishes rather than clarifies rape's hideous reality and prevalence.'

Equally it is naive to claim that, by freeing ourselves from the sexual oppression of men by embarking on sexual relationships with women, we will be free. For there is no lesbian utopia where women live together in peace and harmony without conflict or oppression. If it exists, it is only in the pages of feminist fiction. The continuation of this particular brand of rhetoric and its use as an explanation for women's madness is both naive and short-sighted. We cannot replace one restrictive discourse (that of compulsory heterosexuality) with another (that of compulsory lesbianism). Sexuality is part of our oppression as women - but the radical feminist answer does not suit all women.

It is naïve to place a pre-eminent emphasis on heterosexual sex and the phallus as being at the root of women's difficulties, for it ignores and denies all other factors which are central to the oppression of women. It also, paradoxically, glorifies the phallus, celebrating it as the powerful symbol in a discourse analogous to that used by the misogynistic males so comprehensively castigated. As Lynne Segal argues:

Are there not sturdier weapons than the penis? . . . we are forced to leave behind the complex historical formation of men's social power - and how this social power confers a symbolic power to the penis as the defining characteristic of the male - to return to a naked sexual capacity which can be, and therefore is, used to control women. In the description of the relentless power of the steely prick, the biological, so forcefully ejected from the front door, swaggers in, cocksure, through the back. (Segal, 1987: 101)

This preoccupation with male sexuality and with heterosexual sex solely as the act of vaginal penetration - an act presented in the same graphic form in much radical feminist polemic as it is in pornography - is also short-sighted. As women's sexuality cannot be reduced to penetration - to pleasure from fucking (as it was in the myth of the vaginal orgasm) - neither can men's. To reduce men's pleasure (and power) to this one act is to ignore the many complex factors that form the discourses of male sexuality. As much as we need to explore women's sexuality, creating new ways of exploring our desire, so we need to understand and not simplify men's sexuality, if women are to remain in sexual relationships with men, as many women wish to do. For men's sexuality can be no more reduced to a single experience (fucking powerfully and oppressively) than can women's (passively receiving without pleasure). Male sexuality is clearly ‘the site of any number of emotions of weakness and strength, pleasure and pain, anxiety, conflict, tension and struggle, none of them mapped out in such a way as to make the obliteration of the agency of women in heterosexual engagements inevitable' (Segal, 1990: 215). To deny this, by positing that sexual or marital therapy merely coerces women into heterosexuality, or that heterosexual sex is always oppressive for women, is a nonsense, and denies the existence of pleasure in heterosexual sex. In the same way that it is insulting to women who are distressed, women who are mad, to imply that all women are mad within a patriarchal culture, it is insulting to imply that all heterosexual women are oppressed.”

In today's (seventh) issue of symbolism, we will talk about the Yin-Yang symbol, which is found in the album and the performance of Karma.

"Yin-yang" is a symbol of Chinese origin. The Chinese call it Tai Chi — the circle of existence. It is symbolized by a circle divided into two equal parts of an S-shaped curve: dark, female (yin), and light, male (yang).

Yin is the feminine principle of matter, moist, dark, passive, soft, compliant and intuitive, associated with the earth, valley, trees and flowers, lunar animals and birds. In binary (polar) classification, it also symbolizes the north, darkness, death, earth, moon, even numbers, etc.

Yang is a masculine principle, dry, bright, active, firm, unbending, rational, associated with the sky, mountains, sunny animals and birds. In binary classification it is equated to the south, light, life, sky, sun, odd numbers.

This circle should be considered as rotating, as a result of which darkness inevitably gives way to light, and then light is replaced by darkness. Chinese philosophers claim that even in the purest light there is a certain element of darkness, and vice versa. Therefore, in the center of each half there is a small circle painted in the opposite color: black on a white background and white on black.

At the heart of this symbolism, as is commonly believed, are the teachings of the ancients about fertility, reproduction, phallic cult, etc. This interpretation is considered, for example, in ancient China not as a result of confrontation, but as a result of the interaction of opposites, that is, their unity.

This simple image of balanced dynamism symbolizes the interdependence of opposing forces and principles in the cosmos. Creative tension, alternation and fusion of yin-yang generate change and movement, development and complication.

In Taoism, these are the basic concepts of ancient Chinese natural philosophy, universal cosmic polar and constantly shifting forces into each other.

Yin (dark/feminine) and yang (light/masculine) are understood as polar modalities of a single substantial principle — pneuma (qi) and represent two types of universal forces embodied in five elements, which, in turn, constitute the essence of the manifested world: wood, fire — yang; earth — neutral; metal, water is yin. Just as the Tao establishes balance, yin and yang need it. Yin and yang are inseparable and complement each other. Life cannot be colored only in dark colors and vice versa; to think otherwise is to show recklessness. If you follow the Tao (path), then these two forces, which at the same time are both opposite and complementary, will remain in harmony. This idea represents the basic concept of Taoism: a balanced approach to all natural phenomena and correction in case of a violation of the natural balance.

Graphically, the concept of Taoism is expressed by Tai chi (in some sources — Tai Shi) — a symbol of the single limit. Black color symbolizes yin, white — yang. The two opposites form a single whole, complementing each other and flowing into each other. The symbol demonstrates the primordial dualism of all things. At the same time, all things are characterized by the presence of both masculine and feminine, the manifestation of both dark and light aspects, and the feminine necessarily contains an element of masculine, and vice versa.

This symbol represents a continuous movement, an ongoing process, leaving no room for static equilibrium, asserting the dynamism of the balance of forces.

The yin-yang symbolism permeates all spheres of the Chinese national way of life and culture. And yet, this culture cannot be considered the property of one people, since many religions have adopted similar theories.

The philosophy of yin-yang cannot be considered a kind of verdict of fate, but only a statement of the existing order of things. The basis of any life manifestation is the balance of two opposites: growth and extinction, happiness and sadness, gain and loss… A wise person sees the duality of all things and lives in harmony with this reality. It is this approach that allows you to live happily and regardless of the black or white stripes in a person's fate. In neo-Confucianism, yin—yang is a manifestation of rest or movement of a single substance — the Great Limit (Tai chi).

As the И is a mirror image of N. as is the moon W is to the wheel M gives rightful cause to compare it to the classic violence card of strength.

While it is said that the left hand signifies. Severity and the right hand signifies mercy. Is a twist of significance. The marriage hand is the left hand. Why compare it to severity? "The Pledge" From Surah 5: Al Ma'idah, "The Table Setting."

We have come to a passage in Ma'idah that has numeric coefficients within the prose, and this means we must turn to Hebrew Gematria in order to properly understand the meaning. Changes in Numbers are sensitive, meaning a minor change in a Number has the potential to change the meaning of the passage dramatically.

Observe:

One banana: the Value in Gematria is 18-0, אחאֶפֶס‎ ‎"brother zero."

Two bananas: the Value in Gematria is 1225, א‎בבה, abba or "the father to come".

Three bananas: the Value in Gematria is 373, גזג‎‎ ‎, gzag, "the shearing of the 13."

So the more bananas we add, the closer we get to Masjid, total equality. One must include all gentiles and non-Jewish persons in the formula or Masjid is not attained. One banana is not mankind, two bananas is a situation ripe with competition, but the number three symbolizes a harmony that includes and synthesizes two opposites.

So the Numbers are additive and cumulative but only so long as they drive towards humanity, enlightenment, the Shema, freedom from ignorance, suffering, all the frustrating experiences associated with life on earth.

So before we make a grand escapade of converting the world into Jews, we must first learn how to mix and mingle with others and create the Third Banana. If we were to write a scripture we would say "God told Moses to take Three Bananas and give them to the people."

Would you really go to the store for three bananas, or do you understand God is telling Moses to explain the importance of DEI to the people? The verse from the Quran has similar features in it:

5:89:

Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths.

So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days [is required].

That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful.

Commentary:

Sometimes Allah is either big huge ballbuster or He is easy going. Which is the real Allah and how seriously should one take the rules of Halal if violations don't seem to matter all that much?

If one makes an oath of Zakah, the verse says, it must be the right oath and it must be undertaken properly or a fast of three days is required. Without more detail it is difficult to understand how to perform the oath from the beginning.

The Values in Gematria are:

a. Allah will not impose blame upon you: the Value in Gematria is 10127, אאֶפֶסב‎‎ז‎, apsebz, "wasted."

Being wasteful is an act that is abhorred in Islam, as attested in verses 26 and 27 of Surah al-Isra’ in the Quran, to the effect that: “And render to the kindred their due rights, as (also) to those in want, and to the wayfarer; but squander not in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily spendthrifts are brothers of Satan; and Satan is to his Lord (himself) ungrateful.” 

b. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people... the Value in Gematria is 11507, יאהאֶפֶסז‎‎ ‎jahapesz, "the miss" AKA the "mission", AKA Zakah,

Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.

And the Mission of those who believe in the Quran is "to ensure all rise and none do not fall."

"{And when Allah took pledge from those who had been given the Book: ‘You shall make it known to mankind, and not conceal it.’ But they cast it behind their backs, and bartered it away for a small price; how evil was their bargain.} (Aal `Imran 3:187)

If there is a lamp in your heart and hand, it must spread its light. If there is fire inside you, it must radiate its warmth and glow.

Consequences of Failing to Convey the Quran Those who do not do so, for want of transient worldly gains, are in fact filling their bellies with fire:

{Those who conceal of what the Book of Allah has sent down on them, and barter it away for a little price they shall eat naught but the Fire in their bellies, Allah shall not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, neither purify them.} (Al-Baqarah 2:174)

And they deserve the curse of Allah the Almighty:

{Those who conceal the clear messages and the guidance that We have sent down, after We have made them clear for mankind in the Book they shall be cursed by Allah and the cursers.} (Al-Baqarah 2: 159)

Unless they discharge their duties:

{Save such as repent, and put themselves right, and make [the Book] known towards them I shall turn . . .} (Al-Baqarah 2:160)

Look at yourself! Look at Muslims today!

Why, despite the fact that the Quran is read by millions day and night, still it does not make any difference to our situation?

We either do not understand it when we read it, do not accept or act upon it if we do understand it, accept and act upon only part of it while rejecting the rest, or we are guilty of committing the worst crime by concealing it and not bringing its light to the world while we are engrossed in reading and acting upon only part of it.

{And some among them are illiterate common people, who have no knowledge of the Book, [believing] only wishful fancies, and they depend on nothing but conjecture. Woe, also, unto those who write [the meanings of] the Book with their own hands, then say, ‘This is from Allah’, that they may acquire thereby a little price…} (Al-Baqarah 2: 78-9)

{What! Do you believe in part of the Book and disbelieve in part? What, then, shall be the reward of those of you who do that but ignominy in the life of this-world and, on the Day of Resurrection to be returned unto the most grievous suffering.} (Al-Baqarah 2:85)

Being Witnesses to the Quran

Let there not be the slightest doubt in our minds that unless we commit ourselves to the most important responsibility of being witnesses unto the Quran, which devolves upon us by virtue of us having it and reading it, we shall never discharge what we owe to the Quran.

The ignominy, dishonor, humiliation, backwardness that has become our lot is only because of the way we treat the Quran and the mission it entrusts to us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him ) said, “By this Book Allah makes some peoples to rise and others to decline.”(Muslim).

c. That is the Expiation...the Value in Gematria is 10775, יז‎זה‎‎, this is it, AKA the Words of Allah recited to Muhammad His Prophet:

The most conventional answer is that the Quran is a book – but it is not like most books. It is made up of words which contain truth and guidance for every human being, and Muslims believe that these are words revealed directly by God, in the Arabic language, to the last of His prophets and messengers, Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him). The Quran presents itself with a number of names and descriptions which are worth reflecting on. Here are just a few:

Quran and Kitab (Recital & Writ): the first means something recited aloud, and the second means something written down. This describes the two main ways this scripture is experienced, and which you can encounter on this website.

Kalam Allah (Divine Speech): this means that these words are a direct communication from the Creator and Master of every living being. It occupies the highest level of authority for its believers, and it is clarified and supported by the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. While the language of this particular revelation was Arabic, we also have many translations into different languages which help us to understand its meanings.

Dhikr and Huda (Remembrance & Guidance): the Quran is used as a way to connect with God and keep Him in our hearts and on our tongues. It is also fundamentally a guide for our personal lives and for the life of the community and society.

The Quran is the final revealed message which complements and completes earlier revealed scriptures, just as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught the same essential message as the many prophets before him, including Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, and Jesus (peace be upon them all).

The Quran clarifies what humanity needs to know from now until the Day of Judgment, and it will remain preserved from loss and distortion which affected previous scriptures in various ways:

"˹This is˺ a blessed Book which We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ so that they may contemplate its verses, and people of reason may be mindful." 38:29

So the reason one makes a pledge to read the Quran is to learn how to be mindful and not make a waste of life on earth. Its anthological approach towards religion reveals many prophets have attempted to convince us of the importance of this but we have still not either committed to or learned how do it.

Safe Words and Agreements for Intensive Shadow Work with Deities and Spirit Guides Part 2

11. Neither party can refuse the other party’s properly expressed pause or break. Neither one of us will use the pauses or breaks to manipulate the other or in any way that violates the spirit of this agreement. The spirit of this agreement is to promote and facilitate a harmonious working and personal relationship between myself and G in our mutually agreed joint project of completing this shadow work with no additional damage done to either party. This agreement is also intended to make sure I am fully aware when shadow work challenges are occurring, so that I can make a clear demarcation in my mind between what is and what is not just a part of the exercise.

12. If G feels other spirit guides would benefit from reviewing our logs for educational purposes, G will call a pause by waiting until I am calm and stable and I have had enough space to resolve any crisis they want logs for, then getting my attention and saying  “I am safe. I deserve comfort” (9oP) followed by “I can find belonging with people that accept me as who I am” (Hiero). G will then ask me about letting others reviewing our logs, and I will decide if I want to agree, prefer they not, or if I need to think more about it. If I risk initiating testing during the discussion, G will follow usual practices for clarifying testing initiation, and my answer about the logs will be assumed that I need to think further on it. G can ask again at his discretion. We both agree that the first priority with getting logs permission is ensuring I don’t feel as though G cares more about the logs than about my wellbeing, due to how sensitive I still am to that trigger.

13. I will keep in mind that the purpose of this project is something I want, initiated, agreed to and am passionate about. I will also keep in mind that both G and the Universe are facilitating at my request, not subjecting me to it. These exercises are my project that G is helping me with, and, as such, I am actually the one directing each stage. G’s purpose is to advise and facilitate, with love, and I am the one who makes the final decisions, therefore I don’t try to make them do that for me. Some decisions are designed to be difficult but their purpose is to be empowering. If the intensity is getting to be too much, I can should request a break. These are my responsibilities that mirror G’s responsibilities in entry 8 (Part 1). I accept that things may not change for the better during the break, but they also will not get worse, and that the break's purpose is to let me rally my strength. I can also be rewarded for the work I've already done in these breaks. Opinion.

14. Both of us are accountable for our own actions and should not knowingly try to put their responsibilities onto the other. If one person feels the other is unconscious trying to shift responsibility, they will say “everyone is accountable for their own actions” (Strength), the other will confirm by asking “Number 14?” and the first will explain their analysis. Once the second person understands and both have arrived at agreement on what is occurring and how to proceed, any people in the discussion at the time will confirm “I understand” or “I can commit to the path I choose, even if it is not perfect” (7oC).

15. G and I both agree that one of our goals is to continue to be on good terms after the examinations project’s end. We will both keep this in mind, no matter how it feels in the moment. If one person becomes concerned the other is forgetting that, they will say “I am ready to see others as they are, not who I want them to be” (2oC) or “I am blessed with a loving community” (3oP) to remind the other that they are projecting malicious intent where there is none. If I have trouble reconciling reality with how I’m feeling, G will say “I leave because I cannot heal in a place that reopens my wounds” (6oS) or “I have courage to break the structures that need to be broken” (Tower). Then I will refer back to this entry in this agreement to try and stabilise myself, and to remember that we are in this together, not against each other. I will remember that G acts detached in their role as examiner because that is part of the role and not as a reflection of their genuine thoughts, feelings or opinions towards me. We agree that our love for each other is real, no matter how it feels in the moments during some examinations, and that our love and bond is the foundation of and reason for this agreement. We will break or pause as needed until we are both satisfied we remember and understand this entry fully. 

16. I will not talk about k!lling or h@rming any person during the examinations, mainly myself but applicable to others in the rare instances my negative emotions are directed outwards. If I find myself thinking or feeling like genuinely k1lling or h@rming any person, that is a sign that we must break immediately until I am stabilised and we are both satisfied I’m well enough to continue. G can initiate that break by saying either “I accept that wisdom can come at an emotional cost” (QoS) or “when I accept an ending, I also release myself from its power” (10oS) and then “When all is lost, my hope still shines like a guiding star. I will follow it” (Star). I can initiate that break either following entry 5’s steps or the same steps as G. G can tell me "do not k!ll/h@rm yourself/(person" by saying "I see the gifts that others bring to help me, and I honour them" (3oP) or "I accept that wisdom can come at an emotional cost" (QoS) and directing me to this entry of the agreement. It is agreed that any time G directs me to this entry, they are also saying "you're doing so well, I'm so proud of you." Opinion.

17. Neither one of us will change this agreement or take liberties interpreting it without the other’s party’s explicit, knowing, informed consent.

18. If either one of us discovers a loophole in any of these entries that might cause suffering, we will inform the other immediately by calling a pause to testing by using the phrase “I choose the path of principles and ethics, even if it is more difficult” (7oS) or “I can achieve my ambitions without sacrificing my soul” (KnoP). The person who discovered the loophole will then explain it as succinctly as possible. Once the other person understands, we will work together to find a fix for it that we’re both comfortable with.

19. If at any point I don't know what G is trying to say to me and they are not trying to direct me here, they will say “I have the vision to build the life I want” (KoW).

20. G will not take vitality from me. (I had some intense paranoia during my Third Eye stuff, G was an absolute bro about it but this entry helps a LOT if you get paranoid easily.) Opinion.

21. The more diligently I choose to study, the more intense the testing will be, but it is entirely within my control. It is my responsibility to slow down if I feel myself going insane or experiencing other extreme distress, and to listen to G if they tell me they're concerned for my well-being. I can choose to do as many or as few tests in a day, a week, a month, year, etc as I choose to. G can and happily will adjust the curriculum to suit my availability, comfort and preferences. Opinion.

22. G is not all-knowing or ever-present. They are one of many guides who looks after me, and, as such, are not aware of every detail of my past, especially my traumas, unless I have told them about them. There are many parts of my mind that they have no access to, and that no spirit except my own has access to. Therefore, it is my responsibility to think through my present issues, connect them as best I can to the events and/or ongoing circumstances in my past and/or present, and explain them to G in order for them to be taken into consideration with how they run the healing exercises. Eg, "I feel self conscious about my teeth because I used to have braces and I got teased" or "I struggle to relax because the relentless crush of capitalism is always running in the background of my existence" type of thing, as well as more obvious/crisis-type events or traumas.

There you have it. No system is perfect, you still have to do the work and sometimes holding yourself to the agreement is HARD, but overall it makes for a much safer shadow work experience. This past couple of months has felt like genuine Hell at times, but now, on the other side, it all feels super worth it.
