Maybe the Ekoda gang could do a Wizard of Oz group costume with Akako as the wicked witch of the west , Hakuba as the tin woodsman, Kaito as the titular wizard , Aoko as Glenda and Keiko idk the scarecrow. That way Akako can dress as a more traditional witch.
Okay so I love this and am maybe thinking way too hard about it because my brain has decided to just run wild with the idea of the Ekoda gang putting on the Wizard of Oz as a class play....
And if you needed any evidence for how much I've latched on to this:
I love excuses to play dress up but anyway....
They're doing this for the school festival and there's a prize for the class that gets the most votes of being the best, and I can't decide what the prize is, but whatever it is our beloved Ekoda gang has decided they must win. (like really funny if it's just a pizza party or something, but maybe there's a trophy that has a gem in it and Aoko wants to have it so she can protect it from Kid and the others are along for the ride).
So Aoko is playing Glenda, but she feels like she's been miscast, because 'isn't this character supposed to be super pretty? Wouldn't Akako be better for this?'. But everyone is reassuring her and Akako is really happy in her evil witch role- she's even practicing her evil cackle, really living her best life.
Kaito is playing the wizard, but let's face it, Kaito is as extra about things as he can be at any given time. So he's also the make-up artist for the whole production, and also in charge of all special effects (the class knows he's a magician, they know how good he is when he's just having fun, they're going to enjoy having his chaos as a weapon in their arsenal to win at school festival-ing.)
Saguru definitely bummed at least one of their classmates out a little bit casually mentioning how the Tin man in the classic movie had gotten very sick because of make-up made with a lead based paint, it's how he ended up in that role. Saguru is pretty sure Kaito doesn't dislike him enough to try to make him sick.... but he has noticed that Kaito is being very intentional about making sure that he can't see the label on the silver make-up he's using....
Anyway I'm gonna stop before this becomes a whole fanfiction (though it is getting added to my list of story ideas...)

Did Danny abuse the fact the GIW needed his parents tech. Yes of course. Danny not phantom seemed to be the trouble maker as of late. His parent threatened to withhold tech and blue prints from them if the GIW touched their kids.
Did he get caught breaking ember and boxy out of a government facility? yes. He expected the lecture he got.
The next jail break. It was not him. It was sam, Then the third. Also not him. That was Val… then it was Tucker. But not him.
The blame fell on him.
He did not expect to be shipped out of state. The GIW were happy to cover all costs. Even got him into a decent highschool. And had an apartment all arranged.
Gotham?
Not where he was expecting.
The assassination attempts. Also surprising.
Not so surprising. Tucker found out the GIW wanted to “silence” him. Offering a lot of money.
Of course his parents don’t listen. He is 15 perfectly fine to be all alone. Even if he is near some place with the nickname crime alley. Nope. He is just being dramatic. They tell him no one wants him dead.

I just noticed that the tattered ends of Lauriam's waistcoat made sense when I realized it was just inspired by the design of Marluxia's second and third form in Re:COM.
In his second form, you can see the black cape is also tattered behind the Specter.
And in his third form, before the fight starts you can also see the tattered ends on the platform (that kinda looks like a black cape too from afar) where Sora was standing.

Nature is watching you
It had been days since the Justice League had begun fighting the most powerful entities they had ever seen. Days since the earth itself had been against them.
It all began when the weather changed from one second to the next: Heavy storms in Metropolis, hail in Gotham, blizzards in Central City. Then carnivorous plants grew at every point on earth (and it wasn't Poison Ivy, they checked), by which point it was obvious that a larger force was to blame.
John Constantine identified them as "Vortex" and "Undergrowth", though he couldn't quite explain what they were, however he warned them not to confront them, letting them get bored would be the safest thing to do (the man looked uncharacteristically pale as he commented the last part). The League did not listen to him, worried about civilian casualties and confronted both beings anyway, they had fought Gods, surely it wouldn't be different.
It became clear that they made the wrong decision when they noticed most of their members were incapacitated or injured after a couple of days, and the beings had not been harmed in the least. Vortex laughed as Undergrowth looked at them, disgusted.
Their last confrontation was in Gotham so it was no surprise that Nightwing and Red Hood continued to evacuate civilians to a safer location. Jason noticed the moment when one of the civilians ran the other way decisively, the vigilante sighed as he indicated Nightwing that he would go after him. His brother nodded before Red Hood chased after the stupidly brave black-haired, blue-eyed boy, damn, he hoped Bruce didn't see him.
Unfortunately, he was just in time to see him run over to where the League was and stand in front of the two enemies, it was obvious the heroes were trying to push him away but they were either too hurt to move or didn't notice. Jason was about to yell at him to get out of the way when the boy spoke.
"STOP!"
The boy was clearly frustrated, and his face wore an annoyed expression. Jason noted the moment when the rest of the heroes noticed the boy standing in the middle of the battlefield. Supes had a devastated expression on his face.
Jason ran to the boy (who was strangely fast), he didn't know who he was but he would hate to see him die. He wondered if it was too late when both beings noticed him. They seemed strangely frightened? Jason guessed it was a trick of their eyes.
The battlefield was suddenly silent. It seemed like everyone was holding their breath, waiting for something to happen.
"I told you to stop" the black haired boy spoke again, his voice echoed in the silence, annoyance could still be heard in his tone. It was obvious he wasn't afraid. Without the heroes noticing, the plants and clouds stopped moving.
Quickly coming to his senses and noticing something, Superman shouted a warning as he looked at the hand of one of the beings pointing at the frail boy in front of him. He looked at Red Hood, who was running towards the scene but wouldn't make it in time, before looking at his own body, too damaged to move.
Contrary to what everyone expected, both beings lowered their heads, clasping their hands nervously, as if they weren't sure if they should kneel.
At the end, they lowered their heads in front of the boy in submission, looking defeated and strangely embarrassed.
"Sorry, my King" both said.
Danny snorted as he folded his arms. Jason, who had made his way over to where the halfa stood, looked at the three confused, what the fuck?

I was looking at your Halloween posts of the HoM and a thought occurred. Is Ben's extreme fear of ghosts/spirits and stuff related to his experiences with Ghostfreak/Zs'skayr?
And how did such fears affect his initial meeting with Danny?
Yes it is related! Original Ben10 run always gave me an impression that beside Vilgax, Ghostfreak/Zs'skayr left probably one of the most lasting impressions on 10-year-old Ben. After all, imagine you are 10 and you can tranform into aliens, but one of them almost takes over you and nearly kills your family member. Like??? I would be having an existential and identity crisis, not to mention the nightmares about not being able to control your own body and hurting your loved ones???
And sure, he defeated Zs'skayr multiple times, but I like to think that his fear of being controlled/taken over by Zs'skayr (or anyone) left one of the deeper scars on his psyche (amongst like a bajillion of others).
So, yes, that fear and trauma did affect his first meeting with Danny >;) very badly.
Their first encounter was full of misunderstandings and miscommunications all around (sort of like what we see happen between Rex and Ben in Heroes United but even worse) AND it didn't help that Ben was... let's just say, not in the greatest state of mind at that time and Danny didn't have the most rational and calm reactions to the situations either. Both had their own valid reasons, but it's still wasn't very good, lol.
There are also two very important extra circumstances surrounding their meeting that contributed to their reactions, that I dont want to spoil, because it would be more fun to try and tell in a story. xD
And there hopefully will be one, because Danny&Ben first meeting is one of the flashbacks that I had a lot of ideas for AND is important to the AU.
