Flux Is On (TUNIC [2022])

This is a game I watched a Twitch stream of, clearly one of those games that, given my oddly specific taste in games, is more enjoyable to watch than play, and so I watched a whole playthrough worth of streams rather than playing it for myself, but boy was the time watching it incredibly fun, as well as pleasant in aesthetic!

This track gives me a comfortable atmosphere like a mysterious but peaceful place to rest in, one that might even be called futuristic! That being said, it’s actually for a secret room to change your appearance, so its music seems to take on more of a secret fashion show feel! So much echo-y effects to appreciate as well, it makes a normally generic happy track that much more special.

If you want another adventure game as puzzle-focused in design philosophy as the very 1st Legend of Zelda, right down to strikingly similar artstyles in their manuals plus difficult puzzles, this game is made for you, without a single doubt in my mind!

5 Video juegos de terror

Subgénero de los juegos de aventura-acción inspirado por las películas de terror. Se caracterizan por su ambientación de terror y porque el jugador siente en todo momento la sensación de ser inferior al enemigo.

1.- Outlast

Es un juego de terror en primera persona, fue creado por Red Barrels Studio conformado por antiguos desarrolladores de otros juego como Uncharted o Assasin's Creed.

Fue publicado el 4 de septiembre del 2013 para Microsoft Windows, en 2015 para Xbox One, Ps4, Linux y OS X el 31 de marzo, después en 2018 para Nintendo Switch.

El juego tiene lugar dentro de las instalaciones del Hospital Psiquiátrico de Mount Massive, al sur del Estado de Colorado (Estados Unidos). A lo largo de la historia del juego, el jugador visitará diferentes zonas del complejo: las habitaciones, el patio exterior, la capilla, las alcantarillas, el laboratorio secreto

A lo largo de la trama del juego, el jugador deberá huir del lugar. Pero el asilo irá en contra suya, y no dejará salir a Miles del edificio. Se plantearán numerosos problemas que deberá de ir resolviendo, con un único objetivo, huir.

2.- Silent Hill

Es una franquicia de video juegos de terror creada por Keiichiro Toyama para la empresa Konami Digital Entretainment.

Fue lanzada el 31 de enero en 1999 para las plataformas Play Station, Ps2, Psp, etc.

Silent Hill 1 y 2 fueron bien recibidas aunque no a sus remakes ya que estos traían muchos errores.

El objetivo del jugador es guiar al personaje Harry Mason a través del pueblo de Silent Hill mientras busca a su hija pérdida, Cheryl. Las mecánicas de juego consisten en combatir monstruos, explorar la ciudad en busca de objetos interesantes y resolver acertijos.

Además el juego contiene 4 finales:

Bueno (salva a todos)

Malo (no encuentra a cheryl)

Muy malo (no salva a sus compañeros ni a cheryl)

Ovni (lo raptan los ovnis)

3.- The Evil Within

Conocido en Japón 🇯🇵 como Psycho Break es un juego de terror en tercera persona el cual fue desarrollado por Shigenori Nishikawa, Tango Gameworks Studios y publicado por la empresa Bethesda Softworks.

Su lanzamiento fue en octubre del 2014 para las plataformas Ps4, Ps3, Xbox One, Xbox360, Microsoft Windows, etc.

El juego se centra principalmente en 3 elementos clave del juego:

Survival Horror:  el jugador debe navegar por el mundo hostil del juego con recursos limitados. 

Trampas y rompecabezas:  el jugador no solo necesita luchar para sobrevivir, sino que también debe enfrentar trampas y mecanismos peligrosos.

Entornos alternativos: a lo largo del juego, los entornos pueden cambiar sin previo aviso en tiempo real según las acciones del jugador, lo que agrega más variables al juego.

4.- P.T.(demo)

es un videojuego en primera persona de tipo videojuego de terror desarrollado por el estudio nipón Kojima Productions y distribuido por Konami bajo la dirección del creador de videojuegos Hideo Kojima y del cineasta mexicano, ganador del Oscar, Guillermo del Toro.

Su lanzamiento fue el 12 de agosto del 2014 para la plataforma Ps4

P.T. sirvió principalmente como un avance interactivo para el juego Silent Hills, una entrega de la franquicia Silent Hill que acabó cancelándose. Después de esto, Konami eliminó P.T. del store de PlayStation y eliminó la reinstalación del juego, decisión que generó críticas de los medios y de los fanes, que buscaban que la plataforma recuperara el videojuego para su descarga.

A diferencia de la perspectiva en tercera persona que tenía el resto de los videojuegos de la franquicia Silent Hill, P.T. utiliza una perspectiva en primera persona que se centra en un protagonista desconocido, a quien controla el jugador, que se despierta en una casa suburbana embrujada y experimenta acontecimientos sobrenaturales. Donde se repite la misma escena pero va empeorando

5.- Fnaf ( Five Nigth's At Freddy's)

Five Nights at Freddy's ( Cinco Noches en Freddy's, y a menudo abreviado como FNaF) es una franquicia de medios basada en una serie de videojuegos de terror independientes, creada, diseñada, desarrollada y publicada por Scott Cawthon.

Fue lanzado el 8 de agosto del 2014 para las plataformas: Microsoft Windows, Android, iOS Phone, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5.

Los primeros tres juegos involucran al jugador, Mike, que trabaja como un guardia de seguridad nocturno, debiendo utilizar varias herramientas (sobre todo revisar cámaras de seguridad) para sobrevivir contra los animales animatrónicos del restaurante, que cobran vida y se vuelven asesinos desquiciados durante la madrugada donde debes sobrevivir desde las 12:00 am hasta las 06:00 am.

Fable people!

Tell me how you came into contact with Fable, please I want to know!

I’ll start: When I was 5 (or maybe 4) I visited my father in Italy and his friends had an xbox gaming console which I enjoyed very luch, so the next time he visited us (a few months later) he brought an xbox with a bunch of games (stuff like cars racing, 100 games in one CD) and among them it was the original Fable. When I was 9-10 ish, (Fable 2 was already released but I never played it) my brother installed Fable TLC on my laptop. When I was 17 I watched the gameplays for Fable 2 and Fable 3, and even now, when I’m 22, I always play Fable music whenever I need to study because it helps me focus (and my avatar is a Fable chicken bcs I’m a chicken chaser)

Coalescence/... con lentitud poderosa (Risk of Rain/Risk of Rain 2 [2013/2020])

Need I mention the instruments this time? They truly do speak for themselves here, as the whole list’s halfway point. It’s also 1 of the slowest-paced tracks here, so think of it as a sort of intermission between all the action-packed and relaxed tracks placed before and after this one.

The survivors are at the very last area; the spaceship leading the way back home. And so, the tune starts out relaxing to express relief, but always keeps a constant melancholy melody that fits well with how complex the track gets later on; a grim reminder of everything needed to be slain in order to get here, and how much more will still be required to make it to safety.

It’s not like there's a choice either; it’s either this planet’s life, or their own that perishes, and the player characters involved, whether through death or survival, will have this memory to likely haunt them for the rest of their existence… if they’re not already off the deep end, that is.

Near the end, this already emotional track simply explodes into what I consider cool and sad at the same time, making it what I find to be the (Closest to) perfect way to end off this indie roguelike classic from almost a decade ago.

Shoutouts to Risk of Rain 2’s “...con lentitud poderosa” which pays tribute to this track with a shared melody and even slower pace; that already makes for yet another ambitious setup!

And now, long after I prepared this description, a remake called “Risk of Rain Returns” has been recently announced! Although I don’t trust Gearbox to handle the series properly following their acquisition, some of the most important staff from the original are back, hopefully to fix some of the biggest issues from the original’s imperfect coding as well, since that’s getting remade from the ground up too; faith in this remake is quite justified at the moment, even with the worries in mind, let’s see where it goes from here!

People of tumbler I call on you for some technical help. I have the original Xbox one from 2013 and last night it asked to do an update so I was like okay cool. Well it made it to the second part of the update and it was around 7pm at the time we left it overnight and it never turned back on and now will not turn on, but it makes a very faint almost sounds like dying sound when I touch a button every now and again. Does anyone know what to do. We tried almost every troubleshooting thing we could find on the internet to try and get it to turn back on but it just won't. There is no red ring.
