Bored (Vivi x Yeojin ft. Haseul)
AO3
Tags: Vivi x Yeojin, oral sex, bottom!Vivi, top!Yeojin
Tumblr media
It was yet another slow and quiet afternoon in Korea, not much to do as of the moment nor was there much to look forward to. Loona, having finally finished their tours, are now just back in their apartments resting and chilling.
Most of the members were out doing their own thing meanwhile Yeojin and Vivi stayed behind. Knowing it was just the two of them left behind, Yeojin decided to crash at her unnie’s place. There the two of them lazily sat around all morning in Vivi’s bedroom, binging movies and scrolling on their phones.
Vivi was entranced into the film she was watching meanwhile Yeojin was starting to get annoyed as she looked at her phone. She constantly swiped and swiped, refreshing her feed over and over again to find the same posts coming up on her timeline. “Aish… today’s so boring.” Yeojin checked the time to only notice it was just 1:24 pm, still a few hours away from anyone else coming back home. The slow day felt even slower than it was.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaa…” Yeojin let out a long but low grumble as she laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
Vivi caught wind of this, breaking her attention away from the TV. She didn’t really know what to do to help Yeojin but one simple idea immediately came to mind. “Yeojin-ahhh~” Without much warning, Vivi pounces onto Yeojin, lying right beside her as she embraces the small girl with one arm and starts giving her kisses on the cheek.
Yeojin was shocked at the sudden affection, paralyzing her in place for a moment. Usually she would jokingly break down on the spot and playfully shut down but today was different, Yeojin felt like “fighting” back.
Yeojin spun herself until she was on top of Vivi. Then she started showering her with a barrage of kisses while lightly tickling her. It started off very innocent and playful, with Yeojin kissing her alternatively on her big cheeks. Then it slowly shifted, as if some outside force compelled Yeojin to do more. Yeojin’s kisses were aimed at the center of Vivi’s cheeks then it slowly crept its way inward until Yeojin was sneaking kisses on Vivi’s lips. The older girl’s mind was so preoccupied with stopping Yeojin’s quick hands from tickling her that she barely even noticed Yeojin stealing pecks on her lips.
Yeojin stopped for a moment, lifting her head up to look at the giggling girl under her. She had a different look on her face, not one of playfulness but one of desire. Her eyes locked onto her next point of interest - Vivi’s neck.
Yeojin resumes her attack, this time starting from one cheek as she slowly makes her way to Vivi’s neck. Yeojin was still being subtle about it, kissing up a storm while biting her skin from time to time, all the while her hands made quick work, diverting Vivi’s attention from Yeojin’s perviness.
“Yeo- Yeojin, Yeojin, Yeojin-ah! Hahah- St-stop, it’s too much… Hahahaha- St-ah~-”
The moan caught both of them off guard but each had their own reaction to it. Vivi blushed, covering her mouth as if she couldn’t believe she just made such a sound. Yeojin on the other hand, was just surprised the former even made such a dirty noise. A surprise, sure, but a welcomed one nonetheless.
“S-Sorry, Yeojin.” Vivi apologized to the younger girl. To her, they were just goofing around and that the moan was in many ways inappropriate, but little did she know that it was Yeojin’s plan all along.
“Unnie, don’t be sorry. I liked it.” Confusion was the main thing on Vivi’s face as she hears Yeojin’s last few words but she didn’t get to process it much as the latter was diving into her face. Their lips locked together and for a moment both felt only bliss until Vivi pushed Yeojin off of her impulsively.
“Yeojin, should we really do this?”
“Vivi unnie, it’s fiiiine. Besides, it’s just us here, the others won’t be home for hours, none of them have to know. It’ll be our secret.”
Those words didn’t quite do it for Vivi but it erased enough doubt for Yeojin to go back in. Yeojin starts making out with Vivi, this time with no more interruptions. One kiss was all it took for Vivi to melt into the situation, all sense of doubt and reasoning flying out the window as her inner lust took over her judgment.
No longer tickling, now prying. Instead of attacking, Yeojin’s hands were caressing Vivi’s midriff. Smoothly brushing against it as she crept inside the older’s pants. Sneaking into it and past the fabric that covered Vivi’s precious privates.
Yeojin continues her assault on Vivi’s neck, erst covertly now wantonly. Vivi moans out loud, erst shamefully now brazenly.
Vivi’s soaked cunt made it easy for Yeojin to insert her fingers. “You’re so… wet unnie. So naughty~” Vivi couldn’t answer back nor could she do much else but moan under the pleasure, Yeojin was doing such an impeccable job as it is that Vivi just let her do whatever she wanted, fallen into her grasp, succumbed to her temptations. Giving in rather than resisting.
Vivi was having the time of her life getting pleasured and touched all over but things were still rather dull for Yeojin, to her Vivi’s moans weren’t enough, she needed to hear her scream and feel her squirm.
She quickly lowered herself until she was face to face with her crotch. Yeojin was practically foaming at the mouth, her treasure simultaneously so close and so far from her, just a few pieces of clothing separating her from her goal. It was so close she could almost smell it, smell the sweet honey emanating from Vivi.
Vivi was slowly getting her sweatpants undone but Yeojin was impatient, she was hungry and she needed to feast now. Yeojin gripped the waistband and impetuously pulled it off of Vivi’s meaty thighs, now all that’s left is her light pink cotton underwear, a large dark spot indicating just how horny Vivi is currently.
Vivi giggled cutely just as her legs trembled, she was elated, excited, ecstatic beyond words. While she’s had her fair share of sexual acts before, almost none of them compared to the zest she was feeling now.
Like Vivi’s pants, Yeojin recklessly removes her panties as well, almost tearing it off. Vivi’s pussy was now presented to the clear air, her hair kept at a small nice trim. Yeojin sits for a moment, admiring her little side prize. She smelled it then she tasted it, a little preview of what was to come. “Unnie~ You smell and taste so sweet… Fu~uck~” Vivi could only giggle at the maknae’s lewdness as she spread her legs wider in presentation of herself.
As much as she admired the garment in her hands, the source was sitting right there and it wasn’t going to eat itself out. So Yeojin gave the panties back, stuffed it into Vivi’s mouth, let her have a taste of her own juices. The matnae didn’t mind, she may be the oldest but she knew of her place beneath the youngest and she didn’t complain one bit, happily soaking the cloth in another fluid as she awaited Yeojin’s next move on her.
Yeojin was the cute, innocent, little frog no longer; today she’s a wild hungry bear with its eyes set on two delicious meals - a fresh batch of honey dripping down a beehive and a lone defenseless deer. It was surely a lot to take in but she’s got all day to devour this banquet and this deer isn’t running off any time soon.
There in front of her sits her awaited prize, delectable nectar sweet and ripe for the taking. Yeojin was not one to let things go to waste and seeing the juices trickle into the sheets was enough to get her back on the attack. A starved predator no longer salivating from a distance but rather charging straight at its prey.
Yeojin hooked her arms around Vivi’s legs, keeping her in place while also pulling herself closer. Her eyes shone with delight as her face was mere inches away from Vivi’s cunt, while she’s seen the other member’s naked countless times, none of those involved being so close to a vagina.
What Yeojin lacks in experience, she makes up for in “research.” She’s watched enough “material” in her spare time to have an idea of what to do and this was the time to put her “findings” to good use.
Foreplay was already taken care of, not that Yeojin would have engaged in it, so she went straight for the clit. Yeojin quickly dives into the small, pink nub, sucking on it and pleasing it with her tongue. Vivi screeches at the suddenness, barely muffled even with the soft fabric packed into her mouth.
Vivi was sweating so much already and they’ve barely begun. With her body weak, the best she could do was lift her shirt just above her breasts, exposing her tits to the cool breeze in the room. Vivi gropes herself and starts to knead her own chest, ‘torturing’ herself with more pleasure.
Yeojin could feel the gush of fluids on her chin and she was more than ready to have a proper taste. The way Vivi was already shaking was enough of a reaction to know that she was close and Yeojin was beyond excited for it.
Yeojin adjusts herself lower, aligning herself to Vivi’s lips, soaked and glistening in sweet nectar. One long swipe of her tongue sends shivers down both their spines. The honey she so longed for, now in her mouth, such a sweet taste that her brain couldn’t properly grasp. Invigorated and excited were mere understatements to the feelings in Yeojin’s heart.
Yeojin moved her hand to Vivi’s clit, mimicking the movements her tongue previously made that worked on Vivi. Meanwhile her mouth was working wonders on her pussy lips, teasing, nibbling, licking, prodding, just about everything she has in her limited arsenal. Yeojin was beyond satisfied, lapping up every ounce of Vivi’s juices that flowed out - her lustful, insatiable thirst quenched by Vivi’s ambrosia.
Vivi and Yeojin were grateful that the two of them stayed behind, thankful that all the others were busy for a few more hours. An unsought-for circumstance that neither foresaw coming but neither regretted. A happy little accident brought about by simple boredom. With a few more hours together undisturbed, both looked forward to all the naughty little deeds they could do.
—————————
Haseul thanks her driver as she gets off of the car. She stops for a moment, looking around to see if anyone else was around. With no one seemingly around to notice, Haseul checks nearby and finds a package slightly tucked away.
Haseul had just returned from getting her pubic hair shaved, she had told the others that she would be home much later so that she could surprise Vivi with a little gift she had ordered online. Just a little something she got to spice up their lives.
As she arrives at Vivi’s place, she’s blessed with the pleasant surprise of lively moans. She’s caught her lover having sexy personal time on numerous occasions but never has she heard her moan *this* loud, at least, not alone.
Just the mere lewd noises were enough to get Haseul horny but she had to compose herself and keep quiet, it’s something she’s done all the other times she’s caught Vivi with unlocked doors and she always found it cute just how embarrassed she would get.
Upon prying the door slightly open, she’s faced with the reality of what was making Vivi scream so much. Surprise filled her soul… but in a good way, a devilish smirk creeping up on her face as it hid the prior shock. That feeling was mixed with delight and even more lust than usual, seeing the once thought to be innocent Yeojin eating out Vivi was a sight to behold for her, who knew that the maknae of the group was not just dirty but also skilled.
Next thing Haseul knew was that her hands were fumbling to open her jeans and satiate her pulsing heat. Her mind was already clouded with the things she was looking forward to doing with Vivi earlier, but with Yeojin added into the mix? She was going ballistic, too many things to think of in so little time.
“Y-Yeojin… Ah~ AH!!!”
The earthly sounds of the two girls pulled Haseul down from her imaginative high. Vivi’s orgasm was the cue she needed to barge in.
“Wha- UNNIE!!!” “HASEUL! AAAAHH!!!”
-The End?-
A/N: Originally intended on a different Haseul/Yeojin/Vivi storyline but an anon gave that asked and I made this instead, not that I mind. Also, if you guys want to see something in particular for the next part, you could suggest what the contents of the package could be since I don't have that particularly set at the moment.

My thoughts on The Glory
[Spoilers Below]
The editing style was hit and miss for me. See I do like the cutting away from a scene at the right moment, and then revealing the rest of the scene at a later time. It keeps things interesting. But the problem is they did it too often! To the point where I kinda want someone to edit the whole show into chronological order so that they can make it clear when something happened. I mean all I really know for sure is that Myeong-O was murdered on October 19th at around 11:20pm because they kept going back to it lol.
The final episode was a bit of a mess. They can cut out that flashback reveal of the old land lady and young Dong-Eun, and replace it with much needed final shots of the three still-living members of the shitheads. I want a where are they now scene! I needed a scene of Sa-Ra, in prison either sober from drugs finally feeling shit and regretful OR now in prison more drugged up than ever before! Hye-Jeong, now unable to talk, struggles to find work, to communicate, is unable to bag a rich man. And lastly Yeon-Jin...Don't call me sadistic but I kinda wanted to see a violent scene of Yeon-Jin in prison where a group of women (preferably five) gang up on her and force her hand into boiling hot cooking oil or something. Is that crazy? idk it just felt like the final scene of her in prison wasn't enough! I need to see her skin burn!! ....uh anyway.
What I find frustrating, is that I don't know where Dong-Eun's plans and machinations end and the on-the-fly choices of the shitheads begins. It's like...what actually was the point of her becoming a teacher? Why did she reveal herself to the shitheads at the school? Why did it feel like she barely did anything? I guess the answer is 'to keep her hands clean' but idk, it feels wishy washy. Like what would she have done if Jae-Joon actually didn't give a shit that Ye-Sol was his daughter? She told Sa-Ra to fill up a bag full of cash but didn't really give a threatening reason why, Sa-Ra doesn't reeeeaally give a shit about hiding her drug problem. And WHY didn't the shitheads just KILL Dong-Eun? They were monsters as kids they should act far worse now. They're rich enough to hire hitmen ya know? Problem solved. It frustrated me because she revealed herself, openly told them that she was going to destroy them, and they DIDN'T ban together to destroy her first? They're shitheads but do they really have shit for brains??
I did like the reveal of Dong-Eun specifically targeting Yeo-Jeong all those years back, because of his family connection to the hospital where So-Hee's body was. I liked it bc a lot of times during Part 2, his rich people privilege and family connection really helped and I kept thinking "well isnt this convenient" or "its pretty lucky that he's on your side", but as it turns out; it wasn't convenient! It wasn't luck! It was part of her far-fetched "plan". Though it's pretty dang lucky that he was so devoted to her, before she even really did anything.
Dong-Eun and Yeo-Jeong have zero chemistry idgaf. Her and Do-Yeong on the other hand! Now that was chemistry! Now regarding Do-Yeong, it didn't sit well with me that Do-Yeong was the one who murdered Jae-Joon. It makes sense to protect Ye-Sol but ultimately it wasn't really in his character to do that. I wish Ye-Sol all the best and that she seeks therapy.
Also Dong-Eun's mother? Tragic, very sad, but honestly she should've taken care of her mother years ago. She didn't need to do much to get her into an institution.
Despite all my critiques, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. It takes a lot for me to sit through k-dramas, and this one was top quality binge worthy

ALSO, GUESS WHO'S OUT OF TUMBLR PRISON 🎊🎉
main masterlist
It's about 11.30 in the evening and Yeosang and I were in my living room, bingeing 'Peaky Blinders'. He came over earlier this afternoon because he said, and I quote, ' I need to get away from all of the chaos Wooyoung is making at home'.
"I don't know why you like him. I mean, what do you see in him?"
Yeosang sat back down on the couch, handing me a mug.
"Yeo, you're talking about someone you've known for 8 years here. He's literally your roommate slash best friend."
"Exactly why I want to know what you see in him. I've lived with him for 4 years and he has a different girl in his bed every weekend. I mean, I love Wooyoung, I really do, but the dude does not have a good reputation with girls."
"Look," I shifted so that I was facing Yeosang instead of the TV, "If I could control my feelings, I would. However, I can't, which means I have to live with it until my body decides to like someone else."
"How about San?"
"What?"
"San, you know? My other roommate? The one that -"
Furrowing my brows, I cut Yeosang off, "I know who San is. What about him?"
"How about liking him instead? You've known the two for the same amount of time, and they're always attached at the hip. Maybe you actually like San. Plus, I'm pretty sure he likes you."
"Okay, first off, San definitely doesn't like me like that. Second off, stop talking about this. Nothing's gonna come out of it anyways. We'll just be friends."
Raising his hands in surrender, "Okay, no need to get worked up over -"
Yeosang was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. Frowning, I looked around for my phone.
"Who is calling you at midnight?"
Yeosang looked around for my phone.
"How the hell would I know? Now, where's my phone?"
Yeosang shifted in his seat before pausing, "You know what? I think I'm sitting on it."
Standing up, Yeosang took the phone that was under him and handed it to me.
Furrowing my brows, I looked towards Yeosang, "Uh, why is your roommate calling me?"
"What?" Yeosang leaned in closer to look at my phone.
Answering the call, I brought the phone up to my ear with Yeosang pressing against me, trying to listen in.
"Wooyoung? What's up?"
Hearing music from the other side, I took a glance at Yeosang.
Was he at a bar?
"Hey, are you there?"
Just as I was about to hang up, a voice came through.
"Hello? Is this Y/N?"
Double checking the caller ID, I brought the phone back to my ear.
"It is, yes."
"I'm a bartender at Moon Club. The gentleman has had a lot to drink. Could you come pick him up?"
Sharing a look with Yeosang, "Um, yeah. I'll be there in about 20 minutes."
Hanging up the phone, I just looked at Yeosang.
"Why the hell did they call me? Don't they normally call the person you mumble or the last person you called or something?"
Shrugging, Yeosang made himself comfortable, "I don't know, I also don't care. Now, off you go. You said you'd be there in 20."
Blinking, I looked back at him, "You're not coming?"
"No, thank you. I've done it enough times. You can do it. Oh, and remember to make sure he changes before bed."
Dumfounded, I stared at him before sighing and grabbing my car keys.
"And whatever you do! Do NOT sleep with him!"
Closing the door behind me, I made my way to the car before driving to the club.
Tumblr media
The drive there was quick. Probably because of how late it was.
Entering the club, I was hit by the sound of a strong bass and the smell of a mixture of perfumes and alcohol.
Quickly making my way to the bar, I saw Wooyoung laying his head down on his arm as a bartender handed him a glass of water. Slipping my way through the crowd, I reached Wooyoung.
"Wooyoung."
Lifting his head, Wooyoung looked at me with hazy eyes, pausing as his brain registered who I was.
"Y/N-ahhhhh!"
Wooyoung got up from the stool, stumbling over his feet as he did so.
Grabbing a hold of his arm, I made sure he was steady before turning to the bartender.
"Has he paid for his drinks yet, or?"
"You're good. The drinks are already paid for."
Nodding, I led Wooyoung out of the club and into the car.
"Okay, let's get you home."
Starting the car, I pulled out of the car park.
"Hmmm, churinaaaa."
Hearing Wooyoung mumble something, I glanced at him.
"What?"
Not hearing him respond, I simply shrugged it off and carried on driving.
Tumblr media
Guiding Wooyoung to their flat, I leaned him against the wall by the door.
Ringing the bell, I waited a few seconds for San to open the door. Hearing no movement on the other side, I realised he must've been out.
"Wooyoung, hey," Patting him on the cheek, I tried to get him to look at me.
"Wha -?"
Lifting his head, Wooyoung looked at me.
"Where are your keys?"
He just stood there before slumping against the wall again.
Pinching the bridge of my nose, I debated on whether or not I should just leave him in the corridor for the night. Because this is not how I expected my Friday night/Saturday morning to be.
Sighing, I reached a hand out, running it over his jean pockets, successfully locating his keys in the right front pocket on the first try.
Fishing them out, I opened the door before helping Wooyoung inside.
Kicking the door shut, I guided Wooyoung into his room, throwing him onto the bed before going to the kitchen.
Filling a glass with water, I went through some of their cabinets for some ibuprofen. Once I got everything, I walked back to his room, only to find him sitting up, looking at the door.
Placing the water and tablets on the nightstand, I turned to Wooyoung.
"Come on, get ready for bed."
Helping him out of his shoes and shirt, I tried to get him to lie down.
"Dude, as much as I like you, I'm not taking your jeans off. You either go to sleep like this or take them off yourself."
Sighing, I turned around to get my phone, wanting to call Yeosang to come back, but found myself being tugged into open arms.
"Stay."
Blinking, I was confused, "What?"
Furrowing my brows, I turned my head to the side. Trying to get out of his arms.
Wooyoung had his buried against the side of my neck, "Jaein, stay. Please."
Rolling my eyes, I struggled out of his arms.
"Wooyoung. I'm Y/N. Not Jaein. Now go to sleep. You're drunk."
Ignoring the twist in my stomach, I tried to dodge his hands.
And I failed.
His hands went straight to the sides of my face and pulled me in. The second I felt his lips on mine, my mind went blank. I didn't know what to do.
Feeling him move one of his hands to my waist snapped me out of my trance.
Pushing him with all of my strength, I watched as he fell onto the bed behind him, before leaving. Trying to keep all emotions at bay.
This was not what I wanted.
Wiping my mouth, I grabbed my keys and phone by the door and left the flat.
"Y/N?"
Looking up, I saw San come out of the lift, confused.
"What are you doing here?"
Schooling my face into a smile, "Oh! Wooyoung was drunk and the bartender called me to get him. He's inside right now. Can you handle him?"
"Yeah, no, sure. You head back home. I'll deal with him."
Smiling I hugged San before rushing into the lift.
Once I was in my car, I sat in the dark for a while. Collecting my thoughts.
Jaein. The first and only girl Wooyoung loved. They dated for 3 years in high school and later went to different universities. They broke up because he found her cheating on him when he wanted to surprise her. After that, Wooyoung didn’t care for relationships. He simply slept around.
Laughing at myself. I realised why Wooyoung was actually friends with me. I remember how surprised Yeosang had been when Wooyoung said that we were friends because he told me that Wooyoung didn't have any female friends.
Ignoring all of the pain I was feeling, I now knew that Wooyoung didn't see me as a friend. He saw me as a stand-in for his ex-girlfriend.
Closing my eyes, I took a couple of deep breaths before pulling out of the car park.
Tumblr media
By the time I got home, it was already 1.30 in the morning.
"You're back! Finally! What took you so long?"
Walking into the living room, I saw Yeosang give me a once over before he frowned and pulled me down next to him.
"What happened? You didn't sleep with him, right? I warned you -"
"I didn't sleep with him."
Leaning into him, I let Yeosang wrap his arms around me.
"Wooyoung called me Jaein. "
"What?"
"He called me Jaein. Which means, deep down, or maybe not so deep down, Wooyoung sees me as a substitute, a stand-in for his ex-girlfriend. Oh, he kissed me as well. Thinking I was her."
There was a pause before Yeosang said anything.
"I'm sorry."
Breathing out a laugh, I turned my head to look at a picture I had next to the couch. The picture was taken on Halloween last year. We all decided to stay in that year and just watch horror films as we drank and talked. In the picture, Yeosang and San were standing behind me, smiles on both their faces as they held up their beers. Wooyoung was sitting next to me, an arm around my shoulder, and his cheek pressed against mine. That was actually one of the best nights I ever had with them.
"Y'know, I would've preferred if Wooyoung rejected me, because knowing that he sees me as Jaein hurts way more."
Sitting there, we both stared at the tv screen. Our minds miles away.
-1 week later-
Standing in front of Yeosang's flat, I hovered my hand on the doorbell, wondering why the hell I was there.
San invited me over for a Marvel movie marathon and couldn't say no because as much as I wanted to, San didn't do anything.
Taking a deep breath, I rang the doorbell, though I quickly regretted it a few moments later.
"Hey."
Feeling my breath get caught in my throat, I watched as Wooyoung opened up the door to let me in. A warm smile on his face.
Forcing a small smile onto my face, I entered, "Hi."
Placing my bag by the door, I went into the living room, trying to find San.
"San's in the kitchen making the popcorn. So, just make yourself comfortable on the couch."
Sitting on the couch, I unfolded one of the throws and threw it over myself.
"So," Wooyoung sat down on the opposite end of the couch, looking at me, "Are you and San dating?"
"No." San came out of the kitchen, placing the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table before he started to set up the TV.
"Just friends."
Wooyoung nodded slightly before clearing his throat, "So, um, San told me that you picked me up last Friday? I didn't do anything, right?"
Glancing at San, I saw him look back at me.
You see, San knew I had a crush on Wooyoung from the very start, he saw right through me. I didn't even have to tell him. And just like before, San knew something happened last Friday without me having to tell him. It was one of the main reasons I was here.
"No. You were, good."
Clapping his hands, Wooyoung got up from the couch, "Right, I'm gonna go now. I have an appointment with Allison."
San got all of the movies in order and took a seat next to me, "Andrea."
Nodding his head once, Wooyoung grabbed his keys off the table, "Right, I'll be home tomorrow morning. Bye."
The second we heard the door click shut, San turned to me.
"Tell me what happened."

Love to Hate You
Tumblr media
Netflix's newest Korean romantic comedy premiered on February 10th. Love to Hate You tells the story of a female attorney that doesn't like to lose to men and an actor that hates women.
The first couple of episodes are hard to get through, sometimes it's the misogyny, and other times it's the comments about being gay and it ruining everything. This is South Korea where being gay isn't widely accepted but it's still tough to get past sometimes.
At first, I hated both Yeo Mi-Ran and Nam Gang-Ho. Yeo Mi-Ran, played by Kim Ok-Vin, is over the top and her motivations and actions against Nam Gang-Ho seemed excessive. I get she doesn't like when men are sexist but damn girl.
Nam Gang-Ho, without going into too many spoilers, has the worst reason for not liking women. Teo Yoo plays Gang-Ho really well, and I loved seeing him open up and smile more as the show progressed, but it's not really a valid reason my dude.
As the show goes on, and you learn a little more about the characters, you learn why they act the way they do. Although, it's not a justification. Without giving spoilers just because someone wrongs you doesn't mean you have to punish everyone around you.
Overall, by the end of the series I was into it but I am a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers story. With only 10 episodes Love to Hate You is a great weekend binge. Love to Hate You is streaming on @netflix.

The Glory part 1 and 2 Overall Thoughts
Slight spoilers ahead!
I think The Glory is the perfect kind of show for the watch style that Netflix likes to promote with its originals. I don't think I would have enjoyed this show as much if I didn't get to binge part one all in one sitting and do the same with part two. Binging really disguises many of the miniscule flaws this show probably has and in the end we're left with a deeply satisfying and cathartic revenge story.
This show is understandably not going to be everyone's cup of tea. The opening episodes have scenes of horrific bullying that can be triggering and incredibly hard to stomach. I understand why it was necessary though as it allows the viewers to feel the visceral anger and hopelessness of the main protagonist Moon Dong Eun.
The acting performances in this drama are top-notch but the standout in my opinion has to be Shin Ye Eun who plays the young version of Park Yeon Jin the main antagonist. I never thought Shin Ye Eun was a great actress before this but she's legitimately terrifying in this role, I both wanted to see more of her and less of her at the same time because she's so good as young Park Yeon Jin but I knew if we saw more of her we would have to see more of the horrible bullying. It got to the point where part of me wishes young Moon Dong Eun could have gotten revenge on young Park Yeon Jin just to see her reactions.
Slight spoilers ahead where I discuss two particular issues I had with the drama.
Like I said before, the show probably has more flaws that I'm not specifically pointing out I know there are people that have issues with the show and I don't really want to put too much of my focus on that because overall I thoroughly enjoyed this show.
The first issue that really stood out to me is although this drama does a really good job at centering bullying from a victim's perspective I do think they put a little too much emphasis on the physical scars that bullying leaves compared to the emotional ones. What I mean by this is that we see Moon Dong Eun use her scars to shock both Joo Yeo Jung and Ha Do Young and try to get them when they tried to dissuade her from getting revenge. In my opinion by doing this it kind of ignores the fact that people get horribly bullied but not have any physical scars but a multitude of emotional ones.
The second issue I have looks like it's probably a common complaint that lots of viewers have with this show and has to do with a character of Joo Yeo Jung. But I think my complaint differs from most people in that I didn't dislike the love line between Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun, the common reasons listed for being against their love-line are the big age gap between the actors and the fact that Song Hye Kyo has more chemistry with Jung Sung Il, all this is true and the love line is definitely the dramas weakest link but there's so little of it until the very end that it's pretty easy to ignore. However, I understand the writer's old school intentions behind the love line even though never translated to screen all that well. In the end, Moon Dong Eun got everything her 18-year-old self never got to have and got her version of a fairy tale ending.
I personally just wish the character of Joo Yeo Jung was a shade or two darker than he ended up being as we know Lee Do Hyun has the acting chops to pull it off in fact I think it's mostly thanks to his natural screen presence and acting skills that the character of Joo Yeo Jung doesn't feel out of place. His character's best moments definitely come when he lets out some of the darkness under the Pretty Boy veneer. I don't think any of the actors in his age group with a similar level of fame could have pulled it off.
I think I speak for most of the viewers of this show but Lee Do Hyun would be terrific in a psychopathic role. K-dramaland please let this man play a psychopath already!
For me it's hard to talk about the flaws of the show because in my opinion it got most of the really important things totally right. It never dumbed down its villains so the protagonist could have an easy win it made each win feel hard-earned and best of all satisfying. And perhaps most importantly it never tried to make you sympathize with its villains it portrayed them as fully fleshed human beings but never tried to justify their horrific behavior. It wrapped up every single storyline without any plot holes and I will always be thankful it handled Ye Sol's storyline that way it did. I was totally expecting them to screw up the storyline somehow but no Ha Do Young is Ye Sol's dad forever!
Whether you love or hate this drama, it's hard to discount the cultural impact this show has had on Korea and different parts of Asia in terms of the subject of bullying. Because of this show there has been news reports of people finding the courage to confront their bullies and famous people getting outed for their past bullying. With that being said I guess I have to touch on the fact that the director of the show himself had allegations of bullying what against him when part 2 got released. I don't think anyone should boycott the show because of the allegations as it seems like the situation is not so clear-cut. I think this article with its title sums up the situation the best so I'll just put the full title here: ‘The Glory’ director Ahn Gil Ho faces ‘bullying’ allegations from accuser that oddly seems to admit bullying themselves
TLDR: The Glory will not be for everyone but is a super satisfying revenge tale that boosts terrific acting performances with a few missteps along the way but those miniscule imperfections will most likely be in your rear-view mirror after the cathartic Netflix binge. 9/10

Vincenzo
Genre: Crime drama, dark comedy
Episodes: 20
Starring: Song Joong-Ki, Jeon Yeo-Bin, Taec Yeon, Kim Yeo-Jin, Kwak Dong-Yeon
Synopsis: Park Joo-hyung was adopted by an Italian family. He later joins the mafia and is adopted by Don Fabio, head of the Cassano Family. Renamed “Vincenzo Cassano” he becomes a lawyer, a consigliere for the mafia, and Don Fabio's right-hand man. After Fabio dies, Paolo, Fabio's biological son and the new leader of the Cassano Family attempts to kill Vincenzo. He flees to Seoul and sets out to recover 1.5 tons of gold and gets involved in conflict with korean mafia.
Positives: Very well written drama with interesting plot and fun characters. It's full of action, mafia intriques, curruption, but also love, friendsip, emotions and humor. Besides great character of lovely mischievous Vincenzo himself, this drama has a lot of really fun and crazy characters that you will love. It's crazy and nerve-wracking. The villans are top tier.
Negatives: A lot of product placement. Also, I would not recommend it for people who don't like graphic violence.
Conclusion: One of the best korean dramas I have seen. It really is a fun ride. The plot, the humor, the characters, the romance...everything is perfectly balanced. I would recommend it to everyone who just want a goot tv show to binge watch.
Action: 8/10 Romance: 7/10 Intriques: 10/10 Blood: 8/10 Whump: 7/10 Friendship: 8/10 Emotions: 8/10 Humor: 8//10

Just recently finished Beyond Evil and I'm beyond in love with Shin Ha Kyun and have been binge-watching anything with him in it and noticed he seems kinda flirty with men. I'm American and am still getting used to South Korean skinship so maybe I'm just reading too much into the way he interacts with men but in some videos he just seems so into his male co-stars (for example: bts of running man; my brother photo shoot; murder take one interview). Plus, I feel like some of his acting choices are super sus (there are a few twitter threads that have been enlightening like wtf was the popsicle scene???). But I read he dated Bae Doona and Kim Go Eun so part of me thinks he's just really shy around women and maybe even has a secret gf now but a friend of mine thinks his past relationships were fake bc there's rumors that those two women don't like men? I'm so confused and don't really care how he identifies as long as he's happy but was wondering what you thought (you don't have to pub this if it's too weird!). I'm also side-eyeing Yeo Jin Goo and how he acts around older men in particular lolllll.
Hey! Thanks for sending me this ☺️
I will prefix this by saying that I don't know much about what is considered "acceptable" or common interactions for male relationships (platonic of otherwise) in South Korean culture. So, much like you, I don't have much of a gauge of Shin Ha Kyun's interactions.
Also, I love my man Ha Kyun but I haven't delved much into his personal life or much of the BTS for his work (other than Beyond Evil). But to me, he seems like a introverted, funny, charismatic, almost shy man who is very easy to get on with. He's professional, intelligent, serious, and extremely capable. But also, immensely private. So, I think if he was comfortable with the public knowing his dating history, he would let it be public knowledge.
As he doesn't seem to want it to be publicly known, I don't really feel comfortable speculating on it. Our man likes who he likes, and let's hope he's happy with whomever is lucky enough to share a life with him. But I totally get where you're coming from and I understand the curiosity 😊
Yeo Jin Goo is a funny guy, who really seems to have outstanding chemistry with all of his costars. He does seem to look up to some of his older male costars and that admiration shines through.
I think both of them should be applauded for keeping their private lives private because that's sooo difficult these days, especially for people in the public eye.
I do think this topic as a whole is very interesting (queer people in the public light), especially with social sensibilities and constructs ever-changing. But it is difficult to discuss without including real-life examples, which kind of goes against what I'm comfortable discussing here... What I'm trying to say is as a queer person, I would love to know of more public figures who are queer but also as a (in real life) "closeted" queer person, I understand the want/need to keep these personal info private ☺️
I feel like that's a bit of an unsatisfactory answer but I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Thank you again, if there's anything else you'd want to discuss, please never hesitate to contact me ☺️
Have a great day!

BINGE READERS.... START YOUR ENGINES
Chapter 41 is now up. The final chapter. It's all done. It's all dusted. It's finished.
Summary:
The murder of a prosecutor and his family causes Han Yeo-Jin and Hwang Si-Mok to work together. As they pull on threads and uncover the entire tapestry, how will they find the perpetrators and stay alive? And then there’s the small matter of working out how to be a functioning couple with all the trimmings. Happens after ‘Meet Me Halfway’ (A.K.A. ‘How they got together’); you do not have to read that to understand this. Ladies, gentlemen, boths and neithers: strap in - this one’s extra long and extra crunchy. Kind of like an unofficial season three.
Ao3 Tags:

This took me a year to write and about 5 months to post.
And now

Binge watching The Glory made me feel like I should dunk myself in a pool of Holy water and leave the world. I mean I understand it's an A rated (tbh I didn't even check that time) and also that I'm well above the age limit but oh my God, why'd they curse in every line lmao. I feel like they highly exaggerated on the cussing part/took the 'A' rated tooo seriously. ><
Tumblr media
Hi hello I just finished watching myself
Yeah the translations exaggerate the cursing a bit but it's def mature with a capital M regardless. I was more >.> at the sexual content personally like was some of that really necessary? No, it wasn't.
Gosh I was worried for Hyun Nam too but they really came though for her. Sooo glad she's happy and thriving now. I love her character so much like what a strong, amazing woman.
I agree im kinda glad they didn't kill directly. At least so that they can move on. I will admit I'd hoped for more carnage way back when part 1 aired but this is more realistic lol. You'd think with all the talk Yeo Jung had about being her executioner there would have been more stabbing tho. XD
Loved how nicely everything wrapped up like no important threads were left untied. Love how they took the time to pay attention to Yeo Jung's revenge too. Ugh just. What an ending what a show.
And the most important thing of all... THE SHIP HAS SAILED REVENGE COUPLE IS A COUPLE AND THEY ARE SOOOO MORALLY GRAY

There are thrillers/crime dramas (that will probably make me cry), historical tv shows (that will definitely make me cry), supernatural romance shows (where I'll probably be shipping something other than the main couple and it will be a doomed ship to boot), zombies, BL, etc. Unfortunately, this list is only ever growing because... I can't make myself start things (or finish things), I have to be in the right mood to binge something (which is hard to pinpoint sometimes) and there's also me simply having no real free time. However, I want to imagine that I will get to all of those shows eventually!

Inspector Koo (I'm on episode ten and really trying to finish it!)
The Silent Sea (...paused)
re-watching
Strangers from Hell (on episode 7, my beloved)

i haven’t been watching a lot because i can never seem to find the time but i’m trying :’)
(Thank you @idaappreciationpage for tagging me!)
currently watching
My Liberation Notes - I like it but it’s not something I can watch at once because it gets way too real for me. But I love it. It’s a quiet drama and the pining is just delicious  *mwah*
Banana Fish - I’ve been watching it since November 🥴 I’m watching it for a friend but I keep stopping and starting
Rise of the Pheonixes - it’s a Chinese drama and it’s cinematically beautiful but there’s 60eps which really tests my commitment capability and attention span. I started this in November too...
Derry Girls - I’m waiting for the current series to finish to binge watch the rest
Twenty One Twenty Five - I got halfway through but stopped and now I have no motivation to pick it back up but it is a good show.
Moon Knight - I wasn’t that interested at first but I’m loving it tbh. Steven Grant is such a pathetic little British man, he makes me feel better about myself but I also feel so sorry for him TT poor dude
Bad Buddy - Prat and Pran as such a petty and competitive couple and I love it. But do you know which pairing I love more? Ink and Pa. THEY ARE GIRLFRIENDS and you can’t convince me otherwise.
rewatch
Beyond Evil- it’s always a good time to rewatch it 🤩
My Mister - A show that pulls you apart and then puts you back together. My comfort show.
Crowned Clown - For Yeo Jin Goo. What more can I say?
Dark - My depression simulator. If anyone is ever look for a dark show, this is literally it
watchlist
Monstrous - it looks intriuging. It also has the guy from DP from it and I love him in that show
Link - Again, for Yeo Jin Goo. Everything is for him. And I know he’s gonna bring out all his acting chops for this role. He never disappoints 😌
Killing Eve- Maybe one day, I’ll watch the final season. Though I’ve heard things and I am SCARED
Unfortunately, there’s not much on my watch list right now. But I’m always open for some new recs!
Tagging @diachia, @chaoticdweeb, @godswallowing, @angst-wizard and @katierosefun

Drama Gossip: Love for Love's Sake
Tumblr media
Source: Google Images
Twenty-nine-year-old Tae Myung Ha experiences a bewildering twist of fate when suddenly finds himself transported into a fictional online game where he inhabits the body of a ninteen-year-old character. Soon, Tae Myung Ha embarks on a quest within the virtual world to bring happiness to a character named Cha Yeo Woon.
Despite his humble upbringing, Cha Yeo Woon has managed to excel in the national track and field championships, maintaining a remarkable reputation among his peers due to his handsome looks and athletic physique.
Cheon Sang Won hails from an affluent family and becomes emotionally entangled with Tae Myung Ha. His involvement adds complexity to the developing relationship between Tae Myung Ha and Cha Yeo Woon. Ahn Kyung Hoon, introverted and reserved, supports and assists Tae Myung Ha on his mission within the virtual world.

I Wanted More
For a drama that almost has nothing much going on, these 8 episodes flowed through very quickly. Despite the lack of drama, it is one of the more binge-able BL dramas out there. Moreover, the twist, that revelation in the last episode, I did not see that coming considering this was such a feel-good BL, I like the surprise the twist gave me.
Of course, although I thought this show flowed smoothly and the ending felt like it came at the right time, I kind of wanted more from this show. Maybe with 'more', the transition from a Yeo Woon that had negative fondness towards Myung Ha to a Yeo Woon who liked Myung Ha would not feel so abrupt. Neither would the rather horrific system errors in the second last episode feel so stifling.
With that said, yes I want more but only because I want more of Myung Ha and Yeo Woon, I like their chemistry. It wasn't too lovey dovey but it was still innocently cute. I wouldn't have minded if we saw more of Sang Won as well, his character development was random but I like a reformed bully, one who's really a golden retriever but only became an asshole due to childhood neglect.
In conclusion, in spite of a little dark tone near the end of the drama, Love for Love's Sake is quite a feel-good show.
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.5/5)
