Gratitudine

Il 2020 è stato un anno decisamente difficile per tutti, per altri molto di più. Io in fondo non sono stata troppo sfortunata, nel bene o nel male sono viva. Sono grata di tutte le cose meravigliose che ho, per la mia famiglia, per il mio amore, per il mio bambino, per il mio lavoro.. che anche se quest’anno ho perso molti lavori, posso dire di averne ancora uno; per la salute.. penso che il mio corpo non sia mai stato meglio, soprattutto grazie allo yoga; per essere nata in un posto bellissimo dove non devo andare a dormire con un occhio aperto, dove posso fare sogni tranquilli tra le braccia della persona che amo e tenendo stretto il frutto del nostro amore. Sono stata davvero fortunata, tra alti e bassi, ma sempre circondata da amore.<3 Mi auguro che il 2021 possa portare un po’ d’amore, di serenità e di salute nella casa di ogni persona <3

I weigh a lot. Right now, I think about 158/160lbs?? (Not so sure Bc it’s been awhile since I weighed in) I’m 5’9” and feel amazing almost every day.💃🏼 ———> so can we talk about weight real quick??? I’m truly thankful for the scales that have gotten me here.Yet also thankful that I don’t care anymore- what that number reads. I think the problem most of us have - that I had- is the emotional attachment TO the scale. When in all reality- numbers are just numbers. They help us track progress. that’s it. Bigger is not bad NOR good. It’s just what it is. —————————— I used to be OBSESSED with the scale- Bc all I wanted was to see that number go down. and because of that, I had a STRONG hate & sensitivity towards scales, for a long time. **But without the scale- I stopped tracking my progress, and suddenly I was up 8 lbs from the last time I could remember....and all that stress came back.😳 <When, like I said. It’s just a number.> What I realized is that I may have gained muscle. (Weighs more than fat) and the bigger issue that I REALLY needed to address- was the extreme emotional reaction I had- TO the scale. ——————— ive learned that using it obsessively can be harmful. Yet throwing it in the fireplace out of spite & anger can be JUST as dangerous. There has to be a balance. And I think I’ve finally found it.💗 I just had to disconnect from the emotions of it all. Can we all just stop being afraid of- and obsessing over the scale?? YOU are beautiful because you are you. If you want to be healthy- the scale might help you get there. But it doesn’t define your beauty.
