Yesterday | H.S. Blurb/Fic

*authors note: I got this idea for a whole fic, so here’s a short blurb of it:) please put any questions you have, I left it pretty mysterious because I want to lure you guys in 👀 and just any comments are appreciated🧡

Warnings; heights, nothing else:)

“Okay go again, I promise I’ll get it.”

I ran to the very edge of the cliff before stopping abruptly.

Harry looked at me with a playfully annoyed smile.

“Come on, you did it twice, just once more.” He chuckled. Holding the camera back up to his face.

“Fuck you, why don’t you try jumping again and again.”

He threw his head black and cackled. I pouted my way towards him.

He lifted the camera to properly hug me. As I leaned my head on my chest I felt the warmth of his body. Despite the cool breeze, his body always felt warm. His hands was rubbing my back soothingly while we stood in silence for a few minutes.

“ I love you.” He spook it so lowly, it’s almost like he didn’t want me to hear.

“I know.” I replied, he didn’t need me to say it to know.

He knew I loved him.

“I won’t be gone for long,” he took a deep breath, “ and you have sonny and Martha to keep you company, take this-”

I cut him off “let’s not talk about this now, we’ll just start going at it again.”

When I looked at him he had a boyish grin on his face due to the innocuous meaning going at it meant to him.

I rolled my eyes “You might be half-way to thirty, but god you are still such a boy.” Despite my words I couldn’t help the smile that crept onto my face.

He wrapped his arms around me and swayed us. “I know, I don’t want us to fight but, I want you to not be sad too.”

Harry was too good for this world. He constantly worried about me and how I was doing. Sure it came with being in a relationship, but he cared so much it consumed his whole life.

He would be away on tour for 6 months. Our first time being apart since the accident.

I had to beg him to go back to work. “I’ll be fine.” I had said those words to him hundreds, if not thousands of times.

He needed this time for himself.

And I could use some alone-time as well.

Everytime we talked about the break apart we would spend, it ended with arguing and then having sex.

We were both too afraid and anxious to talk about why we were nervous to be apart, so we didn’t say it at all.

Instead we yelled and screamed, then touched each other and kissed. Until we forgot and left the conversation for another time.

We knew we would have to talk about yesterday, and everyday before that soon.

You and Zayn both have the day off, you guys have been so busy lately that you don’t have time to just enjoys each other’s company. You get out of bed first, slowly tip toeing your way to the kitchen to surprise him with some huge beautiful breakfast. Zayn wakes up and finds you in the kitchen before you’re completely finished. He goes up behind you,resting his arms on your hips and his head on your shoulder, leaving small kisses on your face and neck. You complain about how you were trying to surprise him, but he cuts you off with a soft kiss. You both eats and he leads you back into bed, holding you close and smothering you in soft kisses all over your face,shoulders,neck and ears. You spend the rest of the day in bed, laying your head on his heart watching something like riverdale or stranger things, just listening to his steady heartbeat and thanking whatever force brought you two together.

EVENT: LOVE DAY.

The City of Iron River is a big fan of the Valentine’s Day - a number of local places have events to support couples spending more time with each other. Over the years, they’ve moved away from traditional standards of Valentine’s day and into simply: Love Day. Love doesn’t have It’s never limited to just couples, as all love in all shapes, sizes, and orientations is to be cherished and respected. Iron River firmly believed that relationships are best cultivated with time and interest in each other, so if you don’t have a lover - don’t be afraid to grab a friend to take to some on these!

AROUND TOWN

EMBER is hosting a special where the couple could have a three course meal with tailored wine for each course. The couples have a choice of wood charred artichokes with a hummus spread and field greens for the first course. Filet Mignon, Scallops, Avocado Gnocchi with a Parmesan sauce are options for their main course. Dessert will be seasonal and sharable. Each course and meal is paired perfectly with a wine as well.

GRAPHITE is selling painting kits of an x-rated nature for couple to take home and spend time together with. The kit comes with different canvases, paints, and suggestions of what body parts to paint on each other to make the best art projects, as well as some steamy suggestions.

STEELDRIVER is hosting Texas Two Step and Swing dancing lessons. Instructor Betty, who is known almost famously on Instagram, is one of the best dancing coaches in the state, and she loves to teach couple how to dance and feel good with each other.

IRON RIVER STABLES is selling packages to take your favorite person on a romantic trail ride through their expansive grounds, with a personalized picnic basket and a map of some of the best spots on their grounds. Scenic places to stop with the horses include a river view, a beautiful wooded area, and the best shaded tree with a view of the grounds.

The Wiggins have opened THE WIGGINS ESTATE GREENHOUSE and decorated it with a trendy and definitely Instagram worthy photo opportunity for couple. Within the Greenhouse, there is a popup local winery will be providing wine and a charcuterie board for a nominal fee.

BONE AND PLAY is hosting Love Day for owners and their canines. There will be a fun photobooth, a few Love Day special beverages, and later in the evening there will be trivia.

IRONBEND RANCH will be hosting a drive in style movie theater night. Except, people will be asked to leave their cars and instead bring blankets, pillows, and snacks of their choosing to the field were they will project a rom com onto a screen. This event is perfect for families, who want to spend time together as well

BLIND DATE

The local booster club every year collects names and numbers and some other data of local singles, and with a small donation, they’ll match you with another single in the area and pass along the information. They tout having some data based upon science and a few personality traits, but there have been rumors that Mrs. Peabody, famous town gossip and entirely over involved in the citizen’s lives is the one who selects the dates.
