Is the kid at the end of episode 2 Mobius?
It would make perfect sense.
Mobius and Loki were literally just talking about finding Mobius's past hours ago.The foreshadowing all adds up. Plus, at some point they brought up that he would have a different name. His original name is not Mobius. What if it was Jack?
But anyway, if you look at how the kid is dressed-
(a tan overcoat, a striped tie, yellow? brown? clogs, and a white collared shirt)
-it seems a bit familiar..
Tumblr media
The yellowish brown clogs, a white collared shirt, a brown suit, and tie.
Sure, we can take this as the TVA having their own dress code in hues of brown and suites-
Tumblr media
But they all wear it differently.
B-15 wears black formal clothes with no blazer and a red tie. It's representative of being a hunter since they all wear black.
Loki wears the brown suits and all, but he constantly changes how he wears it. He pops the collar, takes off the blazer entirely, rolls up his sleeves, etc. Plus, he has a different tie than everyone else.
Casey never wears the blazer, so it's apparently not a strict requirement.
O.B. doesn't wear a suit at all due to the work he does.
Renslayer wears the suit and all, but it's different. She has a yellow undershirt, a colorfully patterned tie, she keeps it buttoned, etc.
The uniforms for McDonalds at the time were striped red and white, as seen in the episode. The kid chose to wear a tie of his own volition, it's his style.
THEN, Mobius is the only one where he a) keeps the blazer unbuttoned b) wears lighter, laceless shoes, and c) is that specific type of awkward when talking to someone.
When the kid was talking to Sylvie, he said: "Cool, cool." Repeating the same word, but softer. He does it without truly tripping over his words, more so repeating them. Pretending to be casual, but visibly nervous. It is Mobius's sort of mannerism.
The year is 1982. That means that in our present day, Mobius would be in his mid fifties just about. It would also suggest that he was taken by the TVA around now. Seeing as he has gray hair, this shows it could be accurate.
If this were to be true, it means a 2 things.
1. Mobius had a friendship of sorts with Sylvie when he was younger (could be why he is so interested in learning about Lokis in the TVA, they are familiar)
2. Sylvie chose this fast food place on purpose. It couldn't be random. To 'accidentally' find the same job that her variant's friend worked at as a teen. She is planning something.

Loki S2 Finale Prediction
Tumblr media
With all the news and announcements coming out, i decided to make a prediction for what the finale will be. tbh This is based on what I have seen in the trailer and other stuff
——————————————————————————
The episode would pick up back where it all started in episode 1, where the TVA is in shambles and Loki would be time slipping (or not)
Now from episode 1, it's understood that Loki HAD the ability to go from the past, present and future of the TVA with a part of that future being seen towards the end of episode 1, with the phone ringing, Sylvie struggling to get the elevator door open and present Loki being pruned by someone (which many have believed to be future Loki) but I beg to differ.
I don’t think it was future Loki pruning past (or our current) Loki, and the only reason why I believe this is because, TO ME it doesn’t make sense how FUTURE LOKI would prune his past self, how could 2 versions of Loki be in the same timeline of the TVA? Especially since Loki has been time slipping back and forth that entire episode.
NOT TO MENTION that Sylvie calls him out “There you are!” As if she’s been searching for him for AGES or is relieved to find him, but before anything could happen, Loki is pruned and sent back to the present (to where EP1 left off)
Why would “FUTURE” Loki prune himself? Because he knew that “it's what needed to be done?”, to me it doesn’t make sense nor do I think it’s plausible that it was him….so who pruned Loki?
My 2 guesses are Ravonna Renslayer or Victor Timely, with my bet being Victor Timely, which leads me to believe that Loki had to sacrifice himself (as seen by 2 shots in the trailer of Sylvie and Mobius with mortified faces and Loki simply smiling back)
Now why would he prune Loki? Because by sending him back to the past, Victor Timely has full control and power to start the TVA all over again or at least re-claim control of it in the future, and basically reset everything once again (as explained by He Who Remains in the S1 Finale)
So by the time we the audience and present Loki reach the future (or S2 finale) it would have been too late.
I don’t think Marvel would kill Loki off, honestly, in the position Marvel is in right now, it is NOT a good business decision, ALTHOUGH from a story point position…ending the Loki arc with a banger Season 2 would not only seal Loki’s entire history in the franchise, giving him a good or bad ending, is up to debate, but PERSONALLY a bitter-sweet ending would fit well for a character like Loki
I think the finale would involve Loki sacrificing himself to save the TVA, Sylvie, Mobius, and essentially…everyone. The future we saw in S1 was a future too late, it was bound to happen and this sacrifice, where I am pretty sure he would be back in the temporal loom could possibly kill him…or maybe spit him into a different timeline…or maybe…he wakes up, and he’s in Valhalla
——————————————————————————
I love fan theories and predictions, literally speculation of what could happen is just so fun so if y’all have ur own theories or predictions, go ahead and comment/reblog it, i love love love reading them!!

i've really had xina and miguel's dynamic under a microscope lately; right now my object of scrutiny is xina's use of "kevorkian" in issue #26. it's a quick, tongue-in-cheek comment about miguel's suicidality; kevorkian, at the time of publication, was routinely making headlines for his stance taken and assistance in physician-assisted suicides.
we know early on that xina is, as miguel describes, a "twencen freak," which manifests the most prominently via a love for old pop culture, but it doesn't stop there. she notably talks about alchemax's habit of erasing history, has a lifelike version of a old political figure in her home, and, in this case, brings up a name that's big in bioethics debates.
importantly, she says it very offhandedly, implying that she and miguel have had these discussions before—and i doubt the state is particularly eager to bring up any talk of ethics to their scientists-in-training.
my take on miguel sinking deeper into alchemax's agenda is that while he really doesn't care for the institution itself, he's mistakenly convinced himself that he's chosen the most politically neutral option possible. science is anything but apolitical; it is deeply, irretrievably steeped in concerns about morality. at the time miguel and xina were drifting apart, this wasn't something he wanted to mull over. (after all, once he realizes he's an accessory to state-sanctioned oppression, he wants nothing more than his life to end.)
xina is smart, yes—and i think, knowledgeable, specifically, in ways that directly challenged the delicate mental gymnasium that miguel had started to build for himself. it's not just that xina being more intelligent became a problem. she was also probably (and rightfully) challenging the value of his work, the completeness of his knowledge, and becoming a huge source of cognitive dissonance.
he's the geneticist, but xina, who specializes in an entirely different field, was engaging him in talks about the ethical implications of the work he was doing. trying to get him to think for himself, appealing to the good person she sincerely believes exists in this strange new version of her friend.

Theory for MCU BP3 :
Attuma is the next BP3 villian… and perhaps Okoye will play a part as well…
Tumblr media
I recently saw analysis that ryan coogler purposely puts the villains in blue….
Killmonger, Wkabi and the border tribe, Namor and the Talokanil…
And towards the ends of the movie we saw Okoye deleted scenes where she could’ve betrayed Shuri and taken the throne… and she’s wearing her border tribe blues. This could be debunked bc when she leaves Wakanda and Shuri she is wearing yellow and says “whenever you need me.” Which also confirms that she is not in contact with Wkabi.
Idk not trying to start anything but… what if as a character arc, Okoye leaves Wakanda until she’s called and they follow the comics in having Attuma rise up against Namor… and then Okoye is there when he invades and he recognizes her and goes “be my queen. fuck Wakanda, they left you to rot. I would never do anything like that. We can rule both kingdoms together” and she agrees bc maybe he wooed her and she falls for him, but then last minute she’s like “For Wakanda!” and turns against Attuma and then they follow the comics again and have Attuma act as a protector of “Atlantis” who doesn’t really follow Namor but fights with him sometimes. And he is still bent on getting Okoye to marry him. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️
I infer this bc perhaps the end scene with Namora Will effect how loyal she is to Ku’kul’kan and she will also turn against him and She and Attuma will attempt to overthrow him.
Idk it’s just a theory 👀

To be clear this is not a prediction of a queer romance in the show because I'd never put my hope in a Disney/Marvel production like that but.
I don't know whether to side-eye Loki S2 or myself for the fact that my genuine read on it four episodes in is that the natural culmination is Loki having to choose between Mobius and Sylvie. And choosing Mobius

various fucked-up sm2099 (1992) canon divergence aus that people at marvel COULD be exploring instead of just inevitably rebooting e-928 for the umpteenth time every six years under the guise of “modernizing” 2099:
- literally Anything to do with aaron not dying in the aftermath of miguel’s Spidering   seriously. how WOULD miguel have dealt with having an unpredictable witness running around who not only saw his whole transformation, but also literally tried to kill him--? there’s a lot of room to throw a massive wrench in the early plot of sm2099; the change could be little, or it could send the whole thing off the rails in an entirely different direction!
- the Spidering Machine That Spiders People doesn’t blow up, but, for one reason or another, miguel still no longer has access to a full and uncorrupted file of his DNA anymore.   now he has to work triple-time to sabotage his previous life’s work to keep his little accident a one-time event, while at the same time struggling with his new powers that are getting harder and harder to keep secret. spider-man takes the heat off miguel, and gives him a plausible excuse for any mysterious property damage.
- i dunno, like. maybe actually using the fucking Vulture in an interesting way--   i mean the potential is RIGHT THERE--
- indulge my fanfictions. lean more into The Horrors   it is so casually implied and referenced, earlier on in sm2099, that:   there is always the nonzero potential that miguel could, within certain reason, spontaneously mutate further Spider-bits, and he plumb just doesn’t know whether he will or not at any given time;   alchemax legally owns the people they bring in for Unethical Experiments. that is canon in the text. kasey nash as a person likely does not exist anymore, after issues #4-5, in the eyes of the law;   if spider-man slips up even once, he could go from “vigilante” to “various antagonist’s lab rat” faster than you can say fwizz fwizz;   nueva york is an incredibly blatant surveillance state and the only reason that spider-man can mostly dodge Public Eye cameras Uptown is because george o’hara worked on developing and placing the ones that are around in miguel’s lifetime;   and i could go on and ON-- there are so many horrific implications in 2099 that are just completely disregarded without a second thought, and sm2099 is no exception. there’s so much goddamn Juice for storytelling there PLEASE dig into it a little put that beast (comic) in a situation (horror-focused arc).,,
- idk have the incredible hulk show up or something   he’s my friend i miss him   (really just about any immortal character could show up, but because i hate the maestro with a burning passion, i think it would be a fun “fuck you!” to future imperfect by having bruce banner still just be a quivering wet meow meow of a man with a deep and quiet righteous anger in his heart 100 years later instead of digivolving into some evil dictator fucker. plus i want to know joe fixit’s thoughts on the casino scene by 2099)
