So I've been getting into Linked Universe fanfics recently. And I read this one fic (can't remember the name now) where Link and Zelda from BOTW trolled the rest of the chain, saying there is no Hero and stuff, and it was hilarious. And I thought just occurred to me: I think it would make a hilarious fic where Link and Zelda mess with them by swapping names before they understand whats going on with the chain. And this makes the entire chain have a crisis because they think they found a new 'sister' who isn't really skilled at fighting and the 'Prince' keeps running around blowing sh*t up, ect.

Anyone else bothered by the Progressive Insurance Barbie commercial? Like they refer to Ken as her "boyfriend" and a HUGE point of the movie is that he's NOT her boyfriend. IDK, just seems like someone on the marketing team really should have watched the movie first...

Ok, but to add to this, at first Jason doesn't realize that Dick doesn't know who he is. So he confesses and proceeds to flirt with Dick who is internally panicking about YET ANOTHER mass murderer developing an obsession with him. So he politely tells turns him down, but at the same time says something that makes Jason realize he doesn't know who he is. Dick then proceeds to run every time Jason tries to explain which leads to the situation where he finally corners Dick to reveal himself.

JayDick Thoughts-

Imagine Jason coming back to life and trying to find Dick to tell him that he's loved him since they first met. He goes through the madness, and he keeps thinking of all the things he didn't do before he died. And he decides that confessing to Dick is a huge thing he missed out on and wants to do.

And Dick is dealing with this TANK of a man chasing him around, who is obviously just a tad unstable, and he has no clue who the hell this guy is. All he knows is this guy apparently had a duffle bag of severed heads at one point, lots of guns, and an obviously complicated relationship with Batman.

And then Jason finally gets Dick where he wants him and just wraps him in a huge hug. And is just "Oh thank god I thought you hated me, too, Dick-"

And maybe he says something only Jason and Dick knew about, pulls off his helmet dramatically (because they were all raised by Bruce) and it clicks who he is.

My first encounter was Hestu telling me the trees are scary and going "lol your such a weirdo hestu" and proceeding to scream 5 seconds later...

I have to say—I assume the intention of the TOTK devs for players encountering their first Evermean was for them to just be strolling in the wood and then get jumpscared by a tree, which is all well and good. However, my first Evermean encounter, in which I was just trying to take a picture of a firefly and my camera suddenly locked onto the tree behind it instead with a message reading, “Evermean”, left me standing there in silence with a sense of dread creeping over me at the realization that there were hidden threats all around me that I’d never have noticed before, which I think we can safely say is way scarier.

Ok, I know there are fics where Hob rescues Calliope...But I REALLY want to see a fic where, after he rescues her, she offers him some kind of boon. Hob finds out she is a Goddess and his request is to be friends. He explains his own immortality and how he is lonely because the only other immortal he knows (who he is in love with), he only sees every 100 years and didn't show up to their last meeting due to a fight. Her and Hob become friends and commiserate on their love lives (Hob being in love with his Stranger and Calliope still being in love with her Ex) without REALIZING it's the same person. Eventually they fall into their own romance/FWB situation, completely understanding that part of the others heart belongs to that other person. Then, Dream escapes and shows back up. Hob tells him about her without actually saying her name, and Dream in turns ends up telling him about his own Ex. Dream feels jealous (without realizing it maybe?) But the conversation prompts him to visit Calliope to make amends. He finds out she has a lover now, but she never says it's Hob, and resolves to be a good friend to her. Hob and Calliope commiserate about their other person showing up and end up deciding that they are fine simply remaining friends, and make plans to help each other as a wingman/wingwoman. Except when the first plan is put into action, Dream shows up and they both realize it's the SAME PERSON. Hob and Calliope sit there panicking and Dream is confused before realizing they must be the lovers the other was referring to. Dream leaves the meeting feeling conflicted that the 2 people he loves have forsaken him for each other, and happy that 2 of the people he loves most have found happiness in each other. Hob and Calliope proceed to have a freak out together before realizing they don't have to lose each other, they can just BOTH seduce Dream. (I like the idea of their freak out being in public and a bystander just interrupting with "you know...poly relationships are a THING"...and maybe thay bystander is Desire in discuise *evil cackle*) Thus begins their attempt to seduce the IDIOT they are both in love with while Dream tries his best to not let his own feelings break up his friends relationship. Probably takes them practically jumping him at the same time for him to FINALLY UNDERSTAND. And the story ends with Hob/Dream/Calliope all being happy together.

I need someone to write a Dreamling fic where Dream figures out he's in love with Hob and decides to seduce him. But his attempts just aren't working, so he grudgingly asks Desire for help. Desire is just excited to play Wingman and get a front row seat to the shenanigans, so they agree to help.

Meanwhile, Hob doesn't think Dream could ever feel that way and is desperately trying to not "misinterpret" Dream flirting with him. He doesn't want to push his friend away afterall!

Desire gets more and more frustrated that their advice ISNT WORKING??? Like they throw ALL the tropes at Hob. Only one bed? Misseltoe? Fake Dating? S*x pollen? There have been so many failed plans that they finally just show up at Hobs apartment and demand to know why Hob doesn't want their brother.

He takes one deep look at Hob and "Oh......I forgot about Mutal Pining.....". Hob is confused and Desire just storms away muttering about Idiots to Lovers.

Everyone talks about how Nemona is weird for constantly badgering you to battle. But can we actually take a look at who the ACTUAL unhinged psychos of this friend group are?

Miss Penny 'I accidentally became a mafia boss and thought hacking the government to steal its money was a good idea', Mr Arven 'I fought demigods to steal their potentially poisonous plants which there is a SOURCE saying will make you IMMORTAL and I'm gonna feed it to my dog, my friend, and myself', and you who fights God's, Demigods, the mafia, and does the gym/E4 on top of it all.

And Miss Nemona 'Student Council President, Straight A Student, loves a highly regulated government sanctioned activity'.

Let's all just be honest here....the reality is that Nemona would be the Mom!Friend with the Unhinged Goblin trio that is the MC, Arven, and Penny on baby leashes. Just desperately trying to stop them from being killed/arrested.

I like to think he remembered the year and just showed up to the tavern every single day that year, just to be safe!

just saying if some rando came up to me and told me ‘let’s meet up in a hundred years’ id be like ‘sure jan’ and laugh about it for a while. i would most certainly not be writing it down in my calendar for within a hundred years that I have just lying around somewhere, and I am most certainly not smart enough to remember the date of that one time I was drunk and some weirdo talked to me for a minute, especially some ten years later when I finally realise I’m not aging.

so, conclusion: Hob only remembered the date of their meeting bc he has a diary in which he wrote at length about the beautiful stranger he met on June 7th, 1389
