I am starting to get very annoyed by my mom pestering and pressuring me to get a full time job with benefits

Mom, if you're SO obsessed why don't you find a full time job yourself with those benefits is retirement not good enough for you and dad! I refuse to become a mindless working drone for the job you picked for me. I would rather do a remote work from home job with a flexible schedule than having to commute and struggle with work-appropriate clothes. At least you can wear what you like when working remotely from home and only have to dress up in case of a Zoom or Skype meeting

Obey me headcanon/ AU idea: If Lilith lived

CW: Mentions of death, suicide, suidical thoughts, attempted suicide, blood, self harm, PTSD,

MC and Lilith are not distantly related in this

Well all know what happened during the Great Celestial War and Lilith was fatally shot after Beel had to make a difficult choice to save either his twin or his beloved baby sister well... Lilith survives just barely when the arrow struck giving her a very nasty scar at the base of her wings and they all fell. Lucifer held Lilith in his arms weeping apology after apology for causing the Great Celestial War. Lord Diavolo and Barbatos show up and well know Lucifer swears his alligence and loyalty to Diavolo in exchange to save Lilith's life but instead of reincarnating her to be a human, she is treated for her injuries in a separate room from the brothers due to their severity she sustained in the war. Once she and her brothers were nursed back to health, the Demon King gave them their titles until Lilith was given her title as The Avatar of Despair. Though her physical wounds and injuries healed, her mental and emotional state didn't. When Satan came along after being born out of Lucifer's pure, raw, unfiltered and unadulterated wrath she wasn't sure of how to approach her new brother until when he flew into his rages, her demon powers awakened and managed to stop him when she saw that he was on his knees and tears fell from his eyes. (Think of Steven Universe's Blue Diamond and her powers) This was her Pathokinesis which was discovered can affect anything and anyone within her aura feeling intense sadness and grief.

In Nightbringer if she lived, Lilith doesn't have much control over her Pathokinesis making her brothers cry with her powers whenever she has an emotional breakdown. There are times that she would have terrible nightmares of the Great Celestial War and this was in contribution to her PTSD and CPTSD. She would constantly blame herself for their fall believing fate was cruel to let her live and this made her suicidal leaving her suicide letter in Lucifer's room but her attempts of ending it all were stopped by her brothers mainly the twins. Lucifer had stopped her attempted suicide when she tried to use a knife against her throat. Of course he'd lecture her to never do what she did again which triggered her pathokinesis.

"I get it okay! I'm the black sheep of this family!"

"Lilith, you need to calm down. Your powers are acting up again."

Lucifer understands the severity of her emotional instability and tries to not be so harsh with her in his lectures and assures her that he along with the rest of her brothers don't hate her. Her feelings towards humans is reserved after what happened with her lover and is left in the dark with their fate if they lived or die. Swore she would never fall in love again especially with a human. Hates Valentine's Day but stays for the chocolates and Beel gives her some that were discounted the day after.

In SWD the present timeline: Lilith has better control of her pathokinesis and has a healthier coping mechanism when she has another emotional breakdown. Lucifer revealed to her that he had locked Belphie away for his own protection, because he was openly against the human race and put Diavolo's exchange program in jeopardy and since she was the only one that knew, he forced her to keep silent about it and make tell her other brothers he was sent to the human world as part of the exchange program. When MC came along, Lilith kept her distance from them not wanting history to repeat itself. And in the events of lesson 16 seeing what Belphie had done killing MC her pathokinetic powers are in full flare affecting everyone with her intense sadness.

"Belphie... Stop this you're hurting them!"

"What have you done... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!!!"

"All I see is a monster in place of the brother I once loved!"

It was almost the same pain she felt when she found out the human she loved was dying of an incurable illness.

When MC is alive again, she promises never to take their presence for granted and both of them weren't ready to forgive Belphie for what he had done and confessed why she kept her distance from them and that she didn't hate them or did anything wrong other than forge pacts with them to free her brother from his prison and to have them be a family again.

"I... I guess I could forge a pact with you. Think of it as my apology for being so distant and aloof towards you."

"MC, why are you crying? I said you can make a pact with me."

"They're not sad tears, they're tears of joy."

I do headcanon that if Lilith lived and became a demon along with her brothers her demon powers would include pathokinesis which is the power to control the emotions of those around you. The House of Lamentation isn't big enough for two emo demons. Yes, I do see Lilith as an emo goth girlfriend.

For their prom picture Rosella did take a selfie first with Luke's D.D.D. then with her own to post on Devilgram. After all, Michael did request pictures.

Annual reblog reminder and I'm both shocked and appalled that Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day is happening at the same time tomorrow. Nevertheless, if I had to choose between fasting and giving up what I like for 40 miserable days or sulking in my room while drowing my sorrows in Valentine's Day chocolate, I'm choosing the latter. This is your daily reminder that not everyone has the capability to fast and abstain since we need food and drink to keep up our strength in the mental and especially the physical sense due to health conditions that make it impossible to do so and Christianity doesn't see that and does not care.

This list I made last year from last year's reblog can still be reblogged if you wanna add more but definitely eat meat Fridays all the meat you like(if you're a vegetarian or vegan there are other means of getting the needed protien) the same for Good Friday screw one meal a day have all 3 and for the love of all that is good in the universe stay hydrated and drink lots of water

Do you ever look at your calendar and see that February 22nd the day after Mardi Gras is marked as Ash Wednesday, I already did. Countless times to be honest.

If you're eager for the start of Lent then good for you or if not then that is okay as well just make sure to take care of yourself.

If you're in the religiously abused category and see Lent and the whole idea of fasting, giving alms, praying and giving something up for 40 days as a big trigger like I do then let me be the one to help (if that is okay with you)

If you're ex Catholic and no longer identify or associate yourself with Christianity like I am especially after making my faith renunciation loud and clear but are still stuck in a strict religious environment where the family is still stuck in a stage of denial that their child young or grown is no longer in the faith and attempting to reconvert and "bring back to the flock" unaware that their futile attempts will only push the child away instead genuinely accepting things as they are then you came to the right post.

This time of the year can be difficult for all of us and some of us don't have the capability to fast or abstain for 40 days since we need food and drinks to keep up our strength in the physical and mental sense especially in the physical side due to health conditions that make it impossible to do so and Christianity does not see that unfortunately and some don't even have the right to make the choice of not doing Lent at all.

Very unfair if you ask me. So very unfair. I devised a list for Anti-lent to use and feel free to reblog and add your own to the list

Instead of giving something up why not indulge in it. It could be food, a new drink you wanna try but the church says "No way, you're practicing abstinence whether you like it or not!" screw that and do the opposite.

Pick up a new skill. It could be writing, reading that is not biblical scripture, trying a new cooking recipe in the kitchen(please be careful if you do so. No one likes coming home to a kitchen set on fire.)

Question Church teaching and the rules. This may seem like a very hard one and heavily discouraged in Catholicism. I've done a lot of questioning as a child and there were a lot of rules that never sat well with me at all. Blind faith and blind obedience is not a good look on anyone

On Fridays, instead of not eating meat or going to a fish fry, eat meat anyways you need the protein(unless you're vegetarian or a vegan there are other means of getting protien). Treat yourself to hamburger, steak, any meat will do. The same applies for Good Friday instead of one meal have your 3 square meals of the day.

Practice self-care. This one, is a super important one! If some priest in his sermon says to give self-care for lent don't listen and do the opposite instead. Cut your hair, go for a mani-pedi, try a new fragrance, take an extra long bath or shower, meditate, do what makes you happy this goes with the indulgence portion.

Instead of giving alms, use that tithing money on yourself or donate to a more worthy cause because the church does not deserve even a single cent from either of us no matter how much they try to guilt you into dropping your hard earned money in the offering basket. If you have a paycheck splurge some but save a portion for whenever that urge to splurge comes up leave some as a "Don't touch until next payday or future adventure travel fund".

Set boundaries. If folks ask why you aren't giving anything up for Lent, don't answer because you don't owe anyone an answer as to why. That applies to families no matter how hard some don't believe in the concept of boundaries.

Take care of your mental health. As someone who was emotionally and mentally abused by the Catholic Church, this felt like something I should've done a long time ago. Find a good therapist or psychiatrist especially one that specialize in treating folks with religious trauma. I've been seeing a therapist and I'm still in the recovery process since I got mental and emotional scars that won't heal right.

If you're pagan like I am. Look into Easter's origins before Christians came and ruin everything like they always have for milenia. Self-reflect on Ostara and the arrival of spring means to you meditate on that.

You're free to reblog and add more to the list and you can hashtag it as well in your reblogs so be sure to enjoy Mardi Gras, dance, eat, drink(responsibly), catch some beads and maybe engage in as much debauchery possible just don't let the debauchery doesn't land you in jail.
